Everything about the resort is great, from the staff hospitality, cleanliness of the resort ,the private beach, the infinity pools, the shuttle , the breakfast buffet ( delicious and lots of variety to choose from) and all the amenities make our experience in boracay worth remembering and special. If you’re looking for an all-in-one resort experience, I highly recommend Fairways & Bluewater Resort in Boracay, Philippines. The property offers five different types of pools, each providing a soothing and relaxing atmosphere. In addition, the resort features a beautiful beach area and a sprawling golf country club, making it a destination that truly has something for everyone.

The staff deserve special mention for their friendliness and professionalism. From the shuttle drivers who courteously open the doors, to the reception team who greet guests with genuine warmth, the service is consistently impressive. I would like to personally commend Madelyn, who welcomed us during check-in and assisted us to our room. She even offered to carry our bags, which made us feel especially valued as guests.

As a tourist visiting my home country from Vancouver, Canada, this has been our best experience so far. Of course, every establishment has areas for improvement. In this case, I hope the resort enhances its internet access, as reliable Wi-Fi has become essential for most travelers.

One delightful surprise was discovering a small hidden chapel tucked inside a cave by the beach—a unique and serene spot that added to the charm of our stay.

Overall, our experience was superb. From the excellent service and complimentary breakfast to the convenience of the free shuttle, Fairways & Bluewater Resort exceeded our expectations.

The front desk was able to assign us a room in the main building which was most appreciated.
The room was close to the stairwell and air conditioning unit; however, we were not bothered by any sounds at all!
Staff was overall great.
The pools and jacuzzi tubs were well maintained

Improvements are needed with staff at the breakfast buffet. There should be more staff checking in on guests at tables if beverages are needed or any other items. There were so many staff but most were behind the bar (as we ate 2x at the outside area) and they looked like they were just hanging around or at times I saw them eating - this is not appropriate in front of guests.

Another item to change is allowing children in the jacuzzi tubs. These tubs should be for adult use only. Or create designated areas for adults only.

Perhaps even creating a part of the resort as adult only would be something to explore.

Our stay at Fairways and Bluewater was just okay! We were disappointed with the condition of the resort this time around. We have stayed there back in 2018. And the worst part of the stay was that the staff did not inform the guests that boat rides to go out was being stopped at noon due to the heavy storm!

And that the hot tub which should be relaxing and for adults was overrun with kids splashing around and using inflatables. Whilst the kid pool was empty. And the lifegaurds dont enforce this either.

This hotel is the definition of false advertising. From the moment we arrived, it was chaos. Our friends’ direct booking reservation “couldn’t be found” for half a day. The solution? A so-called free dinner loaded with restrictions that made it pointless.

Our room was filthy. I had to clean yellow stains off the toilet seat and bathroom floor myself. That set the tone.

The pools are small, outdated, and poorly maintained. The spas are freezing. Lifeguards are present, but seem more concerned about guarding towels (with a 1000 penalty if not personally returned) than supervising children. For a “family-friendly” resort, that says a lot.

The food was genuinely awful. Inedible fries, terrible woodfire pizza, watered-down drinks, and a breakfast spread featuring old fruit, soggy pre-made omelets, and crab soup no one asked for. It felt careless and cheap.

The shuttle service crams guests in like sardines just to move around the property. Comfort clearly isn’t a priority here.

Most alarming: our fifth-floor family suite had three balcony doors that didn’t lock. We have small children, including one with special needs. Fixing this basic safety issue required an argument and a scene.

The staff try, but management fails them.

The glossy Instagram images and inflated ratings are wildly misleading. We were completely duped. Stay here only if standards, safety, and service don’t matter to you.

The room is normal, everything is fine, there are shortcomings but they are insignificant knowing what country it is. But the cleaning is tragic, especially the change of bedding, in twelve nights the bedding was changed once and that was only when we dragged it ourselves. And the other three times they only ironed and rearranged the covers, giving the impression that it had been changed.

We were excited to spend a few nights here as the hotel seemed to offer a lot for a very reasonable price.

We asked for a room in the building that was most recently built, and the room was okay.

It was clean and we had a good view over the pool and golf grounds.

However the breakfast was the worst experience we had in the Philippines! The layout of the restaurant is shocking, meaning that you queue easily for 15-20 minutes with 30 people standing in front of you.

It felt like a high school lunch place opposed to a restaurant. The food were very very limited and the quality of the food was not great either.

Moving around the grounds was previously reported as fun and convenient. We thought we would be driven around in golf carts (which only happened twice).

Instead, you get loaded into a van with benches with a mixture of people.

