The rooms are quite noisy where we can hear what's going on in other rooms.
I had a studio where I thought there was a separate bedroom. I was misled by the pictures and description. All 3 beds were in the same room......

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and the accommodation totally served our purpose. The pool area including the furnishings would benefit of a little bit more TLC. On the negative side for us, there is no wi-fi access in the room or on the terrace. However, you can connect at the reception or in the restaurant area.

Corail Residence cancelled our reservation without explanation. So I have no opinion about their facilities, but I feel that they treated very badly.We had to scramble (with the help of Orbitz) to find other lodging at short notice. We wound up staying at Residence Marine Hotel le Diamant, which was very good.

It is a nice hotel close to a very beautiful quiet sandy beach. It has a good restaurant and each apartment has a kitchen. You need to have a car to explore the island or to get to the grocery store. Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel, great restaurant on the premises, Julie at reception was very helpful. Kitchen in unit was great to have. Sunset view of diamond rock from our room was spectacular . Mabouya beach was a 2 minute walk away. Loved the beach and restaurant , Aqua Grill, at banana fond beach, quick drive away. Park at corps de garde beach and walk to the left. Short drive to beautiful beach at Diamant.

Very good location, close to a quiet beach

We stayed at Corail for over a week. Over all a very pleasant experience. The main thing - it was very clean, which for me is the most important element. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but there is a decent, although very overrated restaurant at the hotel. On the expensive side as well. The staff is very friendly and we could get by without French. Parking is sufficient. There are no beach chairs at the beach which would be nice for the hotel to have for rent. Also, would be nice to have a toaster and a cutting board in the kitchenette. We did not use the swimming pool, so can't comment on that. The lights in the room are quite dim, we couldn't read in the evening.

So, location and cleanliness , and the beach were the reasons I would recommend it.

Hotel was in very good condition and spotless! Stsff hellpful. Quiet location with easy access to roads leading to other areas, as well as town. I found a path by the beach which led to all of the local beaches! Areawas safe.

Stayed in the Martinique room, great view, lovely grounds, renovated restroom. Great staff, even with the communication problem, i speak no French and their English not great. In house, open air, quaint french restaurant is good, definitely have dinner here even if you don't stay here. Not the Ritz, but if you want to be in this part of the island book it. Complaints; not great bed and no Wifi (which was a big deal with no English speaking TV)

We stayed for 1 week and loved every moment. We chose to not rent a car as we love to walk. We were very content to stay at the hotel, swim and walk on the beautiful beach, and eat the fantastic dinners offered at the hotel. The view is gorgeous from every room and the hotel is on a lovely walking path to Saint-Luce, which is a quaint fishing village. The pool is clean and pleasant. The hotel is comfortable and casual with upscale dining, great service.

a good basecamp

Very pleasant experience, located a stroll away from anse mabouya, a very nice, kid friendly sandy beach, we were able to jog daily by the coast path uniting all the beaches till ste luce. Kitchen facility and restaurant are very convenient.
Only downside was that our room was right under the restaurant and a bit noisy but not to the point of being an issue.

It is hard to describe how special this place is.

Is it a 5-star luxury resort? No. Is it on the beach? No. But it's quiet, the staff are awesome, the restaurant food is AMAZING, the room is clean and comfortable, the views of the water and Diamond Rock are spectacular, and the fully stocked kitchenettes are great. It's a very relaxed vibe they have achieved. If you drive in at night, be careful not to miss the many signs from the N5 that guide you to the hotel. The hotel is pretty remote, one of its most lovely qualities once you actually find it!

Great Quiet Escape in Martinique

Had a great 4 night stay at the hotel corail. It's a very secluded and quiet hotel right outside of Sainte Luce, so it was a great getaway. Also really enjoyed that there was a quiet beach about a 5 min walk from the hotel, and the staff were all very helpful and friendly!

Very easy to find the hotel from the airport. Just a straight drive on the N5.

We had a lovely stay. Our room was on the second floor and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. The porch area doubled as an efficiency kitchen so we could sit, eat and enjoy the gorgeous view. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spotless. They only clean the room on Tuesdays but that was fine with us. The restaurant was great--overlooked the ocean. The food was very good. They have dinner every night--should have reservations, a continental breakfast (not included with room rate) and lunch on weekends only. I would advise bringing an electrical adapter. We were told these were available so we did not bring our own. The hotel only had one and it didn't work so we were unable to charge our computer. They do have an I-phone charger in the restaurant. The hotel is located in a neighborhood area but it was very quiet. The beach was a 5 minute walk from the hotel--not crowded at all.
Overall we had a really nice stay. Would stay again

We were very disappointed with this hotel and/or Hotel. com. The full cost of our three night stay, over $700, was withdrawn in August, 2014, WHEN WE BOOKED THE STAY, 6 months before we arrived! Also, withdrawal was in US$, not euros the local currency, which cost us as the euro went down in value. We will never use Hotel.com again for allowing this practice.

