Loved it. Host was very friendly and helpful. Clean apartment with everything we needed. Swimming with fab views. Not too far from Old Town. 25 minute uber for about €15.

The apartment was in a convenient location and matched the photos in the listing. Check-in went smoothly, though we did need to wait until the set check-in time. The space worked well for a short visit, but just to note—there’s no washing machine or dishwasher, which could be less practical for a longer stay. Overall, it was a pleasant enough place for a quick trip, and the host was easy to communicate with.

Brilliant apartment with great view

Lovely apartments and exactly what we needed and expected. Views were amazing and there is a supermarket and restaurant within walking distance. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating, especially with my pregnant wife. Pool was a decent size and gym was useful (not the most modern but functional).

Beautiful views and host family, really welcoming and helpful with lots of knowledge on the area, especially for us who were first time travelling to Croatia. Quiet social area and 10 minutes driving from nearest shops, restaurants… facilities were very clean and enjoyable to come back to! Amazing alternative when our hotel got cancelled, would stay again!

We had the top apartment that had living space and bedroom with two beds. The most spectacular view you could ever wish for!
There are two restaurants in walking distance (the steak restaurant was excellent) but it is quite a steep walk so would be a struggle for some, bus service is great (number 10)and you can get this to the nearest supermarket, also Cavtat which is a lovely town with lots of lovely restaurants and also goes to Dubrovnik. Best days to go to Dubrovnik are Mondays and Tuesdays when no cruise ships are in and evenings are also much quieter!

The property was modern, clean, and well-maintained. It is located in between Cavtat and Dubrovnik, so the location is good if you dont mind a short drive. I do want to mention that there were was only 1 black out curtain in the bedroom which didnt fully cover the entire window so it is hard to get some good sleep in the morning if you are sensitive to the light. The owner was very nice and polite.

First time trip to Croatia

We have just returned home from a 7 night stay at these apartments. We were a family of 4 (boy 16 & girl 13). The accommodation was perfect for our needs. Very comfortable & clean one bedroom apartment with beautiful views over the Adriatic Sea. The owners were so lovely & helpful including the daughter who helped us with an emergency for our daughter. We will definitely return one day as Croatia is a beautiful country. I would highly recommend a car if staying here as so much to do around and about, although the number 10 bus was excellent in easy walking distance, we were shown the path to take to reach the bus stop without having to walk along the main road as mentioned in previous reviews. The swimming pool was perfect also with great views. It was quiet most of the time so we had it to ourselves. Apartment also very close to airport for easy transfer. Thank you to Maria & family for making us feel so welcome.

Lovely place to stay with a nice cool pool to cool down from the hot sun,very little in the area which means its quiet and the road hasnt adequate walkways so be prepared to bus or taxi to go anywhere.The restaurant across the road is good value but just stick to ordering Pizza.The family are very welcoming and nice but its a quiet place I took a phone call one night from my girlfriend in Ireland and appeared to of woken them so try not to make noise too late,I likely will stay again thanks Antun and family.

Sandito apartments was not close to Dubrovnik but we travelled to and fro via ferry. No problems. It was close to other small places and not so small. Away from the hustle and bustle. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hosts were very friendly but not in your face. Highly recommend.

Family run apartments, close to sea (if you can manage steps), lovely pool. Perfect for quiet break. If you want pubs and nightlife this is not the place for you. I would recommend a hire car if you want freedom of coming and going although there is a bus service on the main road. We did 2 day trips by car, one to Montenegro and the other north to Bosnia (Neum). Popped to Cavtat and Dubrovnik Old City also.
For anyone with mobility issues, this would not be the place to go. Steep climb to restaurant at top of road, lots of steps involved getting to any of the beautiful beaches close by.
My family and I had lovely time and would recommend these apartments.

