Absolutely wonderful stay at Bacan Serviced Apartments in Cavtat! The apartment was spotlessly clean with a modern design that made it feel like a true home away from home. Antun gave us such a warm and hospitable welcome – he was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, which made everything that much easier and more enjoyable.
The location couldn’t be more convenient – right outside a bus stop, just a few minutes’ walk to a grocery store, and a lovely stroll down to the charming town centre. Everything we needed was within easy reach.
Truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. We’re already looking forward to visiting again soon – highly recommend!

On top of the excellent accommodations, Antun Bacan was very gracious and helpful. The only thing I would change is to have the floor of the shower have some sort of non-skid treatment. It is a bit hazardous as is. I trust this will be rectified prior to my next visit! Five stars!

This was an awesome place. Very well kept. Auntun the manager is wonderful and helpful. He was able to pick us up and drop off at the airport for a reasonable cost. The day tours organized in Dubrovnik, Bosnia or Montenegro tours will pick you up across the apartment and drop off after the tour if you let the tour guides know in advance. We plan on visiting again next year.

Clean, modern and comfortable. Antun is a fantastic host. Walking to/from town is an uphill/downhill so be prepared for some cardio (bus and taxis are always available as well).

This is our default accomodation in Cavtat. Although basic, the apartments are clean and comfortable and the owner is friendly, helpful and communicative. The location is great, 7 mins walk from the town and 15 minutes walk from the solitude of the maquis belt. There is a Pemo supermarket just up the road. It is a 10 minute drive from the airport and the owner will collect you and take you back for a small charge. The bus to Dubrovnik stops right outside the property (literally). Highly recommended.

I love this apartment. I extended my stay for a total of six days. Manager gave me a lift to the dive store. Buses stop right at my door. Grocery next door and pizzaria across the street - good food, great service. Town down the hill.

Stayed here just for one night for an easy transfer to airport after staying on one of the islands. Apartment was large, clean and well equipped. The owner Antun, was very pleasant and helpful. He took us to the airport for our flight the next morning (100kuna) probably could get bus cheaper but this was so simple. For the price we paid for the apartment I was happy to give him a few more bob for the taxi ride. Cavtat itself is a lovely area with lots of restaurants along the promenade/harbour.

Owner has right approach for a good stay
If visiting Dubrovnik, there are definite advantages in staying in Cavtat and going over by bus / boat. Very happy with my choice of accommodation - was picked up at the airport on arrival. For other journeys the Cavtat - Dubrovnik bus stop is opposite, if you don't want to walk up the hill. Pictures give good impression of apartments - furnishings etc. Plenty of places to eat in Cavtat at varying budgets.

We stayed here for a couple of nights after two nights in Dubrovnik. Cavtat is a great place to stay as are the Bacan Apartments. The bedroom and separate kitchen/sitting area is spacious and clean, with new furniture and loads of cooking equipment if you want to cook. There a shop two minutes walk away if you need any provisions. If you want to eat out there are loads of restaurants only five minutes walk away. Anton the owner is very friendly and picked us up from town when we first arrived by boat. We enjoyed our stay so much we even stayed there on our last night before we left from the airport. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Antun Bacan is the proprietor and he is a genuinely nice man. His apartments do him credit; they are SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. The building is approximately 1km from the centre of Cavtat and on a hill but do not despair, dear reader. There is a short cut walk into town (as advised by Antun), avoiding buses and the like but if you have bad legs, as I do, all you have to do is wait outside the apartment for the number 10 bus! It only costs 10 Kuna, which is about £1.10 at the current rate of exchange. On the return trip, the bus station is at one end of the small harbour town of Cavtat and all you do is say 'hello, 1 person - 1 stop' and it's 10 Kuna again. Simples !

The staff was very courteous and flexible. I had originally booked the hotel one week later (due to an error) and they happily advanced the dates and even provided a discount (with the assistance of hotels .com). Upon arrival I found the suite to be clean and quiet with excellent internet. There were restaurants and convenience stores nearby and the hotel is located close to the scenic beach front downtown area. I would highly recommend the hotel to budget minded travellers as an alternative to dubrovnik.

I stayed for 7 days in October as a solo traveller in room 5 which had a partial sea view. The apartment was exceptionally clean, as was the whole apartment block. It was well equipped spacious bedroom with two single beds and adequate wardrobe space. There was an equally spacious lounge with a small balcony. Decoration is not over elaborate but tasteful befitting each room.The shower worked perfectly and towels and bed linen changed daily.

