Excellent location, actually \"glued\" to the ramparts of the old town, it's just a short walk to the old town with all attractions, restaurants, museums, and shopping.

Great base to explore Toledo

Convenient location

Our room was nice and the location of the hotel was great! Close to the town and we walked from the train station taking about 15 minutes. Also the hotel has a nice view of Toledo! We did have a sewer type smell coming from our bathroom, however, that we thought would dissipate but it didn't unfortunately. Not sure if other rooms had the same situation. The mattresses on the bed were rather hard so it was difficult to get a good nights sleep. All in all would stay here again for the location.

The hotel must've undergone extensive renovation in recent years as the furniture looks new. Our room was cozy but adequate for a short stay. It has a French balcony with an unobstructed view of the new town. The hotel is conveniently located between the bus terminal and the old town. Using the escalator system, all attractions are easily accessible from the hotel. The continental breakfast is freshly prepared by the staff upon your order, and the staff are very friendly.

Recommended hotel - would stay again

Nice clean hotel in a good position for exploring Toledo. Close to the foot of the elevator to take you up to the old city so no need to climb any steps. Short walk to train station. Very helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Had everything we needed for a short break.

Great hotel to explore Toledo. Parked at the bus station for free and walked in (about 10 minutes). Rooms were nice, with lovely views over the city. Very close to escalators that take you up into the old town. Laura was great - she seems to do everything - everywhere we looked she was there. Very friendlu and efficient. Breakfast was nice too.

Great location.

Doesn’t look the greatest from outside but inside it was spotless. All COVID precautions were observed. We had a lovely stay. The parking was close by and in that garage there were escalators that took us right up near the center of town. The breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced.

Excellent location, short walk away from escalators leading to old Town. Pay parking on street could be a challenge if not there early enough. Front desk staff were very nice and spoke good English. Breakfast was good, excellent coffee. Our room was clean, had basic amenities, unfortunately for our trip the people next door were very noisy. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was good except wifi. The second day morning wifi was down and didn't fixed until we checked out the next day.(The entire hotel internet was down including reception.) So we had to go to the BurgerKing to connect the internet. BurgerKing's wifi was fater than McDonal's.

A very nice little hotel. A nice central location in old Medina. Lots of nice scenery, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The staff is incredible, as they are the owners as well, and look after their guests with enthusiasm.

Great location, would stay again

Hotel Medina was in a great location right outside the main city walls. This was nice because we could easily walk to the train station and into town for the sites. We had a room with two twins; it was small but clean. We were on the first floor, so our window was barred and opened onto the street. There were heavy blinds and the room could be very quiet, however the room was quite warm and stuffy so we had to open the window a little, making things extremely loud at night. The bathroom was adequate, though the shower support was broken so we had to squat a bit to shower, and the blowdryer didn't work--it overheated after about 5 seconds of use. The staff quickly switched out the faulty hair dryer, but the new one was just as bad--I think that they need to just purchase decent quality hair dryers! The beds were comfortable enough, though pillows dusty. Was very nice to have a refrigerator in the room, as well as adequate lighting (not always the case in Spain). Also, everyone was helpful and friendly. I would stay there again for the location alone. (I imagine that if you have a car in Toledo, however, that parking could be a challenge)

Small but practical room with cold fridge and AC

The room was very clean. It was small but very practical. Refrigerator was really cold and the A/C was really cold which I find it rare for Europe hotels so two thumbs up there. The hotel staff were friendly. Just that depending on your room you may hear people passing by in the adjacent streets during the night.

Handy for the centre

The hotel was in the old town and a 5 minute walk into the centre of Toledo. The Hotel was clean and tidy. Some of the staff didn't speak much if any English and the breakfast was very basic.The room did get quite hot at night even with the AC on but not unbearably so. On the whole a fairly good 3* hotel. Would stay again.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was set up for my husband and I, and our adult son. Although a little tight, we were comfortable. The hotel is charming and the staff, especially Laura, was amazing! They bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and to make our stay memorable. The hotel is just several yards and an escalator ride away from the historic center of Toledo. It was a jewel of a find!

