This hotel needs a refresh the decking areas were hazardous to say the least also lack of electrical points in room WiFi was hit and miss, lack of amenities overall. Staff were friendly and helpful great location for Cassis but be warned the hills are a killer!

A wonderfully comfortable stay!

Our stay at Les Jardins de Cassis was nothing short of wonderful! Parking was available upon arrival, check in was a breeze, and our room was lovely. Very comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom - shower pressure was excellent! We really enjoyed our time by the pool and the centre-ville was just a short walk away.

Great location! Easy walk or drive down into town but also right around the corner from hotel is a great market with amazing produce, a bakery, and pizza shop! The pool at the hotel was so clean and refreshing (as we were there during extreme heat wave) keep in mind there's no shallow end...very very deep pool.
Staff at front desk was very nice. We stayed in family apartment and had kitchen and A/C which was awesome! Def would stay here again!

We were encouraged to consider Cassis as a destination while on our coastal European adventure during our multi-country vacation.

Upon researching places to stay, Les Jardins de Cassis stood out of the crowd. While learning about the area, Cassis is a small, quaint, port town with tight, crowded streets, a lot of people (tourists and locals) and VERY limited parking.

There are many stay options available that vary from high-end, cliff-side boutique to less than spectacular, port-side … if either of these types of environments suits your fancy, you wouldn’t be disappointed with what this place has to offer.

With that being said, Les Jardins de Cassis provides both of those vibes and was an ideal choice for us as it provided all we were looking for. Although outdated in style, rooms are small but offer the peace and quiet that suited our needs. The venue is rich with amenities - the pool and sauna take the cake - and the morning breakfasts are amazing. The wonderful staff makes your stay worthwhile as they were available all hours if needed.

Away from the town (which is what we preferred), we were able to enjoy being away from the busy-ness and still enjoy the rural setting of the French countryside.

We would definitely stay again on our next return to southern France.

A fairly priced and comfortable .7 mile stay from Cassis town center. The rooms are comfortable - small-ish but clean with a comfortable bed. Having a pool close to the rooms is nice and having a refreshment bar close by makes the stay much more relaxed.

Lovely friendly staff. Very easy to find. Parking good. Very quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. En-suite was great. Garden was very well kept. Didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that. Did have coffees and a glass of wine and beer. Decent price. Easy walk into Cassis so no problem with parking there. Easy to get to Marseilles and The Calanque. A beautiful area. No complaints.

The pool area was nice but I’m not sure the pool was heated as it was quite cold. Location wasn’t great as there’s quite a slope from the village. Didn’t feel the hotel was good value for money.

Poolside area and other outdoor seating very pleasant and restful.
Room was quite small, but the brilliant air-conditioning made it a super retreat from the heat of the day.
Hotel is walking distance from the town centre and port, but the hill is steep. Fine going down; quite tough coming back up.

Extremely clean with regular servicing. Beware a very deep pool with no shallow end. Jacuzzi and sauna separate and difficult to access. Room simple but adequate, only one cane chair. Reception OK but multi-tasking meant frequent waits. Requested checkout evening before as early train. Told this ‘did not fit the system’ but glad we insisted as the high gates were locked when we left at 6 am. It took some time to raise staff to let us out as no one at Reception.

This was definitely NOT a 4 star hotel!

Room was shabby for the price! I paid 253 euros which is approx $375 CAD for 1 night! The safe didn't work. I was told they could fix it in the morning which was useless to me. I asked for extra pillows. The guy on night shift didnt have a key to the extra linens. The door was not properly reinforced. It looked like it had been forced open previously. Save your money for a nicer place in Cassis!

The hotel staff could be more friendly and helpful. They weren't really accommodating or responsive when we asked for information. We had to be proactive and ask. If you have a car, it is difficult to find - they said the GPS doesn't really help which isn't helpful if you're arriving by car. The hotel is quite large so if you think this is a charming little hotel, it's not. The pool is lovely but it is quite dangerous as the chairs are literally right at the edge of the pool making it near impossible to walk around. Our room was fine - modern but the fact they didn't have breakfast included (and what they charged was overpriced) was a big negative.

Lovely hotel with beautiful pool and garden and helpful staff. Not a large hotel. Very peaceful. A short walk into Cassis but longer walk back (some people might find the walk back steep / hard going). Would definitely choose to stay there again for a relaxing holiday in a lovely Provencale location near beautiful Cassis and parc nationale des calanques. We didn't eat there so can't comment on that.

Of all the places we stayed in during our quick trip down in the French Riviera...this hotel was our FAVORITE. We love the community of Cassis. This hotel was super cute! We wished we could have gotten there before the hot tub had closed (super cute)... both clerks, night & morning were super friendly! We walked about 20 min down to the town to eat.. the latest restaurant (La Stazione) had great food, but not the best service.
We spent some time down in Cassis the next morning & loved the vibe there.
Wi-Fi was great at the hotel. Parking. CUTE place, lots of character!

