Very tiny room with a cheap, hard bed. Barely enough room for a queen bed. It felt like a hostel room but expensive, although it was clean. Parking is very difficult with limited street availability for check in. When we arrived, they were closed without notice. We had to wait approximately 2 hours, in a cramped and small lobby, only after other guests let us in. The staff didn't answer phone, doors, or parking garage buzzers. Literally just let us sit outside in the rain, without a care. When we finally got in, the crew was present, so the few of us, who actually got in, asked for them to, assist us with garage access and check in. They declined due to holding a crew meeting. This cost us 2 hours of sight seeing and Christmas Marketing, and it's of no consequence to them.

Good location - close to subway station and Main train station. Clean and minimalistic and excellent on price. Major negative was AC is advertised but they don't have one. And my room started pumping hot air and there was no one after 11pm to attend to. I had to open window to let cold air get in and by morning room temperature was 30C. Finally housekeeping turned main switch off from inside wall panel to my relief.
Breakfast was good, place felt clean and comfy and staff was very friendly otherwise. Allowed me to store my luggage after checkout.

The overall was ok. The problem was that they did not clean my room. I complained after the first night and they apologize and promise that this will not happen again. The following day I returned and the room was again not clean.

For a cheap B&B, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless and had everything I needed for a short stay. It was comfy and practical and enjoyable to stay in. The breakfast was simple and also practical - but had everything you needed and for the price it's an excellent service. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

The rooms are a bit small, there's no extras in the room (you get linen, a TV, the eco-friendly liquid soap/shampoo that a lot of hotels are beginning to use, and an electric kettle but no tea or coffee), and beyond the restaurant downstairs, there are no other amenities on site either. But it looks and feels much nicer than any similarly priced hotel I've been to in Germany. I tend to look for bargains on lodging when we travel (because the goal is not to spend all our time in the hotel), and this is beyond a bargain. 5/5 for B&B, I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Nürnberg.

Zum wiederholten Male (wie auch in anderen Häusern der Kette) funktionierte der Check-In Automat nicht, als die Rezeption unbesetzt war, obwohl Buchungsnummer und Nachname (mit und ohne Doktortitel) korrekt eingegeben wurden. Sie schließt nicht vollständig sodass man beim Toilettenbesuch des zimmerpartners quasi live dabei ist. Eine Aussparung auf Höhe der Fußleiste hätte das verhindert. Lobby und Bar im Empfang nur mäßig sauber und früh geschlossen obwohl noch Tische besetzt waren .

Das Hotel war einfach zu finden, ab Plärrer noch 1 Station mit der Straßenbahn Linie 4 oder 10, die genau am Hotel hält. Am Check-in war ein sehr freundlicher junger Mann, der mir dann ein Zimmer zum Hinterhof gab, da sei es ruhiger. Und händigte mir noch 1 Fl. Wasser aus, was sehr nett war bei über 30 Grad. Das Zimmer hatte eine schräge Wand überm Bett, für 2 Personen wäre das nicht optimal, aber ich war alleinreisend. Das Bad war immens geräumig, ob dies im Winter hinreichend warm wird ?
