The staff were brilliant here, very welcoming and expained things well. A special thanks to Sun and Jake. The walk to the beach around the area is dreamy. Utterley beautiful. You really really need a car for this area Not a taxi but your own rental car-please don't be mistaken about that. The stovetop did not work so I couldn't cook anything and the bathroom..wow. That needs to be sorted out, you could see into the roof area as the ceiling was ajar. The toilet also didn't flush properley. I know most properties have a problem with mold, but the mold in the bathroom was quite significant. It just wore me down. The building really needs some care and attention.

Avoid at all costs!

You couldn’t pay me to stay here again. The entire resort stinks of sewage. The room smelled of mildew and mould, so much so that it affected our breathing. The shower curtain was also mouldy. The children's park was a hazard! Curtains didn't reach the end of the windows as they were falling down. The pool was okay…but the posters all around saying if you leave your towel out they will remove it and not return your property seemed like overkill. This poster was even stuck to our dining table.

We checked out before we even stayed the night.

Cheap, tired but has an indoor pool and jacuzzi as the highlight. Near to sea for a walk, wonderful restaurant behind the complex. Nice outdoor pool area. Friendly staff. Keep valuables in the safe.

PANARETI CORAL BAY FULL REVIEW :)

For the price we were incredibly impressed & pleased with the size of our room. It had 2 bathrooms (both shower/bath & toilet in each), a spacious bedroom with lovely views, a kitchenette & a living area with sofas - plus dining table/chairs.

However the tv didn’t work as the lead had the wrong plug type lol? The bed was a good size but very cranky & the sheets weren’t the best quality or the most comfortable - neither was the faux fur style blanket duvet.

Unfortunately the hotel does not change towels every day which we felt we needed. I think they gave us a fresh towel each every 3rd day of our stay. But they did make the bed every day & change with fresh sheets. They also provided new toilet rolls & mini bars of packaged soap every day. Bring your own hair shampoo!

Kitchen had decent amount of utensils, but weren’t thoroughly cleaned. We found it difficult to clean them as there was no dish washing equipment provided (no kitchen soap, sponge or wipes etc).

10min walk from the main (and last) bus station in Coral Bay, which has a nice beach there. main Coral Bay beach is about a 20 min walk. Pafos buses are quick/cheap. 1.50€ pp or 5€ for a unlimited bus day pass pp.
Takes 2 buses to get to airport. Use MOOVIT app.

Electric scooters for hire parked right outside the hotel. It took us about 8mins to get to main strip of Coral Bay bars/restaurants (cost around 4€ each for that distance).

Hotel pool was great! Hotel food average. For price, overall 8/10.

Lovely hotel, excellent pool and very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was the remote location and lack of amenities in the immediate vicinity. Also was not well signposted from the main road so we found it hard to find after getting off the bus at the final stop.

This hotel appears to be running down,

grubby looking towels in fact pretty grubby all round, nothing works TV hair dryer patio door. We stayed 3 weeks. water for shower always tepid then last 3 days cold, mini market almost nothing in it advertised laundrette didn’t try it but you wouldn’t put the dogs towel in there. On the plus side very nice pool but all in all just do not stay there.

Water in jacuzzi smelt really bad.
Cleaners only cleaned my room once during my 4 day stay, and I really loosely mean clean; basically just made the bed.

Just a couple of nights here but very nice and relaxing.we were out of season so somethings were not available, but the staff were very helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant which was freshly cooked, delicious and not expensive. I can't think of any negatives about the stay.

Worst Possible Hotel in Paphos

Terrible place to stay, evwn worst staff.

Well, i will start with the staff first. Managwment is completely clueless about anything you ask. Staff barely speak english. The nicest staff was thr cleaning lady. She is adorable.

