Lovely staff on reception, they all spoke excellent English and were always most helpful. All public areas impeccably clean and tidy. Room was perfect for our needs with a good shower room and all facilities inc. The local area felt safe and relatively quiet for a city centre, short walk to the Xmas Market and many restaurants and bars.

It was a bumpy start, the first room we were given wasn't like the pictures suggested and one of the windows didn't work. The staff quickly remedied that and upgraded us to a maisonette with a terrace and balcony. This room was cozy, modern and we were really happy for the two nights we stayed.

The hotel is in walking distance of public transport in a quiet residential area, there's also a Lidl close by for groceries.

Something to consider - this hotel has a range of different options so there are holiday makers, business people and longer term tenants so it doesn't have the traditional hotel vibe. That said, we found it very quiet.

It has a bar, but it is closed during the weekend. But it's a nice touch that you are given a bottle of water and beer per person per day in your fridge.

The hotel was perfectly located for us to visit the war crimes museum and the old town. There was free parking on the street directly opposite, which was a bonus. The room was great for the price and we could make our own breakfast from the LIDL close by. There are lots of great cafes in the area, which was ethnic but safe. Would stay again.

My pillow had human p.o.o.p. on it. I kept smelling it and wondered what it was. I finally decided to undress the bed and when I got to the pillows, they had feces all over them. I complained and they said they didn’t know where they had extra pillows. Checkout early and requested a refund for the last night and they didn’t refund me and didn’t even reach out to see if they could make it right. This place is gross. Do not stay there.

Great location - only few mins walk from 2 subway stations, only a couple of stations away from old town and most of the attractions. There is a Lidl supermarket right across the street. Love how there is a small kitchen and sitting area in the room. Highly recommended!

8/10 I would stay again with out a doubt

Easiest stay in Germany so far. Parking was easy to find and the staff was excellent. Even gave you delicious Lebkuchen, plus 2 free beers and water. The location was amazing for the city center and an easy walk or scooter ride away from anything. I loved out stay. The only down side was the cleanliness, but even then, it wasn’t too bad.

이 호텔의 최대 장점은 직원들의 자세나 서비스가 훌륭한 점이다. 건물과 객실은 오래된 건물을 그대로 보수해서 그런지 많은 부분에서 그 흔적이 보였다.바닥 난방 또한 중앙 난방으로 돼서 그런지 조정은 되지 않았지만 상당히 따뜻한 밤을 보낼 수 있었다. 미니바에는 물 두 병과 맥주 두 병이 전부였다. 아쉬웠던 점은 오래된 건물이라 그런지 방음이 제대로 되지 않았다. 또한 조식에 프렌치 토스트나 소시지 같은 것들이 많이 부족하였다. 그래도 과일은 정말 맛있었다.

I had a lovely stay at the Living Hotel in Nuremberg. The room was perfect for my needs with a kitchenette including a stove, fridge and microwave so I could cook a few meals in the hotel room. The laundry facilities were also great, cost effective and easy to use through the app WeWash. The staff were very helpful, especially when I had accidentally been placed in a smoking room, they were very happy and accommodating and moved me to a non smoking room. The only downside was the location was it was a 25 minute walk to the old town, however if you don’t mind the steps the hotel is great for a few days in Nuremberg.

This is a great place, comfortable and really well-designed. Not a huge space but because it's been laid out well it doesn't feel cramped. Slightly out of the centre, but easily walkable (and I think also plenty of transport though I didn't use it as the walk along the river into town is lovely). The immediate area doesn't look promising but it's worth exploring as there are a couple of lovely beer gardens very close by.

Perfect base for exploring Nuremberg

We loved this hotel! We (2 adults, 1 child) were staying in Nuremberg for a few days in between travelling for football and honestly this hotel was perfect. The ideal base for exploring - great location being only a 15/20 min walk in to the old town and three stops on the U Bahn (station was a one minute walk away).
The hotel itself was great. The room was ideal for us as we had a balcony and kitchen and dining space which meant we could chill out in the hotel as well, which was perfect given we are travelling with a 3 year old for two weeks.
We met the general manager who was lovely and the staff were all very friendly.

We are actually planning a return trip to Nuremberg partly because there’s so much to see and do but mostly because we 100% would stay here again and know that we had the perfect space to return to each day.

Overall experience was acceptable, but could be better for the following reasons: the most important one was the smell of the room, as rooms have a small kitchen, room smells like spices and fried food, no matter what I tried the smell was still there, even I had to sleep with an open window, staff were friendly except for the guy who is on night duty, rooms are renovated but the hotel public space like hallways and lobby still very old, carpets are very dirty, and in my case I have to walk like 5 mins to reach my room as the hotel is big but the rooms are not easy accessible.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel was clean, but vacuuming of the rooms was needed. There were some maintenance issues with the shower and the in-room safe. The owner refused to refund us the cost for the one night which we could not use because we were stranded in another town by a rail strike.

Ensure that your stay does not consist of staying in room 116 or 117. I arrived that evening and of course did not check outside the balcony window until morning. That morning, I opened the window to sit out on the balcony and there’s the cemetery. I then noticed upon check out that there isn’t even key slots for those two rooms. The key slots go up to 115 then start again at 118. It was at this point that I remembered when I checked in the receptionist grabbed the key from the desk. When I checked out she just put it back somewhere on the desk. Are these rooms issued specifically for certain people of certain ethnic backgrounds?

Stayed on the top floor, where the layout is a two story, loft style room. A great room all around. Comfy but small couch. Big bed at the top of the steps in the loft. Big kitchen table and useable work desk. Big bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Das Zimmer ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Duschbad war etwas beengt - könnte ruhig 1-2 qm größer sein (es ist wirklich sehr klein).
Ansonsten alles gut, wir würden es wieder buchen.

An OK hotel

The hotel was clean and adequate. Very average. The room was very warm and there was no way to cool it down except by opening the door to the balcony. The king size bed had two twin size comforters instead of a king. This made sleeping for two people very awkward.
The internet was good and there was nice space in the room. The little kitchenette was nice but very tight. The front desk staff was very receptive and helpful.

If you know Nürnberg well then it's an ideal location to get around. 8 minutes walks to 2 different underground stations and the S-Bahn. The room facing the courtyard was very quiet at night, the mattress comfortable, bathroom, kitchen, linens all very clean. The friendly and respectful technician helped me with a self inflicted safe problem. The only draw back was the attitude of the quite young receptionists who felt burdened and were not forthcoming with information.

Comfortable room with good in-room facilities which allowed us to prepare evening meals with ease. Within easy walking distance of two supermarkets and a few restaurants, although there is also an in-house restaurant. Nice hotel. Very difficult to find parking on the street. I suggest paying the fee and parking in the garage. I was not offered that to begin with but it worked out. Good location to get to restaurants and attractions. Maid woke us up at 9, I didn’t see and Do Not Disturb signs. Needed to get up anyway.

I would recommend this hotel. The staff were all so obliging, especially the two ladies that looked after the residents in the beer garden - they were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The property is clean and well set out but my only negative comment is that air conditioning would have made the stay more comfortable during the nights
