No WI-FI in the room , TV with only greek channels, nothing around the hotel except 1 restaurant. We paid for ocean view but the weather in the room was +/- 30 celsius with no clim. We changed the room with no refund a excuses. For the beach we had to pay for chair. The food was terrible and boring. The barman refused to give ice cubes for the room with nasty attitude. Every thing in this hotel is old an outdated. We felt not wecomed by the staff except the young imigrants people that's the only good point. I don't recommand this hotel the quality is to poor.

Arrived at apartment to be told that they had over booked I booked well in advance,we were taken to another hotel which was appalling it had cockroaches in the cupboards we were told we had to stay for three days till a room was available on the Wednesday I am very disappointed about this and I am looking for some sort of compensation for the three days we were not in the apartments that we booked.

Worst experience booking a hotel ever

Worst experience. Firstly full payment was taken out my account with out my permission because I added on a extra day stay. Was meant to pay on arrival. Lost my bank card 2 weeks before travelling but got a new one in time. Turned up with my 6 year old son and refused check in because they needed to see my old payment card even though I'd payed.after 3 hours trying to find a phone number or someone from hotel.com for help was impossible. After raised voices with hotel manager made my son cry. I was then forced to pay for the full stay in hotel again on my new card with our spending money then waited 3 day's for a refund. 3 days no money, no help, from hotel or hotel. Com. The room was the furthest away, 6 flight of stairs the lift was broken. The room was so bad condition I almost walked back out . Paint flakes whole balcony, broken bath, holes in walls, stained bedding that was so worn and old , cooked lid broken, fridge no door shelves missing freezer door, dirty room. Looked at other people's rooms and ours was so bad it looked. Like a different hotel. Purely stayed so my son didn't cry again. No phone number to speak to hotel.com. virtual assistant had no options for help with this subject. Live chat resolved nothing at all.

We knew exactly where this apartment hotel was. Its location is right over looking the beach just perfect for us.
We did read the hotel needed updating
We booked a one bedroom apartment and paid extra for a sea view, which was beautiful.
The apartment was big, very clean but needs an update. We had a very comfortable 6’ wide bed.
The staff are all lovely people, very courteous and friendly.
The hotel is very clean.
The only downside was having to pay €40 to use the safe in our room. Felt this was excessive. We have never paid to use the safe in an hotel before.
We wish the reception staff could smile a bit more and be more friendly. However we are hoping to return next year.

Filthy, damaged and dangerous

You’ve had several phone calls and communications from me explaining that due to the appalling condition of the rooms we were unable to stay in the hotel. We booked into another hotel and stayed in that hotel for the whole duration of the holiday. You were unable to secure a refund and apart from speaking to the night porter you did nothing to help. Very disappointing customer service in your part.

Our room smelled musty (we had to sleep with the door open to breathe!), it was dirty and run down. It reminded me of student hostels in Eastern Europe, where we stayed during a class trip in elementary school in 1998. We could switch rooms after 2 days, our 2nd room was ok, but the 1st one basically ruined our mood for the whole stay.
I don’t understand how they still operate and have the nerve to sell these rooms for this price.
Beach is ok, but water is not clear and is crowded with old people. Everything is very overpriced, but bad quality. You constantly feel ripped off.

Great location next to the beach, cheap and cheerful. Very dated decor bit it was clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. However, on arrival i was told that there was no room available for that night so i was taken to a villa 5km away to stay while a room became available. Not ideal.

Good but needs upgrading and better maintenance

All good but hotel need some money sjemt on upgrading. Maintenance poor. Tennis court out of action... not enough pillows... wifi only avsilable in reception

But would come back again... service good... breakfast exvellent... lovely location... nice swimming pool... staff always friendly and helpful

The hotel decor is dated and the room amenities (sockets, wifi, drying facilities) are limited so our initial reaction was slight disappointment. BUT the hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfasts were very good but the dinners were a tad repetitive. I'd recommend B&B rather than full or half board. The best thing about the hotel was its location - right on the fabulous beach, close to several restaurants / tavernas for some choice - but far enough away to be quiet. Its also on the bus route (every 20 mins) into Coral Bay and Paphos when we wanted more entertainment. Overall, a good place to stay.

The property sits right on the best beach in Paphos, Coral Bay. The view is breathtaking. The pool is very nice, the pool bar is good. The rooms are very spacious.
The property is aged, and the rooms require refurbishment.

The hotel keep clean but is in desperate needs of renovating, it's like stepping back into the 70's. If you want a lovely beach this is a great location but for eating out the restaurants are about a mile away, you can get the bus for 1.50 euro each way.

Comfortable room but very dated. Only one plug socket so had to unplug the TV to plug in my phone charger. Good selection at breakfast but not great quality - I would definitely recommend avoiding the hot cooked items and sticking to the fruits, yogurts and cereals. Staff generally friendly but you get the impression the realise how dated the once grand hotel is starting to look. Could definitely do with a fresh round of investment to bring it back up the standard it deserves.

