Overall, the hotel was fine, the lobby is nice and everything looks fine on the outside. But the rooms need some upgrades, the sheets and towels as they are stained and no longer white, but gray. Our worst nightmare was the air conditioning; apparently, they added something to give the room a scent, and it was too much. It was suffocating, and we tried to sleep with masks on, but it didn't work. My wife is asthmatic and started coughing nonstop. In the end, we turned off the air conditioning and opened the window. Although it was hot, it was manageable. However, around two in the morning, a couple in the next room, who also had their window open, started arguing and continued until four-thirty in the morning. At five, we packed our bags and left. Sorry, but never again. The worst experience; we traveled for a month through Spain, visiting many hotels and hostels, and this was the worst.

Lovely old hotel in historic city

The girl on the check-in desk was wonderful and was like that during my stay. Unfortunately she had her days off before I left and I missed her sunny disposition. Breakfast cost was €10. Breakfast lady was lovely. Sites were within walking distance from the hotel. Room was comfortable. No tea or coffee making facilities within the room.

This Place Is A Dump!

This place is a dump. Reception dude told us curtly when we tried to check in that he was busy and that we had to wait. We then realized that he was watching TV on his computer. The room reeked of mildew. We found a “real” hotel, pulled our stuff out of the Eurico and had a great visit to Toledo. We gladly let them keep the rental fee. DON’T EVEN CONSIDER IT!

Fantastic Hotel! Perfect for those who need a good bed and a clean bathroom at a good price. Very clean and quite. Cool AC. Location was great near the Cathedral and found it centrally located and easy walking to most attractions. Surroundings felt very safe at all times. Staff was very friendly. We did not try the breakfast service and preferred eating out. Good modern elevator for the suitcases or tired legs. Will definitely recommend.

We stayed at Hotel Eurico in November, so Toledo was cold. The comfortable bed got a little cold in the night too, though the hotel was generally warm, but we didn't use the extra blankets that were in the cupboard. Nonetheless, we would stay here again, as it's in a great location for the price, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. A couple of things to note, there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, and the bar shown in the Hotels.com ad is not to be found at this hotel!

Quiet, easy bilingual check-in, super dark rooms! Great location, within a 10 minute walk of everything. Being close to the cathedral gives it an easy target point in case you get lost in the windy streets of Toledo! I would definitely stay here again. Great value!

I was pleasantly surprised knowing how old and crowded Toledo is to find this hotel with character and modern amenities. It deserves three stars for its location- it couldn’t be more convenient for visiting the Cathedral. Everything else is an easy walk if you don’t get lost in the maze of medieval streets. You don’t want to try to get there in anything but a compact car because the streets are so narrow but my gps got me straight to the front door. We had to unload and move the car quickly because I was blocking the one lane street. Parking was not convenient but not a problem for us. Do not expect luxury but if you understand that it’s hard to find a big fancy hotel in this location and you’re willing to sacrifice space for being in the heart of a fantastic place to visit then I recommend this hotel. I know that if I go back to Toledo I’ll stay here again.

I liked where the property was located. There was no wifi in my room. One of the receptionist, Fernando was not accommodating. I requested a free breakfast for the inconvenience. No dice. He was rude, patronizing and unprofessionaism. Like many people, I chose this place for the price. We had a heat wave. There was no refrigerator in the room or hotel for us to use.

Yeah Alphonso!!!

Alphonso was over the top with service and suggestions. He arranged a guide for the alcazar which was a moorish mosque and later became a cathedral after many expansions thru the centuries. He provided us with suggestions to eat as well. The hotel is very conveniently located in the historic city. Parking is provided by the hotel and is accessed there by Using an elevator. He so graciously retrieved our car at check out as spaces is very limited in their garage.

This is a great little hotel to stay in, It is right in the heart of the old town and surrounded by all the history Toledo has to offer.
The bars and restaurants are all very close and reasonable in price. If you arrive by train then get a taxi to take you to the hotel as they will find it quicker than you! Once there it is easy to navigate your way around.

