Sadly this hotel is deteriorating year on year. I have stayed here several times for convenience but I don’t think I will stay again. The decor is old and the walls in the bedroom are badly scuffed all over. One of the electrical sockets and the dresser light was not working. There was only one nightstand for a massive double bed. The worst thing was the bathroom. The shower bracket was broken so you had to hold the shower head in one hand to take a shower. There was a plastic shower curtain which was dirty at the bottom and was drawn in to your body by the updraft whilst using the shower. There was thick black mould on the ceiling above the shower which cannot be healthy.

We liked the quiet location, the large, comfortable bed, the reading lamps, the shower with plenty of hot water, the ready and willing assistance at the reception desk for calling taxis and a shuttle to the airport, and the fact that breakfast was included. We especially appreciated the reasonable cost of our accommodations. The only two things that we felt could have been improved were: There was work going on in the corridors of our floor that made the hotel look a bit worn and shabby. The wonderfully spacious bathroom could have been put to more use, such as adding counters to either side of the sink for accommodating toiletries.

We arrived on site (12:45) and were told that the floor we were on had water problems. If we could check in after 3 pm. Upon returning (6:30 pm) we were told that there still was a problem and that we were booked in another Hotel 10 min away. The change in accommodations were handled very professionally, we were looked after very well.

Clean room with helpful and pleasant staff

The hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant, particularly the waiter/barman in the restaurant. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a superb shower. Some of the electrical sockets were a little loose on the wall which was disturbing but nothing untoward happened. The hotel set menu in the dining room was very good with fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. The hotel is a bus ride to Rebibbia Metro station then a subway ride into Rome. It's not too difficult to get into Rome centre. Unfortunately the area around the hotel is a little run-down and the only store nearby was closed for the duration. There are no good restaurants nearby which was disappointing but overall the stay was satisfactory for the price.

Not what I thought

The room was not at all like I expected. There were holes in the walls. The walls were so thin that I heard every conversation going on in the next room. Not to mention being awoken by adult activity at 3 in the morning. The wifi was not working, and the location was a lot farther from the train station that I thought. The website said the room was on sale marked down from over $500. I cannot imagine the room ever going for that amount.

What an amaziing and affordable hotel! We really loved it there. The only downside is that its considered to be outside Rome Central, so getting transport to and from the hotel is a bit of a mission. Also, its great if you just want a bed for the night, but not great as a holiday location as there is nothing to do around the area (it's like a business district). Hotel was afforable and full buffet breakfast was included which made it worth while. Definitely recommended!

hotel is located almost 30 minutes walk from rabibia train station. i called couple of times customer service to ask for bus service from train station, but they did not give me any answer. customer service people were rude and unprofessional.
our room fridge was not working, bathroom drain was clogged, i called customer service couple of times but they never fixed problem.
i advise never stay in this hotel. there is no eating place around there. surroundings look dangerous. hotel was not clean at all.

but i loved ladies who work in kitchen. they were really nice and charming.

Nice Italien standard Hotel compared to the price

We enjoyed the stay even though it's a bit outside Rome citycenter. But buing af cheap Metro ticket and busses and Metros leaving all the time is fine. Buss no 350 passes the Metro Rebibia but also ends at the Metro Ponte Mammolo. Sundays we had to wait for the bus.
Breakfast is nice but service takes it's Italien time. Nice people though.
We did not have hot water for a couple of days but it was fixed again.
Would not mind going back.

