Staff was nice at check in. The heater is not big enough for the room and the heat was not on at all when I arrived so the room was really cold. The plywood on the window of the bathroom with the fan makes it really cold in the bathroom and makes a breeze. The floor was dirty. The sink wasn't draining when I arrived. The shower was warm at best.

We stayed 3 nights here and what a big mistake. The motel is old and smelly, everything is like 1980’s furniture, deco and linens. The bathroom is so outdated and cheap with the exhaust fan sticking out of the window. The walls are thin, you can hear the people in the next room talking, and flushing the toilet and showering. My sister and her husband were staying right below my room on the first floor, when we showered, water would leaks to the bathroom in her room, there are water bubbles in the ceiling. The office rep said it may be some leaks from the pipes behind the wall. I would’ve leave but we already paid full and it’s non refundable.
The only good thing about this motel is the location, it’s close to many restaurants and parks. This may be a okay place to stay for one night if you don’t mind smelly old room.

The staff was friendly. The room was clean enough, on first glance. When going to shower, the metal trim at the base of the door fell off. I got a minor cut from it. The trim piece had been repaired in the past with caulk. It was just covered in slimey mold, I mean nasty dirty. There was no tub just a tiny shower. The shower was so small you could barely bend over to clean your feet. The bathroom with no heat was just tiny, no place for toiletries. Granted, my trip was on a budget, this room was $50 more than a much nicer room at a motel I stayed at the night before. We definitely won't be back.

When we arrived past 3PM which was official check in time the room wasn’t ready when my husband asked if we could leave our things in the room the lady said no because the room is unlock. Apparently cleaning hasn’t even started. She did gave us a different room after we asked if there’s another room. Also some towels didn’t look it got a good washing.

Housekeeping was the nicest group of people ever. And Kaylee with her dog Anubis was especially great as I was missing my pets and she and her dog were so nice. Room was very clean. But the bathroom exhaust was an after thought, the shower was hardly big enough to turn in with the shower head in an awkward spot, and a fan I could put in the window for AC. Location great. Not overly noisy. Ramp was nice with heavy suitcase. Parking ok.

Was close to the downtown strip and the wharf, just a short walk or car ride away from most of the shops. The balcony does get loud when people walk on it. Pretty spacious parking and a ramp for accessibility

Room is old. Bathr rough with hole in shower fixture and roughly reaired moldings. Windows on st gloor room left unocked. Two pictures on wall identical which is pretty tacky. No closet. Just a bar on wall with hangers. Overall, pretty cheap.

Walls are paper thin and if you're on the first floor, any movement on the second floor is clearly heard.
Also, most of the time, there was an odd sound coming from the fridge that was kind of annoying.
It's definitely an old motel that has not been well maintained, and pretty expensive for what you get, but it is a great location and met our needs for quick access to that City pier area and the downtown.

We traveled to the rain forest and only had a night here. It had a comfortable bed, was fairly quiet but a lot of traffic noise. We were in the 2nd floor and appreciated a ramp to pull our luggage up. No breakfast available. Very tight parking.

Chose this motel for its walkability to downtown, which ended up working fine. It's a bit of an uphill coming back, but it wasn't really a problem for us. When we arrived to check-in, we found they had upgraded us to their King Suite, which was really appreciated. The room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. There was an A/C unit in the room that really helped keep it cool. The pillows are a bit flat, so bring your own pillow if that's an issue for you. I did, and I slept a bit better for it. We could hear the cars go by, but we were back a bit from the road, so it wasn't too bad at all. All in all, a great stay for one night and we'd stay there again.

We stayed four nights. This motel is in need of serious updating. It’s right in a main road and we kept the window air conditioner on to block the traffic noise. That caused us to be freezing all night. The hair dryer was broken, but when I asked I received a replacement. The shower was soooo small. A large person would have trouble fitting in. The price was definitely not worth it. The one saving grace was that the staff was nice and helpful.

All great except for lousy WiFi

This is an older establishment but it's well-maintained and somewhat updated. Service at front desk was terrific, and we slept well here. Only problem was godawful Internet connection. It was extremely slow, and often completely non-existent. We weren't trying to stream videos; just retrieving email and making online reservations. Often had to resort to using my phone's Hot Spot feature for my PC, and the Verizon service in Port Angeles wasn't wonderful, either. Not a good place to stay if you need to do any business from your room.

Great location. Decent price. Didnt need big or fancy for our baseball tournament trip. It was small but clean and relatively quiet. Worked for us and our needs but we were good with low key. Walkable distance to memorial park one direction and the warf/pier the other.

Dust bunnies behind every piece of furniture (which was all mismatched, look like yard sale stuff) exhaust fan for the bathroom was not wired properly (have pics) mat for the shower stall was very dirty! (Have pics)I wouldn’t even touch it. Shower stall was ridiculously tiny and I’m 4’10”. Price was totally ridiculous for the room. No air conditioner, just a tower fan. Also the railing for the second floor walkway spacing looked big enough for a child to get through. Would NOT recommend!

Fix broken issues

Hair dryer did not work. Got another and the on/off plastic button missing. Got another blow dryer...turns out the outlet in bath not working. I felt like it was an imposition for the woman at the front desk to get me a dryer. The toilet is loose..needs to be bolted tighter. This is basic stuff. They need to check each room for issues. Instead they just rent them over and over. I will not return.

My only complaint was that the plumbing from the adjoining rooms was unusually loud. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay at a nice, quiet motel a ten minute walk from historic downtown Port Angeles.

Wifi was good; water pressure was good; plenty of parking. When I am staying somewhere for one night those are the three things that I am looking for and I was not disappointed.

We booked this hotel to go to crab festival in Oct. Great location, walkable. It is a motel so our expectation was not high. It is good location for us. However, until we found out garbage under beds and behind the chair. This is bad cos they can definitely clean it but did not pay attention. Told the manager to improve. Please at least do the basic cleaning work.

Property has a few flaws. Parking is not easy to navigate. At one point, our vehicle was boxed in and we had to do weird maneuvers to get out. The shower was clean but, water pressure wasn’t the best and the hot water lasted less than 8 minutes. Sleeping at night was a little difficult because you can hear every car that drives down the road and if you have noisy neighbors, you’re gonna hear them too. Overall, for the price and what it comes with, it was a good stay. Everything was very clean except our floors and as two traveling females, we didn’t feel unsafe at any point during our stay. Staff was friendly.
