We got a room with out the possibility to lock the door and they didn’t care and sad it was Normal. The receptionist wouldn’t leave he chair to look at it and help. We needed up leavening do to god rooms and behaviour. Otherworldly the rooms is with a window.

For our say, this was a convenient location. The price was very reasonable. The accommodations were simple, but sufficient. When we checked in, the room that we were assigned had been used and not prepared. That was kind of a bummer. But they got us into another room right away. The dinner at the restaurant on site was very good. It included appetizer, first course, main course, and dessert at a very reasonable price.

Beautiful property with real flowers and plants all around. The place was very clean and nice with great service everyday with clean bed and towels. It was very convenient with the metro and bus station next to you. The area is not the best to look at but the hotel is locked up and very nice. There are not many areas to eat around you or stores.

Generally this is a nice little hotel, prefect location close to the metro that goes straight to the colosseum, also inly about 20 mins from ciampino airport. We actually found the location great. Some odd things, there is no kettle in the room, so no tea or coffe making facilities, we took our own coffee sachets and luckily we were able to get hot water from them bar. The rooms are pleasant but very basic, no wardrobe, draws etc and there is a small window within the door, so they do get really stuffy, no private balcony or much natural light in rooms. Staff are lovely, apart from the night receptionist our last night, he was just ignorant. You will be charged city tax of 6 euro pp per night on departure, we didnt know this so be prepared. Do not get a private taxi to/from hotel. We got charged 15 mins wait time by our taxi the day we left even though we got in it on time, apparently as standard they arrive 15 miutes early which our hotel didnt tell us so it was already 23 euros before we even left!.

big enough for two people ONLY.

negatives:

area of the hotel is dirty and during late evening is unsafe.

room (Comfort Double Room) does not have window uses builtin window part of the door to say it's a window, the walls are paper thin you hear all the farts of other guests next to you like surround system, IF YOU NON SMOKER this will be your hell, as other guests can smoke right outside your window-door till late in the evening

there's not much around the area....

I WOULD suggest book hotel closer to Rome central if you are staying longer than 2 days.

Was perfect for what we wanted....to be near the Ryder cup. Only thing would be if they had English subtitles on the TV... couldn't manage to find it asked some other guest's they couldn't either...didn't ask staff as wasn't much of an issue.. would also say maybe check the air con as smelled a bit damp other than that it was lovely..nice to see a resident cat too..

The location is very convenient to the nearby Rebibbia Metro station. You can take the train and bus all over the city, which is the most cost-effective option. It is maybe 2 blocks away which can be trying for an elderly or disabled person. It's not the prettiest area in the city, but I felt safe while I was there and that's the most important factor. The hotel building itself is old, but well-maintained and cute. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the wifi is good, but those are really the only amenities worth anything here. It's a good place to rest your head at the end of the night.

Great Choice!

The Urban Garden Hotel is an absolute gem in Rome. As a hotel with a great rate, it was pleasantly very clean, has an available full breakfast, and the staff were helpful and kind. Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious. There is an outdoor garden and patio space to enjoy conversation throughout the day, you can arrive anytime as the front desk is always open, and they have a small bar service as well. This hotel is worth staying at if you are willing to take the metro from Roma Termini to Rebibbia (about 25 min.).

Great affordable place in Rome

Hotel is right by the metro station and was very convenient. The staff went above and beyond and truly made our stay. The only thing to note is the wifi is not strong in the rooms, but it’s great in the lobby. Would definitely recommend!

It was the perfect location for what we needed

The people at the front desk are extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is in good condition, the only issue is that our room didn't have a refrigerator but the people at the front desk were really helpful and offered their help. Another small issue is that to get to the room there are two sets of stairs so it may be uncomfortable for some people. Other than that is a really good and affordable option to stay in Rome, is not close to the main tourist attractions but there is a Metro station just a few minutes from the hotel that takes you directly to the Colosseum.

The property is clean, great breakfast, friendly staff. I managed to find a good family restaurant close by. Metro station’s at walking distance, very convenient, as well as local buses. The smell that comes from the bathroom was terrible, I had to keep the bathroom door closed and turn A/C on which helped a lot. Other than the area and the smell everything else was as expected.

Very disappointing.

