The hotel is lovely and all staff were helpful and courteous. I really have nothing to complain about regarding any of the facilities or staff members however we had upgraded our room to a sea view room and due to the construction going on next door I have to say I believe our room 434 was probably one of the worst 2 rooms in the hotel and to know we had paid extra for the privilege was not good.
We did move rooms after 3 days and our second room was much better however I do believe we should have been informed prior to our arrival regarding the work being carried out until 23:30 one night when I had to go and speak to reception regarding the noise at which point they had security contact the builders and the next night we arrived home from dinner at 22:30 to find a member of staff outside our room again apologising for the noise and saying he would again contact security as they should finish the noise at 17:30.
I know none of the is the hotels fault but our stay was heavily impacted especially the first half by the noise you could not use the balcony as there was nothing relaxing about sitting surrounded by the noise and I'll add some pictures I also believe to call the room a sea view is a bit of a stretch I mean we could see the sea just about if you squint between the trees or zoom in on your pics so all in all I would say yes stay here but do not upgrade and wait until the hotel next door is built

We very much enjoyed our stay at this luxurious hotel & highly recommend staying here. I booked a room for my husband & I, and another for my elderly parents. Our check in was smooth & quick. The premier deluxe room with pool access that we were given was wonderful. It was spacious, had an extremely comfortable bed & luxurious amenities. Our stay included a daily buffet breakfast which we enjoyed. There was a varied selection of delicious local & American dishes on offer. The hotel staff, from the reception desk to the room attendants, restaurant servers & pool attendants were very friendly & helpful. Best of all was the fact that we could walk out to the beautiful white sand Boracay beach and see the sun set spectacularly every day of our stay at Henann!

Staff not supportive. Couldn’t get a beach/pool towel because I couldn’t check in until 3pm and I arrived at 8am, so I figured they accommodate guess going to the beach during that time.

I was told there would be no assistance provided if the tropical stormed progressed to the point that flights are cancelled or extensively delayed and I would still have to check out at 12pm.

When I returned to the resort from the beach one evening the security person asked me my room number but didn’t ask the couple in front of me. Asking for the room number was a constant thing here like I wasn’t a guess.

The food at sapphire hotel restaurant was subpar and they have signs all over that say no leftover food or you’ll be fined 300php. There’s also no place for outside food.

The room and facility quality doesn’t look like pictures! Moldy shower.

The part that bothered me the most is I placed the do not disturb light on for no room cleaning as I am particularly. Someone came in anyway turned off the do not disturb light, folded my pajamas and placed them on the dirty stained carpeted bench then took my personal pillowcase off their pillow must’ve thought about it and put it back on inside out. When I called the front desk to inquire the receptionist was not polite. She was trying to find ways to blame me and wouldn’t let me speak. I had to ask her to let me speak. Found out I did use it correctly, so why were they in the room.

Nice hotel with high end features, great pools, friendly staff and a great location. The hotel is looking a bit rough around the edges as there appears to be some deferred maintenance like on the roof overhangs and some room features. Nothing that takes away from the stay or is truly broken.

I booked six rooms for our group and we stayed for four days. Each of the four rooms had one occupant only; and the other two rooms had two occupants each. The reservation came with free buffet breakfast for two, for each room. On the day of our checkout, the staff checked each of the six rooms to make sure that nothing was damaged. This is standard practice. We waited at the van for 30 minutes, ready to go to the airport. One of the staff told me that one of the bedsheets or towels had a stain. They charged me PHP100 which I paid just so we can go. This policy should be reviewed.

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury experience. Ocean front, conveniently located next to D’mall along with a bunch of restaurants, great amenities (pools), spotless rooms, and courteous staff. Wish there more events hosted by the hotel but not a big deal. Staff also did a very thorough sweep during the check out process and found my wallet which I was very appreciative about! Will definitely be back next time I visit Philippines (Boracay)!

The only good thing about this hotel is their sky pool. The rooms and service were subpar. We also received an accusatory letter that their cctv saw unregistered guests going in our room with us which wasnt true, i called their desk and they said to disregard it. They have a charge fee if you want a massage service outside the hotel the cost of one massahe itself. I cant justify the price for the overall experience and amenities.

The room was poorly maintained — both rooms we stayed in had floors covered in dust the moment we walked in. Cleanliness was clearly neglected. The staff’s attitude was also disappointing; friendliness seemed selective, and we never once felt genuinely welcomed. It was hard to ignore the bias between us — a Filipino and Sri Lankan couple — compared to how other foreign guests were treated.

The bathroom drainage was substandard for a so-called high-star resort. When we requested a room change due to ongoing construction noise, the front desk staff, Sandra, was unhelpful and insisted we pay extra. She even refused to let us speak to a manager until we demanded it, and only then did she suddenly “find” a solution — conveniently on our last night. Overall, the experience was far below expectations, and the management’s lack of professionalism was unacceptable.