Our apartment was on the top floor with beautiful views from the balcony. The pool area is very clean and has a lovely shaded area with couches and small bar .
Basic cooking facilities but enough to prepare easy meals. No freezer or washing machine but the apartment is very clean and has comfortable beds.
Anton,Maria and Dianne were very welcoming and lovely warm people.
A car is useful as no nearby shop but a very good bus runs to Cavtat and Dubrovnik every half hour.
We very much enjoyed our time there and would be happy to go back

first time in Croatia, wont be our last. From the moment we arrived we felt like this was our home, anton, maria and their lovely family were so friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our apartment on the second floor of this lovely accommodation, the view took our breath away, 10 x better than you see in the pictures. apartment was immaculate and had every thing you need, aircon was great. Lovely decor. Pool area is stunning, Anton and Maria have done such a great job designing and creating such a wonderful oasis. You can see they are so proud of there achievement. Got up for a wee at 6.30 in the morning and anton was cleaning the pool and maria was busy preparing the pool area for the day ahead. 10 minutes from the airport, no air craft noise, 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik. Great peaceful location to explore from. If you want nightclubbing and lots of noise, do not come here. If you want superb views and relaxation, and lovely hosts, this is a must place to stay. After seeing other reviews of Sandito I had high expectations, and I really want to say that the stay was great, but there were a fair few things that are holding me back. Firstly - no reception desk. This meant when we arrived we were stood at the foot of the stairs until someone spotted us from next door and called the host. It also meant no check out procedure, so in the absence of this we had to leave the key in the door and leave to be able to make our flight. The pool and bar area are gorgeous and modern but the rest of the block is not. There’s apartment out of around 8 that is modern like the photos on the websites. The others are old and traditional, functional but not luxurious. Our tv was broke and the owner let himself in one night without our permission (between 9-12pm too - could have easily had an early night but were out to dinner) to fix. The air con was in the living room so was hard to feel the effects in the bedroom so sleeping got a bit too hot. AC also leaked and was above the TV so had to be turned off intermittently. It also froze and spat out ice if left on for too long. The equipt kitchen wasn’t great - only 2 steak knives, no scissors, no kettle, not much room to prepare anything. Balcony was lovely but not segregated so shared with 2 other apartments. The place was, however, clean which ultimately for a cheap break is all that matters. Location is okay, a bit too isolated as you can’t walk to the bus at night. Would stay in Mlini next time.

Amazing apartment

Fantastic apartment , recently refurbished with a lovely pool and superb views. Anton, Maria and family who own and run the apartments couldn’t have been more welcoming, even taking us to the local supermarket in their car for groceries.

The apartment is just off the main road between Cavtat and Dubrovnik both great places, 5 minutes to the bus stop but it’s a very busy road so we tended to use Uber which were cheap and plentiful.

There is a good restaurant at the top of the road, but little else within easy walking distance, so a car is useful or taxis/Uber. Anton is putting the finishing touches to his bar/snack bar by the pool which will be opening next week which will be a welcome addition.

These are great apartments, fantastic views and incredibly relaxing, but within very easy reach of the beautiful Dubrovnik and bustling Cavtat, great for bars and restaurants and I would highly recommend.

What an absolutely amazing way to end a long European tour - my boyfriend and I had a relaxing, comfortable, and effortless stay at Apartments Sandito. The hosts were warm and welcoming, providing us with a drying rack and corkscrew on request, as well as stories about their travels and overwhelming hospitality. We chose to stay in one of the terrace apartments on the ground floor with a view of the Adriatic and direct access to the pool - it was gorgeous all throughout the day. The pool was clean, and the view was hard to beat. They are also building a new outdoor bar which looks amazing. Additionally there is a small path that leads all the way down to the ocean - there is no beach, but a nice rocky outcropping and a beautiful view. As for the room, we had a working fridge which came in handy, and an A/C unit which worked well. The bathroom was spotless and the shower worked very well. The location - we enjoyed staying outside of the Dubrovnik area, but in retrospect we should have rented a car as the #10 bus did not come very often. It was about a 15 minute ride to the Dubrovnik center, and saved us some money in the long run. (Tip: the return bus leaves from the station right next to the cable car - recommend taking the cable car closer to the end of your day!) There are a few nearby restaurants, but we ended up at Zupcica every night (pretty good!) We also took a lovely 20 min walk over to the beach in Plat and ended up staying there for a full day.

