We were on the top floor and it was H O T hot. We had to keep the window open to cool down, but then you hear street noise. The elevators are stupid. Breakfast was pretty good- pretty complete for a non luxury hotel. They didn’t like refreshing the mini bar though, and the sauna doesn’t open until late in the day, so I couldn’t use it. They open the pool early but not the sauna, it’s weird and disappointing. Bed was firm but not terrible.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is extremely convenient.
The spa was great. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious.
A special highlight was the receptionist who spoke Ukrainian, it was incredibly touching to hear my native language.
We would definitely love to return and highly recommend this hotel to others!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the city center, and I had a wonderful view from my room on the 5th floor. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very helpful, which made my experience even better. One area for improvement would be the lack of heating in the rooms; since it was winter, having a heater available would have made my stay more comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience!

Another great Scandic experience for me. I love this brand of hotel. Staff is always great and rooms are always so nice. Having the pool and two saunas here is also so great. Only reason for 4 stars is because operations are slightly inconsistent with Frankfurt location that I also stayed at. Sauna was open an hour later there as well as gym. Otherwise, I can confidently say any time I am in a city with a Scandic hotel I will absolutely be staying.

No early check in as a courtesy for international travelers. We had to wait until 4:00… period. Then a very very long line because everyone needed to check in at 4:00. Makes no sense! The last indignity was that the bar did not open until 5:00 so nothing to do while we waited for 4:00 to roll around…

I arrived late at night and the lovely lady in reception was kind and helpful. Also explained that due to the hotel being fully booked my room had been upgrade (this was a lovely touch)

The room was fab large bathroom and very comfy bed and bedding. The bed was actually made as well. I have found over the years german hotels leave the quilt folded at the bottom of the bed and 2 singles for a double bed.

Breakfast was nice althougj did lack bacon and sausages! But the fresh made waffle iron was great, the make your own fruit juice was good as well. Seating was plentiful and staff very attenive.

A short walk over (through) the old city wall and you ate very quickly at the altstadt markt

I stayed at the Scandic Hotel twice for a total of almost two weeks and both stays were excellent. The rooms are modern, very clean, and completely soundproof, even on the street side I didn’t hear any traffic.
The daily breakfast buffet was great with plenty of fresh choices, and the staff at both the front desk and the buffet were genuinely kind and attentive. I especially want to mention Augustine at the front desk, he is the man. Such a kind and caring young man who went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable.
I was in Nürnberg for my mother’s funeral and the staff understood right away when I asked for a quiet section at breakfast. That level of compassion meant a lot.
The wellness area was another highlight. The pool was clean and relaxing, and the two different saunas were a much needed treat after long days.
Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations in comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it.

It was so nice to have such a comfortable bed with traditional linens, meaning a large blanket instead of those single folded blankets that have some sort of synthetic filler that make you overheat while sleeping.

This hotel is probably one of the best to around the Nuremberg area. It's is right across from the Nuremberg old town with just a street crossing away. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and thing to do around the areas. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city of Nuremberg. It's is also a 4 minute walk from the Main Nuremberg Train station.

I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. It’s a sizeable room in a great location, but it missed the mark on many little things. Here’s a few…they charge 20 euros for a marginally early check in, they charge an extra 10 euros for use of the pool area (which is constantly filled with squealing kids), they only supply two, cheap coffee sachets which are not renewed during your stay, the air con is inconsistent, the water pressure is weak and the mini fridge was full of the previous guests’ leftover food. Not up to the standard of other similarly priced places in Germany.

These are live saving dogs and they must be with the handler at all times. It is the by law in Germany that they must give you access. It is an embarrassment.

Enjoy staying in this place. The room was great for my family we were happily surprise on how much space we had. Great location! Walking distance from the Christmas market and a lot of nice little shops. The kids were happy to use the nice and clean pool. Breakfast was great, the little make your own waffle machine was our favorite, however dinner was ok, while waiting to be seated the waiter informed us that the kitchen was close even though closing time was an hour in a half later. We decided to stay and just order drinks.. a different waiter came to take our order and gave us the option to order food. Not sure why different information was given. German beer on tap was great.