The room wasn't the one I was expecting and not even close to what I was expecting: it has no windows and in the bathroom you could see cracks in the walls.
During the night you could hear people shouting and making very loud noises from downstairs, because there was a dedicated space for having a drink and smoking.
We stayed for only 2 nights, and on our second day, when we went beck to our room at night, we found out that the room hadn't been cleaned: the bed was not made, the towels not changed ecc..
The receptionist that night was very kind and he gave us towels but the room couldn't be cleaned and he offered us the possibility to have our breakfast at the bar since we had to leave early and we couldn't wait for the buffet at 7am. (We could notice that it definitely wasn't the first time this situation happened, he wasn't surprised by the fact that the room hadn't been cleaned).
BUT, the next morning, the other receptionist was very rude and, after explaining what happened, he only gave us the choice of taking the croissants for take away and he was very upset because we should have waited for the buffet.
He didn't apologize for the inconvenience we had the previous night and not even a discount on the price we had paid already.

The only positive thing was the breakfast: the food was good and we had enough choice.

I would never go back there.

This is a great hotel about 5 minute walk and 15 minute subway ride from the center of Rome. The area isn’t fantastic but isn’t sketchy.

Bed was quite a nice surprise in terms of comfortability but only came with one pillow per person.

Check in was easy, breakfast is an option but we didn’t try it. We did have a couple snacks and coffee as well as $2 beers from the bar.

Would stay again for sure.

I really appriciate for the staff but rest of the things were extremely awful! I was so excited to get in my room, first second when i stepped in that i realized someone smoked cigarettes so heavily in the room. There’s no way that you can even breathe in the room especially a person like me that who has chronic asthma and an allergy to cigarette. They don’t even have a smoke detector in the hotel rooms, that’s pretty much illegal! there’s not much to say, if you’re okay with that go ahead and rent.

This is a motel, not a hotel. Does not look like the photos. People screaming in the parking lot at night. Located in unsafe area, go to google street view to see for yourself. I left after one night and they won't refund the other 3 nights and blame it on Expedia. Expedia blames it on them. Just stay away.

The hotel is very clean and cozy. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is fine because there is a Metro station 5 mins walk so you can easily get to the city centre in 30 mins. The breakfast does not have too many choices, but you do not die starving. It is amazing for the price. We loved the pastries. Comfy beds, clean, lovely garden so you can relax and enjoy a drink. And the most important, lovely people. Thank you everyone! We will definitely return on our next visit to Rome.

The area the hotel is located in is very far from the city center and I didn’t feel safe there at all especially in the evening,

The breakfast was TERRIBLE, no variety food was cold and tasteless

The reception took my passport as a deposit to take a 3 pin to 2 pin converter to charge my phone.

The room has no windows

The room was dirty and when we asked them to clean the didn’t even change the sheets or clean the floor, they only re-made the bed!! The sheets were dirty! i wonder if they were the same sheets belonging to the former visitors!

Most staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms were cleaned everyday when we left the hotel. The location is close to Rebibbia metro station so it was convenient to access the trains without the expensive cost of a hotel more central to Rome. The hotel was located on a main road, so if any window was opened you could hear the loud traffic all night (and even with window closed it was loud). Wasn’t any windows in the room apart from one above the door which was small, but air conditioning was in the room. Was raining most of the week but I believe the terrace would have been nice to relax on sunny days.

Day clerk not so friendly, but businesslike. Close to the underground station. Only issue was AC not working correctly. Wasn't too hot out, so an open window was fine.

The property was very nice, and reasonably priced especially for Rome. The employees who worked there were incredibly helpful and friendly. The only downside is that it is a bit of a ways from the central city, a short metro ride but it precludes staying out too late. There are some nice restaurants a short walk away (mini pizza comes to mind) and you don’t need to worry about it being a tourist neighborhood.

