First the staff was incredible every single interaction i had was welcoming and professional. Vincci was especially helpful and knowledgeable about the things Borocay had to offer that was in our interests.

Now for the hotel. It needs a lot of work, I mean a whole lot. A lot things from floors, walls, trim, fixtures, needs a lot of attention. Even in the restaurant upstairs the floors are in bad condition and needs to be replaced. Cosmetics issues everywhere and it makes the hotel look really bad. Not sure if it is the owners just being cheap and not caring but with a staff life that the hotel should match their energy. They take pride in their job and the owners should take pride in their investment. Also the security that stands all day should have a rubber mat to stand on during their long hours.
I was told they plan to install elevators in the future and that will help them a lot but again the hotel needs a lot of TLC to give it a better appearance. The hotel is in a great location next to the mall, beach, and all types of restaurants. I hope they fix up this hotel and having it looking nice and not neglected.

I requested to speak with the manager about shortening my 18-day stay due to an emergency and leaving a week early. I was repeatedly told to come back or call again because the manager wasn’t available. I was then advised to contact my booking agent to amend the reservation, which I did. However, they also couldn’t reach the manager.

The next day, I received an email saying my refund for the 6 unused days was declined and I would still be charged for the full stay. I don’t understand why I was sent back and forth and made to waste time when the decision had already been made. A clear, upfront answer would have been appreciated. Because of this, I can’t recommend this hotel.

The hotel also needs upgrades, especially the gym equipment, rooftop, and broken room blinds. The staff, however, were kind and did their best to help.

The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of the D’Mall area, the epicentre of nightlife in Boracay! Staff was amazing and helpful during our stay. Although the rooms furnitures (i.e. tv still analog and no microwave) and some of the facilities (i.e. gym equipment) need updating.

Location is very accessible to the shops and restaurants as the hotel entrance is right within the D’Mall area. There’s no roadside entrance though so you’ll have to walk here from the main road or from the side streets where cars are allowed in. But this was not a problem for us as we were traveling light and stayed only a couple of nights.

We booked thru Expedia 3 rooms Sept 20-22, 2025. Paid for 3 rooms with 2 queen beds . At Expedia it advertised it sleeps 4 but when we arrived at the facility I was told the rate covers only 2 person. I was very disappointed with my experience as I had already paid ahead of time. My family and I were left waiting in the lobby for hours, and no one from the staff checked in on us during that time until we decided to pay. While the staff was friendly, it didn’t make up for the poor handling of our situation. In the end, we were told we had to pay extra per person. So, if you're traveling with a large group, I would not recommend staying here you’ll likely end up paying much more than expected.

We had an amazing stay there. The only concern we had was the sewage smell in our room the whole time we stayed there. But other than that, it was all worth it! The staff are friendly, and when you need help, they come right away. Location-wise amazing! It's within walking distance to the shopping places and to the beach. We ended up leaving after 1 night. They charged us an extra $100 for a room that fit 4 people yet insisted that our kids stayed free. Therefore, our kids were not entitled to towels. We would have had to of paid for a towel (pool and bath) for each of them every day. The condition of the room was extremely run down, not at all what is represented in the pictures. The shower wouldn’t drain so we could only shower for 2 minutes at a time. We brought out concerns to them and they did nothing about it. When we decided to leave early, the my refused to refund the remaining nights of our stay. All in all, a very stingy property that does not advertise truthfully. Would not recommend staying here.

This property is in a great location in D’mall. The gym is very nice and so is the pool. I don’t recommend the breakfast there. You can eat somewhere nearby with better food options. The staff is very nice.

I did the 1.5 hour massage and it was heavenly! The pedicure is not a spa pedicure so don’t expect a lot for 950 PhP. Overall, I enjoyed staying here.

do not understand the high rating for this hotel. I paid for deluxe room, no view and could not even open the curtain because they was a constant flow of people walking right past the sliding door. . The bed was hard as a rock… don’t they realize most western travelers want at least medium firm or softer? There was a horrible band played every night on the rooftop cranked up, way too loud playing boring classic rock .impossible to escape the sound.

First room given to us had a big roach greeting us when we opened the toilet door. That alone was already enough to make hubby want to pack up and move to another hotel but instead i requested for a room change thinkin maybe it's not all that bad. We were upgraded to a premier room on the 2nd level. Big spacious room. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing about it. The aircon was dripping, rainshower head was rusty, bed mattress was so hard, the sink's drain within the room have a bad cockroach smell emanating from it and the tv counter top have ants crawling all over. Location was the only good thing of this hotel as it is right inside dmall. Plenty of food choices around the area and shopping too.

