The Tide's Inn is the ideal Parksville hotel to call home while visiting Parksville and the surrounding area of Vancouver Island. Our Oceanside Parksville accommodation is right next door to the world famous Paradise Mini Golf and Fun park, which provides hours of family fun.
You'll receive Free Mini Golf. A short walk through the property takes you to one of the nicest, safest, beaches on Vancouver Island.
This Parksville Accommodation is within walking distance of many restaurants, ranging from casual to fine dining. For those who want to stay closer to home we have a bbq / picnic area for the use of our guests.
For those with pets, we are also pet-friendly, with four rooms set aside for our four-pawed guests and their families. Please note that the Tide's Retreat - King Room does not accommodate pets.

First I have to say we have stayed here a few times now and the staff are so friendly and accommodating, definitely 5 stars for them. We took advantage of the free mini golf included with the room. You can tell that the Motel is slowly making upgrades to certain things, like outdoor seating/ BBQ area which was nice. I have to say though that although our bedding was clean, our room lacked cleanliness, there is definitely a need to improve on that. Our room unfortunately smelt like stale smoke and dampness, we came home with everything smelling. They say no smoking in the rooms but unfortunately people were. Also there were people above us in the back of the building with music blaring until 2 in the morning. At this time we are unfortunately going to be looking for another Motel to stay in on our next trip. Hopefully things will get better with the Motel and we may consider checking it out again at a later date.

The property is dated and somewhat run down. There was orange gunk growing in the washroom. The mattresses are lumpy and thin. Think \"$99 WalMart special\". I have rarely been less comfortable at a hotel. The mini golf next door plays loud music all day and until after 10PM on Friday and Saturday. There are not enough outlets in the room. Check in and out were smooth.

I had a fall on the stairs at the hotel due to a tripping hazard. I notified two front desk employees, and reached out several times via email to ask about what they could do to rectify the hazard. It has been almost a month with no response, I am quite disappointed. Nobody even asked how I was doing.

The staff is impeccable so welcoming and always there for you. They go above and beyond. The snacks, coffee and unlimited popcorn was a hit with all of us. Having the mini golf park and laundry facilities in the castle next door was a bonus. Reasonably priced games and your mini putt game is on them when you stay with there neighbors. :) Very happy with the dishes, utensils, toaster etc.. made us cut on expenses. Parksville beach is 4 min away and you can walk for miles in the hot sandy water. Amazing place for kids of all ages. Recommend this inn. Will be staying there again, please change your mattresses ;)

I was a bit taken back by this place, as we expected more for the price point. The lady who checked us in was nice, but the room was not up to acceptable cleaning standards. The bathtub had a couple of dead bugs in it upon arrival, The hand soap was watered down so bad, I had to get my own soap for handwashing. On the first night, we were going to sit outside in the gazebo and bbq area, however the garbage bins were right beside this area of the building and they were overflowing with garbage, and I mean overflowing. The two bins were completely full and there were garbage bags all around the bins. The garbage bags on the ground had actually been torn open, most likely by rodents. For our entire stay, we slept on top of the blankets and I barely slept, because I felt like my skin was crawling. I could not wait to get out of that room. The only good thing about this place is the free mini golf across the street: This was way overpriced. The parking lot is also a nightmare if you have a truck.
