The owners, Matthew and Kim, are incredibly sweet and welcoming, and they’ve created a truly beautiful hotel. My children absolutely loved it here. The property features two pools and is set in a quiet, picturesque location that’s perfect for relaxing.

The accommodations were wonderful—spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and clearly prepared with care. The nearby restaurant options were excellent, offering great variety within easy walking distance.

Two beautiful beaches are just a short drive away—both small, peaceful, and never too crowded—which made our days by the sea even more enjoyable.

Overall, it was a beautiful experience from start to finish. I loved every moment of my stay and would highly recommend Paradice Luxury Hotel to anyone visiting Crete.

We felt right at home. The pools are fantastic, large, and always clean. Stavros beach is within walking distance, just a few minutes away. The staff is wonderful, always kind and ready to help with any need.

This place is a great deal. First, the owner is there every day takes of all your needs. She is awesome. Very peaceful and relaxibg by the pool. Lots of sun chairs and pool is warm. Full breakfast every morning. The best gym i have had at a hotel. A real workout gym. Squat rack, full size adjustable bench. Lots of 45lb plates. Dumbells from 5 to 50lb in pairs. And other common equipment. Even a heavy bag with boxing gloves. Can walk to Stavros beach, really nice cove for kids and great fish restaurant called Almyriki. They know how to cook a whole fish.

This is a family run hotel that gives a friendly personal service.
Exceptionally clean, fantastic breakfast and lovely relaxing pool area.
The staff are very hospitable and go out of there way to make your holiday a success.

A great find.

Suited us perfectly as a one night stay before returning home to the UK. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Very nice pool. Bedroom fine but matress not that comfortable. Nice breakfast. Tavernas within walking distance for lunch or supper.

Fantastic local hotel run by local family. The hotel facilities were great and kept so nicely. An great workout room with weights/running equipment nice and cool. Swimming pool was glorious surrounded by good quality lounges.

Vicky and her staff were amazing such lovely people willing to help /advise on anything.

Quiet venue really relaxing. The local beach was glorious and mostly used by locals rather than tourists with rowdy kids.

Lovely hotel, in quiet peaceful surroundings.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable time staying at Paradice. staff were very accommodating and helpful. We had courtesy pick up from Chania airport as we arrived late evening. The layout of the rooms in the main hotel and the chalets to the rear of the hotel ensured the peace and tranquility of our stay. The hotel was fully books but it was quiet enough which was a positive factor in our choice of location and hotel choice. The pool was well maintained and cleaned each day. the rooms were very comfortable, spotless, and spacious. Good aircon in the room also.

the manager and all staff where very friendly, polite and courteous. Even to the extent of offering room service on an ocassions for breakfast. rhe staff team made us very welcoming and nothing was too much effort. They ensured we had a lovely relaxing holiday, abd we would definately recommend the hotel. We also were given courtesy beach towels such was the friendliness of all the hotel staff !!

Stavros beach is 12-15 minute walk, easy to get to and lovely. Some tavernas and restaraunts are close to the small beach. The beach is well maintained and ideal for having a chilled out day. There is a bus service into Chania town and port also.

Overall a lovely holiday, made perfect by the hotel staff who made our time there a very enjoyable experience

From the moment the owners son met us at the airport to the moment he unloaded our cases from the car st the airport to go home our stay was an absolute pleasure. Vicky on reception could not be more helpful or friendly. She even arranged for local restaurants to pick us up and drop is back off at the end of the evening. The hotel is a short walk into Stavros beach where there are a few restaurants and a lovely beach. Breakfast is made to order at any time. Having not been to Crete for 20 years I was relieved that helpful friendliness of the Cretans hasn't changed. In addition the pool is lovely with a couple of canopy areas which is great when the temp hits 40c the air con in the room was a bonus and the fly screens meant that we had no flies in the room for a peaceful nights sleep or afternoon snooze. Would definitely recommend the hotel

Great Place for a Family

We LOVED our stay at Paradice. Be sure and get the Breakfast each morning. There's a great beach just down the road and it's close to the airport. Our room had 3 beds for the kids and a large bed for my wife and I. It was perfect.