Great staff, so-so rooms and amenities

The whole staff is wonderful and very friendly, but only a few speak English and no Spanish for non French speakers. Not a big deal though. The restaurant is very good and the dining room/lobby area has a very relaxing cabana atmosphere with fantastic views of the water and beach.
They could really improve the pool area by just trimming the brush and tree tops that completely blocks all the views of the ocean and mountains, it is their biggest asset and it would make the pool, which is not so great, 100 % better.
The rooms are very spartan but clean. The bathroom nice but WAY too dark, and the towels cheap and worn and inadequate. The Internet wifi is ok most of the time but I heard from other guests that it was not available in their rooms.
On the whole, I would stay again for the staff and the price and the food, but bring your own towels and a descent pillow for the room.

Great staff and a Nice Hotel!

The hotel is far from Fort de France, and the taxi ride was expensive to get there. However, the staff was extremely helpful and the hotel were great for us. We really enjoyed our time there. The room was small, but had an outdoor kitchen area, which was nice for enjoying morning coffee. The bath was slightly dark, though modern. It had a shower stall with no tub, but this wasn't a problem for us. There is a footpath near the hotel, which will allow you to easily walk to at least 5 great beaches, some of which are very quiet and secluded. You may also walk all the to the town of Ste. Luce on this path, but it would be a vigorous walk unless you are fit.

The highlight of the place was the staff, who really went out of their way to help us solve every problem that we had, during our stay and even after we checked out. I will always remember their kindness, and highly recommend this hotel. Our French was limited, but they made us feel welcome and helped us enjoy Martinique!

Great location but needs improving

Let's just say that this hotel is in a fabulous location and has lots of potential, but . . . .Hotel just bought by friendly couple who have their work cut out for them. Facilities could use some attention and freshening up. First room they put us in had moldy ceiling in bathroom. Rooms were not cleaned daily. It's spartan, not \"luxe,\" but we were not prepared for how spartan. Of the 6 nights we stayed, only had maid service twice. Kitchenette was not well appointed, but restaurant has a good chef and most meals were excellent. Hubby is also bartender and he did a great job. Restaurant and bar have fabulous view. And, while all rooms technically have ocean view, clearly some are much better than others. Particularly unattractive is the barbed wire surrounding the whole facility. Maybe they can plant some vines to cover?

quiet neighborhood on Martinique

there are pluses and minuses about the hotel being in a residential neighborhood - the area was pretty and quiet, but were not able to walk into town. overall the stay was enjoyable as we were right near the ocean and had a spectacular view. since there are very few restaurants near by it was very useful having a kitchen. it is a good location for going to other points on the island, i.e. day trips.

Hatte eine California Massage für 60 Minuten gebucht. Die Masseurin waren am Anfang nicht sehr euphorisch oder einladend um es mal so auszudrücken aber die Massage an sich war sehr schön. Dans l'ensemble plusieurs points positifs L'hôtel est bien situé, plutôt agréable et joli, bien entretenu dans l'ensemble Le personnel agréable La chambre était grande et bien équipée, la kitchenette sur la terrasse est un plus pour un séjour en famille mais considérant le prix relativement élevé des nuits, du petit déjeuner, du restaurant (le seul disponible dans le coin), je m'attendais à un autre niveau de prestation
Chambre pas disponible à mon arrivée (15h10), promiscuité et vis à vis sur la terrasse, vue sur les autres chambres et le restaurant, assez bruyant du fait de la proximité de l'accueil ...
Un bon séjour mais qui ne valait pas son prix

Peu mieux faire!!!

Le lieu ne casse pas 3 pâtes à un canard ,tu vas là pour avoir un lieu où dormir. Le petit déjeuner est correcte ,par contre le restaurant c’est une horreur!!! pour toutes personnes qui souhaite découvrir la nourriture local avec des étoiles dans les yeux pour le coup oublier si tu as faim tu apprécieras 10 fois plus un Macdo

Séjour vraiment idéal, l’hoteL est à deux pas des plages, carrément magnifiques, les plus belles de l’ile A notre goût. Petite structure familiale, où vous trouverez accueil, gentillesse, service, propreté..les chambres avec coins cuisine sont top..vraiment rien a dire. J’ai rencontré des clients du ressort 5 étoiles à côté qui auraient préféré notre hôtel!