We were extremely dissappointed with this Hotel especially the person at the Reception. We were a group of 8 Adults and 4 Kids and reached a bit late in the evening (almost around 1:00 in the morning) after a long drive from Venice. On reaching, the person at the Reception insisted us to show all our passports before he could allocate any room. Since our passports were secured in our bag, we requested him to allocate our rooms so that we could settle down and then within 30 min we can show him all the passports. This person showed no flexibilty despite the fact that we were completely exhausted including our kids. He was very impolite and rude in his talking. We finally ended opening up our bags on the road to give him all the passports. On further discussion he even threatened us of calling the Police and he actually did, when we also insisted on the same. The Police however did not turn up. The person even had no courtesy to tell us about the lifts available from Basement using which we could get our luggage into the Hotel. Our rooms were small with bare minimum furniture of poor quality. In the morning when we came down for Breakfast, we were told that the Omlette was finished for the day - though the Breakfast time was still on and people were still coming in for Breakfast. Only after insisting, again, the staff topped up the Breakfast items. Overall - not a good experience and thus would not personally recommend this hotel to anyone.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel at at all. Although the breakfast selection was great and the staff was relatively courteous and helpful there were a lot of negatives. I didn't mind having to commute into the city center by bus and subway however I had a problem with several other aspects of my stay there. The area where the hotel is was somewhat seedy, the air conditioning didn't really work (or work properly anyway) despite the fact that it was 35C most of the days I was there and there was no iron in the rooms. Also, the bathtub consists of just one hose, with no shower curtains. The walls were extremely dirty/stained as well. The breakfast was good but as stated, you're on your own for lunch and supper and the \"convenient restaurants\" in the area aren't plentiful. There was only two within reasonable walking distance which were essentially mom and pop style places. All in all, my stay was pretty inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.

Not a great location, but nice staff and breakfast

Had some fears about this hotel after reading some of the reviews, but I had already booked it and took a chance. The neighborhood it's in is a bit shady but the hotel is nice and seemed pretty secure. Bed and bathroom were clean and big enough. Armoire door was broken and taped together, and the wall in front of the bed was banged up from luggage. Hotel staff was very friendly. Not sure about the review mentioning rude staff, but this was not the case during our visit. The lady in charge of breakfast even sang italian as she hurried around helping everyone. Breakfast was good, particularly since it was included in the rate. The main issue with this hotel is location. We wrote specific instructions to share in this review and hopefully it will help others out. You basically take the subway to the end of the line then have to catch a bus for another 10 minutes. It takes 30-60 minutes to get to the city center from the hotel with walking, waiting, and transferring between the bus and subway. Here are the instructions (don't get scared with the length, we tried to be really detailed):

From Rome's main train station (Roma Termini), follow the signs to the Metro. Take metro line B towards Rebbibia. Stay on the train until Rebbibia (which is the last stop). Exit Rebbibia station and go outside. There is a stairwell on your left about 10 feet after you walk outside. Go up the stairwell and then turn left. You'll be looking at a small street/plaza area. Walk to the small brick wall (about waist high) and follow it for a few yards. Walk down the narrow staircase and look straight ahead. You'll see an area where buses line up but that isn't your bus! Walk straight until you see the yellow bus sign for #311.

Bus 311 will stop at the sign and may or may not keep driving immediately. Sometimes the bus driver goes on break for 10-15 minutes before coninuing the route. Tell the bus driver that you want to go to Casina Palace because you can't see it from the road and you need to get out before then. The stop is called Galbani but I think there is more than one 'Galbani', so make sure to tell the driver Casina Palace.

When you get out of the bus, walk down the street on your right (where the bus turns after it lets you off) until the first stoplight, cross the street, and continue straight for less than a block and you'll see the hotel on your left.

There is a really good restaurant called Pizza and Beer at the corner with the stoplight. The food quality is way better than the name and the english translations on the menu are hilarious. Very good service and reasonable prices. Note that dinner service doesn't start until 7:30 PM.

Seriously, you'd be better off in a hostel :-\ This place is far away from everything, the bus station is NOT near, and the neighborhood is disgusting. The AC in our room wasn't working and we've asked 2 times at the front desk for it to be fixed... it never got fixed. The room looked dirty - stains on the walls and floors. The breakfast was bad also. Overall - you'd be better of in a hostel! Seriously.

Ok if you want to ride the train and the bus to the city

Somehow I felt this was closer to the city, we had to ride a bus and train to get to the main sites in the city. The room doesn't have AC. They only have the bar open for breakfast, there is no internet in the room, and there is no computer in the lobyl, so you only have access to the internet if you have your laptop. There are no internet cafe close by, and there is only 1 restaurant close by. The room was fine, but the location not good.