Great hotel, but...

We loved the location and the hotel itself. Vicki was the friendliest person, and we loved chatting with her. Our only complaint were the beds. Sleeping on a board would have been more comfy. Vicki did say the beds in the main part of the hotel were comfy, and that she'd never say on those in the rooms where we stayed, but she would, and would change them.

A real Gem

Lovely hotel. A real gem. Vickie was an amazing host. And her mushroom and bacon pastry for breakfast was delicious. The garden is so pretty and it was such a nice idea to have fresh coffee, always available. The location is great a bit off the beaten track, but plenty of local places to eat and a lovely local shop selling everything you might need.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would love to think that I might get the chance to return one day. Thank you Vickie.

This hotel doesn't provide complimentary Shuttle service. They will charge you, to the beach or airport. The room doesn't have wifi. As the signal isn't strong enough. It is nicely designed and decorated.

Fantastic relaxing getaway

Our 4 day stay at this hotel was nothing short of relaxing and rejuvenating. The owners and staff treated us like family and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel pool was right outside our door and a beautiful, not so crowded, beach was just a short walk from the hotel. We also took a hike one evening up the mountain behind the hotel to a cave with an amazing view. The free wifi worked perfectly along with the A/C. We also had delicious breakfast prepared for us each morning. You wouldn't even know this place existed until you are right on-top of it and you walk into a wonderful site of fruit trees, a large pool and a wonderful staff to greet you. The hotel is located outside of Chania, about a 20 min drive or €20 taxi ride. The owners also speak english well, a definite plus for us! We will be staying here again.

Everything about the hotel was great, except that the distance from any activity was a tad disconcerting. This was remedied by renting a car with the staffs' organising for a very reasonable price.

Very friendly, it was like staying with family!

My son & I stayed here July 2013 as we were a little nervous... it was the first time I had taken him away alone!
Instantly, from the moment we were picked up from the airport, we felt relaxed and at ease.
The family who run The Paradise hotel are outstanding, friendly, polite, great English and very attentive.
We had breakfast made to order each morning, information about the local area if required, & clean modern rooms to stay in.
Vicky cooked in the evening if required & when the family went to bed - we stayed up and chatted, which made me feel so at ease.
Due to the family nature of the hotel, I had no issues sending my 6yr old up the room alone to use the facilities.
I needed to relax - despite being aware with a child alone, I was totally able to do this!

Very accommodating in every possible way, and to everyone else that entered. Real passion as it is a family business!

I have stayed in many hotels over the world - and this exceeds expectations with a great family feel.

Lovely quiet hotel, Staff absolutely fabulous

Lovely quiet hotel run by the ever smiling Vicki and her family. Rooms are bright and spotlessly clean. Locking wardrobe and fridge in the rooms. Coffee and juice available in reception 24 hours a day. Housekeeping every day except Sunday. (hardworking Stella deserves a day off). Pleasant grounds with water fall and several sitting areas. Level walk of about 1/2 mile to the calm, sandy beach where Zorba's dance was filmed and several pleasant and reasonable tavernas nearby. En route to the beach are 2 small but well stocked mini markets. We hired a car and were able to visit the lovely hinterland of western Crete and go into the charming and picturesque Chania for sightseeing and dinner. there are local buses but not sure how frequently they run

Great location, warm hospitality, fab service

This family run hotel is situated in a beautiful town within walking distance of one of the most amazing beaches in Crete. Upon arrival you are greeted with the warmest Cretian hospitality and a smile. Our hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating especially Vicky who was always keen to assist us and give us valuable advice on where to eat and go. If you want peace and quiet this is definitely the place to stay and is great value for money. Already planning our next trip back to Paradice Hotel hopefully next year.

Love this hotel, we highly recommend.