3 Star Hotel in Cassis

We stayed for 4 nights. The room was very basis for the price with hardly any storage space which meant most of our clothes had to stay in the our cases. The room was however very clean and the beds comfortable.The hotel is on the outskirts of Cassis and close to a main road but the hotel was very quite. The walk into Cassis takes about 15 minutes and its all down hill coming back however is not easy as the hills are quite steep. We are senior citizens and quite fit but we only tempted the walk once we then took the rental car down the rest of the time. With parking being quite expensive this added and additional cost that we did not appreciate. The only other thing we find odd was the grassed areas were artificial plastic grass.

I feel bad about this, but I have to say that we would never stay in this hotel again. First, the location is not good. There is a lot of noise--trucks and construction. We had a car, but had to walk into town and take a taxi back, as the parking in town is limited. But the key system alone is enough to discourage us from returning. Everyone we saw had difficulty with this, with one couple almost missing their dinner reservation, having to wait until the busy clerk had time to assist them. Breakfast was good, but quite expensive.

If you're willing to walk to the village center, 20 min and hilly, this is the place! Easy to find with secure parking on site. It was quiet with friendly and helpful staff who speak english. Good value breakfast on site and although we didn't use it a very inviting pool.

Relaxing stay at Les Jardins des Cassis

A friend and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in August. We had a nice room overlooking the pool. The pool area is lovely with nice wide decking, pretty plants and a large pool. Although there are quite a few sun loungers, a few more would be a good idea as other guests were frequently waiting for them to become available. The room was a good size and spotless. A second pillow on the bed would be a nice touch as would a fridge. We only had breakfast at the hotel on one morning. It was generous and reasonable value. The hotel is about a 15 min walk from the centre of Cassis. It is a bit of an uphill climb on the way back - but this didn't bother us at all. Overall, I would happily recommend the hotel for a relaxing stay in Cassis.

This is a real 2* hotels, with nice pool area, but rooms are far from 3* or more. To avoid room #4, no sun and/or any pleasing points, you need a light in room during all time. 14 euro per person for breakfast is just not worth of offer, and almost 800 Euro for 2pax 4 nights not really a great value deal. When full capacity attained, you have impression of over-crowded. Position slightly at the city limit, serious walking to take in consideration unless you intend to use a car, what would be pity in such beautiful environment.

Twenty minutes in to town.......

The walk into Cassis takes 20 minutes. This is fine on the way into town because it's downhill but it is hard work on the way back. We knew this from the reviews we read prior to booking and decided to take the plunge. The reality in the harsh heat of 38 degrees was something completely different! If you have a car with you it's easier to use one of the carparks just on the edge of the shopping thoroughfare and that makes the location of the hotel bearable .

The room we were allocated on arrival was quite shockingly poor. The air-conditioning wasn't working properly. The view from the window was of a wall! I suspect it was probably the worst room in the entire property. We alerted the management to the fact that the air-conditioning wasn't working and that there was no remote control for it. The manager came to assess the problem and said he would be back. And hour and a half later after we had waited (and wasted part of an evening) we went back to reception. The manager said he thought that his colleague had telephoned us to say there was no remote control to the air conditioning and apologised for the fact that we hadn't received a phone call.
After a difficult start things to get better. The following day we were allocated a new room with an air conditioning unit that worked exceptionally well. There was a small terrace area to sit out if one wished .
The room had a satellite television, sadly none of the many channels were in English.

Cozy hotel only 10 min walk to the old harbour

This wonderful hotel is so close to all the restaurants, old harbour, markets etc. it's also a half hour walk to the first Calanques. We will definitely come back one day! Breakfast is delicious and can be eaten on their little patio.

A nice property but almost like camping

There is no restaurant on property. The \"bar\" is a shelf of alcohol in the breakfast building which is locked and can only be accessed by the front desk clerk after you call them and place your order. Then I guess you sit in your room and drink what they bring you?

The internet was down and there was no sense of urgency to fix it. I asked where the ice maker was and told it was broken....so no ice to keep your drinks cold. And despite the fact that the website clearly states that breakfast is served until 10:30am, it was packed up at 9:55am and people were being rushed out. I also woke up in the morning to hundreds of ants parading across the wall and down the floor.

It's a cute little property and the pool area is very, very nice. It is in a good location in the beautiful town of Cassis. The gentleman who works at the front desk was pleasant and very helpful but the women working there were rather rude. The amenities that were advertised were either not as promised or simply did not exist. I checked out early and honestly don't think I would visit this property again.

