The breakfast was very good, lots of fresh fruit, great cappuccino! Roof top dining was good as well. We love the Air Port pick up it made our life easier! Too bad the weather was super hot and smoggy! Our room had a nice balcony to have Coffee on as the Sun Rises!

The Sun is Super Hot!
The Hotel EV Shuttle Service is a BIG PLUS + The driver was very Courteous and was a very Safe Driver.
Breakfast was very good!
The Price for the room was way too high, Making a repeat stay unlikely!

This is a great hotel. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was beautiful. I had a room overlooking the Mekong with a balcony which I recommend as the view is awesome. The breakfast is also excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

We asked to be moved as our room on the 3rd floor overlooking the road was too noisy (could hear the relentless motor bikes over the AC fan). They had no similar room so they upgraded us to a suite, which is a nice gesture), but they failed to mention that the room sits underneath the skybar with live and disco music blaring until midnight!! The subwoofer could be felt all the way down to the 5th floor where our friends had their room. I specifically chose this hotel for its location away from town and for hoping to be less noisy. I was not expecting the hotel to the cause of this racket. The breakfast was just ok given this type of hotel and price paid. The fruit juices were from concentrate with lots of sugar and croissants were mushy.

The room was spotless. The bathroom spacious and very clean. Location good (the hotel offers a free shuttle into the centre which is about 25 - 30 min walk). The food was delicious - especially the breakfast. Overall I couldn't fault this hotel, and would highly recommend it

The hotel was quiet and by the great Mekong River. I got this hotel because of the view and the large room. The only reason why I did not give a full 5 star was the wait to get checked in.

While I do understand its peak season, the expectation is still to get your room when it’s time to check in. I was not the only one waiting too.

But granted the service staff was trying their best to resolve the issue and was in constant communication with housekeeping - and for that it was much appreciated.

The room was clean and large. The balcony view was excellent. I would have loved to have a drink at the rooftop bar, but unfortunately was closed for the 2 days I was there.

They provide a free shuttle to 2 locations, including the night market.

Their breakfast was good with international and some limited local dishes as well.

There was also a pool and a fairly decent gym with free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes and some machines.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice property, the various restaurants in particular were very nice and food was really good although some items were extremely overpriced. I live in Hawai'i and some of the prices were the same as at home which shocked me. Restaurant staff was phenomenal, warm and friendly.

I would not stay there again though simply because of the location - not convenient at all and kind of in an odd spot, honestly. It is right on the river but it's not particularly scenic and It's a 15 minute taxi ride to any of the major tourist sites. The hotel does provide a free shuttle to the night market but there are numerous hotels right there you could choose instead.

We stayed for two nights at the hotel. The staff are all polite and very friendly. The breakfast selection was very good but know that you are not allowed to eat in your room. It seems only beverages are allowed in there. Overall the rooms are clean, but we did notice that there was a mark on our sheet for the blanket that wouldn’t come off. We didn’t think it was a big deal as the sheets are cleaned just the mark didn’t come off. The only issue we had was the sealing for the bottom of the shower as part of it was open which leaked into the other part of the bathroom. It should’ve been sealed all around. Otherwise it was a good stay.

Hotel sits directly in the Mekong river. Feels upscale compared to many others and the price is right. Would definitely return. Pool area could be a bit bigger, gets crowded in the evening, but I didn’t even care to swim anyways. I enjoyed my stay overall.

The hotel service was great. We requested a larger room, with a good view of the river and extra pillows which the provided. They also provided a free shuttle bus pickup from the airport and the best part is they a have free shuttle bus service every hour to the city centre so you don’t need to walk or get transport. I couldn’t recommended any better.

The staff at Eastin were wonderful. They treated my son like family. Location is out of the way from the action but it’s ok. Breakfast was good many options. Room was a decent size, have a working safe in the room, ac didn’t work first few days but they fixed it. Overall recommend the hotel! Thank you Eastin Vientiane 🙂

Beautiful 5-star hotel in Vientiane. It is a bit out of the tourist and downtown area but it’s quiet and just a short taxi ride there. They also offer a shuttle. The service was exceptionally friendly and they helped us with an early-morning taxi to the airport. And we had lunch in their restaurant which was delicious and Jen was lovely.

