We stayed for one night while passing through the city on our way from north to south.

The first thing that must be mentioned is the hotel’s location – it is truly central, right in the heart of everything.

The rooms were very clean, and everything felt fresh and almost new. The overall standard was impressive for a short stay.

The staff were extremely kind and welcoming.

Without a doubt, a highly recommended place to stay.

Took us 10 minutes to get to our room.
We had to carry our luggage a few steps since the elevator only goes up one floor. They also don't have a restaurant in the hotel. If you want breakfast, you need to go to the Chinese bar next-door. I would not stay there again not very convenient.

Hotel was in a great location, Christmas Markets all around, we took a private car to Rothenburg ode de Tauber for half a day and still got to see a lot of Nuremberg with all the Christmas Markets. We were there for 2 nights and 2 days. The hotel is very contemporary, clean and comfortable. Only draw back was the front desk was closed by the time we arrived shortly after 8:00 pm but they gave us very easy directions on how to get in and where to find our room keys. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We would stay at the Melter Hotel again and recommend it to others. The young gentleman at the front desk was professional and extremely helpful. We stayed in the superior apartment which had an under the counter refrigerator, small/modern glass electric stove top and plates/utensils/etc. in room coffee and tea also provided. Beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean. The only less positive aspects were the hotel is sparsely decorated. There was a lot of floor and wall space in our room, which is a good thing-it was spacious, but they were empty. No additional furniture beyond bed and eating area and very few wall hangings. The second thing is, it seems in order to have access to all rooms you need to be very mobile. We had an exit that was somewhat close but it was quite the labyrinth to get back to our room. If you are ok with these things, then highly recommend. The location is INCREDIBLE. Close to train station and everything else.

Great location!!! “Everything” is within walking distance, including parking. We wondered if off site parking would be a problem, but it was not, not at all. Very helpful and friendly staff. In just a few minutes, walk to the market place, to St. Lawrence Church, to the impressive city gate, to shops and restaurants. Very clean throughout, spacious. Great shower, nice towels.Would stay here again without hesitation!

This is a wonderful location to explore Nuremberg. Parking is a short walk away but easy enough for two people with 2 bags. Room was large, bathroom was gorgeous. We only had a view of the roof so if that's important to you be sure to ask.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. I was upgraded upon my arrival to a large , modern and beautiful room with a fully equipped kitchen which was an added bonus. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was super delicious. This hotel exceeded my expectations! Needless to say I was very comfortable and enjoyed my stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by this small hotel...mainly because it's on the main walking/shopping street and I was somewhat dubious. That said, the location can't be beat, and it was not loud at all (I'm a light sleeper). The staff was great at check in/out and the room was a good size for my two-night stay. I was there during a heat wave and the A/C was great. Only very slight negative is that the breakfast, while good, was only OK and not a whole lot of options. If I'm in Nuremberg again, I will definitely stay here.

Very central, 7 minute walk from the train station. The staff is real friendly and the property is clean, spacious. Great addition in the room with a kitchenette, small fridge, Nespresso coffee and great tea options. Air conditioning is great during a little heat wave in Nuremberg. I had a great stay at this hotel, and one of the biggest advantages was its location. Situated right in the heart of the Old City, it’s absolutely ideal for tourists. Most of the city's major sights are easily walkable from the hotel, so you can spend your time exploring instead of commuting. If you do need public transportation, it's conveniently nearby.

There’s also a grocery store just around the corner, which made it easy to stock up on snacks and essentials for the room. I really appreciated that convenience.

The staff were always warm and welcoming—every time I came or went, they greeted me with a smile, which added a nice personal touch to the experience. Most importantly, I felt safe coming and going from the hotel at all hours. That peace of mind made a big difference during my trip.

Perfect Hotel in the heart of Old Nuremberg

The Melter never disappoints. It is clean, comfortable, the staff is helpful and kind, the aesthetics are upscale. There are washers and dryers for your use, free of charge. The location of the hotel, coupled with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the entire place is unmatched. I had last stayed there 6 years prior, and was so happy that things have not only stayed the same, but they may have actually improved a little (electric tea kettle and coffee maker seem to be in every room now).

I absolutely loved this hotel! It is very close to the train station and right in the heart of Nuremberg. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was clean and just overall cute. The rooms were spacious. They even had two washers and one dryer that you could use for free on the first floor. The breakfast was delicious and they allowed you to order eggs the way you wanted and coffee. Overall it was such a great stay!

We loved our stay at the Melter. The room was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very conveniently located. Even though it was on a main Street, the room was quiet and cool (air conditioned). The breakfast was also delicious. I would highly recommend.

Fabulous hotel with an amazing Japanese restaurant on the ground floor. I stayed with my parents in a large room with a sleeping arrangement that that was conveniently separate from them. The bed was, in fact, one of the sofas. VERY comfortable! The kitchenette, large dining table and a small balcony all added to the lovely character of this ZEN establishment. Oh, I forgot….best shower experience EVER! Will be back to this charming hotel in the center if historic Nürnberg.

What a perfect property in a perfect location at a perfect price with very knowledgeable and hospitable employees. We felt very welcomed. We now are planning on returning to Nuremberg for a longer period of time so that we could enjoy the city and this hotel for a longer period of time.

Amazing stay, great location! We arrived early morning around 9:30, as we had an afternoon tour set up in Nuremberg that same day. Our room was ready upon arrival, front desk very helpful and friendly. We were shown to our room which was very clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with choices of cooked to order eggs along with fresh breads, fruit and yogurt. Hotel is Old Town, walkable from the main train station.

The staff unhelpful we are big family and we have six rooms and we asked to change one room and we will pay more. They not accept and there is an empty room.but They are not help , we stay at that hotel many time, but now they are very bad attitude and the hotel no services in the hotel.
