In a good location opposite the bullring with easy walking to the bus or train station and the old town. Room was spacious with separate seating area. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice of hot and cold food. Staff very friendly and helpful

A nice hotel near the old city

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bath nice and relaxing after walking round the city.
We cannot comment on the breakfast because we ate at a cafe across the road. The only criticism we have is there isn’t anywhere to have a relaxing drink outside, something that would have been pleasant after a day walking around the city. Car park was useful to us but at the weekends parking in the local streets is free.! In general the hotel is well situated for the city, has parking but unfortunately no where to relax.

Having arrived from Valencia, staying at a 4-star hotel, the contrast was marked. The place is clean, though the decor a little tired in the rooms, but this is clearly not a 4-star hotel.
Despite Expedia claiming rooms are sound-proofed be prepared to be woken up at 7.30 every morning by the screeching of chairs on the tiled floors and the perpetual slamming of room doors. I was on the ground floor - the floorplan is all open from lobby to rooms, which makes sense given the climate - but very frustrating to have all the noise.
Secondly: no coffee-tea making facilities in the room is poor.
Thirdly: no amenities - no pool, gym or even a garden.

Two night stay as a stop off on our drive back to France/UK. Pleasant quite traditional style hotel with classic rooms dark and cool. Good breakfast but the hotel has no restaurants and
no tea or coffee in rooms and not available at all even from reception. We asked for a cuppa one night and the nice lady receptionist took us through to the restaurant next door to get us two takeaway drinks! Not what we expected. The price was good so it was just an ok stay. About a twenty
minute walk into the old town - of you’re going to the Alcazar then prob a taxi is best. Would stay right in the old city next time.

Needs Refurbishment

While appreciating this is an old hotel the standard of furnishings is very poor. At these prices one expects better than old, chipped furnuture and stained upholstery.
The staff are very helpful and efficient but we were initially allocated a small dingy room at the back. When I said I had booked a superior room we were moved upstairs to a larger, front facing room. The furnishings however were no better and we had to pay a supplement.
The SMART tv was not connected to the Internet which meant we couldnt access English tv.
The hotel is also opposite the bull ring where a loud rock concert played the night of our stay.
I imagine there will also be noise from bull fights.
The breakfast was very good value and the staff work hard but we wouldnt go back.

The hotel was great. The location was perfect and safe, because I was able to walk everywhere from there, even to the train station. The room was clean, it offered a safe box as well. Toledo is a magical place and I would definitely come back to this hotel, next time I’m in Toledo.

Not worth the prices

Loation was convenient for the centre of the old town but actual location was nothing special. Room was OK but paradors are better. Only serous complaint was the food in the cafeteria which was ridiculously expensive and decidedly average quality. We will pay just a little more next time because you get better value. One good thing was the number of tv channels that you could get in english as long as you can fettle the remote.

Beautiful hotel that had unexpected touches

I thought this hotel would be more like a chain, but it was unique and in a historic building just across from
The bull ring. The room was spotless and spacious, with comfortable bed. The parking is not attached but it is very close, and not too expensive at 5euro/day. It was a very pleasant 10-15min walk to the walled city and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

Lovely Toledo

Had a wonderful time in Toledo as there is so much to see and do. There is something for everyone. Had some of the best food and wine in our three week trip of Portugal and Spain.
The area around the hotel is a bit scruffy which reflects on the hotel. The hotel itself was very clean.

A good place for smokers.

No parking. No valet parking. Room stank of cigarette smoke with burn marks on the bathtub - no room change offered, blamed the 'Spanish People'. No atmosphere - very 2*.

Well designed hotel

Convenient hotel

Ideal hotel in all respects if you want to stay out of the old town. Easy to find. It is a 15 minute walk to the gates of the old town or take a number 5 or 41 bus outside to the Zocodover, the main square for just 1.05 euro!
My only negative comment would be the charge for parking at 15 euros per night is very excessive and should be factored into what is otherwise a very reasonably priced hotel.

The location was great for our visit. It was just outside the walls of the old city and near an Tourist information office.We had requested a room with a double bed.The hotel didn't have that but for an additional fee that also covered parking they provided a very nice large room with a king bed.Parking is a bit of a hassle because it is not at the hotel directly but at a public garage around the corner. You can probably park cheaper yourself. The rates include a buffet breakfast the quality of which was in the middle of the places we stayed during out 3 week trip.They do a large tour bus business so breakfast can be crowded especially around the coffee machine.

Non working A/C and WIFI, we were double charged!

Upon our arrival, the room's air conditioned did not work. When pressed, the staff declined to give us a different room to withstand the August heat, claiming the hotel was full, (when clearly it was half empty). The WIFI was down all day until midnight, so we had to stay awake until then to be able to receive emails.