Air conditioning was broken for 4 out of 6 day stay. It was 33-36 C.
Comunication is applaing and borderline rude.
Sheets and towels are only changed every 4 days.
Drinks at the bar are lukewarm.
Swimming pool is dirty, also no jumping, no music, no drink, no food, no inflatables... well you can stand sill in the pool, though.
Car Parkint is limited to few spots, leaving you to park in an adjacent field (crop).
Premises are rundown. It looks like it have been stuck in the early 80's.
Also, bloody expensive rates.
Avoid this at all costs, this hotel made.my experience in Cyprus to be dreadful.

Stop over night.

We only stayed one night on a half board basis. Nice homemade soup and main course. Didn't have time to use the pool, so not sure if it's heated, which in Feb it would have needed to be. However, it looks very inviting. Rooms are a good size with comfortable beds. Quite a distance from any pubs or restaurants, and not very lively in the hotel either at this time of year.

The WiFi was good but...

The WiFi is the only thing going for this place. This wasn't a great experience. There is major building work next door so if you want to relax or have a sleep in forget it. They don't provide basic washing up materials for your dishes. To use the safe was an additional charge. The area to leave your luggage is not secure i was shown an open area in the foyer for anyone to access. Customer service was poor and basic attention to detail lacked (like a guide on what facilities the hotels has or the local area) and the wine terrible. Unfortunately this was far from a great experience.

I got a bit disappointed to say the least. We had a dead pigeon in the communal garden for the whole week, our toilet didn't flush properly, the swimming pool left yellow stains in our towels and swimming costume (which is very worrying). We went to pay for the breakfast the first day and we never found anybody, so we left to have breakfast elsewhere. We knew it wasn't going to a be a dream, but it was quite disappointing to say the least.

Location is great, a little off the beaten track and away from the main tourist area. Beautiful quiet beach just a 5min walk away, and an excellent restaurant (Porto Antico) 5min walk away too.

Hotel has good facilities, although the pool is nowhere near as big as the pics make it seem! And the whole place is plastered with hand-written signs reinforcing rules (often the same message multiple times in the same spot) which just seemed odd and didn’t give off a relaxed vibe.

The room was nice but lacked the finishing touches - no bottle of water, no complimentary shampoo/shower gel, no kitchen facilities like washing up liquid, dishcloths etc.

Hotel breakfast was really poor. The cooked breakfast options were very disappointing (the halloumi tasted like insanely salty rubber!) and the buffet section had no fresh fruit which seemed strange - only cucumber, tomato, cheese and bread.

The indoor pool and jacuzzi are great additions, and the hotel is well-kept and clean.

Good value off peak break

The good points - the restaurant had a good al la carte menu with reasonable prices. The indoor pool was lovely. We were given an upgrade from a studio apartment to a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious with comfortable seating in the living room. All staff we polite and friendly.

However the accommodation was lacking in kitchen utensils - no spatula, no tin opener, no corkscrew and the room we were given was on the ground floor with a view of a large hedge only a few feet away. Towels are only changed after 4 days - this was indicated by a notice in the room saying that it is the hotels policy to change the towels and bedding on the forth day. There was no
airer or washing line on the terrace or in the bathroom and the beds were not the most comfortable.

A good breakfast was available for 6.5 euros but this would have been better if the \"hot food\" had been kept hot by lighting the burners under the containers

It is very spatious hotel with indoor and outdoor pools, childrens playground, billiard, lobby and a restaurant, steps from very nice beaches or sights. It probably has been a luxourious place some 30 years ago, however it doesn't meet today's \"luxourious\" standards (some amenities are a little aged). On the other hand, for the money paied, absolutely great experience.

Lovely out of the way place. If you want to just chill this is the place for you.close to the beach but not close to the commercial area. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Lovely pool there is a gym with sauna and a tennis court if you're feeling energetic.

Great hotel in a great location. There is not a shuttle bus like the description says. Costs around €40 one way by taxi. Coral Bay is a 10€ taxi ride away. The beach is walkable. Nice pool and good room. Good breakfast and dinner selection. Friendly staff.