Our short stay was very enjoyable and and although our bed was very comfortable my sons single bed was very very had and not comfortable at all. If we had been staying for longer I would have had to complain about it, but since it we were there for only the one night didn't bother.

Stayed for a Wedding at Coral Bay

Handy location for a wedding at Coral Bay, 15 min walk into town but a straight road and really lovely on a nice day. It's basic but amazing prices so good for what you pay, must mention that the Staff are super friendly which made for an overall lovely stay.

We arrived at 10pm tired and hungry to find, along with two other sets of travellers that we were to be decanted for the night to another hotel. We finally ate at a kebab place about midnight as all the hotel facilities were closed. We didn't get access to our room until 2pm the following afternoon which restricted our first day activities.
Our self catering apartment was sparsely equipped with no kettle or toaster. We got a kettle which burnt our fingers on the on/off switch and the handle once the kettle had boiled - dangerous.
The cleaner was lovely but the sofas full of crumbs and there was no Sunday cleaning or even clearing the loo bins.
The staff were very pleasant but we felt that what could and should have been a great place was a bit lacking and simply ok which is a pity. It's position right next to a wonderful beach has more potential to be maintained and maximised as it is without needing to be upgraded beyond our pockets.

Run away!

First of all, run away! This is barely a two-star hotel and is more of a bed and breakfast. The furniture is old, the TV is small, the room wasn't that clean and there are no amenities. When you go there, you will find a soap and some towels; no coffee/tea, complimentary water, conditioner, lotion, or shampoo! The reception will tell you to go and buy your own stuff because they simply don't provide them! Instead, they have a shop that opens 24/7 from which you can buy whatever you need. The breakfast was mediocre and nothing tasted good!

I originally booked a sea-view studio and when I got there the hotel was overbooked. So, I was given a one-bedroom apartment with an obstructed view (you can't see the sea!). When I spoke to the reception (particularly someone called Harry), he was said they didn't have any sea-view studios available and that was the best they could do. He didn't even seem to be apologetic or anything. I was really upset with their lack of customer relation/satisfaction. My stay was ruined by the Hotel.

Good location, a basic yet comfortable hotel

We spent a week at the Corallia Beach in August. We had booked a studio with a sea view and were surprised at how large the studio apartment was, it was huge! We were also pleased with the sea view, with the apartment on the ground floor overlooking the gardens and the sea just beyond. We arrived late at night and were greeted with arrival drinks and a snack, which was a thoughtful touch, and were promptly checked in and shown to our room. Due to such a late arrival we decided to make our way quickly to the Coral Bay strip to grab an evening meal. On returning to our apartment it appeared that the remains of our arrival drinks had attracted a rather large amount of ants. After calling reception a can of insect spray was provided with the promise that the cleaners would come in the very next morning to take care of it. I requested the possibility to move to another room but was told this wouldn't be possible as the hotel was full. Although the staff were friendly and the cleaners did come to clean out the room (although due to the circumstances I would have expected a much more thorough deep clean than was provided) this was a very disappointing start to our holiday and meant we were unable to have any snacks or drinks in our room or use the self catering facilities.
Overall the hotel is in a great location and provided us a comfortable base to explore coral bay and the wider paphos area. You get what you pay for at the Corallia Beach, comfortable basic accommodation

Corvallia Beach Apartment

Besides the fantastic location the hotel doesn't have much going for it. It is tired and dated. The rooms are extremely basic, we only had two power sockets in the whole apartment, none of which were in the bedroom or near a mirror to help getting dressed for the evenings. Air con was okay but old. No wifi in rooms. Pool was clean and big enough. Setting on the beach front is lovely.
Gym was basic and had no air con so it was like working out in a sauna. The breakfast had a large selection but the quality was poor. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel unless you get it for next to nothing and are prepared to have only the very basics.

Tire hotel apartments - a place to sleep

I was very disappointed with my stay at Corallia. The rooms were very basic with the air conditioning just blowing air. It didn't touch base with the heat in Cyprus. There was no Wi Fi in our room at all and only one power point in the kitchen area to either charge devices or use your own hair dryer. Although one is provided in the room, it wasn't hair salon quality for people with long and thick hair. Reception hands you a tv remote but when you try and use it, there are no channels to watch. Only when I checked out did they advise me that it needed to be tuned with only terrestrial channels. The website is very misleading in its facilities. There was no table tennis, pool table or arcade games for the kids as specified. The bowling green is across the parking but no golf nearby! Some of the foreign staff were so rude to my kids. At the bar, and restaurant, there was no willingness to accommodate easy requests. Dinner was always buffet and if you just wanted some fruit or dessert, they wanted to charge you full price. After complaining to the owner, they accommodated a fair price but this had to happen every time for the entire duration of my stay. At the end, I preferred to visit surrounding cafes/restaurants and avoided the \"hotel\". The rooms seemed to only be cleaned every second day and the bath towels were not dry properly as lack of hanging space. no dishwashing liquid or cloths provided for kitchen.This does not get cleaned at all. shower gel/shampoo/tissues not incl

Lovely hotel right on the beach

Just returned from a four day stay in coral bay and stayed at Corallia beach where we couldn't have been treated better! Perfect location as we were going to a family wedding literally next door! Can't speak highly enough of facilities and staff! My wife and 8 year old son wished we had stayed longer and we probably would have, had it been in school holiday time!

