When we stayed here it was undergoing maintenance. The lifts didn’t work and the rooms next to hours were being worked on - installing AC units

Our rate included breakfast - we had to walk 20 mins to their sister hotel for breakfast !

If we wanted breakfast we were asked to eat in our rooms or outside seating area - the dining area was closed. The breakfast was bought up from the sister hotel and sometimes cold when it arrived

Location was good, stafff were friendly

Terrible hotel! Never again!

I booked at the crown regency prince hotel. When i arrives at the frontdesk i was advised that they are upgrading me to another regency hotel which was the crwon regency courtyard and the lady at the fd told me that this is also located at station 2. We waited for a good 30 mins for their service shuttle that never came said it was not avail and we were assisted by their staff instead to ride a tricycle. They did not even have the decency to call me ahead of time so I didnt need to pay 120 only to find out im not staying there when i asked whats the reason she said they are trying to fix several things but there were guests there when we were waiting. After 2 hours we were finally given a room at the courtyard which was basically just rooms in a building doesnt even look like a hotel. The room is nice thou but it was a dead spot. My wifi didnt have signal and theirs were not working either. And station 2 is the end of station 2. I chose regency prince because i did not want to walk far but this was way farther than talipapa. Hot water was not working. Yellow water comes out of the bath tub and when i requested for coffee took them more than an hour to finally have someone deliver that to our room. Not my money's worth! Bad service! Will never stay here even for free!

Lovely staff not what I asked for

The staff were lovely and kind, but I had requested a beach resort with Ocean view, this was a step up from a Hostel in a noisy crowded street, a walk to beach. There was not even a little refrigerator in the room, in the tropics! No Business center, exercise room or pool.After staying at World of Dreams in Manilla I was shocked Expedia arranged this. Because people were so nice I didn't want to blame them and we made the best of it. Also, I had to sign if I got sunscreen on any linen I'd have to pay for it! I'm on an island for goodness sakes!

Web ads state wave pool and shuttle van. Staff says not true. Booked for 2adults/1child in 2 beds. However the towels only For 2ndadults. child towels etc. Cost extra. The staff at the desk were unhelpful. The guards were helpful in getting us to jetty for 8 bags that my 7mo. Pregnant wife my child and myself had to handle alone. We couldn't get help at checkout and no cart either. We had help getting In room and taking money but end of stay we felt we were of no more use 2 them and on our own in the rain with 8 bags/7mo. Pregnant woman/child in tow. I was forced to extend for 2 days due to sick child and bad weather. it was a nightmare compared to other hotels we visited on island in past trips. They would not honor price with a visit to desk. Staff said redo online or the fee is more than 2x first rate. That took time. they couldn't verify so I was made to wait 30/40 minutes before being allowed to keep room that I already showed Cnfirm.# to. I also had to forward my email proof of payment w/personal info. as checkout time neared I didnot know if they expect us to vacate room till they find info I already gave them. The hotel is old for what I had believed to be a higher end hotel chain. no staff motivation to help the guest. Dirty and missing tiles were that of lowend hotel.not on beach and no help by staff to find path to beach

The website states many amenities that are NOT offered such as shuttle to jetty port and use of swimming pool which they don't even have on this property and you aren't allowed to use at their other property contrary to website information. We could not get any help getting our 7 bags from our room to the lobby at checkout ad it was myself a child and a 7mo. Pregnant wife yet I couldn't get help. The doormen were helpful in finding pay transportation at least and they were the only friendly people I encountered in the property. They used a loud machine for some reason at 11pm. One night till I told them to stop. Further the staff was not helpful in most of the needs I had. The hotel is not well maintained considering it is supposed to be a higher end hitel. And the extending of my stay due to weather was a nightmare. I stead of simply honoring the price I got online the very morning that weather and a sick child forced us to stay I had to find a computer to re register via. Website or pay nearly 3 TIMES the rate. I will never stay at any crown regency property again. Neither will anyone in my family or my company

Just nice for 2 of us

We booked a queen sized bedroom but was given a room with a double bed plus one single bed. So, we got an extra bed to put our stuff. The hotel attendants were nice to show us the direction to the beach and to the nearest attractions. White beach is just 2 minutes walk away from the hotel. Staff there were willing and trying their best to answer all our queries. Beds are comfortable enough, not too hard or too soft

Good location, clean basic rooms

I booked this hotel on a whim, as I am familiar with the Crown chain. It was up to par with what I expected---close enough to interesting points, shops, massage places, and the famous milk shake place in Boracay. No pool nor beachfront, and resto hardly had food when we were there, but these weren't a problem. It could get a bit noisy in the hallway when some guests are walking, but that was pretty tolerable. Overall, great value for money.

Is this hotel fully operational?

Their office in Manila called me the day before my flight to inform me that my booked room was under maintenance. They \"offered\" (not that they left me any choice) to \"upgrade\" my room to the hotel annex.

The place had no elevators getting up to my room on the 4th floor, had brown paper where curtains should be, and ran out of water for two consecutive days.

Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this hotel.

Just one staff can undo a hotel

I get a call from them the day before my flight informing me that the hotel I'm booked in is under renovation. They offered (as if they left me a choice) to 'upgrade' me to their newest facility at the hotel annex which turned out to be a horrendous place. It had thin walls, brown paper where window curtains should be, and no elevator getting to the 4th floor where my room was. The entire resort and convention center it was linked to ran out of water for two consecutive days, this during the busiest week of their year.

Needless to say, I am one unhappy camper and won't be coming back.

