Great place to stay and relax near Nuremberg!

We stayed here while visiting family in Nuremberg. This hotel was nice and clean, had a pool, and restaurant on site. The pool was nice and clean. The restaurant a bit expensive, but food was good. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were good sized and clean. We had jet lag so this was a very comfy spot to stay up late and sleep in. Very close to Nuremberg and easy exit off the highway. Overall great value and I would stay here again.

We booked this hotel on the way back from our family holiday looking at the pictures which looked perfect, but after checking in we were disappointed. The room was really small, without air conditioning, few towels, no place to put luggage and basic amenities.
When asked at reception they said the picture we saw on reservation is a deluxe room which costs double. Not ideal to argue at that stage as we went tired. Nights sleep was not good as there was no air conditioning and very cramped smatroom. When opened windows due close proximity to highway there was a lot of noise.
Breakfast was very expensive 19 euros per person, which does not make sense.
This is very average hotel which overcharges for everything except luckily for internet.
Very basic pool which is outside.

Hotel will be very nice once renovations are done!

Our family (children ages 10 and 12) stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. There were extensive renovations going on at the time. Our room was very small, hot, and visibly worn. I am assuming this will be greatly improved once renovations are complete. The staff was very accommodating though, and once renovations are completed, it will likely be a very good spot to stay!

I chose this hotel because it was much cheaper than the hotels in nuremburg, bus 33 takes you to and from the airport and stops directly outside the hotel, there is an aldi and rewe supermarkets around the corner, transport links excellent, you can get a 178 or 33 bus to furth u bahn station just 5 min ride, furth to central nuremburg takes 20 mins tages ticket(day tickets) are great value and can take you as far as rothenburg , the hotel is clean and has good amenities, staff were very friendly, only cons are the lack of aircon, rooms have fans instead but apart from that I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely book again

Wouldn't stay here again!

Pictures on Expedia look really nice but the reality is the opposite. The pool is just a dirty oversized bathtub with ice cold water! Hidden fees! Got charged 90% of the booking price when I cancelled the room (made a mistake by booking the hotel twice) even though I called within 30 min of the booking. Staff nice but not knowledgeable! Locked my key in the room and got another one just by asking! Not SAFE! Breakfast was bad!!! Over all experience BAD! Expensive for what you get! Wouldn't come back again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone! (I'm a flight attendant and travel a lot. This place is more like a 1 star hotel and not safe at all)

It was a hot day and we were looking forward to a cool nights sleep. No such luck. Each room has a fan but no individual air con. Hotel was on the edge of town convenient to freeway and sporting complex otherwise not much in walking distance. Hotel had jacked up its prices to 3x normal due to major trade show in Nurembergburg. We made reservations at least 3 mo in advance. Hotel was sold out. This hotel would be a good value at normal rates but was a poor value at 3x the normal.

Asked for help from staff in locating a self service laundry nearby, they sent us to a dry cleaner/ laundry. Something got lost in translation there. We found a laundry by the railway station with a parking space in front for the car using Google.

Allow 30 min to get to heart of Nuremburg, 15 min to Nuremburg airport by car.

The hotel is not as fresh as it appears in the pictures. It's fine but basic. Smoking on some floors so that means basically the hotel is a smoking hotel. I switched to another hotel for the same price in Nuremberg that was a solid 4.5 star hotel. This is a solid 3 not a 4.

- nice room ( double bed and sofa ) very good specially for family with small kids
-nice bathroom with a powerful shower

Only a one night stay as we passed through Germany. Great location close to the motorways we wanted. Room was clean and spacious for the three of us. We weren't tempted to pay nearly as much for the breakfast option as we did for the room so headed to Ikea (3 min drive away) for breakfast. Would stay here again.

The family-friendly nature of the hotel was one of the highlights of our trip for our 5-year-old son. There are indoor and outdoor play areas as well as a surprise welcome gift upon check in. Even my infant daughter got a gift. Breakfast was delicious with enough options to satisfy my whole family. The staff was very friendly and spoke great English.

Was very put off by the fee (9 Euro) for car parking. Hotel was outside city center enough that a pay car park appeared to be unneeded. Ample parking on street avoided this annoyance.
Hotel was decent enough- nothing fancy. Did not eat in the restaurant due to the overpriced and limited selection. Took 3 minute drive and had wonderful family meal for price of one entree at hotel restaurant. And I didn't even have to pay to park.

We've stayed at Mercure's before and we were pretty disappointed with the quality of this particular hotel (especially for a German location in a large city). The rooms desperately needed an upgrade/renovation, as they felt like a cheap US hotel chain (think 2-star U.S. motel). We booked a King room, and got a Queen bed that felt like concrete. The bed had 2 ridiculously small and flat pillows on it, and the sheets were cheap and scratchy (they actually triggered an allergic skin reaction for both my husband and I). There were stains on the carpet, and the bathroom smelled like urine. The room was also incredibly hot, and you had no control over the heat in the room. It also didn't help that we got caught up at check-in with a big tour bus filled with pushy and impolite seniors. The whole thing made for an all round disappointing and negative experience.

I must say though, the staff were pleasant and professional, and I must give them credit for that! The breakfast was also pretty good. Overall, this felt more like a 2 star hotel, not a 4 star \"Mercure-quality\" hotel though, and wouldn't recommend it for couples or singles that are looking for business-class or 4-star accommodations.

