Staff could be nicer, not the customer service we are used to. We had issues with check in. Also one of the lights in the bathroom didn’t work and we advised the staff. Nothing was done. We didn’t complain anymore because we only stayed for one night so it wasn’t worth it. One plus of this property is the location. You are in the center of everything. Worth the stay in the end

Stayed here 2 nights in Oct 2023. Hotel was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the location as we could walk to all top activities. Staff was very friendly and useful. Breakfast was great !
I recommend this hotel for tourists in Toledo.
No on-site parking.... but large public parking nearby.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They helped us with trains and taxis. The area is great for walking and very near to the alcazar. A taxi cannot drop you off at the door since it’s on a very small street. Be prepared to roll your bags but not too much. The rooms were clean and although small and a little outdated it didn’t matter to us since we were out most of the day. They don’t have a fridge and the tv is small but we didn’t care. Lovely place to stay.

We were 3 staying in the same room, the main bed was very good but the other two beds the mattresses weren’t good at all, the springs were so bothering in the body, I could feel every spring in my back or when I slept on my side, I am not that tall, 5.7” and my feet were hanging :(

Great service - beyond the call of duty....

The hotel part was great - well organised, clean, efficient and all round very professional. What made this stay speciaI was that I had an old tooth problem which decided to break and required emergency dental care - not only did they call a great (and cheap) dentist, the receptionist actually walked with me to the dentist - getting lost in Toledo old town is an occuptional hazard even for the locals - introduced me, translated for and made sure everything was ok. I ended up checking out a little late as a result of all this with no questions asked.... I don't recommend you go breaking your teeth, but if you do I recomend you do it when you are staying at this hotel... I was really well looked after when I needed it most.

This is a great hotel with a fantastic location for seeing historical Toledo. The hotel was very clean and our room was very nice. The beds here were super comfortable and we slept great. The location is probably the best feature of the hotel because you are a short or reasonable walk from all of the major sites. You are also close to public transportation of all kinds. A couple things to keep in mind: first, the description says all rooms have a balcony but we only had a window; second, the breakfast is good but fairly basic compared to some other hotels we’ve stayed at in Spain. All in all though this is a great place to stay and I definitely recommend it.

Estuvimos 2 noches, para la primera tuvimos una habitación ruidosa, extremadamente ruidosa, se oía el ascensor, un ruido de motor muy fuerte, a la gente hablando, solicitamos que nos cambien y no lo hicieron, NO DORMIMOS NADA. Recién al día siguiente otra recepcionista nos cambió. Muy mala experiencia. La habitación número 1 no se puede usar.

It is a very basic hotel. You get your bed, a bathroom and a TV. The internet SUCKS. Housekeeping does a good job, but the place is older, so it looks run down because of age. Staff is helpful-ish. They will reboot the internet, but can take up to 15 minutes (not including the time you are waiting for them to pick up and it's all static on the phone, so they can hardly hear most of the time. VERY ANNOYING.) The internet went out often too.
Otherwise, the location was great--right in the heart of Toledo. There are no views from most rooms, but I had a juliette to be able to see down the street. I liked that.
Oh, you will need to push your own luggage from the taxi stand. There is no way to get door to door service at this hotel. If you travel with a lot, realise you'll be hauling your stuff for a walk on cobblestone for about a city block, slightly sloped.
You can also hear people in other rooms. I heard someone having sex and someone knocked on the wall when I was playing music during a shower. I could also hear the plumbing in other rooms. My room was big though, but the bathroom was old. The door hit the toilet when I open it. The towels were borderline--they should get new ones soon, because they are getting hard and overworked.
If I went back to Toledo, I wouldn't stay here. Not terrible, but not amazing. Basic. Book ahead if you want more. I didn't, this was what was left.

I booked despite so negative reviews as I thought they were outdated... but ...
Internet is total rubbish. Impossible to use over a computer so forget about being able to work from the room.
Comfort: I do not think it is acceptable to have a broken light switch and the shower was not the best layout... Sorry did not take pictures.
The breakfast: I strongly suggest you save some money and go somewhere else as the quality and variety is not the best... Take into account it starts at 8:00AM so not the best convenience in business trip!
Location: I booked there because I wanted to be able to walk after work and visit. Excellent location!!! plenty of very nice restaurants 5 stars for location! Unless... you have mobility issues as the last 50 meters have to be done on foot.
NOT the hotel fault but keep in mind: there are small streets so if people are noisy late at might... you might hear the noise.

A hotel to avoid

The room had no temperature control. So we opened the windows and just people talking in the street below echoed up into the room so loud we could not sleep. The shower had the most slippery tub in the world and only half a curtain so water got everywhere and the hanger for the shower head was broken. The breakfast was horrible and we had prepaid 8 euros - we could not eat the day old eggs, dry cake, rancid salami, and powdered coffee and powdered milk or artificial juice drink.

3 star hotel for an overnight rest

The hotel is located in a small street next to the square, if you are driving google map would possibly bring you to somewhere which is too narrow to drive through, and the best option would be getting through from the Museum (museo del ejercito). We are the only guest staying in the hotel, and is an usual old fashioned hotel that you would find in this ancient city.

Close to alcazar, but little sleep here

Check in was slow. The clerk helped give map and directions to the people in front of me, but dealt with three other people who just walked up, before checking me in. Bed upstairs from me squeeked all night, and the people upstairs sounded like they were stomping on their floor/ my ceiling. Thin walls, morning clerk was smoking indoors at desk, just cannot recommend this place.

Fabulous view of Toledo

Upon arriving I attempted to leave my bag until check-in. I was told that I could leave it in the lobby, which had been unattended when I first arrived. Rather, I stored my bag in a locker at the bus depot.
Upon checking out, when I asked if I could leave my bag until returning to Madrid in the afternoon, I was directed to place it in a room, which obviously was intended for left luggage.
Given that, the Hotel was clean and cared for. The balcony and window views were impressive. Centrally located, excellent value for the money.
My return journey down the hill to store my bag influenced my overall and service ratings.

We arrived during a heat wave. 108 degrees. Our room's air conditioner was broken. The clerk at first said he couldn't do anything until morning. Finally, he found us another room. The beds are super hard, typical of Spain. The location is great. Parking nearby.

Despite the location and cleanliness for price value, the young front desk clerk was fluent in English at check-in, yet couldn't even understand \"hot water\" the next day. Very snooty and highly rude for tourists who obviously won't be laden with a Spanish vocab. She understood everything in English, yet replied in Spanish. While I do agree that making an effort to learn Spanish before travelling, it is essential for hotel staff at a tourist destination to have at least a good command of the international language (but she did understand, which only made things worse for her).

If you are looking for a clean hotel in a great location, this is an excellent choice. You can't drive up to it and it's hidden down an alley, so make sure you are careful with the directions. Because of the location, it was very quiet and we slept well. There are no frills and the breakfast looked very basic, so we skipped it.

The hotel location is perfect, for walking and discovering Toledo. The staff helpful and attentive. Very little English, and we worked it out with my translator . The room and hotel immaculate. The internet almost non existent in the room. The room was very dark, even with all lights on, and the shower head broken . I might stay again , if I could get a room with a better shower and internet service.

The room was very nice and spacious, location was great. Paying for breakfast was a mistake - it was nothing like the picture advertised in the lift (no fresh fruit or veg, coffee was instant). We could have done much better in any of the many cafés nearby.
