While the hotel was terrific during the day, it was exceptionally loud during the nights due to bars and clubs next door. The noise would continue until 2:00 am every evening. I strongly suggest bringing earplugs if you have any interest in getting any sleep.

Red Coconut Beach Hotel is a great choice if you want to stay right in the heart of Boracay. The location is excellent directly on White Beach, Station 2 close to restaurants, shops, and nightlife.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the stay, which really made a positive difference. The room was clean and comfortable, and the beachfront atmosphere was lively and fun. Breakfast and the restaurant area were enjoyable, especially with the beach view and evening entertainment.

The only downside is that it can get quite noisy at night due to the central location and live music, so it may not be ideal for light sleepers or those looking for a very quiet stay. Some facilities are also more mid range than luxury.

Overall, a very good hotel with an unbeatable location and great service. Perfect for travelers who want to be close to the action and enjoy a vibrant beach experience.

The first room we were given, there were mosquitoes and the circuit breakers tripped 2 nights in a row. The rooms were clean. Staff sprayed mosquito spray the first time we complained and on the 2nd time we complained, they moved us to a lot better room with a view. Then our stay got better. Breakfast buffet was okay but not great. All in all, staff were all nice and happy to help except for one guy who would most of the time be stationed in the omelet area who have a little attitude. Location right in front of the beach where the action is.

This hotel is in a very central position close to everything. It’s comfortable clean and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. I booked a pool view room. Not realising it would be on the ground floor. (However I don’t think security is a problem here). The restaurant offers great food. It’s open to the public so don’t forget to book as it gets very busy and you might be disappointed if you don’t. In summary. A excellent place to stay. It’s expensive but worth the extra.

Pros: Location is great - right in middle of main shopping, beachfront, and nightlife. Breakfast and food during other times was great. Service was fine.

Cons: Pool is small. Was put in one of the ground floor rooms that shares wall with nightclub next door. No wall pads or other ways to dampen music at night so loud music for entire first night. Loud enough to feel as if you were in the club itself - even heard DJ announcements clearly. Staff changed rooms for me next day but no compensation for the loss use of first night. Seems unfair given I could not enjoy the use of room, there was no warning at check in. Only reason rating is not higher.

Staff was wonderful, so kind. The rooms were fine, the problem was no matter what you did there was and all over the room because it is right off the beach. They did clean the room if needed but that’s something to know. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed it every morning and when we did have lunch of dinner there it was just as good. I do recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a place that is convenient to access the beach and all of the restaurants and shops at station 2. Don’t forget,
Station 2 is busy so the Red Coconut was our best choice in all of Boracay.

I stayed there a few times over the years and they continue to make improvements. Some things are the same and they should be. They just recently added an elevator, which makes it really convenient because the weather is so hot. All the rooms have been upgraded very comfortable Nice amenities and the air-conditioning works fabulously. Really nice fire dancing dinner show that even attracts attention from people passing by. Get there early and get a good seat.

This place has a great location by the beach. You can literally just walk out of the hotel and onto the beach. The staff are very helpful and the hotel restaurant is very good. We had breakfast included during our stay and it was well worth it with a wide choice of options. And you get to see a fire dance each evening.

We were in room 402 which had a beautiful view of the ocean. The one minor issue was the low water pressure in the shower. Though we managed fine.

It definitely made our stay in Boracay even more enjoyable having this hotel as our base. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Boracay again.

The hotel advertises a swimming pool but what they fail to tell you is that it is far too dirty to swim in & virtually impossible to get in to with no where to sit around it. They have fire shows at night on the edge of the pool & the kerosene they use is probably the reason why the water is so dirty & murky. They have constant grinding, banging & welding going on round the pool area during the day & nightime this is replaced by banging music from adjacent properties until at least 02.30. In fairness the rooms were ok it was just everything else around the room. We paid for 5 nights & even though this was non refundable we left after 1 night to just escape the madness. Breakfast was really poor with items left uncovered with small black flies on the food. So disappointing

Other than that, it was an ok hotel…not very happy about the VERY noisy renovation work happening DAILY between 0900-1800 tho! Location is great. Right by the beach. But that means you'll have to walk from the main road down a narrow road to the hotel.