Otroligt dåligt, snuskigt smutsigt hotell, badrummet var dåligt och äckligt, men det var inte allt, det som var katastrof är att hotellet har ingen AC,fick ett rum som vi inte kunde ens gå in av värme, det var 32 grader i rummet, pratade med resorptionen och de bytte rummet till ett annat men meddelade i förväg att ACn i andra rummet är inte mycket bättre, vi fick öppna fönstret för att kunna sova eftersom det var svalare ute ån i rummet, temperaturen ute var ca 27 grader

Camera sporca, c’era la moquette che nelle foto non è presente ed era davvero sporca. Se l’avessi saputo non avrei prenotato semplicemente. Mi sono abbassato per raccogliere una cosa che era caduta sotto il letto ed era molto sporco. Il bagno sembrava pulito ma comunque puzzava tremendamente. Mi dispiace lasciare questa recensione, ma sono cose che si possono tranquillamente migliorare.

O lugar não corresponde as fotos. Falta manutenção, o ar condicionado não funciona , as paredes sujas , teias de aranha , pontos de infiltração, cortinas sujas, café da manhã péssimo sem muita opção . Enfim , se for para cobrar o preço de diária que está cobrando não compensa de forma alguma. Chegamos 1 da manhã e quando vimos a situação do nosso quarto , resolvemos que seria melhor dormir no carro , foi quando o rapaz da recepção nos ofereceu um outro quarto, um pouco melhor , mas condições basicas de utilização . Nao vale o preço , não recomendo .

Hotel bello dall'esterno, all'interno un po' meno. La moquette a terra e sui muri purtroppo fa la sua parte. Nelle camere c'è un po' di cattivo odore e si vede che dovrebbero essere tenute meglio. Nel complesso sono pulite, e ordinate. Servirebbe un ammodernamento. La colazione è abbondante e la sala ristorante distribuita in parte all'aperto, in parte in una sala a vetrate all'interno.

Worn down, needs deep cleaning and soundproofing!

It’s ok to sleep and pass the night but not really happy with the experience. Far from the city center, the busses in the area and the area itself looks a bit dodgy. Breakfast was ok but basically scrambled eggs and sweet pastries. Parking was available. The room was ok, beds ok for sleeping a couple of nights, shower a bit moldy, AC not cooling enough but thankfully we were there in a non so hot time (May), the hallways looked pretty old and worn down. Not soundproof at all!! One night our neighbours were having sex and we could hear everything, even in the hallway, that was horrible!!

The hotel was really not what I had seen in the pictures when I booked.
The room was dirty with stains all over. First night there we had no cash on us so they refused to help us with water, even though we were dehydrated.
The breakfast was a complete joke. Some stale pastry and white bread. No fruits.

L’hôtel n’est pas sécurisé, pas de caméra de surveillance. Pendant mon séjour, la vitre de ma voiture a été cassée dans le parking de l’hôtel, le personnel s’en fiche complètement de cet événement, a refusé de donner le numéro de leur assurance et lorsque j’ai voulu appeler la police pour faire un constat, ils ont répondu que la police ne pouvait rien faire pour moi.
Certains employés étaient méprisants et manquaient de respect aux autres.
Le petit déjeuner est médiocre.
La propreté laisse à désirer, j’ai retrouvé des ongles et des insectes dans la chambre.
La climatisation ne fonctionne pas, il n’y a pas de wifi, pas de mini-bar, pas de coffre-fort.
Hôtel à éviter ! Les images sont mensongères !!
Ne pas croire les images, elles ne correspondent pas à la réalité qui est beaucoup plus abîmée.

Stuff was confused and not well organized.the first day I was given the wrong key and had to request a new one. The second day somebody knocked at my door and asked me to move out my room as it had been double booked.