Fantastic Views Relaxing Stay just 9km x Dubrovnik

Approx. 9kms from Dubrovnic. Stunning views and tranquil setting. Regular bus to Dubrovnic available, but the villa is located half way between bus stops. Visitors would very much benefit from having a car as the local shopping/grocery places are a few kilometers away. Our hosts were absolutely woonderful. Very helpful. They drove us twice to the supermarket for supplies free of charge and the airport for 20Euro. The pool / sun-lounge area was fantastic. More umbrellas would be a plus though. The apartment was very spacious with comfortable beds, reasonably modern bathroom, large fridge/freezer, good aircon. The balcony was a huge plus. The few drawbacks would include a very small kitchen, with very limited bench / preparation area. Old TV with no HDMI sockets, with bad location (facing dining table). Availability of some essentials would go a long way eg. hair dryer, chopping board, spatula, sharp kitchen knife, paper towels and working can opener, etc...

Sandito Apartment Amazing view

The host was vey kind and helpful. The place was clean, comfortable and amazing view of the Adriatic sea, the ships sailing by, and sunny most of the time. I recommend Sandito Apartment to anyone wants to relax and enjoy Dubrovnik.

Beautiful views - amazing 'gem' in Croatia

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was spotless with much needed air conditioning & an excellent shower (we stayed in the double room). We had a beautiful sea Terrace with sublime views. The apartments benefit from a brand new outdoor pool which was finished excellently and impeccably clean. Not to mention the unspoilt view of the Adriatic from the pool & lounging area which the family plan to continue to extend for next year.

The apartments are located in Soline which is just literally off the main road on the dalmation coast. There are not many restaurants around but there is a delightful Italian at the top the hill (2 mins walk) which does brilliant food & is also incredibly cheap being outside of the main tourist area. We liked being 'away from it all' but only a short drive to Dubrovnik or Cavtat.

We hired a car which you definitely need if you want to be able to nip to the supermarkets at your leisure. We didn't fancy catching the bus from the busy road (no pavements) in the baking heat. It's an easy drive to Dubrovnik (15 mins) & you can park near the entrance to the old town at Pile Gate for about £5 per hour. Ubers are easily available - always only about 2 mins away from the apartments at any time & we did this a few times to avoid a massive parking charge or when we wanted to go out in the evening - it's about £10 each way from the apartments to Dubrovnik so easy! Highly reccomended for the price & better than staying in central Dubrovnik!

I arrived with my 3 year old daughter following a last minute cancellation from my friend. I was welcomed by the owners daughter Diana. As I didn't have a rented car and closest little shop would have been a long walk with my child, Diana kindly offered to drive me to the supermarket and I managed to buy food enough to last my whole stay. Also, I didn't expect but am very greatful that she took us to the Mlini beach and showed us Dubrovnik. Croatia will now stay in our memories as not only a beautiful and picturesque country but as a place with very welcoming and kind people. I will not forget my first little holiday with my daughter and would love to come back to the same place. Also, as a friendly family they are always their to help, even when I needed to get a taxi back to the airport Diana's husband drove us there for a smaller price.

Balcony Sea Views for a fraction of a cost

We had an awesome stay at Apartment Sandito. It is away from bustle of Old Town which I prefer. Easily accesible by bus or Uber. The big rooms with great sea views plus a kitchen makes a more relaxing stay. Maria the owner was very friendly. Definitely worth the money. I did suggest before I left to have individual hair dryer in the rooms as I had to go and borrow from the owner below but this is an easy fix.The restaurant Zupcica a few meters from the apartment is a must try. Excellent food for the price comparing to the touristy area restaurants.

Special Price for special room

I reserved the room at Apartments Sandito based on a good price compared with other accomodations in the same area. The price was based on a room with less amenities than others in the same building. It was a single room with no kitchen and a small fridge outside on the terrace. There wasn't A/C but the room did have a fan and it was comfortable enough to sleep at night. The money saved could be eventually spent on eating out due to the lack of a kitchen but if you're not planning to make any of your meals then it isn't a problem. The double bed was comfortable, lots of hot water for showering but no English stations on the TV. There's a restaurant at the top of the road and I found the food to be good. The local bus service gets you to Dubrovnilk, the local beach and the shopping mall. If you don't mind walking, there are trails to the beaches on either side of the apartment and the dive shop. A pool is under construction so beaches are the only swimming option for now. Tony is friendly and helpful; his son drove me to the airport for less than a taxi ride. It was a good price for the room but it's important to understand what you're getting for the price. I found it easy to make meals with food I kept in the fridge but if a kitchen is necessary to you, make sure that's what get. Remember to bring a bar of soap too.

