So we arrived at 12 and waited till 3 to get a room, however, when checked in, the phone didn’t work. Phone, remote control, door handles, light switches all really dirty. I walked down to reception and asked for phone to work - we stayed there (room 433) 3 nights… no one came to fix it. The cleaner came up but literally used a dirty cloth to clean the remote, remained filthy… overall if you’re looking for a tiny shower (just like Ibis) then this is suitable. It’s not really a 3 star. But it is in good location from airport (10 mins drive) and a 30 mins drive Into old town. Best to rent a car, roads are great. Otherwise, staff are polite, service is good.

Lots of food choices, we mainly had lunch and evening meals, cuts of meat were cheap cuts, fish was generally overcooked & dried out, best bit was the ice cream, drinks were dyer, how u get a pina colda & a mojito out of a the same soda gun is beyond me, but the taste was true testament to that, they were awful and un drinkable, as were spirits, the only thing that was just about palatable was the white wine!! They advertise a “gym” which was a joke, 2 mats on the floor, ripped up pieces of resistance bands, the heaviest weight was 2.5kg, and the stair stepper didn’t even have any power to it, on the whole this hotel didn’t cost a lot, so I guess u get what you paid for!!

I was not happy that there is no elevator to access the higher floors. The elevator only goes to the second floor. So we had to carry our luggage up to the 5th floor

Amazing area with beautiful views, close to the center (40m distance from Dubrovnik city), great breakfast, very nice room with balcony with sea view, good shower, toiletries and fridge.
The staff was very friendly and professional especially Tom in reception.

On the other hand the coffee wasn't great, on our balcony there wasn't much privacy duo to the lack of a barrier on one side and the bed could be a bit more comfortable.
But overall a great experience.

Due to travel changes we had two nights. The first was un planned but all was great. The second night was planned and upgraded to a sea side room. The only problem, but a big one to us, was that the room was heavily smoked in. I reported this to the hotel and they promised to spray the room with freshener. And air it out. Hours later we returned to nothing happening, still smokey. It has been decades since i have endured smoke in a room, as we are nonsmokers.

Unfortunately I found the hotel to be quite tired in appearance. The pools are small and dated. The pool bar and kids club area is also unattractive and needs serious updating. The outside of blocks D and E especially at ground floor level is empty and unloved. However the worst part of the hotel is the dining experience. The restaurant actually looks ok but the quality of food is markedly poor and the variety of food is also disappointing. Long queues form for the one or two appetising choices at each sitting (pancakes at breakfast or pizza at lunch and dinner). Other options look congealed, soggy and overcooked. Pasta is particularly inspiring and vegetables are shirvelled and lifeless. Drinks are also poor. Juices and colas are frankly foul mixes with carbonated water. Beer and wine are undrinkable as is the coffee. The lounge bar has zero atmosphere and nothing yo offer to keep people in the hotel in the evening. It's such a shame as the area is beautiful and it's a great location. We ended up going out to eat a couple of times at least as Cavtat and the bars and restaurants there were far more appealing. We'll be back to Cavtat but will give this hotel a miss.

There is always room for improvement

We are an older couple and having room on 4th floor (actually level 5 above ground) with no elevator was not fun at all.
Breakfast open buffet was included but the cook has no clue how to make scrambled eggs. They were actualy burned and lacked fluffness. Terrible. Orange juice didn’t tast like it originated from fresh oranges. Reminded me of tasting Soviet style juices made of coloring, sugar and water.

Hard to find parking. In room safe did not work which we reported with no response. Breakfast was just okay. NO black tea was available. Had no access to a computer to check in for our flight home!!

Location by the Beach great.
The bartender at the reception bare very good and friendly.
The cleanness it terrible, table full of cops and glasses underneath and around the beach chair and tables chewing gum cigarette butts ect.
The food overall horrible. Will I book again never.

Expensive for little value.