Finally, even though we had paid in advance through Expedia, the hotel charged our credit card again for the stay, claiming that they had not received payment from Expedia.

A very disappointing stay in an otherwise beautiful city.

Ok, except for the WiFi!!!!!

We upgraded to a \"Premium Room\", as the desk clerk told us it had better WiFi. Well....that may be true, as far as the signal was concerned (although that was still an issue). What made it totally infuriating, was the fact that the WiFi was set up so that it required a login (one per device), and then logged the device out after 5 minutes of inactivity. That meant that our phones and tablets were logged out as soon as we put them down...and sometimes even while you were reading something. Since we use our tablets as a part of our decisions about things (where to eat, etc.), it was VERY annoying. Even the desk clerk (a very nice, helpful woman) said that is was very annoying to her for her own phone. Otherwise, it was an ok, hotel, though a bit far from the old quarter (though not bad if you took a taxi).

-Location: 3-5 minute cab from train station, right across the street from the bullfight ring, about a 10-15 minute walk to the foot of the hill at the gates of the old city, so not absolutely ideal, but pretty good
-Facilities: Very \"relaxed elegant\" hotel in a recently renovated old building. Lobby and facilites nicely furnished. Room was clean and comfortable, not opulent. A/C was good. Internet conenction and speed were bad. Bistro style restaurant with street tratoria connected to lobby, good food and inexpensive. Meeting rooms downstairs which looked adequate for small groups. Continental breakfast was very mediocre, though set in a beautiful old library room.
-Staff: very friendly and helpful, with excellent English

Overll, great value, nice place. If you aren't a strong walker you might want to stay closer to the old city since its a bit of a hike up the hill, but buses and cabs can also get you there pretty easily. I would genrally reccomend doing Toledo as a day trip from Madrid, but if you do decide to stay overnight this is a good choice, and certianly a lot cheaper than Madrid

Good value

Secure parking at a charge. A bit of a walk to the centre uphill about 15 mins but very pleasant. Breakfast offered at a discount at the last minute so worth bargaining for and very nice organic juices etc though nothing cooked and no eggs! Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff.

Toledo Hotel

A computer is available free of charge allowing convenient checking of e-mail. Room was good sized and nicely appointed. Only negative was the location. It was at the bottom of the hill and we had to either walk up the hill or take the bus to the old part of Toledo. We did both. No restaurants, other than in the hotel, were close.

Rooms were large, the hotel was quiet and we were able to easily find on-street parking. The rooms were HOT when we arrived and failed to cool down even to outside morning temperatures despite keeping the A/C on during our 12 hour stay. The refrigerator also failed to cool items adequately. We saved a little money in this hotel outside the old city though would look for other options if we were to return.

Good location and fair price

Fifteen minute walk from the old town; you can walk or easily take the bus. Good location. If you have a chance, try to see a corrida in the arena just in front of the hotel; you have to live this experience when you're in Toledo. The restaurant, next to the hotel is fantastic. Try the lamb, their speciality. Very very good. The staff is very nice. Easy parking. We recommend it.

Parking in the hotel lot was excessive ! Cost of parking for the night/day was double the cost of parking in the other big cities we stayed at in Spain ! But that was the only bad experience at the hotel. The hotel and staff were very good. And breakfast was better than most other hotels in Spain, both cost and quality.

Value for money

Very comfortable and spacious room in quiet hotel. Situated in a great old stone building just near the entrance to the old central part of Toledo, it took 5mins to walk to the large arched gateway to the older section of town. The room was very spacious and well presented and staff were helpful. Overall one of those very comfortable places to stay when away from home.

There was no service that would qualify this hotel as a 4-star hotel. There was no concierge, no bell-person, no valet parking or at least parking. The receptionists were curt and appeared as not wanting to be bothered. When we informed them that we had problem logging on with their wi-fi, they gave us a blank look. Then we asked if we could use the computer in the lobby, they said it was not free but would not try to get the wi-fi system to work.
This hotel is at best a 3-star hotel. It was a popular weekend and difficult to find other hotels so we had to book with this place.
Our 3-star hotel in Granada was so much better; wi-fi was open, and they had their own parking lot. It was just as clean and comfortable.

Fine Hotel

This hotel is not in the old, walled part of Toledo. It is across the street from the bullring, which is walking distance from the old city. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and both the breakfast buffet and dinner at the hotel restaurant were excellent.

A equipe teve boa vontade, porém, o hotel apesar de ter um prédio lindíssimo , está muito precário e precisando de reformas. Reservamos dois quartos q deveriam estar próximos mas um deles estava com um cheiro horrível de esgoto, ao trocar o outro estava com cheiro de cigarro, outro com uma cama muito ruim, e por fim, ficamos em outro andar longe de nossos filhos e em um quarto sujo e empoeirado O café da manhã é bom .