Picked this hotel for a 2 night stay in Boracay. The hotel grounds are nice and pools are nice but overall needs some upgrades. The rooms are outaded and shower grout was so dirty. There's also no water bottles in the rooms and they leave you an empty pitcher that you can fill out at a water dispenser, never seen that before. The hairdryer in the room is very old and you have to ask for an iron as each room does not include one. The area outside the hotel is dirty and there are vendors constantly harassing you to sell tours and trinkets. The whole strip in Boracay to be honest needs serious revamping. Such a shame to see so much trash everywhere. The food at the buffet is very ordinary and they have signs that say they will charge you if you leave leftovers which is very weird. The positive things are that the staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly, the beach is stunning and the grounds were kept very clean. One other negative comment is they charge half rate for late check-out when every decent hotel would do it complimentary. They also cut wifi access even though we were staying at the hotel until 5pm for pickup to airport. Definitely not a 4 star hotel but potential to improve a lot of things.

On our last night, the ceiling directly above our toilet bowl suddenly had gushing water coming out of it as well. I will start by saying that the welcome was a little tough with us being told as we came in so early that out would be a priority and they would get us the first room ready after cleaning. Well the did not happen and we spent 5.5 hours waiting for it including the 1.5 hours waiting for UV inspection weird!...
That being said the rest of the staff / hotel/ back of the house were amazing .
Property was beautiful and right on the beach. Their rooftop pool and the staff up there were awesome and their drinks amazing . Breakfast was good even though we went five days no yogurt and no gronola. Need that every morning...Needed a little more variety for the non local clientele would be nice.Otherwise again staff amazing and they all did their best. I recommend booking island hopping from hotel it was worth it. Again definitely would come back

We enjoyed our stay at Henann Crystal Sands Resort. The location was close to restaurants and shops which was convenient. We had a direct pool access room which was worth it. The room was in good condition- clean, nice linens, lots of space. Overall, the resort presented well and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Charleez was our bartender at the rooftop pool and he provided excellent service to our entire family.
The breakfast buffet was included with our stay. The food was good but it was quite chaotic with so many people every morning which made it a little stressful. Also, the constant solicitation for massage services and activities were a bother as soon as we stepped off the resort grounds. The beach was nice but it was windy which made the water rough for swimming. I would stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was clean and very comfortable.
The rooms were practical and very comfortable.
We dined at the seafood buffet in the main restaurant - which was good and had a good variety of food choices.

The lower pool was good for swimming and the upper pool was good for relaxing, having a drink or food and watching the beach.

All the staff were very good - special mention to Je Ann & Hydai who were really good with us and the rest of the family.

One minor comment was the small number of sunbeds available on the beach - however, it would be a shame to overload the beach with sunbeds...

No doubt this is the top place to stay in Boracay, sure it might be the more expensive option but the extra cost is well worth it. From the free lavish breakfast to the fast and efficient transport service to and from the airport, everything is guided. Theres always people to help carry and shuffle you from point to point allowing you to fully relax.

The hotel staff is also very accommodating and friendly. A fantastic experience.

The rooms and bathroom were very clean, room cleaning staff were excellent.

Would highly recommend this place, our stay was perfect.

Great option that puts you in the heart of Boracay! The hotel is right on the beach front. Great amenities and ideal option if you just want a relaxing holiday chilling at the hotel and not having to go to far to get all you need. The pools are probably the highlight, though note if you have kids it is just one depth therefore kids won’t be able to play on their own. Rooms were great, shower had a bit of mold but given the climate makes sense. Overall a great place and itching to get back!

Generally, our stay at this property was ok. Yes, as often touted, the infinity pool was amazing. The property itself still looked relatively new and well-maintained. The biggest letdown for us was the breakfast buffet. It's just not up to par with those at this same price point. The dining area was relatively small (although there was the usual line at the entrance and we had to wait a few minutes, their table turnover was pretty quick), the food selection was not as varied as one would expect (and pretty much the same every day, at least during our stay), and the taste/flavor of most dishes was just plain and average. Nothing stood out (well, maybe their ube pandesal, but that's about it).

There were two minor incidents that we experienced during our stay. First was when housekeeping staff rang the doorbell while we were sleeping (siesta) despite having the \"Do Not Disturb\" door light indicator turned on. The second was when we requested for a room cleaning. Housekeeping staff over the phone confirmed they'll send someone right away. We were gone for half a day, came back to our room, and it was not cleaned. These were not big issues for us, but thought maybe these need to be pointed out, particularly to the housekeeping department. There's always room for improvement. One last thing, the front desk person who assisted us during check out needs to pay attention to oral hygiene. It's a must for front desk staff.

It is not a five star property not even close lucky to be a 3 star. go to the shanri-la in Boracay if you want to see 5 star.

Service here was ok but sometimes made things difficult. could not even work out a transfer between 2 hotels in the same group. no one wanted to deal with it. The only people who did was head office but only opened from 9 - 5 Monday to Friday.

Beautiful spot but that could be said for all the hotels in that areas anf there was at least 4 other Hennans that I saw.

overcharged for what you get.

We really enjoyed our stay at Henann Crystal Boracay, we’ve stayed here many times, the check in process was great and special mention to Rheanna at the front desk, very knowledgeable and helpful, she remembers us from couple months ago that we checked in. Breakfast selections are great, our beach front view room was clean and spacious. All the staff were very attentive and helpful, definitely will be staying again at Henann Crystal Sands Boracay. Thank you!

Noisy but beautiful

Would've been a 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the soundproofing of the rooms. Hotel and staff were amazing but being able to hear our neighbors snoring and slamming doors was the only blemish on an other wise beautiful hotel.