Good overnight spot

A good place to overnight with children. The pool and play area were fun for the kids, safe and clean. Breakfast had something for everyone and the staff were friendly. The room was good but would have been close quarters for a family of four for more than an overnight. There were a few \"less than perfect\" things about our stay like a stain on the carpet and curtain but nothing that would stop us from staying there again. Overall it was a great stay and the kids were well rested, well fed and had fun.

Nice hotel for short stay in Nuremberg area.

Stayed for one night with 2 adults, 2 children. Room had everything we wanted such as fridge, TV, wi-fi. Did not use the pool because it was in the middle of the restaurant patio -- didn't feel like swimming in full view of the diners. Welcoming staff, efficient check-in and check-out. Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Die Zimmergröße und die Größe des Badezimmers sind absolut in Ordnung. Es war auch alles sauber.
Lediglich die Parkgebühren, in Höhe von 14€ pro Nacht, für einen einfachen offen zugänglichen Parkplatz, der nur für Autos mit einer Schranke abgesperrt ist, finde ich zu hoch.

Diesmal leider total enttäuschend

Auf dem Parkplatz des Hotels haben Gäste ihre Hunde in einem Autoanhänger über Nacht gelassen. Diese haben immer wieder die ganze Nacht über gejault und gebellt. Leider fühlte sich das Hotelpersonal nicht in der Lage dies abzustellen. In der zweiten Nacht hat man uns zwar angeboten das Zimmer zu wechseln was wir aber abgelehnt haben, da es bereits 22:30 Uhr war und wir am nächsten Morgen abreisen mussten. Zwei schlaflose Nächte sind jedoch definitiv zu viel. Außerdem war der Aufzug kaputt, Zimmer werden nur noch auf Wunsch gereinigt.

À 300 m de l’autoroute, hôtel est destiné à servir d’étape.
Accueil « administratif » froid. J’ai dû refaire l’enregistrement, fait déjà en ligne 2 jours avant à la demande de l’hôtel !!!
Pas de gel douche (étui épuisé…) WiFi efficace.
Une belle piscine. Lit confortable. Pas de frigo (la place est là…).
Petit déjeuner très inégal. Jus d’orange industriel, réellement pas bon ☹. Café machine, au goût du soluble, totalement quelconque. Sinon, des bonnes choses. Pas de fruits frais.

Beim Checkout wurde ich nach der Zufriedenheit gefragt. Unangenehmer Geruch im Bad und der Schmutzhinweis in der Dusche wurde sich angehört aber nicht mal ein Wort dazu gesagt. So freundlich die Dame beim Check-in war so katastrophal die beim Checkout. Die Türen zum Zimmer sind extrem dünn - dadurch ist es sehr laut - auch die zweite Tür nutzt hier gar nichts. Warum wird so oberflächlich renoviert. Ich erwarte als Gast gut behandelt zu werden und Stellung zu Reklamationen zu nehmen.

Det er et fint familievennlig hotell . Frokost er helt ok hvis man har ikke mat allergier . Det er dårlig utvalg eller ingen utvalg for de som har gluten eller laktose intoleranse , cøliaki eller vegetarianer . Hotellet har et utebasseng som kan man benytte fram til klokka 22:00 . Det er fordel for de som reiser med barn om sommeren . Parkeringplassen ved hotellet er ikke gratis og kostet oss 28 euro for 2 dager . Det synes jeg er ganske dyrt .

Fint hotel til en enkelt overnatning. Værelset havde det der skulle være. Morgenmaden var rigtig god. Hende der tjekkede os ind var jævnt forvirret og blev ved med at svare på tysk selvom vi talte engelsk. Hun kunne heller ikle se , at vi allerede havde betalt. Øvrigt personale var smilende og imødekommende.
Det kostede 14 €, at anvende hotellets parkeringsplads. Gadeparkering er gratis men der er få pladser

Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Essen super. Sehr schön dass ein Spielplatz in Sichtweite zum Frühstücksraum ist. So konnten die Eltern in Ruhe fertig frühstücken. Das Hotel ist jedoch ein bisschen hellhörig. Und was uns gestört hat, sind die teuren Parkplatzkosten von 14€/Nacht. Man finset in der Imgebung kostenlose Parkplätze an der Straße. Muss jedoch suchen und bereit sein ein Stück zu laufen.

Auch die Einrichtung des Zimmers war sehr modern, jedoch funktionierte eine Lampe nicht und das Bettlaken hatte einen großen Fleck auf Kopfhöhe. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist weder schön noch kann man dort viel unternehmen, aber für die Durchreise war es ok.

In meinem Zimmer war offensichtlich die Toilette nicht gereinigt worden. Zudem waren blonde lange Haare auf dem Waschtisch. Begrüßung fand durch Silberfische statt.
Die Reklamation war echt schwierig. Habe ein anderes Zimmer bekommen, bei dem war Schimmel in den Fugen der Duschkabine.
Personal hat mich nach erneuter Reklamation zur Persona non Grata gestuft.
Frühstück war in Ordnung. Es wurde auch immer wieder nachgereicht, was fehlte, bis auf den Lachs.
Parkgebühren wurden mir wegen den Schmutz erlassen. Jedoch wäre das Parken sehr teuer…
Das Bett selbst ist sehr schmal für ein Paar… aber für mich alleine hat es gepasst.
Ich wähle dieses Hotel soweit möglich nicht mehr.
Auch ist es teilweise abgewohnt.