My partner and I have just returned from Stavros Crete staying for two weeks at the Paradice Hotel. Although the hotel was full it did not feel that way as we often had the pool area to ourselves. It is a quiet hotel situated near a beautiful beach and a few restaurants all serving wonderful traditional Cretan food. The hotel is decorated and furnished to a very high ‘boutique’ standard and kept spotlessly clean by Stella, the lovely Greek lady who will make time to stop and chat. Stella cleans the rooms daily, and changes linen and towels. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and with balconies where you can enjoy an evening drink. All rooms are equipped with a fridge so you can stock up on fruit, drinks etc from the nearby supermarket, rooms also have hairdryer, telephone and air con.
Breakfast is served when you get up, just stroll down to the pool area, help yourself to coffee and juice and breakfast will be freshly cooked and brought to you. We loved that each day the food was different from bacon and eggs, cheese, ham, toast, yogurt, honey, fruit etc. Again, each morning the pool area was quiet, the food cooked well and a great way to start the day.
The owners Vicky and Mathew and their three sons are fantastic hosts. We spent many evenings chatting to them in the reception area. They cannot do enough to make you feel welcome in their home. They will do anything to ensure you enjoy your holiday. They will advise on car rental, bus times, good restaurants, anything.

Paradice Hotel - OUTSTANDING!!!!

Matthew and Vicky went out of their way to make our family's stay a complete success! They welcomed us into their "home" and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone (single or family) for a comfortable room, and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. They are a great family and we really enjoyed the conversation and interaction with them. The breakfast Vicky prepares is second to none. There is a great beach close by and the hotel is close to the Chania Airport.

Stay at this hotel - you will not regret it.

I have only good things to say about this hotel. It is close to the bus station and there are kiosk and restaurants near the hotel. The beach is also near. The personals are very nice and good people very friendly. We felt safe and happy. The pool is very big and the sun beds were nice

Quite good hotel - room for improvement

The ladies from reception - exceptional …! So nice and kind . Because of them would come back.
Got a room at first with no balcony for 9 nights - but thanks to the ladies - could change the first day !
Expected a bit more from a 4 start hotel … to get cleaning was difficult .

The pool area very big and not much ppl in August ../!
Would I come back - not sure. Used the pool only once .. the area around is super nice and good calm
Beaches and restaurants around
Not to far from chaina if you have a car !

The location is convenient for reaching the most beautiful beaches in the western area of the island, you need a car. Great location if you are flying from Chania airport. The staff is customer oriented and always available fot any needs, especially the staff of the internal restaurant. The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved.

Hotelli oli ihana. Vähän hankaluutta toi se, että joka kerta kun halusi syömään muualle (ravintolassa ei ravintolaa mutta voi tilata kuljetuksella) joutui kävelemään rannalle. Pyyhkeet vaihdettiin joka päivä mutta esim. Lattia kerkesi viikon aikana menemään todella tahmaiseksi. Aamiainen hieman yksipuolinen. Henkilökunta oli kuitenkin todella ystävällistä ja saimme nukuttua hyvin. Äänieristetyt ikkunat oli plussaa! Uima-allas alue oli siisti ja toimiva!

È veramente un paradiso, si trova a due passi da Zorbas beach e dai vari ristoranti della zona.
Per quanto concerne la pulizia la camera è stata pulita 5 volte in una settimana, vengono rimesse sempre asciugamani nuove e il letto viene sempre rifatto. La struttura é curata e le persone che ci lavorano soko molto disponibili al dialogo.
Unico neo è la colazione, viene servita al tavolo e si può scegliete tra quella inglese e quella americana, avrei preferito il buffet.
Per quanto mi riguarda ci tornerei ad occhi chiusi.

Perfekt hotell med underbar personal.

Vicky som har hotellet var helt fantastisk! Hjälpsam och jättetrevlig. Hjälpte oss med resmål, hyrbil, specialfrukost, luncher etc. Hotellet ligger i en liten by, mysiga stränder nära, matbutik och bra restauranger på gångavstånd. Allt var toppen. Sängarna var lite hårdare än vad vi var vana vid men annars inget att klaga på. Fantastisk frukost varje morgon. Toppbetyg från oss!
