What a dreamy stay. Absolutely stunning and very quaint boutique hotel, never felt overly crowded. The grounds,pools and rooms are gorgeous. And the food and drinks are wonderful, the provided breakfast was better than imagined. Location is great, everything is less than a 10 min drive away with plenty near by.

This was our second visit, and it didn't disappoint. We arrived to a delicious sangria welcome drink. The property was well cared for and spotlessly clean, as was our room. The swimming pool was lovely and warm. The breakfast buffet was varied and high quality, and the cookies and milk were a cozy treat before bed each night. We would certainly stay at Villa Royale again.

The staff was great, the room was stylish and comfortable, and the pools were welcoming. Not the overly large, sterile kind you find in many hotels. The bedroom part of the suite was pretty quiet, but the living area not so much while customers were dining. Also, kept missing the morning breakfast and evening dessert. Gorgeous ambiance. Food at Del Rey is overrated. Mattress wasn’t so great and had difficulty sleeping. Sheets had a funny odor. Bathroom was extremely small but otherwise the entire room is charming. Nicely sized and heated pool. Room service fee is really high at 23%.

The Villa Royale struck the right balance between luxurious and relaxed. I absolutely loved the layout of the property, a serious of interconnected atriums leading to charming courtyards or pools. We’ve always wanted to stay at the Villa Royale after we stumbled upon the hotel when we visited their restaurant Del Rey a couple years ago. We had the opportunity to stay here last weekend and had the best weekend ever. We were greeted with friendly faces, complementary drinks, and a room upgrade, which was an amazing way to kick of a birthday weekend. We loved our spacious room and the fact that the hotel itself was adults. Only the poolside drinks and food were awesome and a great addition to have while we were relaxing. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Developed in 1947, it has a elegant feel while still being modern in design and facilities. A nice pool surrounded by the rooms and a second quieter pool and hot tub (very hot!) in the grounds. Wasn't sure what to expect, but it was exceptional from the moment we walked into the lobby. We were greeted with a smile and they upgraded us, we didn't even have to ask! Offered us a welcome drink, which was not expected at all and gave very detailed information about the hotel and how to get to our room. I will certainly re-book on my next trip to Palm Springs.