Wont ever stay here again..

so far too the beach. u have to walk to a narrow dark path first. aircon for some reason wasnt working, even when we turned it to 18 degrees its still not cold enuf.. probably around 25-27 degrees. When we were walking along the hallways some doors are open while the staff our doing their clean work. we saw some staff holding and observing some items inside the room. i know this is not much but for some reason it made us cautious and uncomfortable. i trust them ofcourse because thats their job but im just like that i guess so we just put up the do not disturb sign just for precaution.

the room was ok but for its price there are a lot of places cheaper in boracay with the same amenities that are in the beach front.. felt like i got robbed for some reason. so far yet so expensive but wasnt what i was expecting.. too overrated. old t.v only had 2 lights inside the room and thats from the two lampshades.. ughh.. my relatives were asking me if the hotel was good because we were planning on spending a reunion at boracay with 50+ members.. but nah... not family friendly, not for the elderly cuz its too far and the path ull take is creepy.

Great hotel

The hotel was great....the only 2 issues I really had was the food was terrible as it was primarily designed for Koreans. No western food at all....the other issue was that the wifi service was equally terrible....you cannot use internet or FaceTime for more than 5 seconds before being disconnected...

We got transferred to convention center instead and is a much better hotel. PRINCE resort is on renovation and the hotel looks very old, gd to book now as u get free upgrade to convention center under crown regency too

Horribel Stay at Crown Regency Hotel Boracay

the guard at the lobby was extremely rude. he stopped me from entering the hotel because i have someone with me- saying i only booked for one person. i booked a room, and a room is for two people. the lady at the reception was hopeless agreeing with the guard. i will never come back to this hotel ever again, the rate is expensive compared to La Carmela Hotel which is absolutely much better with their facitlities and absolutely beach front at that.
i then moved to La Carmela Hotel for another 8 days, what a relief!

Nice to Stay with Family of 2kids

Stay with my family with 2 kids so far ok, its my 2nd time to booked and everything went ok no hassle checking in. Although its not beach front but its very near to beach and surrounded by many convenient store, restaurant etc...This hotel recommended and the price is ok if you book early.

people working in crown 24/7 are very accommodating. hotel location is soso. the room was clean and the hotel provides beach towels everytime we want to go to the beach. the hotel doesnt have a pool yet you can go to other regency properties to use their pool.

Rooms were comfortable and the hotel was close to the beach. Unfortunately there are NO fridges in the room. This is very very unfortunate and makes an enjoyable experience less so. NO internet connection apart from the lobby/dining room area which also isdisappoints if you are an internet junkie.

Having been to Boracay previously I had seen the crown regency Prince Resort, (Which I will say is only a hotel) and I new what to expect, The hotel is situated on the main road “the only one that runs along the centre of the island at this point” The access to the main beach (at the start of boat station 1) is a 4 min walk if you turn right when coming out of the front doors, cross the road and walk along to the back of the Astorea hotel resort where you will find a short “clean” passage which will bring you directly at the start of the main drag, On your way between your hotel and the passage there is a ATM which is part of a bank and I used it all the time as it appeared to be the best ATM on the island.
The hotel was only what I expected for the price I paid, I don’t recommend the breakfast unless you only want a cup of coffee “ if you slip along to the D mall (about a 5 min walk going to the left out of the hotel) Check out Rumber’s in the middle of the Mall for a good breakfast, and meals.
If you are on the large size you wont like the bathroom as it is very small and no space to put your toiletry things.
My main complaint was the other gests (mainly Koreans) slamming the doors, but I must say my stay in two other places in Boracay “one a 4 star rating” had the same problem.

Newer hotel only a few years old. Watch out for mosquitoes in the lobby and in the rooms in case people left the balcony door open (nice large balconies with table and chairs). Great 24 hour convenience store/supermarket on the ground floor. 5 minute walk to the beach. Breakfast buffet is useless so don't plan on having your meal there. Lots of good places close though for very reasonable prices. If you can get it for 50 USD or less it's definitely worth it. Very nice staff.

Lovely Accommodations

Although dimly lit, the room was comfortable and pleasant. Our balcony provided limited views but necessary patio breaks and swimsuit drying options. The bathroom, especially the shower, was convenient and relaxing.
We would choose this hotel again for the location (right above a small 24 hr grocery store) and great tour guide/packages.

This has all the mid-priced hotel should have. Nice front office staff, free breakfast and good selection. Great security, etc.

However, I would prefer a hotel by the beach on my next visit to Boracay. From the hotel, it takes about a 5-minute walk to the beach and the paths to the beach are not that pleasing to the eyes.

It is just excellent!!!!

Rooms are very clean, the staff is very courteous. I believe the staff their is doing the best they could to make you comfortable. Although it is a 2 minute walk to the beach, its worth the walk. the staff are the best. They accommodate your needs. Eventhough it is not a beachfront hotel, I considered it my best accommodation so far in Boracay.

Friendly and helpful staff. They greet you with a smile and offer their service with such enthusiasm. My flight was early in the morning but they gave me a complimentary breakfast that I can take with me even when the kitchen was still closed.

Simply: ok and nothing special.

We had a hotel reservation for 12 nights with breakfast bufet but there was no bufet. The breakfast menu is really simple and boring. 10 position and 8/10 are eggs and only sweet tost bread so after a week we were eating out.
Problems with the hot water in the bathroom plus they don't mop the floor.
Hotel is located 3 min walk from the white beach but also next to the main road so is quite noisy.