Ok stay, Service (house keeping) needs improving

We stayed at this place for about 6 days. Upon entry to our room, we thought the place was okay. However, for the first day, there was no hot water for a shower. This was fixed towards the evening of that day. On our second day there was no house keeping done. I called to advise and I was given some new towels and they indicated that they would talk to the cleaners. On our fourth day, there was no house keeping again. We did call again to advise. Shower was very small. WiFi was slow. No lifts. However, on the positives, the place is close to the metro and also very close to the bus stop which can get you to the city.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The breakfast was a fantastic selection although I did have to pay 5 euro for it. Make sure to get a first floor room because I don’t believe they have elevators unless you don’t mind going up and down the stairs with your luggage. The room was nice, clean and updated. The staff were helpful enough to give me some Advil and let me borrow siccors and a travel scale. It’s also a 5 minute walk to the train which is the last stop called rabbibia. I have zero complaints about this place and would def stay here again

If the idea of visiting Rome is to live like the Romans, then this is your hotel. It's a little and comfortable hideaway from crowded central Rome and the bustle at the many tourist spots. It's a 5-minute walk from the Metro, which is about 15 minutes to city center. But what a breath of fresh air in this crowded city! Hope management can work on more adequate cross-ventilation for the rooms. Whatever shortcoming is made up by the pleasant staff. Nicholas at the front desk and the breakfast lady easily stand out. Pls add the breakfast to your booking. It's a comparative great bargain for Rome. Will certainly stay here again.

Just spent the last week at this hotel. Clean, comfortable and great staff. Only downside was the size of the shower, small shower. If you want something in Rome that isn’t in the high tourist area this is the place. Short walk from the metro station, everything you need close by like 24hr mini mart and a grocery store plus a place to buy a quick bite of pizza or a post office. Felt very safe with the locked gate at night and 24 hour desk staff

The hotel is out of the way. But the hotel staff was very helpful and showed me how to get on the metro. So easy and so cheap! And not to mention so close. I did not like the idea I had to turn in my key everytime I left my hotel room. I did not want anyone having access to my room nor the responsibility of remembering (I forgot and had to turn around a few times) and I didn’t like people knowing I was gone. But the rooms were nice. AC was blasting yay. The morning I was leaving to the airport, the breakfast lady didn’t show up. No coffee no bread, nothing. I asked when she would arrive and The guy said he didn’t know. And that was it. I’m like, at least have coffee. They have a full machine behind the bar and I couldn’t get any coffee unless I paid. I just wasn’t feeling the vibe. He was inconsiderate and nonchalant. I just left early and didn’t want to deal with it, plus I needed to get breakfast. So, hotel was nice, staff was overall know except that day. I would stay again, but ima need then to communicate better and stuff.

Great Value for money, comfy large bed + clean.

Clean Rooms. Shower didn't work, and was told to wait for maintenance man after weekend but then with some pressure they changed our room. Staff very friendly and helpful and speak English. Thin walls, had to call reception to get them to ask reception to call them and stop speaking so loud so we could sleep. Nice surroundings - decorated. Large comfy beds. AC. Not much to do in the hotel / local area. No window in the room apart from the entrance door which has a window but in- with tinted glass (and blind). Very close to Metro Stop Rebibba Blue Line - easy access to City centre (20 mins journey - 1.5 euro ticket single one way). Came from CIA airport: 1hr10mins journey: bus 720 CIA to Laurentina, then Metro all the way to Rebibba). Overall considering what we paid - Great value for money - not amazing but its clean and friendly and good public transport access which was as much as we can expect for what we paid. Probably would stay again if just looking for a place to sleep and shower and then be out all day.

This was a great place. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Around 24/7 if you need them. Provided maps to the city and tips to getting around, etc. Really helped in any way we needed- ordered take out for us when we arrived late and restaurants were closed, helped set up private transport to FCO. Very reasonably priced for what it had to offer. 2 minute walk from Rebibbia subway station which allowed us to get everywhere

The hotel advertised on their website for coffee machine tea etc and a safe. Non of which are actually there. When an enquiry was made they said they didnt have it yet. They could have offered free tea for our room as an apology but didnt. Staff friendliness was varied.

Rooms are clean, small, lack of full size mirror, poor breakfast which is not included, water is extra, taxes on top at the beginning, they call a counter with one choice of beers and one martini choice a bar,
The room was very noisy due to renovations, when asked to switch rooms, in return I got a room where I can hear the metro underneath and all the cars passing by on the streets because it is right next to a HIGHWAY.
No sleep, wife felt sick after their lousy breakfast, overall would not return there.