I contacted the property before we arrived to get transportation information. We received a quick response with bus information to take from the port and also a private shuttle to take to the airport for 100 kuna. Antan arrived on time to take us to airport and was very friendly. The apartment itself was large and plenty of space for me and my husband. We walked into the small town which was quant - not too much to do though

We emailed Antun for the transfer from airport,arrived at apartments and given apt 4 with twin beds.It was clean,spacious and bright.It had a toaster,microwave, twin hob,fridge and all cutlery,pots and pans.Everything functioned OK even the Wifi.Even tea and coffee were provided.Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels provided everyday.Bathroom was spacious as well with powerful shower. Cavtat is a beautiful place to walk about and loads of reasonable priced restaurants and bars.Walking down to the centre is only about 5 minutes downhill and walking up about 15 minutes or take bus no 10 every half hour from the centre for 10 kuna or taxi for 50 kuna.supermarket 100 metres near the apartments.We visited Dubrovink by bus and walked along wall and also did the cable car and admired the view from the restaurant.We also visited Dubrovnik by boat,stopping over at Lockrum Island.Also did three island Elafiti cruise with a nice lunch on board.Did Montenegro trip and Korcula wine tasting trip.Don't forget to do Cilipi folklore dancing on Sundays.Very enjoyable 10 days in Cavtat.Definitely use the Bacan apartments again.

Really liked this place, everything was clean and well presented. Host was exceptionally helpful, checking us in outside of office hours. It's a great location, quick walk into town with a minimart just up the road. Only down side is the walls are extremely thin and the neighbours sound like they're in your apartment.

Really enjoyed our stay in these apartments. Our apartment was well equipped, air conditioned and cleaned daily. Perfect for our needs as we were out a lot but at the end of the day needed to come back to air conditioning and good shower! Very close to a supermarket, restaurants and the beach. The owner was kind and helpful, told us all the information we needed with regards to traveling, sightseeing and even transferred us to and from the airport. Surprise bonuses were free wifi, and the owner was available at the reception at certain hours of the day and happy to answer questions.

We took advantage of the airport transfer service, and it was just so nice to be taken straight to your apartment on landing, rather than waiting around for a large bus to fill up with people, who you will then proceed to drop off at hotels and apartments which you will judge to be better or worse than your own. Well I don't know were everyone else was staying in Cavtat, but I don't think all of them will have been as satisfied as we were. We often stay in this type of accommodation, finding it to be more relaxed than a stay in a hotel, and of course facilities vary, but this is one of the best kitted-out apartments we've stayed in. Air con as standard, kettle and toaster, microwave and 2 rings for cooking, various pans, fairy liquid provided, drip coffee maker; it's the little things that make the difference.

If you're flying into the airport late at night, this is a great option. The owner picked us up at the airport and his place was only 5 min away. Very nice guy and good room. There's a decent restaurant across the street that stays open late too. Maybe not the best location the explore Dubrovnik, but great for one night.

Very nicely appointed apartment with good self catering facilities. The address is on the main road into town and therefore there was a bit of traffic noise, but not too bad. The walk into, and especially out of town, was a bit testing with lots of steps, but clear of the main road. The alternative would be a short taxi trip or the regular bus service. Just across the road was a resteraunt and there was a supermarket about 50mtr up the road. All in all it was a pleasant couple of days.

We recently stayed at the Bacan apartments and found them to be an excellant holiday home. Everything was spotlessly clean and our balcony was huge where we enjoyed plenty of leisure time. The owner Antun could not be more hospitable as nothing was too much trouble for him. Would reccomend the above apartments for a relaxing holiday.

The people couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Antun, the owner/manager picked me up from the airport himself (only 10 euros) and he had even checked arrival times and was there even though we arrived 1/2 hour early.
When I checked out I wasn't flying until that night but was meeting friends at a local large hotel meantime. Antun dropped me and a friend plus luggage to the hotel free of charge!!

The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was what we expected, clean, and comfortable. On the downside, we would have preferred a balcony but that was the only minor moan about the Bacan. Terrific location, apart from the hills!

We chose this hotel because of the location to airport and also it had good reviews on-line. It was a great hotel, apartment was perfect, clean and well equipped. The location was ideal - 5 minutes form airport. Antun, who owns the apartments is very friendly, and a great help with local knowledge. The apartments are located up a steep hill a short distance from Cavtat. We walked it each day we were there but there is the option of a bus (One stop from Cavtat) or a taxi. I cannot advise the fares.
The bus to and from Dubrovnik stops right outside the apartments and runs about every half and hour.
There is a good supermarket less than 100 metres from the apartments and a family style restaurant almost opposite which serves good food at reasonable prices.
