Staff was amazing and great location however they have an additional guess policy that was not discussed on the site but after checking in. The fee is 200,000 COP which is $54 US for each guess that comes to the room which can add up very quickly.
The Double room is very tight and would recommend upgrading to another room for the additional space if required

I found this place online in a hurry after leaving a bad experience. The lobby is really neat--you walk in from the street and it's over in the corner across from the bar. It's in a great location with many eating options and Mondongo's is just a block away. I chose a small room, but it was so neat--behind the bed headboard on one side is the bathroom, and on the other, the shower. I loved my room! But the staff here is INCREDIBLE! I ended up leaving my iPhone in a cab, and they all jumped in to help. I met the General Manager Daniel Torres the next morning, and he jumped to his feet and offered me any and all assistance. I owe a great debt to him, Santiago, Paola, Samuel, and Catherine. They were the best. Daniel offered to take me anywhere I needed, like to buy a replacement phone or what have you. He made arrangements for me to get a phone plan outside of Colombia when he found out the pace where I got my new phone sold me one for just local calls. I would gladly stay here again and again. The staff is like a little family and they run a well-oiled machine. What a blessing to stay there for 3 nights and be with them. They took great care of me.

Nice hotel and conveniently located for a leisure weekend. Not recommended if you are on business as there are no wardrobes in the room. The lack of windows in the room might feel you uncomfortable. Staff were really nice and attentive and very helpful.

A/C barely works so you will wake up sweating most days you stay here. Wi-Fi is very slow and inconsistent. It will be hard to work productively here. Staff was friendly. Location was very good. There is also a $50 fee everytime you bring an extra guest so keep that in my mind if you plan to enjoy the nightlife.

Estuvimos 3 noches sin aire, aunque avisamos, nunca fue resuleto. Tuvimos que pedir limpiaran los bordes de la ducha, ya que estaban en muy mal estado. El agua se sale muy fácil del área de la ducha.
Lamentable tener que comentar esto, ya que he recomen dado bastante el hotel, porque nos gusta la ubicación, decoración y trato del personal.
Por Último, ya es tiempo de cambiar las toallas.

Tuve que cambiar mi habitación porque me da claustrofobia y el joven que me atendio(hombre) me cobró $90 americanos y en efectivo porque me dijo que no podía cobrarlo con tarjeta y al otro día otra pareja que nos acompañaba cambió la habitación y no le cobraron nada. If You Want a Bed and a Shower, This is The Place
The room was very quaint (tiny) and the towel rack (aka bed) was just inches away from the shower door. My suitcase fit nicely on the stand by the door and I was easily able to squeeze in and out the door each day. The breakfast was terrific in a little cafe across the street. Service was good and the staff was very helpful.

The Hotel itself is very nicely decorated; modern, chic, very slick. But there were issues, all minor-ish. While the hotel staff was friendly they were not always the easiest to communicate with. They were always around but not usually at the desk and most did not or would not speak English. I've never stayed at a hotel where the staff was so reluctant to speak English to a traveler they knew spoke VERY limited Spanish. This really didn't negatively impact our stay but it was noticeable and frustrating at times.
The other issue was that the room air conditioning was just simply inadequate. Another couple left as I was checking in due to this. The morning sun coming through the single pane glass was brutal even with the thick blackout curtain over it. It didn't even cool down that much once the sun crested the top of the building. Staff brought us a fan which was an absolute life-saver. On any day that wasn't cloudy it was barely tolerable without it.
Convenient location also meant VERY loud especially on the weekend nights. Again the single pane glass did no favors to the hotel here either. The building is 4 houses down off the main drag but you could hear every single car from the room. Bring earplugs.
Other small issues: very little place to put clothes, no drawers or armoire, and just a tiny place to hang a couple shirts behind the mirror.
The light fixture above the vanity dripped water. A lot of small issues that didn't ruin the trip at all but added up to just 'ok'

A wonderful hotel in an excellent location, with excellent design. The street where the hotel is located is a dead end and very green, when you go outside you find yourself in a botanical garden. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is first class and the coffee is delicious.

I had a blast at Hotel Helene in Medellin! I enjoyed the intimate atmosphere of this boutique hotel. The soul of the place is quite unique with \"une élégance à la française\" (a french touch). The staff is also amazing: special mention to Esteban from Front Desk and Xavier from the restaurant. You can't go wrong with this hotel. I can't wait to be back myself.

LOL you know what? Forget it! Typically, take it or leave it,also TV don't work.

We went for our anniversary and the hotel even gave us an upgrade on our room as a gift plus it was decorated with roses and everything. The hotel itself its very beautiful and new, the rooms are very romantic and perfect for couples and the rooftop bar is a must go too.
There are a few streets around El Poblado that locals don't recommend turists walk, a couple are a few blocks away from the hotel, but you can Uber everywhere for less than $5, so there's that.
