Great for family resort with variety of great food in the all inclusive package. Lots of activities to keep you busy throughout the day. Open up late bar compare to other resorts, lots of shows, games and things to do. The only thing that i did not like was the minimum of 6 people for the excursions, snorkeling and fishing (they canceled ours cause there was not enough ppl, apparently everyone was at the pool 360 bar drinking lol). Overall we had a great time and would definitely go back again. Thank you to all the bartenders they were great. Ooo and i forgot to mention the underwater restaurant Only Blue, staff was amazing, food was awesome and the atmosphere was at a top level. Thank you

J'ai juste un mot : \"Choisissez-le, réservez, et allez-y !\"
La prestation restauration est de qualité. Pour mon goût personnel de professionnel du secteur, il manque un peu de viandes grillées ! Mais c'est un détail.
Vous serez comblés par les desserts qui sont dans les standards français sans aucun problème.
(Un avis d'un professionnel reconnu de l'hôtellerie restauration).

P.S. : il faut ajuster la fréquence et le sens des Shuttle \"water room\". Un service à améliorer.

Negatives: Entertainment (mostly live singing and not very good) , only One bar area so nowhere to go on evening if you don’t like loud Karaoke. No snack availability if you skip breakfast apart from popcorn. No snacks in room apart from welcome chocolate bar. Water villa views are nice but vary depending on what side you are located. Probs not worth it on this resort in my opinion.

Food isn’t great, Indian counter was consistently good, Asian counter ok, international counter poor. Breakfast also not great.

Points to note: Steak and Lobster is available but in separate restaurant at $55 $79 per person. Both were nice.

Overall this resort doesn’t feel too special for the Maldives experience, water villa or basic room you will get the same experience as the bar area and buffet is the same.

Good for Maldives on a budget would be my overall opinion.

Clean room and staff we're amazing. However, the checkout process is horrible because they make you check out at twelve o'clock.Even though your flight isn't leaving until well into the night.And you have to sit around in the heat with no AC for up to 5 hours before you can depart the island en route to the airport. They do provide you with the room to take a shower with no washcloth or loofah. They do allow you to still take part in all the amenities such as drinks and the food.But when you're hot and aggravated, none of that matters. Besides that factor this is a great place to stay and visit if you're ever coming to the Maldives. My advice would be for management to have different checkout times for guest, leaving later in the evening.

This was our first trip to the Maldives, and we absolutely loved every moment of it! We visited to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday, and staying at OBLU Xperience Ailafushi turned out to be the perfect choice. The resort is just a short 15-minute speedboat ride from the airport, which made getting there quick and easy.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the resort itself is very family-oriented, with plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. The overwater gym was a highlight — there’s nothing quite like working out while watching a stunning Maldivian sunset.

There was also a great variety of food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — something for every taste. The ocean water around the island was crystal clear, calm, and perfect for snorkeling or swimming alongside the colourful fish.

We loved every single day we spent there and would definitely recommend OBLU Xperience Ailafushi to anyone planning a Maldives getaway!

This is a fabulous resort we travelled as a couple to the Maldives expecting it to be a very quiet remote but beautiful location. We actually loved the music around the pool in the morning the activities such as aqua gym and 15 minutes free paddleboard there are families here young old the food is great with lots of variety and the cocktails arent sugar they are well made With the bar staff being really responsive to your needs meal times are great too. I would highly recommend this hotel if you fancy going to the Maldives but having a bit of entertainment whilst you are there too. The location is incredible, its only 15 minutes speedboat from the main land. Extra excursions are expensive, but if you were here for two weeks it would be worth planning a few in.

Overall, a good 4-night stay! They should put a wristband on underage children so the bartenders don't serve them alcohol. Activities are a bit expensive, as everything is in dollars and pricey. Once you are in the resort, there is no cost-effective way to go to the main island or other islands. The travel cost is steep per person if you want to go to the main island, so keep that in mind. Their underwater restaurant can be skipped, nothing fancy, save your $$$. Another thing they can improve is to add some snacks in between meals, since it's all-inclusive. Bring your snorkeling gear and water shoes to fully enjoy!

Really great resort.The service was excellent, as was the overall cleanliness. We stayed in a beach villa which was absolutely perfect. If you wanted to be on your own area of the beach, relaxed and quiet then this was perfect. The main beach/pool area offered a livelier atmosphere. Both The Copper Pot and the Only Blu underwater restaurant were outstanding and worth the extra expense. Personally we would have liked a little more variety with the evening entertainment as it was the same house band that played throughout. Perhaps in peak season this is more varied.

Negatives:
The is the 4th resort in the Maldives that we’ve been to and beaches are the worst by long way.
The cocktails were all pre-made and sickly sweet. Fresh cocktails, extra money.
Entertainment and music round the pool was very loud. As there was only one bar/ pool there is no way of escaping. It would be much better if there was a quiet beach bar.