We stayed over Easter and the hotel was blissful. The area around the pool is perfect for relaxing after a day walking the Calanques - lots of Sun but not a lot of noise and plenty of loungers/chairs. The walk into town was fine and particularly useful after a large meal in town to use up some calories. There is plenty of parking at the hotel and all the staff were excellent. We only breakfasted once as you can get a better breakfast in town for half the price. All in all an excellent hotel which we would definitely recommend to friends.

When our train to Cassis arrived 2 hours late, the staff went above and beyond to help us get to the hotel. This was extremely appreciated since it was about midnight by the time our train arrived in Cassis. There is no bus service or taxis that run that late and we weren't sure how to get to the hotel. So thank you so much staff at Les Jardins de Cassis! I would recommend this hotel 100% to family and friends. And hope to stay there again in the near future.

Der Aufenthalt hatte leider mehrere enttäuschende Aspekte. Bereits beim Check-in wirkte die Rezeptionistin etwas arrogant und wenig bemüht, einen freundlichen Empfang zu gestalten – kein idealer Start in den Urlaub. Im Gegensatz dazu war Eric, ein anderer Rezeptionist, deutlich freundlicher und zuvorkommender. Seine hilfsbereite Art hat den Gesamteindruck etwas verbessert.

Trotz vorhandener Schwimmanlage waren keine Handtücher verfügbar. Stattdessen wurden überteuerte Strandunterlagen zum Kauf angeboten – ein fragwürdiger Service für ein Hotel mit Pool.

Die Seife und das Duschgel im Badezimmer waren bereits nach zwei Tagen leer. Obwohl täglich gereinigt wurde, wurden diese grundlegenden Hygieneartikel nicht nachgefüllt. Das zeigt mangelnde Aufmerksamkeit gegenüber den Gästen.

Auch die Getränkepreise waren unangemessen hoch. Besonders negativ fiel mir der Cappuccino aus dem Kaffeeautomaten auf: Für 4 Euro erhielt ich ein extrem süßes Getränk, das geschmacklich eher an ein Instant-3-in-1-Pulver erinnerte als an echten Kaffee.

Sehr gutes Frühstück, gute Anbindung an den Ort, tolle Umgebung. Nettes Personal. großer Pool ----- Schlechter Schließmechanis der Zimmertüren, Zuwenig Sonnenschirme am Pool, Bodenbelag/Dielen hervorstehend, sodass ich arg gestürzt bin. ---- Wir haben uns trotzdem wohl gefühlt.

Tive uma experiência incrível. A pousada está localizada logo na entrada da cidade e o quarto que fiquei tinha uma vista linda.
A suíte era muito confortável e limpa, o café da manhã era bastante completo e o atendimento de todos foi excelente.

Un hôtel bien situé, facile d’accès, la réceptionniste agréable nous a conseillée quelques adresses, toutefois la piscine n’est pas chauffée malgré qu’on nous le précise des nôtres arrivé. Je pense que cet hôtel est réservé à une certaine clientèle, nous nous sommes sentis mal à l’aise. Les chambres étaient bruyantes le soir.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room we had was outdated and a bit small. Bathroom really needs an update. Toilet leaked and there was mold all around the shower. Daily cleaning was up to par. Swimming pool is nice, but bit outdated, and you can order a drink and food at the reception. We didn’t use the breakfast.

This hotel is on top of the hill and a ten minute walk to the center of cassis. There’s a bakery and wine tasting on walking distance. Parking is limited.

I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Les points positifs la chambre trés spacieuse avec une grande salle de bain ,la propreté des lieux, les petits dejeuner copieux ,la gentillesse des dames presentent a l'accueuil les 2 premiers jours très reactives à nos demande et malgré le fait qu'elles soient seules à gerer les arrivées, le service des boissons en terrasses et le telphone bravo a elles , le calme la nuit pour se reposer .
Les ponts faibles les bornes electriques qui ne fonctionnent pas tjr et de plus des vehicules non électriques garés sur ces emplacement donc pas cool . Notre recherche dhotel ayant ete orientée par rapport à cela cest loupé heureusement nous avons trouver dans la ville de cassis des chargeur mais bcp moins rapide hélas donc le 1er soir nous avons du rester a l'hotel pour ne pas gaspiller notre batterie pour la ballade du lendemain. Bornes réparées le 3 eme jour ,jour de notre depart ...

Agréable séjour dans un hôtel de qualité avec une très belle piscine. Ils n'ont pas hésité à nous changer de chambre, car nous trouvions la 1ʳᵉ trop petite. L'ensemble du personnel est agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. L'emplacement de l'hôtel permet (si on aime la marche à pied) de se rendre facilement en ville (attention au retour ça grimpa...) et sinon une navette n'est pas trop loin