Tiny room in a good location

The hotel is half a block from a major square, and a block and a half from the main cathedral - so the location is pretty good. The room was clean and functional. But, it was small, and felt smaller than it actually was. Some of the staff were very friendly, some definitely weren't. The price is good. BUT, I got the impression talking to other people visiting Toledo that you can get a better room for the same price.

Small but clean room. Balcony with view. Minimum toiletries present. One sachet of shower gel and one tiny soap per day was insufficient.
Basic breakfast included. Appeared that receptionist was in charge of providing breakfast, thus long waits for coffee etc even though only a few customers was annoying.

A pleasant stay

I had room 102 on the ground floor for two nights. It was large and comfortable. Only one other room in that area of the hotel so there was thankfully not much noise from other guests.
Wifi was good.
The air conditioning did not have temperature adjustment and was set at very cold, so I had it on and off during my time in the room.
The check in lady was pleasant, however at check out it was a different lady and she was pretty rude!!

Walk Through History

First of all, in most medieval Spanish cities, don't drive ! The streets are exceedingly narrow, parking is a nightmare and an expensive racket when you find a garage.
Next time we'll fly to the airport southwest of Madrid, take the bullet train to Toledo, take a cab to the Hotel Eurico and walk to a lot of the 103 historical marvels. The hotel was very pleasant with friendly staff. It lost a point on the weak WiFi (\"WEE-fee\")

Nice hotel, good location.

Only had a night in Toledo, and Eurico was the perfect place for it. It's not right on the main plaza, so not too crowded, but is a stone's throw from the Cathedral, and right between the Alcazar and El Greco and Sephardic museums distance-wise. Room was comfortable, although a little small (it's Toledo, so nothing is huge in the old city). I would stay here again if I'm back in Toledo. (Quick note if you take a cab and don't speak Spanish - Show the driver the name written down or give a street name - English speakers may pronounce it in such a way that sounds like you want Hotel El Greco to the locals.)

The hotel stuff was very nice and always ready to help. The only problem was that they almost don't speak any English and it was hard to communicate with them. The only problem with hotel himself is that the rooms are very small, 3 by 3 meters. Overall it is excellent hotel and I recommend it.

it was good enough for the price. the location was great, it is on a quiet street yet it's very close to cathedral and shopping streets. the room was very plain but it was clean. one thing which let me down was that a receptionist had this attitude of 'i don't want to know about you'. no explanation about breakfast, internet, nothing on arrival. another receptionist in later days of my stay was very helpful and printed out some documents for me.

Fantastic location but a bit worn

The interior of the hotel has some charm but feels a little worn and the staff was efficient but not especially friendly. Its location is very close to the cathedral. However, the street was noisy with cars (including early morning street cleaners) and people, and the church bells marked every 15 minute along with the hour. I felt like the price we paid was fair but I probably would not return.

It was a very comfortable, clean and centrally located hotel. I was so relieved to have an elevator after weeks of having to lug my heavy luggage up steep narrow and multiple stairs. The room was also very quiet which was a blessing, had the best nights sleep I had in a while. Breakfast was well catered for (including pieces of fresh fruit) and reasonably priced. I personally did not like the coffee but that is being picky.

I would recommend the hotel to others and stay their again.

Great hotel in Toledo

The Eurico Hotel had the best location in town- right in the center of town next to the cathedral. The staff were very kind and helpful and the rooms were very good for the price. The breakfast was okay except for the lousy coffee- necessary because no other place in Toledo is open before 11am. The hotel has no parking on site, so you need to hoof it through Toledo's super-narrow streets with your luggage or else take a taxi. We parked in the wrong parking lot- the hotel gives you a discount if you park in the Alcazar Garage.

The hotel was great especially for the price we paid. My only complaint with the hotel was the front desk recommended a restaurant in Toledo called Lizarran on Toledo De Ohio which was absolutely one of the WORST restaurant meals I have ever had anywhere. It was completely inedible (I ordered the paella and grilled lamb). My recommendation? Stay at the Eurico which is very conveniently located 1 block from the Cathedral but don't count on the staff for restaurant reservations!