The hotel is modern. They provided toiletries and even when we asked for resupplies. Staff were nice and helpful. The moment we came to the room it was warm. Well, they should have at least turn the aircon on when they have guests coming but they did not. We had to call the receptionist and we have to give extra 200 pesos for extra key to be left in the room so the aircon will stay on. That 200 pesos will be given back on the time of departure which is good. Their breakfast was plated. Wish they have dried fish and pancit bihon in their breakfast. We surely be back in this hotel.

Great hotel right smack in the middle of the D’Mall. Fabulous facilities and location. All day menu. Awesome rooftop pool with evening buffet dinner and live music. Very helpful and professional staff. 2 minutes walk to the beach and Surrounded by a hundreds of restaurants, clothing shops, ice cream parlours and bars. 3 minutes walk to the main road for a E-tricycle or other transport. I was only on the island for two days. The Tides was clean and accessible, easy to find and very close to the beach. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was simple but also very good. Few hotels in the area have a fitness room and also a pool. Lots of food places all around. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying on the island.

Great location, clean and well equipped room.

Location is great. Right at D Mall Station 2 with the rooms facing away from the main pedestrian walk, hence is relatively quiet. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Bed is abit hard and uncomfortable though. Service is great, complimentary beach towels and cocktails at the bar is provided. Airport pick-up can be arranged for PHP1500 one way, but their response in booking was a bit slow so you would have to make arrangements early. Recommended for the price.

Perfect location right in the middle of D'mall.

Location was super convinient. But because it's convenient, the surroundings are always busy and crowded but you can't hear the crowd from in your room. So not to worry. I was staying on the first floor near reception and it wasn't noisy. Great pool and pool bar. Don't miss their happy hour 1 for 1 deal. Rooms have no view tho and there is no lift.

All prices in the local area are a bit too high compared to other tourist destinations in the Philippines. The hotel facilities are okay but pricey. Boracay island has become a place where tourist cannot enjoy their vacation due to so many people coming in and out and the natural environment not being protected. During our stay, the beach line is full of green moss definitely due to domestic wastes coming from the island. I hope Boracay's charm can be restored again like the good old days.

We had a pleasant stay at the tides. We booked the Essesntials Room. Check in snd check out was easy. Essentials room was clean and roomy, perfect for 4. Beds were comfy, small fridge, buffet breakfast and safe was very handy. Location wise it's smack in the middle of everything which was great. The only thing I disliked about our room was the shower. It looked great, but once turned on half the bathroom would flood leaving a huge puddle of water where you step out of the tub/shower(after only 1 shower). I found this very hazardous as you could easily slip and fall. I called reception a few times about it, but all they did was wipe down the floors. They didn't seem to care about my concerns at all. The shower would also turn cold then scolding hot the next minute. It was very hard to temper. Overall it was an alright stay.

This hotel is located right in D-Mall which goes directly out too beach and a great location! Whereas, it has a trendy theme and decor it is a little run-down. We experienced a room that was borderline unclean with sandy floors upon check in and moldy edges alongside the tub/shower. The faucet for the sink was completely loose almost coming out of the sink base. We had to requeset maintenance to fix it and a few other things. All in all, a good stay with the location but really disappointed it wasn't more of a W experience like it portrays.

In the Heart of Boracay

I enjoyed my stay at Tides hotel. The hotel is located in D'Mall which makes access to White Sand Beach just a few moments away. There are plenty of places to eat in the area, there are a couple of places open 24 hours (Jammerz) and ones open as late as midnight. Plenty of bars in the area for those who love to drink and party into the early morning.

The hotel also has a beautiful roof top pool and a wonderful layout.

If you want an accommodation that is near the beach as well as the mall, then this is the hotel for you...It's a bit expensive. We stayed there for one night on a weekend, with 2 double beds and it cost us around PHP2000 per head. The room size is okay for 4 people but the bathroom didn't meet our expectations. The sink is outside the bathroom beside the room's door. The Tides do not have the beach view as it is in the heart of \"D'mall\" but it is just a walking distance from the hotel..

The hotel is wonderfully situated inside D'Mall at station 2. Its so convenient to grab a bite, shop and its only a minute's walk to the beach. There's also a supermarket at the entrance to D'Mall. Sea sports activities are only about 5 mins walk to station 1. The only improvement needed is for the internet Wifi. its somewhat intermittent and at times hard to connect.
