The 4 Star Superior hotel NH Collection Nürnberg City- newly renovated is in the perfect location for exploring Nuremberg and the surrounding areas. Set in a modern building, the hotel is only a five-minute walk from the old town, while the city's main train station is within a few steps.
This puts guests within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and the historic Nürnberg Castle. There are 244 spacious rooms at NH Collection Nürnberg City.

The hotel was great to stay for a few days and the breakfast was good. The room was nice and spacious. The hotel corridors were also spacious too and didn't have much issues walking around the hotel. The facilities like the gym and sauna were also good if you wanted to relax after a long day. There are also board games and puzzles in the hotel lobby area for entertainment.

The tone and disrespect was so upsetting that I couldn’t sleep that night and decided to just leave without a refund. I will never return to the town or book with this hotel chain again. We have been NH customers for a long time and were satisfied until this morning….Very disappointed in terms of early bird possibility regarding breakfast for travelers. Although we had prepaid breakfast the waiter in the restaurants wouldn’t allow us to take advantage of that option at 5:30 am refused to letting us enter and come back at opening hour 6:30!! Which we unfortunately couldn’t as we had to catch our train to the airport !!!

I had a great stay at NH. Greeted with a smile by Daniela on reception, who was very helpful throughout the stay. Room was clean, nice to have a window that actually opens for fresh air. Huge bed. Gym is mainly cardio but has an interesting multi gym and a few free weights. The spa area was nice, and clean, with towels provided in the changing facilities. I didn’t try the food, but the bar area was lively with a decent selection of spirits. Would definitely stay again.

Worth it. The Ubahn entrance maybe a 3 minute walk (stairs) which makes just about anything quite accessible. The hauptbahnhof (large train station - city to city and beyond) is a 6 minute walk on ground level. The hotel itself is nice, clean, with serviceable food and very good service overall.

Proximity to the train station and town center was an easy 10 minute walk. The front desk was friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean for our one night stay. Plenty of room, and we appreciated the coffee and tea. We didn’t buy the hotel breakfast or watch TV. We didn’t mind the frosted shower “window”, not easy to see. Room was very quiet.

The parking lot it very narrow and tight to get in if you don’t have a small car and it’s a bit expensive to as a guest I think you should not pay what a non guest pays it should be a reduced fee. And finally one real annoyance - the breakfast was absurdly expensive. I generally don't book breakfast in advance - some days my itinerary means I won't have time for/don't want breakfast. I'm happy to pay a reasonable price for breakfast if I want it on the day. But not this price. Fortunately early opening bakery/cafes are abundant in Nuremberg, so I didn't starve.

Instead of room cleaning the hotel offered upon check-in to get a free drink instead of having the room cleaned. I did not want to take this offer since I like a fresh clean room during my hotel stays. However, the room never saw a maid during my 3-night stay and as an apology I was offered 1 free drink. I would not recommend this hotel, there are plenty of other accommodations nearby who might not have the same policy.

The hotel is clean and nice but I was really disappointed by the attitude and behaviour of receptionist. His name is Christian. This guy really does not know anything about how to behave to guests as well as how to inform them for hotel rules. He was so careless and his response to our questions were so rude and me and my colleague really felt very uncomfortable . For business reason I visit Nurnberg several times in a year and this was my last stay in this hotel. But it should be hotel managements’ fault because they should be responsible for their receptionists and their service quality. I do not want to accuse other NH group hotels since it is specifically related to service quality of only NH Nurnberg. So if you have options, you may ignore this hotel due to service quality of its receptionists as well as hotel management who should be following and in need of increasing service quality of its receptionists.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient - short walk to station. Some things were a bit worn or needing repair, including especially the multi-exercise fitness machine in the gym. Sauna was quite nice, but you have to know to ask them to turn it on. Until you know, you think it doesn't work. Sleep room was big and comfy, but bathtub shower was so narrow at the bottom that it made standing a bit tricky - it would be dangerous for some people.