Had a fantastic holiday the hotel staff were great and helpful. The only thing that let the hotel down a little was the cleanliness of the room we had a few issues but its out of season so the hotel is probably not got much cleaners on. The basics were done just needed a little more doing in the room. Overall it didn't effect the stay and we were comfortable if that was perfect then 10/10 but score 7/10 which isn't bad still good. Good for the money

Old outdated hotel lobby was an indication of what the room would be like. This was a sub-standard hotel. First night was spent in the creepiest room ive seen in a long time. The furniture looked like it had water damage, it was old and completely mismatched. The comforters on the bed were old and mangy. The hallway to the room was dark and the room's AC wasn't working. I got the room switched and second room was better relative to how bad the first one was. Then on the fourth night, I had brown water coming from the faucets and toilets. Thankfully most of my time was not spent at the hotel otherwise I would say this was the worst and most disappointing part of my trip. Should have read trip advisor and expedia reviews much closer so I take some responsibility.

Hotel was very nice, we stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was very good each morning of our trip. Our room was what we expected although the smell outside the room wasn't very nice at all, it didn't smell in the room at all but it did mean we held our breath as we went in and out the room which was ideal. The Wi-fi was awful which wasn't a problem for us but if you needed it then it would be of no use.

This hotel has very helpful staff and quite good facilities. The apartments are large with basic equipment but does include a microwave. Bringing salt pepper and sugar/ dried milk would be a good idea. Most sun in the afternoon is on pool facing apartments. It is a little in need of money spent on it and it is some 10 minutes walk from the bus stop. There are lovely walks along the bay and a very good bus service into the resort and Paphos once you make it to the bus stop. Not suitable for those with walking difficulties unless they have a car. The inside pool is nice. The mini market is very expensive and there is a cheaper one down by O'Solomons pub close to the bus stop. Meals are good - too much for me - and served at the table rather than buffet. Not much choice unless you go for the a la carte. Plenty of restaurants nearby but the walk from the bus stop in the dark is a bit tricky - bring a torch. Email them for cheapest airport transfers

The quality of all the hotel facilities etc reflected in the price. Average standard. Requested disabled room facilities (was confirmed with Hotels.com) but didn`t get one. It appears that NONE of the rooms have disabled facilities (impossible to access the bathroom in a wheelchair!!) , however, the hotel in general has ramps etc.

Lovely hotel. Staff were great but not enough of them. The woman from the bar had to restock the breakfast items, clear the tables and as the coffee machine was broken make coffees and teas. She did her best. The receptionist was also in charge of the mini market every member of staff had at least 2 jobs. We had to wait an hour and a half to check in because of a shortage of cleaners. The room was nice and spacious with English TV. The shower was not easy to use as the clip had broken so showering single handed with no anti slip mat not good.

Changed our hotel without notice

We arrived to check in only to be told we hadn't booked that accommodation and would need to take a 20+ minute drive to their sister hotel!
We were there for our sons wedding so other hotel was not suitable. Despite trying to explain the situation we were told we had no choice. Conveniently the manager was unavailable at that property but would be available at the other hotel later that day - yeah right!
We ended up staying with family in their apartment which was cramped but had no other alternative.
Both my husband and I have walking difficulties and the other hotel was situated up a steep incline, there was also a lot of building work going on around it.
Avoid at all costs if you need to stay in this area

Quite a pleasant hotel but in dire need of some TLC. Sheets very thin and grey, pillows lumpy, bedroom lighting poor, kitchen poorly equipiped (had microwave but no suitable dish to go in it). Beach fairly close, good pool area, indoor pool and jacuzzi, fitness centre.

I don't have a clue what Hotel Panaretti Coral Bay was like because they had no booking from you for us. Our friends who arrived two days before us found there was no booking but they had availability in another of their hotels which was about four miles away. Not very impressed as the hotel I booked was on the coast with short walk to the beach, bars, restaurants etc. The hotel they put us in was miles away from anywhere and we had to drive everywhere.