Very meh, especially for the price. The room was oppressively small, and cigarette smoke smell leaked into it from the corridor. The air-con does not go below 70°--we asked for them to fix this and they said this was hotel-wide. The hallway smelled like fish, and there were constantly used dishes from other rooms just sitting on a table in the hallway. Part of the hallway ceiling had developed a leak and huge chunks of paint had fallen. They put an old blanket on the floor to catch pieces, and a caution sign next to it, and just left it like that. Also, there were screaming children everywhere, and both pools were constantly full of them. Plus, there is some \"teen club\" on the property that played dance musice really loudly until about 11 each night. Super obnoxious.
Nice shower, good wifi, and comfy bed, though.

The view was good. The room was very small and depressing looking. Only had 1 towel for 2 people. The beach had big peebles, tough on the feet. The worst beach in the Dubrovnik area. The best beaches in the Dubrovnik area are at the Sheraton hotel or on Lopud island

Great hotel for the price. The only downside is the food, I wouldn’t do all inclusive again. The food was repetitive, under/over cooked and bland. The drinks were also quite basic and only non branded alcohol which tasted very different.
The staff were great and my room was a good size though some might argue it is quite dated.
They could invest more into the pool area as well.
The local area is fine the town is a 20 minute walk and the hotel is surrounded by other hotels and restaurants by the water.

I would stay here again.

2nd time in Cavtat

This was our second holiday in Cavtat, a wonderful location for a relaxed stay. The food and facilities at the hotel was excellent and all the staff were friendly and courteous. We will definitely be coming back.

A Disappointing Experience.

The grounds of the hotel were shabby and unkempt. There was also grubby outdoor furniture and broken decking around one of the pools.
The meals in the restaurant, all buffet, were of a poor standard with some food not kept warm, badly cooked meat and a lack of fresh fruit.
The hotel is right on the beach and has large grounds and gardens. All of this could be magnificent if the place were well maintained. The photos on the website are not a true indication of what it looks like in reality.

Overall fantastic holiday. Hotel just needs a few pointers. They need to play or provide music at night in the reception area where everyone gathers. In the restaurant they need to place the baskets of bread rolls in a better position as you could not get to them if people were waiting in the queue to slice the bread. They need to get better soft drinks? Other than that excellent.

When arrived we were told that there was a technical problem with some of their rooms and they they could not allocate us a room. We suspect they were over booked. Transferred us to the Hotel next door. Staff were not interested in our protestations and said that we could use their facilities including eating there and using their bar- we were fully inclusive. Tried testing this out later in the week by trying to use the bar. Staff were very rude and refused to serve us.
Cannot comment on their rooms as we did not manage to stay at Epidaurus.
Based on our experience we would not recommend this hotel to others.

Yes nice hotel but unfortunately I had a room way down the back next to generators which made a lot of noise. Some things in bathroom were not working. I was very dissapointed as I had 5 nights withoit air con as well. The French have top priortity there.

Zimmertemperatur auch In der Nacht nicht unter 29.5 Grad. Die Klimaanlage war völlig überfordert. Beim offenen Fenster war sie ganz deaktiviert.An erholsammen Schlafwar nicht zu denken. Leider nie wieder in solch einem Zimmer.

Dommage que la propreté de la chambre laisse à désirer notamment celle de la salle de bainTaches (éclaboussures sombres) sur le long du mur de la salle de bain, jamais nettoyées.
Pour le reste c est ok piscine au calme et nourriture correcte sans plus mais avec du choix. Bonne literie et draps très doux. Emplacement très bien, on mange face à la mer, on peut aller à Cavtat à pied, balade très agréable.

Scam-ish stay, would not recommend Cavtat!!!!!!!

We had originally booked a stay at Remisens Albatros Hotel which is the sister-hotel, it was awful and did NOT match the photos online, we left 45minutes after arriving. We then booked a stay at Remisens Hotel Epidaurus, it was only 5minutes walk away. The hotel was almost full so we had to book the first night and the other days separately. We had made both reservations online, and informed the man in the reception when we arrived. He said that he would get it fixed. We had to wait five hours to get our room. Meanwhile we where informed that we could eat lunch for 40kuna per person, when we got there the lunch was 140kuna per person and the selection was poorly. We had all-inclusive but only ate the pizza, nothing else was good.