Hotel does two fire shows every night. And have music playing to around 11pm. And the rooms aren't sound proof. So you will hear the singing and music in your room until late night.

Rooms were super clean. Staff are wondeful. They also provide beach towels, one per guest per day.

Security deposit is a bit high at PHP 1000 per night.

We were booked to stay here for 3 nights. The property during the day time was ok. the location was very ideal as it was in the center of white beach with many restos and bars nearby. HOWEVER. please be aware that there is a live band EVERY NIGHT. Our room was situated on top of the stage and my head was booming trying to sleep at 10pm that night! The whole room was shaking all night. Even when the band died down around 11pm, there is a night club adjacent to the property that was going boom boom all night!
This property is definitely not the place to stay at if you want to enjoy a quiet evening at your hotel. We checked out the next day and asked to be refunded theremaining nights, which the \"Manager\" agreed to. And...more than a month later, still waiting on the refund SMH.

Everything was excellent and we appreciate the amenities especially the free cold water dispenser on every floor. The only thing that was a mishap was that one of the front desk staff mixed up our transport pickup upon checkout. It was a mistake on the hotel's part, but Maye and JP (morning shift front desk) were able to correct it early in the morning and helped my boyfriend and I along the way back to Caticlan Airport for our Manila flight at noon. Loved the friendly service, the food, bar, homemade ice cream, the fire dancers show every night (Must See!) , and the Christmas special buffet and show too! Highly recommend this hotel regardless of the situation in the last morning. Be prepared to walk up stairs, especially if you're at the top floor. The ocean view from our balcony is breathtaking and beautiful though!

A sleep-deprivation experiment gone awry

Worse experience ever, and we have travelled a lot. We even stayed in 10$ shacks by the beach with just a fan for airflow.

The positive, the staff were friendly and when we asked to change rooms, the manager accommodated us, but this was after complaining about the construction taking place and our view of a blue tarp, not poolside or oceanview, as advertised.

The hotel should have notified us of the construction and offered a free cancellation or a discount if we chose to stay.

The negative. This is truly a 3-star. Old furniture, a \"queen bed\" where my feet hung off the end (i'm 6ft) and the mould, still in our suitcase and our clothes

If you are 20 and like to party, it's the perfect place. But peace and sleep, forget it. On top of the jackhammers, buzzsaws, banging from construction, there is permanent loud live entertainment and booming music from the morning buffet until 11:00PM, every day and night.

After that, when the hotel finally pulls the plug on the live entertainment, your headache becomes a migraine, because the divebar beside the hotel has laserlike boombastic dance music cranked until 02:00 - 03:00am. No matter where you are in the hotel, you hear it.

I saw a lot of other guests walk around zombielike with sleep deprivation upon their wincing faces when returning to the hotel, so others felt that way.

Within days we booked another hotel where we could sleep and used this hotel as our change room by the beach. Best investment ever!

Stayed 4 nights. Summary: Stay here if you want to PARTY and don’t need any sleep/rest. Cons: slow check-in, staff requested cash security deposit which is rare in other hotels since room was already pre-paid. Multiple power outages during check-in. No elevator in the building so beware if you physically can’t climb the stairs. The WORST is super loud music past 11p from their restaurant and bar. My last night, it went on past 1:30am with no advanced warning. The only given reason was “it was a special event”. At check-out, they claimed I drank a can of soda from a mini-bar which does not list the quantity only pricing. Luckily, I took a pic of the minibar contents the first day. Pros: great location at station #2 near D’Mall and right on the beach front. Offer beach towels. Friendly and polite staff.

The location cannot be beat! Hotel is right on the best part of the miles long stretch of beach. The service and staff are just delightful. Especially Sheila at the restaurant/bar. Nice touches like a beach bag in the room for use during our stay was appreciated. The fire show and daily/nightly live band were amazing. We had a great time.
The hotel room itself is good but not wow. I was a bit disappointed in the “sea view” as my view was just a peek-a-boo. if you are someone who goes to bed early, bring ear plugs. Live music right below the rooms makes it very loud.
Overall I would definitely start here again for the beach and the staff and service.

