Location is good, close to the beach. But the room condition is bad, like bathroom vent is not assembled properly on the ceiling, shower is almost right above toilet, door is not closed properly as giving too much noise at night…

There was no location noted as office. When we went to check in, we only found the cleaning lady. She helped us - if this review is based on her kindness and helpfulness I would give a 5. The place was clean when we checked out, I couldn’t find anyone. I messaged the manager and he didn’t respond for an hour.

The property was in a convenient location for the beach and bus station. The apartment itself was less than expected. It had the bare minimum needed, but that's it. No lock on the door or ventilation in the bathroom. The check in experience was not pleasant as we waited till 4:30 for our room to be ready when check in was supposed to be available at 2pm.

If we ever come back to Santorini we will definitely be staying here again. The distance to the beach was amazing and it’s such a slow paced area. Never overcrowded but lots of shopping and wonderful food. We LOVED it!

This place is STUNNING. It is next to black beach, and if it’s for a beautiful vacation do not hesitate to book. All members of staff made us feel so welcome, the room was out of this world!!!! 10000/10 amazing! The views are just spectacular, breakfast was so so nice and the location was lovely too.

We selected and booked based on the photo and view as per the website for the room however we were given the ground floor with no windows and no views at all even though upstairs was all
Vacant !!! I felt like a prisoner!!! Also the property came up with parking and sound proof rooms which we did not experience at all. On day 2, we had very noisy neighbours just next to us even though there was no one else on the property and these people were so noisy. Horrible experience and what a waste of my money!!

The property is not easy to locate in the area, no directions were given. There was no one to greet us upon the arrival. We had to locate and call the manager over the phone to get in. The bathroom is very small, water gets everywhere when taking a shower, making the floor wet and unsafe. Room is decent size.

Taxi drive from airport...you can easily walk the town! Town has island public bus stop..part of black sand beach is free..no beds and umbrellas ..no e store to buy snacks and drinks..lady at reception is wo derfull...so helpful

Owner Dimitri was very helpful for tips for the bus and places to see in the area. He was pleasant and easy going , and transported us as needed. We had a lovely room with a view of the water as the large church nearby. It was an easy walk to the village for dining, shopping, md best of all, beach.

The Villa was OK, we arrived late in the evening and had transportation from the airport to the Villa. When we arrived at the Villa the driver took us to our room and the keys were in the door and he left. The office closes at 5pm and there was no one there to talk with had to call a number which was posted on the door. We had no AC working or TV the breaker must of tripped and which meant the electrical was not working. So we had to call the number and have someone come to check it out. The driver was the person who showed up and did his best to correct the issue. The Villa's website states they have a Bar/Restaurant and other items which is not true. I stay was very disappointing and the management was not very considerate of the issues. First of all they do not state that transportation is available (maybe surchage) on their site. The other guest that were there had the same issues as we did and were not pleased at all. This Villa is not cheap and will never recommend it to anyone. I asked if we could get a refund so we could move to a hotel in the area - No

Absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed everything about Villa Dima from the second we stepped foot in Santorini! The room was small but sparkling clean, had beautiful sea views, and a cute balcony area. The room was quiet, the air conditioning worked well, the beds were very comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach, plenty of stores on the way, and many great restaurants. The staff was exceptional! I cannot tell you how much I appreciated Dimitri, the manager. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and professional. He was always available to answer our many questions, and spent time helping with booking excursions and the ferry, even helping to contact our airline. We extended our stay and rented one of their luxury villas as well, all of it amazing! I highly recommend staying here, and would definitely stay here again!

very conveniently located to the bus stop and the beach. cute little villa but since its older the shower and toilet are in the same space meaning if you need to use the toilet remember to bring slippers because the ground will be wet! beds werent very comfy as i could literally feel the springs underneath but the associates were all very friendly! they only change your towels and take your trash everyday and the other housekeeping duties like vacuuming and changing sheets every 3 days

Me and my wife stayed at Villa Dima for a week.
The location is perfect with everything near walking 2 min you are on the beach and there are all the restaurants, beach bars, market , bakery and more.....
Dimitri is a very nice man , he is at the reception all day and ready to help you with anything, he arranged us the volcano tour with the best prices and suggest us all the most beautiful places that we have to see on the island.
Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. Its located directly at the beach of Perissa and the view is amazing. Perissa is a beautiful place with a nice beach and a lot of restaurants and bars. I'd highly recommend to everyone to visit this place. We will come back for sure ;).