Our room was big and close. The next day we went by the reception and was told to check out, leave the room, wait five MORE hours and check in again. We had already payed for the first night and city tax the day before, but where told to pay the next four days and a new city tax to get our passports back. Our new room was a downgrade, we had to walk down one floor from the reception, then down a hall, up two floors, down a hall, up two new floors. It was far, no elevator. Also you had to pay 100kuna to RENT towels, all information was in French, only the pizza man and one lady in the resection was nice, coffee was only available at breakfast or in the poolbar. The boatstand by the road, with a young lady, was a scam pay when you enter any boat.

Rett og slett dårlig!

Utrolig misfornøyd med dette hotellet. Da vi ankom stedet var resepsjonistene lite servicevennlige. Rommet vårt var ikke rent, det var insekter i sengen, aircondition kjølte ikke godt nok. Døra til kjøleskapet var ødelagt og selve kjøleskapet kjølte ikke drikken. Dette i en periode hvor det var mer enn 35+ grader ute. Da vi gikk til resepsjonen for å klage, så var det ingen hjelp å få eller noe form for kompensasjon. Vi ba om pengene tilbake for å kunne booke et annet hotell, men det var bare å glemme! Rett og slett dårlig service. Oppå dette måtte man stå opp grytidlig om morgenen for å kunne få tak i solseng, i tillegg til at de ikke hadde nok parasoller til alle, her var det «første mann til mølla» prinsippet. Når man betaler en god sum for et opphold, så burde alt ligge til rette for en avslappende ferie, og ingen stress. Vi opplevde kun stress og dårlig service. Aldri igjen skal vi gi våre penger til dette stedet.

Illallinen on pienehkö pettymys: Olut ja viini kuuluivat vain all inclusive -asiakkaille eikä koko illallisen aikana kukaan tullut kysymään olisimmeko halunneet jotain muuta ruoan kanssa tai maistuuko ruoka tms. Lisäksi ruoka itsessään ei ollut kovin tasokasta ja ruokailualue oli erittäin meluisa ja muistutti lähinnä koulun ruokalaa. Huone oli perussiisti ja moderni, mutta mielestäni hinta-laatusuhde ei kohdannut tässä hotellissa.

Nyss hemma från några dagar på detta hotell. Vi hade All inklusive. Vi gillade inte maten på hotellet och tyckte den var tråkig och smaklös. Vi gick in på byn och åt dom flesta måltiderna. Ständigt slut på kaffe och dom verkade snåla rejält på det. Personalen och servicen var dålig också. Om man påpekade något man var missnöjd med skakade dom bara på huvudet. Super gullig städerska dock. Hög och skärning volym vid stora poolen där det flera ggr per dag var aktiviteter. Svårt att få solstol. Rummen var ok men extremt litet badrum. Gick knappt att komma in och stänga dörren. Ligger vackert till vid havet och har fantastisk utsikt och solnedgång.

Schönes Hotel mit direkter Strandlage

Bereits vorab haben wir mit dem Hotel Kontakt aufgenommen um einen Transfer vom Flughafen zu organisieren. Uns wurde prompt ein Unternehmen mitgeteilt, welches derartige Transfers organisiert - alles hat perfekt geklappt!
Rascher Check-In + Erhalt des All-Inclusive-Armbandes. Keine 15 Minuten nach Ankunft waren wir schon im Meer schwimmen!

Leider werden die Liegen am Strand von anderen Urlaubern bereits in den Morgenstunden reserviert, obwohl sie diese dann den ganzen Tag nicht nutzen bzw.. es werden mehr Liegen reserviert als benötigt werden. Obwohl wir diese Vorgehendweise nicht gut heißen empfiehlt es sich Liegen bereits gegen 8/8:30 zu reservieren. Aber natürlich nur wenn sie dann auch genutzt werden!!!

Das Hotel wirbt damit, sowohl für Familien als auch für Paare geeignet zu sein. Im Speisesaal gibt es sogar einen eigenen Bereich für Familien mit Kindern um den Lärm von den restlichen Gästen fern zu halten. Schön und gut - leider funktioniert das aber nicht, wenn die Familien diese Bereiche nicht nutzen!

Etwas seltsam fanden wir, dass für französische Urlauber offensichtlich eigens Personal angestellt wurde, die diese auf Französisch ansprechen. Damit sie diese auch erkennen gab es für Franzosen scheinbar eine eigene Armbandfarbe.