Nice boutique hotel in a good location

Location is very good. Walk just a few minutes to reach the escalator to Zocodovor Plaza. Room is small but clean. It has mini refrigerator and kettle with tea and coffee bag, which is a big plus, as not many Europe hotel and hostel provides those. There was a light smell of smoke in the room even it is a non smoking room. Receptionists were polite and friendly and provided us map before we asked for it. Just a tip: hotel can call taxi for you. But beware you might be overcharged by pickup taxi. Taxi out of train station only charge €5-6 to get to the hotel. Hotel called taxi for us and also told us it cost about €5. But the taxi driver insisted to charge us over 8 Euros, which was 50% more. It was not a big deal but unpleasant experience.

Hotel is run by a group of employees. They are nice snd do their best to help you. Hotel is confortable but not luxury. It is close by the stairs that takes you right to the plaza. Parking is cheap, €3 per day
Breakfast is €4 or 7 depending onthe tupé of breakfast. For 4 you get coffe or tea, croissant and fresh fruits & yogurt

Very Enjoyable Place to Stay

The hotel was perfectly located just outside of the old city, very close to the main square (Zocodover). The hotel staff were extremely attentive to our needs. When my fiance got sick (she caught a bad cold) and we needed to change our train tickets the attendee at the hotel was able to get in touch with the right people to figure out what must be done and let us have a late checkout in order to give her some time to rest. They let me purchase a glass of orange juice after the restaurant seemed to be closed. The breakfasts were, extremely enjoyable, especially the beautiful view from the balcony terrace and the unlimited bowl of fruit, which accompanied the selections. The hotel room seemed very authentic, quaint and comfortable, though it could have used a new coat of paint.

Olor a cañerías en la planta baja donde estaba mi habitación. No me explicaron que había un código para entrar al hotel por la anoche y pasé bastante angustia por unos minutos sin saber que hacer. Poca amabilidad de la recepcionista que se encargaba de abrir de noche. Desayuno muy básico y con bollería industrial. La ubicación está bien pero no lo recomendaría por lo mencionado anteriormente.

Final tiene pero en la calle, que por lo general esta llena, no es tan facil dejarlo ahi, o hay que aparcar en el del centro de convenciones que esta muy cerca pero que cobran 16 euros diarios, osea que el hotel no tiene estacionamiento es lo que entiendo yo, tiene muy buena ubicación eso si, la atención me pareció un tanto desagradable por que al comentarle al señor De la Recepcion acerca del estacionamiento se molestó, el desayuno es muy sencillo pero sirve, no volvería ni tampoco lo recomendaría.

Der einzige Nachteil den ich hatte war, dass mein Zimmer recht eng war und nur ein sehr kleines Fenster direkt über den Bett auf Gehweghöhe zur Straße raus ging. Dafür hat man beim Frühstücken eine spektakuläre Aussicht.

Petit hôtel, simple et propre, bien situé mais à ne pas recommandé du fait :
-petite chambre côté rue avec lucarne au dessus de notre lit donnant sur les pieds des promeneurs
-Mauvaises odeurs dans la chambre
-Une télé à écran plat fixée sur le mur de côté et non de face!
-Pas de support pour les valises que nous avons dû poser au sol
-salle de bain vieillotte, douche ridiculement petite
-Prix trop élevé par rapport aux prestations proposée

Pochissima attenzione al cliente! Decisamente NO

Check in e accoglienza molto tiepidi e poco professionale e non amichevole. Consigliato arrivare in taxi o bus dalla stazione dei treni, non a piedi con le valigie. La nostra stanza accanto alla reception e ai bagni, non è stata di nostro gradimento. Non credo sia stata l'unica stanza disponibile, visto che siamo arrivati presto. ATTENZIONE: il letto matrimoniale misura appena 135 cm: anche per due persone piccoline e non corpulente non è assolutamente sufficiente per dormire comodamente in due. Siamo in vacanza, non in un campo di sopravvivenza. La stanza inoltre corrispondeva all'ultimo piano ed era molto calda, l'aria condizionata poco regolabile puntava direttamente sul letto. La pulizia per fortuna ok, però dagli scarichi del bagno usciva uno sgradevole odore di fogna...quindi,
Che lastima, peccato poteva andare meglio, molto meglio. Per fortuna eravamo in vacanza e Toledo è molto bella. Questo hotel ed il trattamento che ci ha riservato decisamente NO!