I had a great time so im writing a lovely report on corallia beach hotel saying the staff and management are very curtious and professional, polite and very helpful, corralia beach hotel has a very warm atmosphere and makes each and every client feel special. it is a very beautiful place with spectacular veiws of the sea and beach, a very peaceful place with plenty of attractions and entertainment. the weather here is always very hot and most of the staff speak english very well, a very nice hotel to relax and enjoy. the rooms are well equipped and always cleaned on a daily basis. And the gardens and pool area are always well maintained.. we would recommend corallia beach hotel as a gold class hotel. fondest regards, mr mick prosser.

Hotel for the masses

We booked this hotel for a short stay, 5 nights. Upon arrival we were not given the 1 bedroom condo, but a studio. When requesting an explanation we were told 'manager is not in, tomorrow we have an answer'. The next day I was told there would be rooms available ' tomorrow, hotel is fully booked'. When I protested, they gave me the adjoining room, but there was no key avalaible to make it look like a separate bedroom, we had child with us. ( key came the 3rd day, with the option to move to a condo that became available. As the condo looked over a parking lot, we decided to stick to the two rooms.
Due to the fact that on Sundays and Holidays there is no cleaning, very disappointing, there was also ' no manager '. We wanted to arrange a late check out, well in advance, for which we wanted to speak to the manager. When this was finally possible to discuss, on my day of departure, I was again told the 'hotel is fully booked' (late October?). We didn't think this was very polite, knowing we had mised at least the first night in the right room. Hotel is right at the sea, which made things bearable...

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived with the amount of space and view from our room, on the 2nd floor, overlooking the sea. The airconditioning was just adequate but we had brought a fan and 5metre extension cable as there are no sockets in the bedroom. The staff were friendly especially the poolside waiter. The breakfast was poor due to the lack of choice but the evening buffet was Good especially at 10E a head for all you could eat.

We are seriously thinking of going next year for 2 weeks.

The only things I think they could improve would be the AC and update they furniture which is looking a bit tired.

Hotel was good & clean. However, our room didn't have the air con working & in temperatures of 29/30 degrees, this was a major issue. Complained 3 times but it couldn't be sorted. They did supply a fan, but it was disappointing. The hotel has a few restaurants in the vicinity, but the main 'strip' is a good 20 mins walk uphill, so advise to get the local bus up which is cheap enough. Pool fab, & great beach just in front of the hotel. If you want a full sea view, suggest you ask for pool view as otherwise, sea view is from the side overlooking the bus terminal & car park!!

Good location, management in need of improvement.

Whe wanted to go on a low cost vacation with friends before ordinary summer vacation. So whe booked Corallia mainly because it was cheap. Therefore our expectations were set low and we were also fully aware of that \"you get what you pay for\".

The hotel have a wery good location and could be so much better than it is today. Exterior improvements are being made right now and we really hope that interior improvements will be the next step.

The \"private\" beach is actually public (its free though, its the sunbeds that costs EUR 2 each).

Bottomline: buy new beds as sleeping on the tile floor would have been softer and please, learn what customer service is.

Corallia Beach Hotel Apartment

After reading the description of the Hotel and it's surroundings, we decided it was a good choise.
Rooms includes safe, satelitte channels, wifi, bathrobes, hair dryer, daily housekeeping. Well, turned out the safe costed additonal EUR 15 for a week to be able to use, all except one channel was not greek, wifi was just available in the reseption, did not se any bathrobes, the hairdryer worked for 2 min, then had to cool down for 10 min for use for another 2 min. Houskeeping was not performed on Thursdays and Sundays for some reason. The room did not look anything like on the pictures. There was a kitchen area located 1 meter from the bed. The breakfast was poor and did not offer any fruit. At the time we where there they where doing renovation work and instead of organise a bit (hotel was far from full), workers started working on the next door terrace at 8 am sanding the walls. At one point I was even asked to go inside so they could sand down the terrace above us. The state of our terrace after was not very good. So if you are planning a quiet vacation where you want to spend some time and relax at the hotel or the beach, which by the way is not private, and it cost EUR 6 for 2 sunbeds per day, I would recommend you choose another hotel.
