The room had just been cleaned but the smell of the cleaning chemicals was so fragrant we couldn’t even be in there. Had to leave the door and window wide open to try to air it out.
The beds, pillows and bedding seem dated and weren’t the most comfortable.
Woke up to no power and had to get ready and packed in the dark.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, the 2 king beds accommodated our family or 5. The view out to the mountains in the front and of the water on the other side was amazing! The fridge and microwave were very useful. Really good location close to the pier amd shopping!

Location is all this motel has going for it. You arrive to your room once you get over the weird odor that smacks you in the face you will notice everything is chipped cracked or in some other state of disrepair. Our room did not have a window that opened so it was stagnant however they did provide a fan. A window that opened would have probably solved the strange odor problem. The bed was bad enough I wish I had gone back to sleeping on the ground in Olympic Park.

The location was very convenient but for the price I paid I would expect much better accommodations. It was clean enough for the night but I wouldn’t say it was clean overall.

Most amenities are quite out of date. They are clean but there is a level of smell of mold, depending on your tolerance. No window could be open so even with a fan inside the room, you cannot get the smell out. Again, really basic and ok room for budget reason but if you can, try get a better hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Flagstone Motel. We had a spacious, clean room with all the amenities like refrigerator, microwave, fans, good cable TV and soon to be AC (they were installing it as we left). Easy access to the main part of town as well. There is road noise but hey, we were in the heart of the town. Close to great restaurants and transit center with buses running hourly up to Hurricane Ridge. The Wharf center as well as the Black Ball Ferry Line are all right there. A great place to stay.

* The photos shown on Expedia might have been enhanced, do not look like the actual real room. The photos look like a new place, the reality is that it is an old motel with bare minimum maintenance and upgrade of furniture, appliances, etc.
* Noisy street.
* Old TV we could not use our Netflix account or at least use the DirectTV Guidelist.
* The smell was bad when you do not use the AC or fan.
Bottomline, the ad sells something that it is not real.

The motel isn’t much to look at in my opinion, but I’m taking the time to comment because I was incredibly pleased with the room. Very clean, great linen, all very impeccable. If you’re looking to save money but absolutely require cleanliness, this is a great choice.

It's an older motel, but it has two king beds! Everything seems easy, convenient to get to, check-in was easy, parking is easy to find. We stayed there so that we could catch the ferry early enough, and we did it! It's a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal.

Our room was very clean but otherwise basic. My partner didn't like the mattress . Noise insulation is very lacking . Also, no key cards buy actual keys

We have a good size room, air con and sir filter is a plus, and I like the sink been separated with the bath room.
The only thing I do not like is the old bed sheets, think it should be replaced.

We had a great parking spot anf the check in was awesome. The room however was not so great. Themicrowave was dirty. The shower head was missing and you got blasted with water that hurt, my towel had a hole in it.
The floors were not clean and the fridge had not been defrosted making the freezer section unusable. Won't ever stay there again.

A great hotel very close to downtown and many restaurants, dining and shopping opportunities. It has heat and fans, but no a/c to counter the humidity. The beds are comfortable and the shower decent. Couldn't get the WiFi to connect on any device or computer (they had many options to try, but no luck) and cell data spotty in the rooms.

My experience at this motel was far below expectations. The room lacked any real ventilation, leaving it stuffy and unpleasant throughout the stay. Basic cleanliness was also an issue, as trash was never picked up. On top of that, multiple appliances were broken and repeatedly caused the circuit to trip, leaving the room without power. Despite reporting these issues, the property staff offered little to no assistance and seemed uninterested in resolving the problems. Overall, the service and conditions were unacceptable.

The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. The property is older but our room was updated and comfortable. It was an affordable, convenient place to stay for the night before catching the ferry to Victoria. They let us park our car there for the day. I wish there had been a hair dryer in the room. They may have had one available but I didn't take time to ask.

Staff was friendly over the phone and accommodated my need for a late check in. The motel room worked for what a needed, a safe place to sleep and shower for a night. The traffic noise in the morning was irritating though and I could hear a neighbor washing up in the shower in another room when I was still trying to sleep.

Simple and adequate.

Simple, adequate little motel….next to a very noisy main road. It was clean, and warm…..but overpriced ($166 for a night) for what it offered. The gal at the front desk was very nice and check in was easy, as was checking out. The room had a small fridge, and a microwave.

Rooms were dated. Bed was uncomfortable and lack of pillows. Gaps under door which allows light in at night. Pictures need to be updated to give real views of what place looks like.

Close to downtown, the ferry terminal, and restaurants, but there were a surplus of crumbs under the bed as well as hairs on the mattress protector under the sheet.

The sheets/blankets/pillow cases looked clean, but the crumbs and hairs did not inspire confidence of overall cleanliness. A decent crashpad for Olympic National Park or a day trip to Victoria if you need somewhere to sleep at night and that's it, but you get what you pay for.

Was an older motel for mostly traveling workers. Comfortable bed and friendly service. Early morning noise from departing work vehicle. Otherwise a comfortable if not outstanding stay

For the price the room was big and spacious. Clean, seemed like there have been some things upgraded. Very convenient for exploring Olympic national park while also being close to dining options and things to do in a bigger town. I would definitely stay here again.

The overall stay was great. I think that my only issue was that the rooms themselves were a little dated and could use a fresh coat of paint, updated lighting, windows that open, etc. not having fresh air circulation made the room smell stale.

We also didn’t have a shower head which I thought was odd. The shower worked fine, but it was a pretty heavy pressure stream of water that was not adjustable.

Expensive & noisy & dirty, but good location

Very close to the main road & noisy.
My wife wanted to have a bath, but there wasn’t a plug. So I went to reception to ask for one & was told there was a problem with insurance & room flooding so no plugs.
The room was also a bit dirty & definitely not worth the $130 / night.
Only redeeming points are that it’s within walking distance of port angeles & that it’s free parking.

Easy to find and access. Easy check in. Clean room. Within walking distance to BC ferry (about 4 blocks). No AC, but good ventilation and good fans were already provided, so we slept well. In Port Angeles, the late-August temperature is in the 60s in afternoon and evening. Well-kept motel.

If you can, please avoid this property. We had originally booked two nights but changed it to one a week before our stay, and I’m so glad we did. We initially booked for two nights but cut it down to one in advance, and I’m so glad we did. This place is extremely outdated—the so-called “renovation” seemed to be nothing more than new flooring. The walls had a hole, the bathroom felt cramped and poorly maintained, the bed skirt was torn, and overall the place appeared neglected.

Sleeping was nearly impossible. Seagulls squawked loudly throughout the night, and to make matters worse, when someone in the next room decided to take a bath at midnight, we could clearly hear the water running through the walls. Definitely not a restful experience.

Flagstone was nice. However the bed was old… felt like a spring was gonna come through the bed and straight into the back. Pillows were flat. No A/C but they do provide a fan to run, which was nice. Overall was not a bad stay and would stay again.