Awesome hotel !

Our stay here was incredible. They greeted us and provided maps and places to visit as we visited Rome. They provided breakfast for a small fee . It was totally worth every penny. The room itself is very spacious with a private bathroom and shower. It had AC and a TV with lots of channels. The hotel is super close to a metro station. Maybe 5 min walk to the metro. The people in the front desk were super helpful and knew both English and Italian. They helped us to order food in one night and call a taxi for another night . We printed our tickets and used their computer . They were always willing to help and make us feel comfortable. Ludivico was extremely helpful and super nice. He went beyond his duty to make us feel at home. He would smile and say Good afternoon. He would ask if we had any questions or if we needed help. He would explain things we were confused about. For example the menu. He would translate it for English and place the order for us over the phone. He was an excellent host. I would recommend this place.

Ok hotel. Very, very basic. No windows in rooms just a door. Clean though.
At check in we asked for a second sheet as there was little on the bed and were told it would be €20 extra. Extra pillow? €20 extra.
We were asked for €48 city tax at check in by Nicolas and were told \"it is against the law to pay by card, it has to be cash'
He then asked for city tax again at check out.

The walls are paper thin. You can hear every conversation in adjoining rooms. Every tv. And unfortunately we were next door to a snorer so we had that for a few nights.

Neighbourhood is a complete disaster with almost no restaurants or shops around. It's quite far from the Rome you want to visit too though close to the Rebibbia metro. The only downside is Rebibbia is the very last stop on the line so far from any amenities.

If you want clean and basic then I'd recommend. If you want literally anything else, look elsewhere. Hotel is new so there was also some construction going on some mornings.

Nice hotel, close to a tube station, amenities...

Staying at the hotel for four days was a great time spent. We were so welcome that sometimes felt we were at home. It is a cosy, clean and organized hotel, the staff is friendly and willing to help whatever you need. The receptionists in special Lucovico who we had more contact with were awesome, they gave us a very special assistance.

We would recommend this hotel to all our friends and family members. Congratulations guys and thank you for all you service ; - )

Ok hotel, but the pictures are not how the room looks like at all. Our room was dark without any light in. There’s a “window” to have some air in the room located in the door only. Looks like there is a view in the pictures showing at the site. Some far from the main attractions of Rome, closest metrostation is Rebbibia, end of the line. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, but the smell when we checked in was absolutely horrible. Probably the cleaning detergent they use that smells bad.

Die Fotos der Unterkunft entsprechen nicht der Realität. Es wird zwar durchweg renoviert, aber für die Fotos wurden wahrscheinlich nur die besten Zimmer genommen. In der Anlage selber wird nicht wirklich gepflegt. Irgendwelches Zeug liegt rum und Tische rosten. Die Polster der Außenmöbel sind voller Katzenhaare. Alles in allem ist der Preis für 5 Übernachtungen mit 610,-€ ohne Frühstück überteuert.

Nella descrizione ci sono ristoranti nelle vicinanze a piedi “ visto la scarsa comodità per arrivare in auto” prezzi molto simili agli hotel del centro con zero comfort.
Camera non finestrata e accessori bagno vecchi.
Da un hotel tre stelle che chiede più di 84 euro mi aspetto di più.

Accoglienza, Servizio e Pulizia eccellente. Unico neo, trovasi in quartiere fuori mano con pochi servizi (niente Bar, Ristori o altro). Per fortuna la Struttura e' quasi attaccata alla linea Metro che in dieci minuti ti porta in pieno centro.

Muito bom!

Cafe da manhã excelente,com muitas opções e comida deliciosa. Hotel com instalações boas e moderno, único problema foi o chuveiro que estava com a vazão de água baixa porém sem nenhum problema.
Longe do centro e atrações turísticas mas fácil acesso com o metro.
Por fim, recomendo demais!

Hi, No Elevator in this Hotel. They were kind to carry our luggages up and down if we ask hotel people.Hotel room fragrance smell were too strong. Breakfast was good except for coffee. Thanks.

Al mattino non c'era acqua calda per la doccia, il lavandino aveva certamente bisogno di un disgorgante poiché si accumulava l'acqua, la TV non prendeva il segnale. Il resto ok.
