The Diamond Water Edge Resort in Station 1, Boracay, offers three buildings. The Beachfront building is directly on the white sand beach, while the Main and Annex buildings are just across the road, a short walk from the beach with provided beach beds and umbrellas.

We are perfectly located near Willy's Rock, one of Boracay's most photographed landmarks. Our sun decks provide stunning sunrise and sunset views.

I like most of everything. The hotel is convenient.
Close to the beach. though my room is not right on the beach. Also, Transportation. It’s walkable to everywhere. Free breakfast! Not so much of a choice but I’m okay with it. Staff are amazing!.

Senior citizen got room 4th floor-No elevator,

If u are travelling with senior citizen, Do not book Budget room w/ private bathroom (non beach front). This was located at the very back ugly building that u can pass local houses. Sorry to say,look like squatter area.Very slippery small dark alley with flooded water.The room was located in 4th floor without elevator.
Do not book here it was a nightmare. If u want to changed room in lower floor main building, it has a fee for P1,300 (discounted price) How come to pay extra if same room category of Standard Room no view Main Bldg. Room size 14 sqm with very tiny toilet?
I booked this 2pax for 70euro 2nights. Yes it was cheap but so annoying not to put in hotel description no elevator & rooms is in the 4th floor & not advisable for senior
As a returning guest I hate to give negative feedback but if you are unhappy you cannot think of the positive side like concierge & some staff are nice & the beachfront rooms are amazing way back years ago, but now you can pay fortune to get for beach view rooms.

I liked that it was very clean, friendly staff, amenities in the room, even the pay items were very reasonable, comfortable bed, sheets, towels, and more. DO NOT RENT A ROOM THAT SAYS \"Partial view\" of the ocean because that is a total lie!!!! Yeah if you look through an alley way you might see the water if it is high tide. Don't stay on the second floor. The road noise will keep you awake all night.

It's a great location, it will be right in front of the White Beach (Main Beach- Station 1), the view is AMAZING, very accessible to transportation, staff service was great. However there's a few things to mention: during our stay- the third-floor & the building next to the accommodation was under construction. The noise from constructions starts at around 4AM, which we are disturbed. Second, the lock to our room was difficult to figure out at first, make sure to double check that the door is properly locked before going to bed or leaving. It is on the main commercial area, expect that the area will be noisy at night (which we don't mind). Anyways, 8 out 10 experience, thank you for our stay!

Great stay!!!

The staffs are very attentive and friendly. The room is great quick tip when going out close your door right a way becuase mosquitoes will get in don't leave it open long enough.Pinoy style breakfast is a plus. Hotel is really close to the beach perfect spot for sunset and picture close to grotto.

Nearby restaurants were top notch. Kids liked the simple pool. The beach is lovely. Staff was very kind. We were charged for a missing towel that we didn’t take which was annoying but not a financial burden. Makes me think they have issues with theft of towels which is unfortunate. Would return.

This Station 1 property was excellent. We mainly stayed here for the convenience and proximity to the beach, restaurants and shopping. This hotel provided this and so much more like 2 hour laundry service, activity booking, a restaurant next to the beautiful beach. The staff was so friendly and helpful. This place is fantastic! Filipino breakfast each morning. WiFi that works! Walking distance to everything, The beach is right across the street. You can use etrik or the Hop On Hop Off buses. You can book water activities through the hotel. We did the Diamond Yacht Cruise one evening that I highly recommend. They offer laundry services which we used twice and clothes came back fresh and folded. I highly recommend!!

SO LOUD! Traffic noise = no sleep. Not on beach.

First I’d just like to say the staff at the hotel was great. And the free breakfast was tasty.

Now for the cons - not only is this hotel not on the ‘water edge’, as the NAME claims, it’s also not really on the beach, as the Hotels.com PROFILE claims.

Booked this hotel because it was listed as ‘on the beach’. I work on Cebu City and need to escape traffic noise for a few days here and there. I wanted the sound of the ocean to relax by after a stressful week at work. Turns Diamond Water Edge lies in the online profiles and then won’t let you cancel when you discover their lie.

Their restaurant area, maybe two high end rooms, and small pool are by the beach. The 4-story hotel is in another building and is set back behind a very BUSY, dirty LOUD road that’s under construction, not paved yet. Horns, big trucks, motors revving and Traffic kept me up until 2am and woke me before 7am for 3-days in a row... even with ear plugs. Not cool. The hotel wouldn’t let me cancel or switch rooms to a cheaper non ocean view room, which may have been quieter (tho def still not quiet).

So much for a peaceful weekend away from the noise of Cebu City. The traffic noise at this hotel is Much Worse than at my condo in Mabolo. You can pay less $$$ for quieter hotels in Boracay.

No sleep = cranky me = ruined break... all because I picked the wrong hotel.

I think Diamond may pay fake reviewers to get their high online ratings... they are definitely not 8-stars for any reason, imo.