This is a great place to stay in Boracay. The staff is most professional and some of the truest kindest people I've met. I do travel the world so I'm well aware of Hotel Hospitality good and bad . you have to walk a half mile from the street to get to the hotel with your suitcase. There is no elevator or escalator. If you are on the fourth floor, you have to walk up. When I was leaving the hotel, I did not give you any assistance to get to the street half mile away. If you call the phone to the hotel, nobody answers.

This hotel is very dated. I had a premier room on the fourth floor with a Sea view (no elevators.) The room was spacious, but unfortunately it smelled very bad… Like someone’s house that has too many cats. I opened the doors to the balcony and aired the room out continuously to get the odor away. The beds are very hard. The hotel is in a good location… Right on the beach and steps from D’Mall. It’s pretty noisy at night with the noise and music from the bars coming in. That wasn’t really an issue for me, but some people may not like that. It wasn’t a bad stay, but wasn’t worth what I paid in my opinion. It just appears very run down.

Overall we had a very good stay. The first night there was a brownout, and no generator, but during these covid times... allowances must be made. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, good restaurant. The pizza was particularly good. It is hard to find decent pizza in the Philippines. Large rooms, good aircon, great shower, comfy beds. Oh, a nice couch, and a balcony overlooking the pool and the beach. I definitely recommend the Red Coconut.

The staff was great as always. I was pleaantly surprised upon check-in when one of my two rooms was avalable. We arrived at approximately 1030am so getting into a room was fantastic but not expected as we planned to drop our luggage at the lobby and start our vacation adventure while waiting for the rooms.

Breakfast was a good way to start the day. Eggs to order and selection of sides was outstanding. Wr enjoyed watching the sunset from the Cocobar as well.

They offer an amazing breakfast, with a bunch of varieties.
Also, they have a bar and a restaurant that you can enjoy during the rest of the day or evening.

The staff and location are excellent. Even with less than ideal weather, being right on the beach was perfect. Nice spread for the breakfast buffet as well. Room was not quite as quiet as hoped for. Had an end room that had thinner windows and balcony doors. One night it was a band somewhere close and another it was an argument in an adjacent alley. Overall great place though. Just might try to pick a different room next time.

Great Place, Good Food

It was an excellent hotel. Their breakfast is better than most (i recommend an omelet as they were particularly good here). There non-breakfast food was good as well. The hotel is located right on the beach and next to D-Mall (many little shops).

Firstly Boracay....i been here 4 times now and the place is so much cleaner than before. The beach and swimming in sea are so improved and worthy for the clean up they previously undertook.
Now for the hotel - Red Coconut - 2nd time I stayed here. The location is fantastic - centrally located close to mall d’boracay and all the restaurants/bars.
The restaurant staff could not do enough for you and a special mention to both Kuya Joel and Kuya Alpe for their fantastic service and help.. and going beyond their duty with no trouble at all in a couple of cases.
The food is excellent and a large choice of drink selection - but beware of their ‘brain train’ which includes 10 different spirits... i had to drink it with a bottle if water.
Reception and housekeeping staff also delivered their duties as expected.
We had to check out at 4:30am for our flight and the hotel even provided an unexpected packed breakfast !
The only one criticism i would have is of the owners... they should update the rooms... although it does have the Aklan influence, i do feel some modernisation would not go amiss. The floor boards in our room were no longer joined in alot of places.
The location, food and staff though override this.
Highly recommend booking this hotel. Many thanks for our few days away.

Excellent Central location of this hotel along the fine white beach of Boracay. F & B & water activities are within walking distances. One must try the sailing into the sunset; absolutely unforgettable 🍹

We booked 2 rooms in this property because of the location. We normally stay in a higher end hotels in Station 1, but this time we wanted to be closer to the action (shopping, bars and restaurants).
We were pleasantly surprised at how much more spacious the rooms were compare to the newer hotels and that the staff were consistently accommodating, helpful and some of them even anticipate your needs. Jona at the reception desk even offered to help and call for me when I was having an issue with our transfer, Arjen and Anthony at the restaurant were consistently helpful and even anticipate our needs. Our kids even made a suggestion to return at Red Coconut on our return visit. They made our 5 days stay so much more special!
