In all it is a reasonable place to stay if your on the road or have a few things to attend to in the area.
The fact that there is a free coffee machine in the lobby makes all the difference and keeps one caffienated during operations.
The young man at the front desk sporting an afro hair do was one of the nicest hotel employees I have met in months. A warm smile and friendly chat are a very pleasant addition to a mans stay.

Very quiet! Elevator was tricky to operate. No clear indication of where you are supposed to touch. Even the front desk staff had difficulty calling it. Clean hotel, lots of towels, free water, free coffee. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

Staff was very friendly at all times. Getting help with anything was simple. I was very forgetful with my roomkey more times than I'd like to admit and no one was bothered. Hanna working the night shift most nights while I was there was exceptional and I appreciated her saving my hat. I would not stay at this hotel again. Parking was limited and difficult to find. The staff were not helpful when asked about parking. The room smelled upon entering. I travelled here with my partner - we have been travelling for 10 days and this is not a hotel I would return to.

Nuremberg Christmas Market Visit

The Hotel is really close to the metro station and close old town. The rooms were pretty large for a European standard and really comfortable. The breakfast was quite nice with a lot of options. The Staff were great during the check in/out process and provided suggestions of activities in town (other than the Christmas Markets). The have a laundry facility in the basement with irons and ironing boards, which was nice when you want to freshen up your clothes after a couple of days traveling.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, guys from the reception, the guy from the Night Shift ( check in) and from day shift ( check out) !
Breakfast is delicious, fresh and full of option!
Parking was 7,00 euro overnight !
Air conditioning, tea and coffee, they even gave me a free bottler of water after check out when I came back to collect the car !
3 free bottle of water in the room … I had a nice stay in the hotel and would go back ! :)

The hotel lies in a quiet street just off a busy road, and less than a block away from the Nuremberg Metro (U-Bahn). It has parking on site, but you must get in early because on two out of three nights, I cam too late and had to park on the street in a time-restricted zone.
The check-in on a Sunday afternoon, when there was just one attendant at the reception, took an exceptionally long time to complete.

The hotel is very accessible by car (including parking at a reasonable price) and by public transport (the U-Bahn station is literally around the corner). As soon as you walk in the lobby you can tell this hotel has seen better days. The furniture in the lobby is dirty and worn. The whole place needs to be renovated. We were greeted by a very rude receptionist though later in the day she was replaced by a much more friendly person. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a patio door leading to a small balcony which was good because the room was so warm we needed the cool air at night in order to sleep.

It’s was honestly really good. The only issue I saw was even after having the ac on full blast all night it was still kinda warm in the room but other than that it was amazing

a very clean area, friendly staff, good internet connection.
plenty of parking place, with supermarket and pharmacy within 300m.
with a balcony for tan and laundry.

One drawback was room was very hot and even with thermo turned to 5 degress and up on full power we couldnt cool it down much, resorted to opening window but as ground floor we couldnt do that as much as needed. Did mention at reception but nothing seemed to change. Only flaw though as all else great.

We loved this hotel.

This hotel ended up being by far the best hotel out of the 9 we stayed in around Germany and Switzerland. Everything from check in to check out was perfect. To find a hotel room that had tea and coffee making facilities was something, but to also have air conditioning and a fridge was very welcome. Breakfast was excellent with an amazing array of food and beverages. The hotel is located right around the corner of a subway entrance, and also there is an excellent large supermarket across the road about 5 minutes walk. The hotel has great parking facilities out the back with easy access and easy to find in between the hotel and the Honda dealership next door. Price is quite reasonable as well. The hotel is located about 5 train stops from the old town and not to far away from other sights which can all be easily reached by train. They also have plenty of tourist info and brochures, plus a city map in many languages. This is a great hotel for families, as well as business. Oh and there is an awesome bakery right across the road. We will stay there on our next visit for sure.

Excellent Hotel

Exceptionally well managed property. The staff is well trained and provide very good service. The hotel is just a couple of hundred meters from the nearest U-bahn station making it easy to navigate Nuremberg for both business and pleasure. The breakfast is very good and the staff is on top of everyone's needs.

I would stay here again the next time we're in Nuremberg and recommend it to all travelers.

Clean, basic room

We stayed here for 2 nights in September 2018. The room was larger than most European hotels. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. We appreciated the air conditioning as it was in the mid to high 80s during our stay. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

An excellent choice for a stay in Nuremberg!

Fab location. Just around the corner from the underground, which takes you wherever you wish to go in the city. Wonderful breakfast which includes both hot and cold items. Tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom (which is almost unheard of in German Hotels). Excellent hotel!!

We stayed three nights here as part of a visit to the Nuremberg and Munich Christmas markets.

The Best Western Hotel Nuernberg City West is another example of chain hotel efficiency - you know exactly what to expect, and the team consistently delivers on those expectations.

Breakfast is excellent, the staff very helpful, and the accommodation suitably clean and comfortable, if a little hot. It was -2ºC on our first night, but the room was too hot to sleep!

If you're looking for a cheap base from which to explore Nuremberg, this hotel is a good choice.

While this is not fault of the property - it was clean and service very attentive. The hotel could use significant upgrades. Style - 1970's decor style. Tiny tiny bathroom. Great Base For Exploring City & Christmas Market

Very pleasant stay here. We booked it for the Christmas market, and we could not have chosen a more convenient location for the price. The local u bahn station was literally around the corner, it only took two or three minutes to walk from the door of the hotel to the entrance of the underground. Then it was only a short ride into the old town where we could walk around the extensive market. The breakfast was good, though gets quite busy - would recommend heading down early if you're picky about tables. The room was a lovely big size, with two single beds, a table with two chairs, and plenty of floor space, as well as a separate foyer area for the door to the room that lead to the bathroom. It served as a great base for exploring the city, though there wasn't much in the local area such as restaurants and things, so don't expect all of your needs to be met as soon as you walk out of the hotel. That said, if I was booking another trip to Nuremberg, I would definitely try and stay here again, and I would happily recommend it to friends or family!