The location was not good. Far from the shops and paphos harbour. The rooms were terrible, dirty, the bed not comfortable at all. We stayed for 4 days and no one came to clean the room!!! They change towels every 4 days according to their policy but they disnt change our towels despite we stayed 4 days. The food is bad.i dont recommend this hotel at all

DO NOT book this hotel I pre booked and paid for a room for a couple of days at the end of my holiday, on arrival I was told that they had re-sold the room and they had nothing available. They could not even give me a room for one of the two days that I paid for! The attitude of the manager was disgusting and very rude. They kept my money no refund and they had also got double the money as they re-sold my room to someone else. We were absolutely destitute with no accommodation! We went to all the hotels and apartments within Coral Bay but all fully booked. Eventually we found accommodation at the Helios Hotel and we were given a beautiful apartment the staff at the Helios could not have been more pleasant and helpful unlike the Panareti Coral Bay! Having read the reviews on this hotel since on Facebook it seems that we had a very lucky escape that there was no room available at the Panareti Coral Bay and I would never step foot in that run down, dodgy hovel again. Please read Facebook for other people's poor experiences, the place should be closed down. The stress that this caused ruined the last days of my holiday. I am very upset that Hotels.Com would have such an unrepeatable hotel on their books I thought any hotel on their system would be fully vetted in order to safeguard customers. I thought that by booking through Hotels.com that I would have some buyer protection in such eventualities. Hotels.com I am extremely disappointed and lost all confidence in your company.

Not what was expected!!

This isn't, actually a review for Panareti Coral Bay(!!) because when we arrived on a group booking (some 30 of us) we found that they did not have enough rooms for all our party (even though we made the booking back in January) and about half of us were 'transferred to 'Club St George Resort' so this is my review of there!

Pro's; Excellent Rooms, Wonderful Views.

Cons; The price to pay for the \"Wonderful Views\" was that it is half way up a mountain in the middle of nowhere!
The food in the 'restaurant' (more akin to a staff canteen) was average to poor with an amazing lack of choice (2) when it came to available white wine!
The place is massive with hundreds of rooms and if it was ever full (which must be doubtful!) the bar is very small and couldn't possibly cope
The 'courtesy' transport into Paphos was not too much of a \"courtesy\" because there was a charge of 2 Euros per person each way!
Top Tips:
There was ONE Taverna close by, being at the bottom of the steep hill at the approach to the 'Resort' which was , thank goodness, absolutely superb and saved having to either suffer the food in the 'canteen' or driving out to find somewhere else!
(Unfortunately I cannot recall the name of this Taverna but it's not difficult to find because, as I said, it is the ONLY one anywhere near!!)

We have since learned that it is a common occurrence for people who have booked for the Panareti Coral Bay to be moved to Club St George!!

I booked Panarettic hotel based on it's location as I was in need of a quiet holiday. Upon reading all the reviews I had a sence of doubt. However the hotel was peaceful, clean and the hotel staff was friendly especially the restaurant staff.
I went with my one year old son and husband for our wedding anniversary. The hotel had given us a spacious room and a cot for lil man. We went full board and the food was lovely. Wasn't your usual hotel food serve yourself. You picked your meals out of a menu and the staff served you. Sometimes this took long if the hotel was busy however it gave the hotel a sence of class. All food was present beautifully as it would with fine dining. My husband is a big eater so didn't find the portions filling.
One thing I would say is get your euros before you reach the hotel as they do not change money for you and a car is pretty much needed to get around unless you're into walking.
There is a 615 bus from coral beach that takes you into town for 1.50euros single for shop access and restaurants. About a 10-20min drive depending where in town you want to go.

Overall a lovely and relaxing holiday with indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym and a massage parlour. The beach is also a 5min walk from the hotel.

Good location, tired hotel but friendly staff.

Ideal position on the island, close to a variety of sights and Paphos airport if you have a hire car. Not suitable for self catering which was disappointing and the one meal we had in house took an hour to arrive. Lots of other restaurants half hour walk away If you don't have wheels, also nice coastal walks close by. Facilities were all old but useable. Good base for family holiday which worked for us as we were out all day. Staff were friendly and helpful. All were patient with some of the younger energetic visitors.

