The hotel is being remodeled. Elevators are being used as freight elevators. Woke up to the sounds of work being done just outside my room. The front desk was literally a table set up inside the main door. Thermostat for the room didn't work. The person who checked me in was very nice and helpful. I feel like $133 for a few hours of sleep is outrageous considering i woke up in tge middle of a job site.

Everything was ok. We had a problem with the TV remote which is a fairly small thing but because it happened at night, the front desk had no backup to help them and if it had been a bigger problem we would not have gotten service to repair the problem. Also the toilet ran continuously at times and if it had done it at night, then we would not have been able to get it fixed and had to listen to it all night.

Me and my wife’s stay at The Hampton Inn was great. The lady working behind the desk was very friendly when we checked in. She even baked chocolate chip cookies for the people checking in which were delicious. Our room was very nice and very clean. Everything was stocked up in the bathroom. The bathroom was big. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were amazing. We stayed 2 days. The buffet breakfast each day was different but delicious. The person working in there was very nice ad friendly. We had the balcony view which was beautiful. I recommend this place for sure.

This is a nice hotel, great location but our room was not cleaned/serviced even though other rooms were cleaned. When I raised this with the front desk, we were told the cleaners had “just departed”. We’ve stayed here before and our room was serviced then.

Hamptons always have good beds and are relatively clean, even when they are old. However clean, this Hampton just was dingy, the worst I’ve been in. The carpets were stained, the bathroom vanity was very worn and chipped, the shower yellowed, and the chair in the room looked like a chair in your 80 year old grandpas house which stains on the arms. Old and dingy is really the only way to describe.

No water avalible to purchase or offered to us, even as honors members. The breakfast was sad. This place was hopping though! Very dirty the carpet in the hallway going to the room was nasty. It should’ve been replaced five years ago. The fixtures in the bathroom had like mold on them where they touch the wall. It was just not clean overall and I felt like where I had to park. My car was a very unsafe place and if I had had to go back to my car at night I would’ve been afraid. The air conditioner or something in that room made a terrible noise all night. The carpet in the room was dirty. It just did not look clean. I was not satisfied at all. It was not up to what I thought. A Hampton Inn should’ve been.

Everything like the microwave, tv, cable tv , and frig were on the same outlet and a multi-outlet. It tripped when we ran the microwave and I had to reset it by reaching behind the television. There are no usb ports at all in the room so you better bring a charger that can plug into the wall. Coffee maker was missing a part so I had to go to lobby and get cold coffee to heat in microwave. We also had to wait 40 minutes almost to check in even though our checkin time was past so we had to wait in the breakfast area with our suitcases. The toilet would not flush properly either so I had to go the the lobby public toilet to use the bathroom as well. There was so much wrong here for the price I had to pay that I would not ever go here again. The location is good but that's about it.

But softer than some other hotels. All the hotels have gone to these uncomfortable FIRM mattresses because the last longer. Everything else was good.

Breakfast had a variety of options, Monday bfast my fav, they finally had bacon! Room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, with the view of Mobile bay! And close to everything! The place is good, average breakfast, beds are good. I had a few problems, like: - I did the check-in online (Hilton Honors) including choosing a room and when I arrived the front desk just change the room and put me in a different one without even telling me why she did that (I definitely didn't like that at all). Next morning I was filling my big jug of water, and the lady didn't let me do it, saying that I had to use the small cups to fill it up. Just to be clear, it's an igloo 1 gallon jug with an opening of 6 inches to put water, so would no touch the dispenser at all in case that was her concern.
The showerhead was broken - I couldn't adjust the water flow. I had to settle for a poor water flow. I'm not sure if I would recommend, though!