Really close to Cathedral

Eurico Hotel was very near down the hill from the Cathedral in Toledo. Take the bus #5 from the Train Station to Zocodover and walk road to the Plaza in front of the Cathedral, follow the street down a hundred feet and take the left fork. From there, look 2 doors down and there is Eurico Hotel.very close (all paths really are roads shared with cars. This makes better sense once you see the town. The Cathedral can be seen from the hotel roof deck. We had the wooden window that stepped out over the front of the hotel and could view the church tower. The Alcazar and Cathedral are lit up at night and can be seen from the roof.deck. We selected a room with breakfast for convenience and it was sufficient for our needs - breads, cheese, sausage, boiled eggs, fruit, muesili and coffee. The room had a decent bed, large bathroom, and small flat screen TV high up the wall. We would recommend this hotel. It worked well for our 2 nights. Everything is in walking distance once you figure it out. Please note that Toledo was relatively quiet in mid-March 2011 and being less crowded is a good thing. We were lucky to have a bit of gray when we arrived, but no rain and plenty of sun in Toledo.

Narrow, Hilly Road Leads to a Comfortable Hotel

Signs to the hotel were easy to follow but if driving, pull your side mirrors in to get through the very narrow, hilly road that leads to the hotel! Once you're at the hotel, it's very convenient to the plaza and cathedral, however, the hotel does not offer parking and public parking can be a hilly and long walk away. We checked in, dropped off the baggage, and parked. Since we were so close to the sites we just walked around during our 2 day visit. This worked well. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast had a nice selection (eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt, etc.). The room was very clean but had hard beds. We stayed 2 nights and each morning around 3 am the streets were washed. Also, since the cathedral was just down the road you can hear the bells chime all the time. If you're a light sleeper this may be an issue. Overall, we recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect but the very best part was the staff. [...] greeted us with such a warm friendly smile. She helped us with dinner reservations as we were trying to find a vegetarian restaurant for my daughter. She helped me with the internet and stored our luggage for us after we checked out but still had time to tour the city.I would recommend this wonderful hotel and feel that we were so fortunate to find such a perfect place to stay. especially

The hotel was great. The location, right in the middle of Toledo, is not somewhere you would want to drive yourself, but it is great once you're there. We could walk pretty much anywhere in the old city. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. We had one mixup involving calling a cab in the morning -- we left some notes with one lady at the desk about our morning travel plans, and then gave an update to someone else later, but didn't make sure that the update got attached to the original notes... It all worked out fine, in the end, though.

What an experience

Nice hotel not far away from the train station by cab. The hotel is in a quiet part of Toledo close to the beautiful cathedral. What an amazing place for sight seeing Toledo is. The staff at this hotel are helpful and courteous, our room was clean with a large bathroom that included a bath and shower. We had a nice view of the surrounding hillside from our room. I would definitley stay here again if visiting Toledo.

Ubicación excelente dos cuadras de la puerta del Sol. Se llega prácticamente a todos los lugares fácilmente a pie. El edificio es viejo pero limpio. Una calle muy ruidosa como son todas las calles del centro. Recomiendo llevar tapones. Si no quiere ruido. vete lejos si quieres algo central o pagas el triple por un hotel insonorizado o estás bien aquí. Siempre con tus tapones de oídos.

El cuarto es amplio limpio muy elemental, pero el baño es nuevo. Tiene un refrigerador y un microondas que son útiles. Por el precio que se encontró en este periodo me pareció muy accesible . Los empleados no hablan muy bien el español pero se logran entender.

Muy céntrico, a un paso de la catedral. Habitación muy cómoda y desayuno completo. La única pega es que toledo es un caos para aparcar. Por lo demás, un hotel para repetir

Hemos ido de fin de semana, se ha estropeado la calefacción de la habitación y no nos han dado ninguna solución. Una embarazada durmiendo en febrero en Toledo con abrigo puesto y 3 mantas. Ninguna respuesta por parte del establecimiento.

Localização ótima. Parece que foi reformado recentemente, na verdade até me surpreendi pq paguei muito mais caro na viagem por hotéis inferiores.

Excellent value for the money

Excellent value for the money. Right in the city center. Taxi always arrived within a few minutes when I needed to go outside of the city center. Very good breakfast. Clean. Friendly personnel. Comfortable bed. Small room but room had everything I needed.