Very warm and happy colleagues. Hotel looks directly on to the Mekong River. Good gym and small swimming pool which is open air (limited spaces), relaxing all the same. Shuttle bus to the centre, which is around a miles walk. Enjoyable for a few nights stay.

Stayed there 3 separate times in the last 18 days. First time everything was great! No complaints. The last 2 night stay we experienced toilet issues. Not being about to fix, they offered to move us. However with being fully booked there was no king size bed available. We opt to stay in the room and use the lobby restroom.

Service was average, we booked rooms with king beds, they tried to give us single beds, and then wanted to push them together, and then offered a different room with a king bed but was a lower standard room then we booked and paid for. Have stayed in better hotels in Vientiane.

The hotel was really nice as were the restaurants. I disregarded other reviews about the pool space but I shouldn’t have; there are literally four sun beds, and two high tables, so it’s a bit uncomfortable to be there. Also, it was probably the river and not the hotel but my room smelled like sewage, especially in the morning. Other than that, I highly recommend!

In the second night, air not working again and agreed to move us to another room. Upgraded to a suite, which was very nice.

Transportation challenged

There is almost nothing within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel seemed new but the room was small compared to other Thai hotels I have stayed in. The hotel offers a shuttle service for free but only goes to two locations and they forgot to pick us up once stranding us downtown. I had no phone or Lao currency so it was stressful and difficult to get back to the hotel. I was furious about that but the desk clerk paid the taxi and the hotel did not ask me to reimburse them. They had multiple restaurants in the hotel but they all had the exact same menu. I saw plans for a new and better menu but it wasn’t available for us.

Good service - welcome drink on check in and great app to access all the hotel services. The shuttle to and from the city centre was really good offering a shuttle every hour. The room was clean and having the river view was lovely. The area is fairly quiet so is a nice place to relax. We only went to the rooftop bar and this was a very relaxing atmosphere. We ate out in the evening but the breakfast in the morning was great. Lots of selection and the coffee is pretty strong.

Great Stay in Vientiane

The hotel is located on the banks of the Mekong River, a ten minute drive to the airport, thirty minute drive to the High Speed Railway Station and five minutes away from the CBD. The facility is new, the staff very friendly and the facilities agreeable.

Our room overlooked the river. On the far side we could see the lights of Thailand.

A delightful open roof top bar and restaurant served fine food and wine at sensible prices. At night the atmosphere was enhanced with the occasional aeroplane arriving and departing overhead from the International Vientiane Airport.

At the lobby level a Restaurant served a large array of dishes for breakfast. A well appointed bar downstairs was a welcome refuge when rain closed the roof top bar.

The property is on the outskirts of Vientiane, surrounded by unfinished, unpretentious building sites, and faces a busy road that runs along the Mekong River. The hotel has a decent-sized swimming pool,(slippery floor when wet!) Terrace bar-restaurant on the top floor, unfortunately, we were unable to use it because of the heatwave. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the town. Hotel food average. Vientiane is not worth a visit! Nothing there. Save your 40$ visa!!

Definitely one of my best hotel experiences in quite some time. The quality lf the staff and facilities is one of the best in the world. Easily a 5 star rated hotel. If youre looking for a luxury hotel that is both quiet at night and away from any noise, this the one. The river view is amazing. The breakfast was above and beyond most places i have been to as well and will seeve traditional Laos style soup.

Property was nice, right across street from Mekong.
Staff, especially in Silk Road restaurant was very professional and attentive.
I got room on 8th floor directly below speakers of 360 restaurant and bar, and on some evenings it was very loud. All other nights I heard and felt the vibrations of the bass from the music. This was NOT ideal, but since I did not complain to reception and ask for another room, it's my bet.
Having been at the Bangkok Eastin before, I just expected a bit more (of amenities, etc) luxury.

As far as the surrounding area is very nice, just the close proximity is not as clean like the western world, but clean enough. The service is excellent, United States has nothing to compare considering they don’t get compensated like getting tips and the pay is very low.