Nice apartment close to the sea

The location of the hotel is quite nice if you aren't looking for the hustle and bustle of downtown Dubrovnik. The view of the sea from the hotel is my guess a lot better than what you would get in a hotel downtown for the same price. The rooms were clean and well designed and all the appliances worked great.
When we arrived by taxi we were slightly confused because the landlord wasn't home to greet us, so we had no idea where anything was like where we could buy food for the apartment. Luckily, there was a bistro at the top of the hill but that was it for restaurants in close proximity. Regardless of that, the hotel staff once we saw them were very friendly and helpful and I recommend anyone who wants to travel to Dubrovnik region but likes things a little quieter and more personal to stay here!

Maria was very hospitable and friendly when we arrived. The location is great, as it is not in the Old Town and has more affordable eating options around it. Our room was perfect, and although Maria accidentally gave us a larger room, she let us stay and enjoy our beautiful view. Her and her family were very friendly and helpful when giving advice where to eat, visit etc. Although we were only here for a night we felt very much at home - thanks for a wonderful stay!

Ok apartment but airconditioner did not work

The apartment was ok, old but well maintained. We had everything we needed.

The bad thing is that the airconditioner in our room (room 3) did not work. It only blew very little roomtempered air. It was 34 degrees outside and inside was too hot to sleep at night. After the first night we got an electric fan to put on the floor, and they said that they called the serviceguy but didn't know when we would come. After 4 nights when we leaved the airconditioner still did not work. Thats why i give a low grade.

The view from the terass and the pool was very nice.

15min to Dubrovnik with car. 1min walk to small supermarket.

Free parking was good.

WOW! We stayed for a night and what a view I must say. Loved the balcony and the pool. We could eat dinner and breakfast on the balcony looking at the islands. It is a perfect stay, a bit 15-minute car drive from Dubrovnik but totally worth it.

Nur 10 min mit dem Auto vom Flighafen entfernt, knapp 15 min mit dem auto vor Dubrovnik liegt diese wundervolle Unterkunft. Wirklich tolle moderne Wohnung mit allem Ausgestattet eas man braucht mit direktem Blick zum Meer.

Bra lägenhet

Mestadels bra saker att säga om Sandito. Fin, fräsch lägenhet med det mesta man kan behöva. Fantastisk utsikt från balkongen. Vänlig ägare Maria, och vi fick checka in tidigt. Mycket fint poolområde och ganska nära till flera mysiga stränder. Tog buss eller Uber in till Dubrovniks gamla stad.
Det negativa är att det är en lyhörd byggnad. Hörde ofta grannarna prata sen kvällstid.
Överlag bra boende. Skulle bo här igen!

Keskinkertainen apartementos. Hyvä kulkuyhteys sekä pääkaupunkiin että toiseen päähän kaupunkia. Bussi nro 10 liikennöi hyvin.
Majoitusliikkeen palvelut eivät vastaa mitä ilmoitetaan
. Siivousta ei kertaakaan viikon aikana. Itse otettiin puhtaat pyyhkeet käytävältä.mentiin lauantaina ja wc paperia tuli vasta keskiviikkona. Oli itse sitäkin ostettava. Mitään ilmaisia kylpytuotteitta ei ollut. Ei mahdollisuutta ruuan laittoon. Huoneessa oli vain vedenkeitin ja jääkaappi ulkona terassilla.

Toller Urlaub in Kroatien!

Nice quiet place with excelent views

Fantastic apartment having excellent views kept by lovely hosts Maria and Anton. Well located between Cavtat and Dubrovnik. There is a few nice beaches within a walking distance. Sandito has its own swimming pool with a bar area next to it which is very nice.

Appartamento superpanoramico.

Appartamento molto spazioso (anche il bagno), vista mare. A metà strada fra Dubrovnik (meglio andarci con il pullman di linea) e l'aeroporto.

Small room wonderfull location

El hotel estaba en un lugar estupendo a 10 min en coche de dubrovnik y a 5 min caminando del bus.
La habitación era pequeña pero tenia lo basico cama enorme, armsrio y un baño. Ademas de una terraza preciosa que daba a la piscina y a la playa.
La única pega por poner alguna es que sobretodo el baño habia alguna telaraña en el techo y la cadena del agua se atascaba a veces.