Very, clean good looking place. Dimitri was super nice and very outgoing truing to talk to and welcome the guests! He made my breakfast and made sure my stay was comfortable. Location is great and right to a bus station, the beach and all of the shops! Great place for the value and I also met a lot of new people at the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Dimitri was a wonderful host. He was very kind and helpful, and gave us good recommendations. He also kindly loaned us beach towels as we forgot to bring some, and was very accommodating. The location is very near the beach and bus stop to Fira, and ATV rental was nearby, so it was very convenient. We enjoyed the stay 👍😊

Vacation near the beach

The room was excellent. The owner and his wife were very friendly and even offered for us to leave our backpacks in the room on the day of our check out. Not only were we hosted with professionalism, warmth and kindness, but our room conditions were quaint, modern and memorable. The view from the top floor was tranquil and beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a peaceful, comfortable and overall wonderful vacation or business traveling experience. The wifi was so great that if you are traveling on business, you can get a lot of work done. I had to use the wifi for long periods of time for a class that I was taking online and I had no trouble at all. This hotel was also located very close (5min walk) to the beach which was nice. Overall, I really enjoyed myself and appreciated the amenities such as a tea/coffee maker, quaint bathroom, bedroom and balcony!

No pool, but other than that it's a great location. There is no on site parking, but only 1 or 2 days we struggled to park on the street outside - it is narrow as all the little roads in Santorini are, but there is ample public parking approx 100m from the Villa. Hosts are super friendly and always willing to help, place is clean, air con is free and works well, small and basic but perfect if like us you spend more time enjoying the Island rather than living in your hotel room.

Quaint hotel in a part of Santorini (or Thera) that isn't all cliffsides covered in white-walled structures.

The room was clean. The staff were welcoming. The walls are thin - like you can clearly hear people's conversations through the walls, if they are outside speaking in a normal voice. The beds are...horizontal. We felt some of the springs. Overall, though, the hotel was fine. We didn't come to Perissa to stay indoors, we came for the black beach, and the hotel is located very close to it and the row of bars and restaurants that service the beach.

They lie about free car park, it is far away

First, they information about free parking is not correct. The parking is not on site and public. If you say that is free parking, there is no non-free parking hotel in the world. You have to take your heavy luggage to go up to the hill to the hotel and it is hard to find parking in summer time.

Second, the air conditioning is rubbish. It can be used only if the door is closed. But under 30 + degree, it would take nearly an hour to get cool. So you have to stay in the oven for an hour until you can cool down. I wonder if they have the money to get this trigger, why they don't spend on improving their equipments.

Not 100% like in the description, but close.

Everything was very acceptable here. Our room was clean (and tiny), and the surrounding area was nice. The few cons I noticed were that the page still says breakfast could be purchased each day there, and when we checked in, we were told it had been months since they stopped serving breakfast. Another thing was that it made us plan things out to be able to talk with someone at the desk, since the reception is only open until
4:30 pm. Still, a nice place for the price. No real complaints.

We were checked in by Christine, who was very friendly. We stayed at a studio for 3 people. It had a small bathroom, a kitchenette and a rather spacious balcony. The room was cleaned every day and it was spotless. The complimentary AC was a nice touch.
The hotel arranged airport transfer for us, which was 10 EUR per person.
The only hiccup was the wifi, which didn't work properly.
All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Dimitris.

Great choice in Santorini!!

I stayed at Villa Dimitris on recommendation from my friends who had stayed there a year ago. It's definitely a great choice on Santorini! Perissa is an excellent location because it is slightly less touristy and crowded than the other towns. It has everything you'd want on an island vacation without all the masses of tourists/cruise ships/shopping strips...though it's easy to get to all the other towns as well. There is still lots to do in Perissa, including lots of restaurants and bars, and bonus...you are right on the beach! There are lots of chairs to rent and you can get from your room to the beach in just a few minutes! It's also very easy to get to all other parts of the island, whether it's by bus or by ATV.

Villa Dimitris was very nice, especially for the price, considering where you are and that it's Santorini! It was an excellent deal for a private room with private bathroom, that was clean and had great air conditioning (essential in the summer) (though the room wasn't cleaned one of the days we were there). The owner is also very hospitable and helpful, and even if she is not on the premises, she is easily reachable via e-mail, and is very responsive and helpful.

Each room also gets a free airport transfer, which comes in very handy since the buses from the airport are very infrequent.

I would definitely recommend this as an excellent place to stay on Santorini, for the room, value, and location!

Beware, barking dogs and church bells.

I barley got any sleep due to the dogs barking all night and church bells going off at 7am every half hour. When I told the owner about this she said \"No one else has complained\". Plus you can hear all conversations from others staying around you. No peace at this place. Worst stay, better to stay somewhere else. In the end, a $5 discount was all she gave, she complained that since it was through travelocity, what money would she make. Not my problem, don't waste your money. Bathroom smelled like rotten eggs and the shower, good luck if your tall. No shampoo or soap provided.

This should be more than a 2*

for people who just need a bed for night, because you shouldn't be in your room during the day when on holiday, this is one of the best places we have stayed.
yes it is basic (no four poster bed) but it is clean, has all the essentials you need,set in a lovely place and has lovely views.
Rula is very welcoming and is very helpful when answering and questions. anything you need she will help.

This place is definately worth a stay.
