Perched atop Santorini's caldera cliffs, near Fira, the Volcano View Hotel and Villas offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the island's famed sunsets. This luxurious 5-star hotel boasts 85 exceptional rooms and seven VIP villas with private pools.

Its traditional Cycladic architecture, vibrant frescoes, and bright colors create a captivating ambiance. Guests enjoy superior service and amenities, solidifying its reputation as one of Santorini's finest accommodations.

Note: Standard Promo Rooms are located in an annex building, a short walk from the main facilities. From April 15th to October 15th, pool temperatures are set to 28°C and hot tubs to 37°C.

Outside these dates, and occasionally during summer due to weather anomalies, these temperatures may not be reached.

Our stay at Volcano View was absolutely breathtaking. The name couldn’t be more fitting — the view of the caldera and sunset from all areas (balcony and pool) was one of the best we experienced in Santorini. The property is beautifully designed with classic whitewashed architecture, pools, and peaceful lounging areas perfect for relaxing.

The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed — from arranging transfers to recommending restaurants and tours. Breakfast each morning was plentiful, with a wide selection and a stunning view to match.

Our room was clean, and well-appointed, with that signature Santorini charm. Watching the sunset from our private terrace truly felt like a dream.

If you’re looking for a place that captures the magic of Santorini — beauty, tranquility, and hospitality — Volcano View is an excellent choice.

Special shoutout to Maria, Demetrius, Costas, Sofia, Alex and that wonderful young chap who I just can’t recall his name at this time (he made
me some the creamiest hot chocolate each morning) - all made our stay even more memorable

Your entire team truly defines the best of Greek hospitality. You made our trip to Santorini wonderfully relaxing and absolutely unforgettable. It’s a very nice hotel with beautiful views and restaurant and restful atmosphere and in general the staff are very pleasant and helpful buy on my first day I slipped and fell down the stairs outside which connect the rooms to the rest of the hotel. They’re very steep and there were no warning signs and there was no handrail to hold on to where I fell. I felt the staff could have been more helpful when I reported it and I explained the injuries I sustained. The manager seemed genuinely concerned but still wasn’t very helpful. It spoiled my holiday because I couldn’t go in the water because of the injury to my arm. It’s a lovely place to stay but the owner should review and update safety for guests.

This was the quietest location with amazing view, equally amazing staff, very friendly and speak English very well. I would come back here to stay again and again. We when to visit Fira and Oia but they are too full of tourists, I prefer to be a little farther and transportation is easy to find. The public bus is easy to get and cheap. This was worth the money and we went by the recommended restaurants to eat my favorite was in Oia Pelicans rooftop has great views and amazing food, the lamb shank and chicken svalaki is worth the wait.

We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano View Hotel. We had a balcony room that was situated away from the main pool and restaurant so felt very quiet and private. There are multiple pools on the property so we had one right below our room with a nice lounging area. The breakfast was great, gorgeous views, and all of the rooms are built into the cliff side. This location is not right in a town, but does provide shuttles to Fira multiple times a day. I traveled with my fiancé and we really liked how quiet it was near our hotel and that we could travel into the busy towns but return to tranquility. The room service was great, room was very clean. Only once during our stay did we lose hot water but the hotel fixed it very quickly. The front desk staff helped us to rent an ATV to explore the island which was great! We got to see much more of Santorini. Highly recommend this hotel.

My friends and at stayed at the Aphrodite villa. Our concierge Niko went above and beyond to make our stay and experience memorable. We had everything we needed and he gave us amazing recommendations and arranged for transport every time we wanted to step out. The staff was amazing and we had no complains. The villa itself was stunning, I strongly recommend this to anyone looking to staying at Santorini.

Our stay at the Volcano View was more than amazing. From the moment we got to the hotel, the staffs were very welcoming. The hotel itself was even more beautiful than I imagined; honestly picture can’t do justice. The receptionists were very helpful when booking excursions and even showed us what we should do In Santorini.

The entire staff at VV is uniquely warm, friendly, helpful and respectful. Lori and Petros served us frequently with aplomb. As did all the staff. You cannot beat the breathtaking views accompanied by great service. If we return to Santorini, this is where we will stay. Thank you VV employees, servers, drivers, reception, luggage, breakfast buffet staff, luggage man and maid staff.

Incredible views. Staff was friendly and responsive. Room was clean and comfortable, although our AC kept turning off at night by itself. The hotel has a shuttle to the town of Thira which is nice but only runs 4 times a day, with the last pickup time at 8pm. Wish there was a later shuttle because you will most likely stay out past dinner time. Breakfast buffet at the restaurant was excellent and service was great.

What I liked was the surrounding natural beauty. The rooms have a lovely view of the Caldera and were clean, the beds were soft -worn out.Most staff were very friendly and did their best to accommodate every need. Some of the front desk were dissmissive to the point of rudeness. ex. I enquired about an excursion and was met with \"I told you that already \". I don't believe this is the rule but rather exception that needs attention.The hotel is not centrally located and there is limited public transportation and shuttle service from the hotel to Thira. Having stayed there in 2017 I noticed a substantial reduction in shuttle service, as the hotel is not close to shopping and excursions problematic. Especially considering the food was not great. The breakfast buffet was typical of European hotels offering American/Greek offerings nothing special as compared to other hotels that are not billed as 5 star spa. One dinner I had was atrocious. I had seafood pasta, it was likely frozen and then cooked until it was rock hard. I could not eat it. I was not charged. If you have issues with stairs, there are many. To get to the first pool was about 3 stories of steep stairs. The staff says that it's because It's built on a cliff, except the 2 hotels surrounding it had street side pool and dining. You will have to use stairs to eat and to concierge. It does not claim to be handicapped accessible. Shout out to the hard working staff espc George. I gave less stars because of food/rudeness

We loved our 3 night stay at the Volcanic View Hotel! The views of the Caldera from our room and everywhere on site is breathtaking! The food is fabulous and I highly recommend the breakfast as part of your package. I used the gym at the adjacent property which was very nice, b it but I would have liked 24 hour gym access to accommodate our schedule. Also, the complimentary shuttle bus to Fiera (the closest town, was a nice bonus, especially since there are not many options for food and entertainment immediately outside of the hotel. I highly recommend the Volcanic view hotel for anyone wanting a unique serene experience!

Volcano view was excellent with a beautiful view of the caldera. It was just breathtaking. Staff was friendly and great breakfast options. I do wish that there were more options for lunch/dinner that weren’t so pricey. My one and only complaint was that the spa tub in the room had an unpleasant stench when turned on. We went there in April right after they had opened so I can imagine it was from not being used during off season, however, it should be something that should be checked prior to having guests stay. I wanted to enjoy the tub since it was too cold to go in the pools and that stench was a huge turn off.

Only disappointment was we would complimentary airport transfers included, we left from the port which was closer than airport & they wouldn’t honour transfer instead charging us 30 euros for a 10 min transfer.
