If you want to feel like a King or Queen stay here. This experience at Il Tosco is second to none. The outstanding warm friendly service from Angelina & the magnificent breakfast from Corlie was truly amazing. We were lucky to have the home to ourselves many nights, it felt like we were in our own little palace. Beautiful setting, lovely views & exceptional service made our stay unforgettable. A truly unique visit in a beautiful town. This is what movies are made of. Don’t miss out.

If we had to return to one place in all of Italy, we’d choose Il Tosco. It was absolutely SPECTACULAR! Elena was the most wonderful hostess, providing many recommendations, of which every one was spot on!

The breakfast was out of this world - better than any place we’ve ever stayed. Kitchen was stocked with the most delicious olive oil cake and many other goodies around the living area to enjoy.

Walkable to everything in Montepulciano.

I could not overstate how wonderful this bed and breakfast is - RUN, don’t walk to make your reservation here. Two nights was not enough!

What a spectacular stay! My family chose this place as home base for our week in Tuscany and it’s literally one of the most incredible places we have ever stayed- the building has an amazing history- the rooms were beautiful and furniture stunning- lots of hot water- very clean- high quality linens etc
The breakfasts prepared by the owner were over the top good- and she always lefts many cakes- desserts and snacks for my family - as well as fruit- treats and drinks - there are many restaurants in waking distance and you are right in the historic center with shops and wine tastings - all of the staff were amazing - highly highly recommend- we had the two rooms and private sitting room and it was huge and very private for our family - we will be back!

Solo cuatro habitaciones, la nuestra \"Dante\" es la más amplia con vista a las colinas y viñedos toscanos. Simplemente sublime. Desde la reconstrucción de los techos y frisos al modo renacentista, muebles de época y ambientación como si fuera tu propia casa. El baño de los mejores, con iluminación y diseño chic y contemporáneo, pero manteniendo el encanto del Palazzo. El jacuzzi, soberbio. Lo mejor es disponer de la casa entera para los huéspedes, con bebidas y delicias culinarias que la dueña prepara con amor. Su pasión por Il Tosco le pone alma italiana a un lugar para volver muchas veces. Comenzar cada mañana en esa mesa de comedor con una atención personal y exquisiteces fatto in casa es la mejor manera de conocer un lugar con encanto. Gracie per tutti. Volveríamo!

Hosts were absolutely amazing! The breakfast was unbelievable, rooms very comfortable and very close to the heart of the city. Main piazza is about a 2 min walk.

Upon arrival the gost gave us a rundown on the best places to eat and shop in the city, as well as some day trip options in Val D'orcia

Angelina was incredibly helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay. Elena’S mother made the most delicious baked goods. Wonderful location for exploring Montepulciano. Loved that we could easily walk from the property to dinner and shops. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Amazing breakfast and the family suite was very spacious.

Il Tosco is a quiet, clean and charming place to stay while traveling in Tuscany. The common rooms are cozy and the elegant breakfasts are the best we encountered in Italy. This is a wonderful place to stay with a local quality. Well worth the higher cost.

The only thing better than the property was the attentive team. An excellent stay, and I would highly recommend the property. The room was spacious, clean, and modern and the overall property offered great services - a kitchen, homemade pastries / coffee around the clock, and a great location to boot. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Magical place to call home in Montepulciano

Amazing place, cannot imagine a better, more magical stay for our group of 5 adults, renting out the whole house. Elena was amazing, gave us great advice for local attractions and helped us by booking dinner reservations and a wine cellar tour. Angelina was also fantastic with our morning breakfasts and other logistics of our stay. Rooms were fantastic, common rooms beautifully designed and spacious, a great blend of historical charm and modern amenities. The breakfast was simply outstanding, felt like royalty with the spread and the uniquely prepared items each of the 3 mornings we were there.

This place is a gem! The great reviews steered me to this booking and they were correct! The owner bakes lovely cakes and has them on offer all day through your stay. This gives a lovely feeling of welcome. Very much reminded me of my Italian relatives and I felt wonderful in our stay there.

Room was comfortable, shower and bedding very good.

Breakfast amazing, sit down service, at a shared table.

Parking is down the hill at a lot with reserved spots. Dinner is in town and we were advised to get reservations but didn't do so; the advice was correct and most places were fully booked.

We ultimately found a great one, called The Romantic, overlooking the valley behind the main plaza in the upper town. It had the best breeze, the best food, and the most engaging staff! We returned the next day.

Montepulciano is a wonderful town, and this is a wonderful place to stay, and I would highly recommend and would gladly return! Our favorite of our entire visit to Tuscany.

This grand residence will leave you speechless. Give it at least a few nights, stay here as base to discover the region. Every early morning and evening when tourists are not present you will love the walks and bars....
This host is exceptional. So generous and hospitable they leave something nice to eat in every corner 24/7. From range of fruits, sweets daily pastry to a wine collection and liquors. Their included breakfast by itself is worth €50 with silver cutlery etc. Will definitely come back. Regards

Wow. Stunning hotel. Extremely well thought out with amenities and design, very comfortable. Beautiful common areas. And really, the best breakfast we had in our entire 3 week stay in Italy. Homemade pastries, fresh fruits, meats and cheeses. Cakes and pastries available 24/7 in common kitchen. All included. Wonderful advice for trip planning specific to your interests. What a wonderful stay, wish we could have stayed longer.

Fabulous!

Can I rate it more than a 10? LOVED this place! So tastefully decorated. Breakfast made by host’s Italian parents - sooo good! And coming back after a day out - complimentary serve yourself bar and open kitchen with homemade desserts. This place was homey, super clean, and the view from our windows were like something out of a movie set in Tuscany. Also host drew us directions to best places to visit -from Cortona to throughout the Val d’ Orcia region. Truly fabulous.

Elena is a wonderful host and her property is absolutely perfect: location, decoration, breakfast, service... She takes care of every little detail,you could feel like you are at home...she also made a reservation for dinner and gave us important recommendations. Genuinely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed.( and I have stayed in some amazing places around the world) Nothing was a problem, super friendly, beautiful home cooked food on display with instructions of “if it’s there, eat it”. ( as I did coming in late at night😬) Warm, luxurious, historical, super charming and super clean. Genuinely blown away. Thank you!

Excellent hotel in every way, Elena, was the perfect host so helpful and welcoming. The rooms are traditional Tuscan with all the modern conveniences. All the food was freshly cooked by Elena’s mother and was delicious. The breakfast was never ending so beautifully prepared.

Wish I could use a 20 to rate this wonderful stay

I only wish I could rate them with a 20. This was the most amazing stay we have ever experienced. The hotel itself is a small apartment adjoining an incredible living room where they would serve us breakfast each morning. This is a wonderful family that runs the establishment and made us feel very much at home

Our Tuscan Home away from home

This is our second visit to IL Tosco and I look forward to our next visit and the one after that and the one .......... The accommodations the food the staff ( all family members) are the best. Beautiful decorations a mix of antiques and modern comfort items. Worth a visit anytime of the year.
