Place is in a good location, many accesable places near by to can spend some time, however its quite disappointing during my stay as the steam bath was under repair and its 1 of the main reason why i choose to stay in this hotel. Hence, all are excellent

Amazing trip to Oman

An overall great stay. Room was so big and spacious. Breakfast should be included and it was very expensive for what it was but still very tasty.The location was amazing, I was 5 minutes from the beach and surrounded by loads of great places to eat opposite my hotel.

Great staff. Convenient location in town. Bed and room was big, and air con worked well. However more of a business hotel than one for a holiday. Breakfast was good.

Staff did a great effort overcoming an issue

We arrived to the hotel for check-in; however our room wasn't ready as the A/C wasn't working. We came back a few hours later and they informed us the A/C wasn't getting fixed. They moved us to another hotel nearby. The hotel was great and an upgrade of the Ramada which we booked for. This was provided for 1 night only.
The next day, we were offered a complimentary upgrade at the Ramada and went into the room to find a fruit basket. It was kind of them.

Bottom line, a problem happened but the Ramada team went above & beyond to fix the issue.

They were very professional and we are thankful for a pleasant stay. We will definitely come back.

Not so good experience this time .

I choose this hotel for second time, but this time the AC control was not working despite of the service guy coming and fixing it...the toilet spay was leaking ....I couldn't get late checkout , i ask till 3pm , crown plaza gives upto 4pm . The location of hotel is good and breakfast was good. Food is good and staff were coperative.

I have no complaints about the Ramada Qurum Beach, the staff were very helpful and honest. They told us we would get a cab for less if we left the hotel and the same about exchanging money. The last room was very clean and nice. We had a problem with the safe they explained the maintenance man was on break, but they said they would get him if we could not wait. They always greeted us with smiles on their faces. There is a coffee pot in the room and everyday we were given fresh bottled water. You are a few blocks from the beach and there is a great restaurant On the Wood a few blocks away. The food is excellent and the price is great. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Muscat.

A thoroughly enjoyable 2 week break with everything I needed from hotel accommodation except ---maybe a minor matter,---the sun never shone on the swimming pool, because it was totally surrounded by the hotel building.

Great Hotel

Great hotel in pleasant Quaram Beach area near to (but not on) the beach with some shops and restaurants near by.
Staff were very friendly and attentive, and the hotel and rooms werespotelssly clean and comfortable.
Pool is small, but is kept nice and warm so feels almost like being in a giant Jacuzzi. Particularly pleasant in the evening after a long day.
All in all a great stay and difficult to find any faults with this hotel.

This hotel is situated really well for the beach.
The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient especially the Reception staff, Ganesh and Saged, they couldn't do enough for us; lovely welcoming people. The room was spacious with a really comfortable king sized bed. The swimming pool though quite small was warm and the Gym was well equipped. The restaurant staff were great but the food was somewhat expensive. However there are many restaurants nearby. I can thoroughly recommend this Hotel

Terrible property i walked out early even though i had paid for the full stay, there is no way this is a 4 star hotel , possibly 2 star at best.

The maintenance isn't good , the fire door in my room was missing the intumescent seal , the bathroom has cracks , the window locked and the room very dark due to film at the windows

There are much better options in Muscat

Cosy hotel next to all attractions

My 2nd stay in this hotel was very good. It is a great place for relaxing sleep. A bit over priced but worth every rial one pay gor cosyness and discretness.
Near the beach for a comfy quick swim and a running exercise or a walk.

Rooms equipped like the 1980's, shower water surges very hot almost scalding, food mediocre yet expensive, aircon either too cold or or too cold. Have to off it to warm up room. Overall probably would not stay again

Possibly one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Everything was slow , service, payment at the coffee restaurant and just the general feel was a bit off and not very welcoming. The room was spacious, but just felt unwelcoming. The gym was limited and each time I wanted to use the steam room it was never switched on. The refrigerator in my room was not working and neither was the tv until the last day. I won't be revisiting and would not be recommending sadly.

