This was our first time staying here and we were pretty impressed. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of yummy items to choose from. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The only issues I had was the mini fridge in the room not being cold (no way to change the temp) and the parking around the hotel. There were only a few spots under the detached hotel building, and the rest were up for grabs on the street, and those filled up quick if you weren't there early enough.
Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and will most likely stay here again when we come back next year!

Location and clean rooms, breakfast area is way too small for the amount of rooms and gets crowded fast. But room was nice and breakfast was good.

This hotel tried to book us twice. We had two rooms booked and paid for with Hotels.com and yet when we checked in the front desk needed to charge us again.
This then took research to our CC bills and numerous conversations with the Hotel to get a refund.
No reason to charge any guest twice.
This is poor management - beware

The room was musky, the carpet was torn, dogs have peed on that carpet. The breakfast, especially the coffee, was terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great location.
View of the harbor through some of the many windows.
Well equipped room with kitchen and separate bedroom.
Fairly clean.
Adequate breakfast for the price.

I don't like the carpet.
Living room could use some clothes hangers.
The mini fridge doesn't have a freezer.

The rooms are not brand new but everything worked well. The bed was firm but comfy. Nice size bathroom.
The walk ways, parking and public areas were well maintained and parking was easy. Breakfast was good. There was scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy. Lots of toast and miuffin selection, yogurt and oatmeal.
I would stay here again.

Ive lived in PA for 3 years and didnt even know we had this hotel until I moved away. So impressed with the upkeep as many local hotels are run down. Thank God I was not embarrassed bringing a friend there to show off the town. THANK YOU!!

I didnt think paying the extra money for this hotel was worth the convenience of location to Crabfest. The room looked clean and was well furnished. The moldy smell in the room was horrible. I was very disappointed.

Because buildings are older or by the ocean, they get a smell. Some type of deodorizer would be nice

Disappointed

Stayed here for the night and the booking was definitely misleading. I ended up in the last room available. The advertising showed this cozy room, some updates, looked clean and had space...what I got stunk, hair in the sink, stained bed spread. I heard everyone around like they were in the same room. And the fridge made the mosf awful sounds all night long. I was definitely disappointed with what I paid for vs what I got.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was hot and plentiful with enough choices. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We were very happy with our stay. Our building had parking right underneath the building. It was a quiet neighborhood with quick access to a staircase down the hill leading to the downtown area .

The room was a basic room for a stay close to a national park. It was clean and a good enough stay just for sleeping and showering before going out for more exploring. The location was very convenient for getting to the park.

Good stay

Quiet hotel just a short walk down steep steps to restaurants, water.
Air conditioner was in bathroom, not living room, so a little stuffy, and cycled on and off through the night. Breakfast ok, small dining area for guests.