Hotel is in very quiet and relaxing location. We had very good appartaments. Staff helpfull and frendly. About 7 min to walk to the sea- Caral beach for the swimming or for bus stop on the site. Weather was beatifull We enjoyed so much! Thank you!

Great trip Resort and Service

Had a very nice stay at this resort. we went full board and food was good and lots of choices. staff very friendly and helpful. Resort for us was very peaceful even for a family Resort, Had a studio flat which was surprizingly large and faced onto the pool which was a bonus. Resort was away from the bigger hotels but only 7 mins walk to the beach at Coral Bay.

Didn't stay arrived to be told that they didn't have a room for us offered us accomation that was an up grade when we arrived there it was no where near the beach or restaurants or bars. Very disappointed with the whole weekend we was looking forward to celebrating or 36th wedding anniversary but the weekend was ruined.

Standard hotel far seven minute from beach.

im surprised that their charged us to use sauna facility and safe deposit. That should all inclusive as hotel facility. I'm vert disappointed. I'm not impressed in the restaurant menu.

Wireless internet was impossible,
Air condition stopped working in the middle of the day and it took 2 phone calls to get someone to check it

Great for a couple of days, fab pool, good value

We only stayed for the weekend and had our own car so getting around wasn't a problem. The pool was lovely, the room we had was on the ground floor looking over the pool. The manager was very kind and helpful and let us keep the room all the final day as he had no one going in it. We had the evening meal and breakfast, both were good value for the price and the children were happy playing in the park next to the restaurant which was a bonus.

It was very good...I had to ask to change room due to there being a door adjoining the room next door and a smell of cigarette smoke.....they were very co-operative and changed my room unfortunately due to location and a lack of access to sun/heat the room was very cold...overall I managed

We stayed 2 nights in Alpha Panareti's Royal Coral Bay Resort. It was amazing! The room was perfectly clean and very spacious, with one private terrace and one to share with neighbors. The room had all the necessary facilities like hairdryer, microwave etc in perfect condition. The outdoor pool was just being cleaned, but it looked awesome and big, instead we used the indoor pool and Jacuzzi. Food in the hotel restaurant was really good and in very reasonable prices. The waiters were very professional and kind, I totally recommend!

perfect destination for relaxing and nature holida

The hotel is very well located.5 minutes walking to a sandy beach or 5 minutes to a wild cove.Perfect for a nature holidays!
If you don t have the courage to walk, you can enjoy or exterior swiming pool or interior warn swimming pool.
Happy of our stay because we always have something to enjoy during our 10 days periods.

Cyprus Fawlty Towers

This hotel is very tired. I only stayed there for a few days, thank god! On our first morning we attempted to have breakfast in the dining area, which was a real challenge considering there were no cups, no coffee, no hot water avaliable. The food on offer was pretty poor, I pittied the poor souls who had paid for all inclusive. The rooms set out around the pool need a real makeover. I think if you were staying at this place in the summer you would struggle with noise. All in all this hotel is the Cypriot version of Fawlty Towers. Even the hotel sign outside looks like Basil has been at it!!

Adequate for our stay

stayed at the hotel with 7 others, I upgraded on arrival. I questioned the price for the upgrade and got told that somebody would get back to me which never happened.

A relaxing yet active break

We had a wonderful time at the Panaretti. the hotel is in a quiet location apprximately 2 km from the centre of Coral Bay - which made for a good walk or a short taxi ride. There is an excellent and frequent bus service but the nearest stop is 5 minute walk.The rooms are appartments and are well serviced and a good size but getting a little tired in decor and equipment - but it all works.The pool is big and very attractive with plenty of sun beds and avery nice gym and in door pool.Within 2 km and on the coast road are 3 lovely local restaurants with amazing sun down situations - sunsets, good food and beer