No room at the inn

We arrived and were told there were no rooms. We were told we would be moved to another hotel close by. It took over an hour just to get a cab. The other hotel was not close by. We were meeting friends staying in the hotel so moving was very frustrating. We wasted a large part of the afternoon dealing with this, and then had to waste time going back and forth and moving back the next day.
When we did come back the next day, we were told we would be upgraded. Our room was no different than the friends we were meeting.
Breakfast was fine.
please not , the hotel is not on the beach. It is a 10 minute walk through what is currently a construction zone.

Worst place ever, I booked on the same day and it was available for a certain rate higher than city seasons, I arrived at late night already tired at 1:45 am after a long trip and simply the receptionist told me we are sorry we have technical issues and we can't have you in our hotel, but we will transfer you to city seasons hotel for the same rate!!!!!!!

Clean hotel with pool close to fantastic beach

The Ramada was a nice clean hotel. We had a suite which was the size of a large two bed flat. (We are a family W two kids 5&7 yrs old) the breakfast was good but pricey with an odd selection of hot food. We would have liked a lower rate for a continental breakfast. The pool was small and very warm- we never saw anyone else in it so it suited us. The staff were generally friendly though the front desk were a bit hot and miss ( answering the phone while serving you etc.) one guy in the coffee shop refused to sell us a slice of cake and wanted mto to buy the whole thing which was frankly unreasonable! Also disappointed that no alcohol at all in the hotel. We conclude that this hotel is more set up for business guests than families and maybe should pursue that line. They didn't seem to want us there.

Have stayed several times here and always a good experience. Convenient to several areas of interest, as well as the beach. Internet is good, food and room service good. Located between the Intercon and The Grand Hyatt, so lack of bar facility is no big deal. There is also a pub in the beach bay hotel nearby.

This hotel was a good choice in Muscat. The beach is close by as are plenty of coffee shops and places to eat. The beds were really great, rooms clean and with excellent black out curtains. I would stay again.

Welcoming staff, reasonable room and facilities

I found the staff both helpful and welcoming, pleased to assist me whenever I needed help or advice about the locatity. The hotel is a little dated but very clean, benefiting from fierce air conditioning which is striking when entering the building from the heat outside.

I did not use the pool or gym, but did eat in the restaurant for two evenings. Although very quiet, the waiting staff were enthusiastic and helpful, and I enjoyed both meals. They proved to be the best I ate whilst in Muscat, with other restaurants being somewhat disappointing unfortunately (I may have simply been unlucky).

The room was very clean, typical business-stay functionality. The internet connection worked very well. Everything was fine until the end of my stay when the water in my bathroom became rather dirty, although it had been perfectly clean up to that point (4 nights).

Did not live up to expectations

The hotel was centrally located and in walking distance to hotels with bars and other restaurants. Rooms were clean and staff were not overly friendly but fairly efficient. Good breakfast buffet (not included in room price). The hotel is advertised as a beach hotel but it was not on the beach and the pool was tiny with no ambience or view. The hotel seems much better suited for business; not a holiday. Our room was quite a trek to get to and despite being on the \"executive floor\" it had a small window that looked directly onto a concrete wall about 2 feet away. The tiled floors in all the rooms were a surprise!

Huge Room

The room was huge, I mean really huge. The issue is, it lacked any luxury or warmth feel. Just vast, big empty area, the floor is light white parket color which ads to the cold feel. The breakfast buffet was decent and tasty. The price vs quality is good and I would visit it again.

Great location and terrific value

I definitely recommend this hotel. There are others more glamorous and others more expensive, but none seemed to match the value of this hotel. The staff was Terrific (with a capital T), and I couldn't have been more pleased. This area of Muscat is not really pedestrian friendly, but I did find a nice walk between the hotel and the beach. Along the way there were movie theaters, coffee shops and other local hang out spots. The hotel is very, very safe, so no worries there. Oh, and the cabbies who service this hotel are all wonderful. Try getting Mubarak to take you on a tour through Muscat. He's a great guy!

Best choice in Muscat for the price

This was my fourth stay in the hotel. The service was excellent and the location of the hotel is very good for business travelers. For tourists, the hotel does not have a private beach but beaches are within a five minutes walk from the hotel.If the price remains as it has been, i.e. very reasonable for the quality service offered, I will return to the Ramada Muscat.

Fine, but not 4 stars

This hotel is perfectly fine, but more like three stars. There is not much around the neighborhood--you'll need to take cabs to visit sites ($15-20 USD each way)