Molti degli spazi comuni dell'albergo richiederebbero manutenzione: spazi esterni, corridoi dei piani, sala colazioni dove sono evidenti distacchi di intonaci, moquette e carte da parati.
Nelle stanze mi è capitato più volte, essendo cliente abituale, di trovare crepe al lavandino, varie luci della camera non funzionanti, rubinetteria mal messa.
Impeccabile il servizio e la cortesia del personale tutto ed il ricco ed assortito buffet della colazione.

Servicen var næsten helt i top! Jeg kom meget tideligt og indtjekningen stod til kl. 14, men jeg fik adgang til mit værelse kl 08:30, dog da jeg skulle tjekke ud, måtte jeg vente meget længe på at blive betjent.

Når man kommer ind, virker receptionsområdet rigtig rent og lækkert, men så snart man kommer op på værelserne og gangarealet er det noget helt andet. Tæpperne trænger til at blive skiftet of væggene malet. Værelset var der tegn på mug/råddent ved vinduerne, sengene føles som beton og sengelinnedet virkede ikke helt rent.

Hotellet ligger ikke tæt på tirbutina, som det fremstod herinde.

l'hotel si presenta in condizioni un po' vetuste; occorrerebbe una buona manutenzione straordinaria soprattutto dal punto di vista della pulizia. Il servizio, comunque è buono, la colazione buona e abbondante.

Hotel valido, ordinato e pulito. I mezzi per raggiungerlo però non sono molto semplici. Pochi bus e pochi servizi nei paraggi. Serve assolutamente un'auto. Colazione ottima e reception gentilissimi

la struttura nel complesso non è male, ma come tutte le strutture tendono a decadere se non sono costantemente manutenute. finestra senza maniglua, muri non sbiancati etc. non male nel complesso, buono il prezzo ma attenzione all entropia.

Quasi tutto positivo: personale reception e sala efficientissimo, massima pulizia della stanza, confort discreto, assortita e abbondante la colazione.
E' indubbio che la struttura merita un pò di interventi di manutenzione: gli spazi comuni del 4° piano rasentano l'inagibilità. Però questo non inficia il buon livello del soggiorno.

Hotel in ottima posizione per quello che ci interessava. Il personale è gentilissimo, sia in reception che in sala colazioni. La struttura purtroppo quasi \"urla\" il suo bisogno di un ammodernamento.

La mia esperienza, appena giunti in hotel, non siamo stati accolti come clienti, ma come se fossimo degli ospiti.Stanza senza aria condizionata, la temperatura della stanza sfiorava i 35 gradi le pareti erano calde, dopo un'ora ci siamo fatti spostare in altra stanza, per l'eccessivo calore, la ventola di aria fresca non riusciva a far abbassare la temperatura della stanza troppo elevata, in quanto esposta al sole tutto il pomeriggio. Le pareti del bagno erano piene di umidità anche sul soffitto, stessa cosa nella stanza da letto.

Non c’è un bar ma solo un distributore automatico, prezzo della bottiglietta di acqua 2€, arrivati in camera un vecchio condizionatore sotto la finestra che non rinfrescava , anzi scaldava. Il parcheggio se non espressamente richiesto a pagamento, è un piazzale dove la notte infrangono i vetri delle macchine.

Albergo in zona tranquillissima

Ho utilizzato questo hotel per una notte da passare nella magica Capitale. Personale molto cordiale, gentile e disponibile, prezzi modici con colazione compresa. Quest'ultima di mio gradimento poiché internazionale ed a buffet, quindi con una vasta scelta di alimenti. Inoltre è possibile pranzare e cenare lì all'hotel qualora si volesse, poiché munito di un ristorante al suo interno. Camere molto spaziose e pulite. Nel complesso è stata un'ottima rivelazione!

Ho prenotato l'hotel per degli amici... e ti fanno fare una figuraccia... Ti dicono il prezzo ... ti chiedono la carta ... e poi ti levano i soldi prima del check out! ... e per giunta aumentati di tassa di soggiorno di 8 euro... che con malizia non è stata ben dichiarata nel prezzo totale indicato da Esperia!