Sometimes you would sit there in your nice clothes ready for dinner, only to realise that the benches were soaking wet from people who sat down with their wet clothes coming from the beach. I am 194cm and it was not a great experience sitting in those vans.

We were excited to enjoy the foam party, where we stayed for about 10 minutes once we realised that it was not what we hoped.

The private beach was okay, but there are a lot nicer beaches around Station 1 which is only a 5-10 mins tricycle ride from here.

In terms of staff, they were hit and miss. Some of them were great, some of them were straight away rude.

We were 'upgraded' to a villa which turned out to be as far away from the main hub as possible near the gate. The room was large, but not cleaned in a while as it was dusty, had insects everywhere and smelled strongly of mould. We requested to go back to our original booking but had to wait a day for that to happen. Next room was better and closer to restaurants. Beach was pretty, but full of rubbish everywhere which was sad. Breakfast was cheap and mostly not very nice, but restaurant menu food was pretty good.

Staff were very good. My only concern was that my son had a medical emergency due to peanut allergy (anaphylaxis) and the hotel chose to take us to a clinic with no proper emergency facility. The hotel's medical staff should be able to assess the seriousness of the medical emergency and take guests to the appropriate hospital.

Also, the hotel ignored that Expedia already charged me with extra guests fee for 2 of the rooms I booked and upon check-in charged me again for the extra guests.

For the most part we enjoyed our stay. The free breakfasts were good. The many pools were very nice. The foam party was fun, even if just watching from afar. However, it just feels like too big of a resort to have to take shuttles to breakfast or lunch or to the front gate. Most of the time the wait wasn't too long. However, during busy times, like coming back from town in the evening and of course you are tired and just want to get back to your room, the wait can be very long, and it can be a mystery how they choose who gets to go on the shuttle and who has to wait longer. Getting in and out of the shuttles requires a huge step, so it was very difficult for my senior father to get in and out of them. It would be nice if they could use golf carts to take smaller groups directly to where they wanted to go. Also, our room must have been in an older building because it was showing it's age and use (the bathroom vanity was scraped up, the mattresses were incredibly hard, the shampoo dispenser kept popping open). I'm not sure if I would recommend Fairways--if you don't mind waiting for the shuttle, then maybe this is the resort for you.

Everyone was so professional and courteous. Had Minor issues about our Premier Pool Access, though; Room 9113 (Door lock ACTING UP, wont open several times despite battery change was done the 1st time. Even prior to check out, it was not resolved. Our Overhead light bulb by room entrance was busted and so was one of the light bulbs at the balcony (pool access.) Staff addressed these issues upon our requests but it had taken some of our precious vacation time away from us. We had to be in the room waiting several times instead of having fun around the private beach or at the pool. (20 mins or more each time.) If only these rooms were inspected ahead of time, these could've been avoided.

We love the shuttle system and the shuttle crew. They made us feel special and always greeting us with warm smiles. Again, world class excellence when it comes to their professionalism. The Resort is spectacular! Paradise Cove, Kudetah District, Infinity pool, The White Barn... The Augusta Pool Bar... 💕💕💕

The room was cleaned when requested. Service prompt when needed things(towels, toilet paper, bottled water etc.). The view was nice from the patio/balcony. Kid friendly, and loved that they had a private beach on the property. Everyone was nice and greeted any time we passed by. Breakfast was kept up and had a good variety. Johnny and Aliza were helpful during breakfast. Would recommend staying at this place and will be returning in the future.

The rooms can be tidied up a little bit more and the cabinets fixed. The hair dryer in our room wasn’t working and so we reported it on our first night and they said they will come back the next day to fix it. Nobody came and we were there for 4 nights. I hope this can be taken care of ◡̈. Overall good hotel, needs some revamping and higher food quality as it’s seemingly a bit overpriced for what it should be.

The hotel's staff and security were amazing. They always have the warm and friendly smiles. Made our day everytime. Our room didn't have enough amenities/toiletries that's good for 4 people but we didn't have any problem requesting for extra. The flooring in the bathroom was a little slippery which is somewhat not kid and seniors friendly. There were multiple instances where the power went on and off. The property would have been perfect if you only plan to stay inside the hotel. But not convenient if you wish to go to the beach (station 1 or 2) or shop. Although they have a private beach but it's not as seren and clean as station 1, 2 or 3.

They charged us for they claimed a stained hand towel for 700pesos! It was a purple shampoo, the stains were not visibly bad at all and it can be washed off when you use a high steamed washing machine, which should be a requirement for hotel owners to maintain the proper hygiene of their towels. They just tried to wash it away by hand! Ridiculous! Be aware of this robbing tactics!