The food at the restaurant was really tasty and fresh, the water villa was excellent . We enjoyed the music around the pool and if you wanted a song playing by the dj at noght she was more than happy to play son suggestions. Equally you find a beach with no one on.. if you wanted a quite place. Same for music at night plenty of space outside not as loud as inside, or water villa terrace for total bliss. I would recomend and return. Spa treatment and meal at copper pot recommend them both

The property was dated and the flooring in the room was a health & safety issue. My friend had an accident slipping on the flooring and damaging the TV that he didn’t realise he had damaged it. He was threatened he couldn’t leave the property until he paid for the damage caused. The whole stay not good at all. I will be putting the review on Trip Advisor. I have taken pictures of the flooring as like I’ve explained it’s an hazard to all guests. To be charged $350 is unacceptable

This was my first visit to the Maldives, and staying at OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi was nothing short of magical. From the moment we touched down at the airport to the bittersweet moment we had to leave, everything far exceeded my expectations. We had a beach villa on the sunset side of the island, the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. The villa was spotless and fully stocked daily with bottled water, soft drinks, and beer. I appreciated the little details, like beach towels waiting in the room (also available by the pool), and the water feature by the entrance to rinse off sandy feet before stepping inside, simple but so considerate. And the food – wow! Every meal was a culinary delight. The variety was outstanding, with everything from Oriental and Asian dishes to Indian, European, vegetarian, pizza/pasta stations, and live cooking counters. The chilled room for salads and desserts was a lovely touch, ensuring everything was fresh and appealing. The Indian cuisine, in particular, blew me away, the flavours, the range, and the authenticity were beyond amazing. I was in absolute heaven. A special shout-out to Louis, who made us fresh chai every day with a warm smile. Highlights of the trip was trying scuba diving for the first time. I was nervous, but the dive team was absolutely fantastic. Every single member of staff at the resort was friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The whole experience was seamless, luxurious, and deeply relaxing.

Not worth for money

I heard it opened just few yrs ago, but the villa floor was torn. I stayed in water villa for 4 nights, the bulter didnt show up. We did everything by ourselves without any help.
Food was not good. After I left the resort, I had airplane meal, it was better than food I had there.
The restaurant was too hot. I guess they want to provide eco- sevice, but ceiling fans were not enough to cool heats from food and clouded people.
The veiw was great. Thats all I got there.

Me & wife went here for our 20th wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort was very nice and on the whole was very good. One negative was the evening entertainment was very loud. The girls that sung in the evening were very good, but it was just too loud. You had to shout to each other if you wanted to talk to each other inside. I would recommend going here as the food was very nice with a good choice. We went to the under water restaurant which was great and was nice to have the fish swimming beside where you were eating, this wasn't included and you will have to pay to use it. We had a beach villa and went straight onto the beach and was like having your own private beach. I would recommend going here

We had a wonderful time at this resort. It was just myself and my partner and we loved the beautiful over water bungalow and the service was outstanding. Only complaint (minor) was that the liquor included in the Fushi plan was nothing we would drink, so we ended up paying additional. Otherwise, the staff was amazing and I would recommend this resort to those with children as they have a lot for them to do.

Liked the buffet food and beach. Beach villa nice but too close to staff football. Impossible to enjoy bar as it seems to think thay it needs to function as a nightclub from 5.30pm until 12.30pm. Cannot talk or hear, even out on decking. Seems to serve very few of the 600 guests and is the only bar. Can be heard clearly thumping out from beach villas and is out of sorts with the relaxed Maldive vacation vibe. Our most disappointing of 4 Oblu/Atmosphere resorts and clearly a down market offering for first time visitors and families. Fushi plan also watered down with no inclusive activities and self serve dining drinks which means little chance to interact with staff who were doing their very best.

This was the first time we did a resort stay, all inclusive. The food options were incredible, the majority of the staff were lovely, and the water villa was very special.

It's a very expensive stay for our budget but we couldn't afford the adults only resorts and this one seemed slightly less marketed to children, which was the main reason for choice along with budget and what was included. Speed boat transfers to and from the island.

There should be some rule at all resorts about only being able to leave towels on sunbeds you are using - we watched people leave towels on chairs at 9am and not use them until 3-4 hours later - just rude and unfair for those wanting to use a chair during those hours.

I would give it a solid 4.5 Stars. Stayed for 8 days, very relaxing with the most stunning water I've ever seen. Best free snorkelling ever right off your room when staying in a over water villa. Food was very decent but not exceptional for what you pay, which is the only minor negative why I didn't give a 5 star. Would definitely recommend though, but would probably try a different resort if I were ever to do it again, just to compare.

I like water villa, the beach and the sea, food.
I did not like the pool: it was green, i didn't even step in. However i've seen people who spent a lot of time there, maybe they like it.
Lot of trash arrived from the see, i even caught 2 jars of used engine oil. All the activities pricy and underwater restaurant cost me$480 for 2 adults and a child. I realized that all the stuff is delivered by watercraft and more expensive than in other places, but still look overpriced. Plus, that is not because of this place, my flight from US was too long and going back even longer plus 10 hour connection in Qatar. So,to resume all above, i can't say that it was a bad time for us, the weather was fine and we wanted to see Maldives. But, if compared to my previous travels, I'd like better to go on Caribbean islands.

All Inclusive with free airport transfers

This was a wonderful hotel that includes both transfers to/from the airport and an all inclusive package.

The arrival and departure was well managed with luggage delivered to your room and collected upon leaving.

The food was excellent. I was skeptical being all inclusive that quality would diminish, but I was pleasantly surprised. They also cater very well to allergens with all food well labeled. One member of my party was gluten free and had a very wide selection.

Drinks were also very good!

We had a water villa and while it was nice/a novelty, I felt it was a little dated despite the hotel being so new. We walked past the beach villas and they seemed to offer so much more space with the beach patio area.

My only negative was that the airport transfer was arranged very early with no option to delay. I arrived to Male airport 3.5 hours before my flight which I felt was far too early given the size and condition of the airport.

Will definitely go back and enjoy relaxing vacation.
From airport welcome staff to last day send off boat crew all were just wonderful.
Lot of food choices with international food options.
Because our boat was leaving during lunch time they even offered us free lunch although it was not suppose to be in our package.

Just made our visit to Oblu a memorable experience.
