kitchen in room was great had nice fireplace, balcony and soaker tub was nice. didn't get to enjoy and relax as I got glass in my foot first night and found more glass in room as we looked around. manager was amazing and has booked us in a suit for my fiance birthday and she dealt with it right away and I'm very satisfied how she dealt with it

Nice kitchen with all essentials. Large sitting area and dining table, accommodates easily 3 to 4 persons, with one closed bedroom and the murphy bed in the livingroom. Staff is kicecand cordial. Fourth time staying here. Always a good stay. Clean and well-appointed suites with a nice ocean view. Kitchen is sufficiently setup/stocked if you want to cook your own meals. Lots to do on the grounds (good facilities) and a short walk to the beach. Beach is really lovely. Really nice gift shop on site too.

I had such a relaxing stay at Tigh-Na-Mara! I was impressed that despite the size of the property, it remained incredibly quiet and peaceful throughout my visit. The scenery is absolutely stunning—being right there on the ocean is a total highlight. The Grotto Spa was an experience unlike any other; I’m already planning my next trip back just for that.

Check-in was a breeze thanks to Tyler—our one-bedroom unit, with a kitchen that faced the water and was very comfortable. We've stayed at Tigh na Mara before, it is a beautiful hotel with cabins, pool, hot tub and workout area. The number of trees surrounding the site makes you feel like you are really in nature with the comforts of home.

I asked if it was possible to switch rooms, and the front desk staff spoke in a very unfriendly tone. It made me feel like I was asking for something unreasonable or trying to get a free upgrade, which was not my intention.
We are three families traveling together, and I only asked if our rooms could be in the same area. He replied that the hotel has 200 residents and said he could only check if I had 15 people. The way he spoke was very mean and dismissive.
Later, I called again to request changing from an ocean view room to a non-view room, which is a downgrade. He said he would check. When I called back about five minutes later, he said, “We just talked one minute ago,” in a very impatient and rude tone.

The room is clean and spacious. Parking space is in front of our room. Very quiet and pleasant place to relax. Staffs are friendly. Grotto spa is nice and clean. If you’re interested to take the dine in package, make sure your robe is dry because it will take you 1 1/2 hrs to finish the whole small serving course.

When we checked in it would have been good to have known the next day we could have had spa treatment at half price. The three of us would have been interested in that and frustrated that we were not told at time of booking in or any information in our room.
The room was dated the bathroom lacked soap, tissues, The door had some damage to it where some hooks had obviously been and fallen off and holes were in the door. The door at the bottom was so ratty and the taps hot and cold indicator were just placed on so every time you turn the handle to get water they popped off.

The property is beautiful and the beach access is fantastic. We did the Dip and Dine package at the Grotto Spa as well which was lovely. Our room was in the Jedidiah rooms (studio with a kitchenette)—it was nice but unfortunately couldn't sleep well either due to the bed or lack of AC (warm sleeper). Overall great stay though!

I like the forested surroundings and the accessibility to the sandy beautiful beach. We were on the first floor and unfortunately we could hear the guests above us walking on the floor and moving the kitchen chairs. Also, it was quite loud when the cleaning staff were cleaning the unit above us.

Well the shower was moldy and it was definitely super misleading on the website i thought our bungalow was on the beach, the grotto had canceleld our reso for the spa dinner so we went to the other place and our food was terrible this was supposed to be a couple get away and it was just over all very disappointing experience the staff was great though no conplaints in regards to the staff members