Vraiment une vue splendide du restaurant et de la piscine sur le rocher du Diamant! Quelques chambres ont aussi cette chance. L’accueuil est des plus chaleureux et l’atmosphère est à la détente. Tout est pratique et on emprunte les chaises pour la plage ainsi que le guide de la Martinique pour découvrir les plages des environs. Je recommande chaudement cet hôtel où la gastronomie est supérieure!

Quelques jours off en amoureux pr couper du quotidien. La vue de l'hôtel sur la mer est parfaite pr cela et on se lasse pas du beau coucher de soleil. Quelques remontées d'odeurs désagréables d'égoût de tps à autres de la terrasse en rdc et qq nuisances sonores ds les parties communes à mentionner aussi. Mais globalement satisfaits!

Bonne adresse pour profiter du soleil et de la mer

Séjour agréable avec chambre au rdc avec vue sur le diamant mais porte d'entrée donnant sur le parking donc avec les nuisances sonores. Heureusement que les clients étaient calmes et ne sortaient pas la nuit. Serrure de porte à huiler car difficile d'y enlever la clé. Manque de luminosité dans la salle de bain et pas mal de coupure de courant. Ce sont juste des petites choses à améliorer pour être au top.

Il est de ces endroits où l'on se sent immédiatement comme chez soi... L'accueil des patrons, la chambre, la vue, l'ambiance, la nourriture... Tout y est! : se faire réveiller par le bruit des vagues, admirer le diamant en prenant son petit déjeuner, filer se balader le long de la mer, profitez d'une situation idéale sur l'ile dans la partie la plus ensoleillée.. Merci pour ce fabuleux séjour...

Chambre correcte sans plus. Kitchenette pratique si on ne veut pas se ruiner au resto de l'hôtel qui est bon mais cher. Le personnel est très sympa. Par contre le wifi qui ne passe pas dans les chambres c'est un gros point négatif de mon point de vue car le réseau mobile n'est pas très bon non plus à cet endroit...

Wir hatten eine Ferienwohnung ohne Verpflegung im Hotel gebucht. Unsere Wohnung hatte einen wunderschönen Meerblick.
Die Wohnung war gut eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Alle drei Tage bekamen wir neue Bettwäsche und Handtücher und die Zimmer wurden frisch gereinigt.
Die Mitarbeiter des Hotels sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Zweimal haben wir Abends im angeschlossenen Restaurant gegessen. Das Essen dort ist excellent und das Preisniveau ist gerechtfertigt.
Gäste im Hotel sind hauptsächlich Franzosen, aber während unseres Aufenthalts auch Amerikaner und Deutsche.
Für Einkäufe, Restaurantbesuche außerhalb und Ausflüge ist ein Mietwagen dringend zu empfehlen.

Zwischen zwei schönen Karibischen Stränden gelegen

Die Lage des Hotel ist super um an den Strand zu gehen, sind nur 5 min zum einen und 10 min zu anderen.
Insgesamt ist ein Mietwagen zu empfehlen, denn der nächste Supermarkt ist in knapp 2 km Entfernungen, auch über einen tollen Stadtspaziergang zu erreichen. Küchenzeile ist in die Terrasse integriert. Mein Zimmer hatte Blick auf den Pool und dahinterliegend das Meer.

Prima Hotel mit gutem Service.

Schön für unseren Weihnachsurlaub und die Erkundung der wunderschönen Insel mit dem Leihwagen. Allerdings hat das Wetter mit viel und teilweise heftigem Regen nicht so ganz mitgespielt (soll wohl seit 10 Jahren nicht mehr so viel im Dezember geregnet haben). Auch die Moskitos haben uns reichlich mit Ihren Stichen genervt.

Accueil parfait , Julie est formidable on a l'impression de retrouver une amie.
L'appartement est spacieux et bien équipé. Télé avec canal+. Belle situation .avec vue sur le diamant , piscine et jardin fleuri très agréables. Bon restaurant où sont servis des mets de qualité bien présentés.

Comme à la maison, des propriétaires généreux qui vous accueillent de la meilleures façon. Le restaurant vaut le détour, un service décontracté et néanmoins courtois (pas si fréquent). Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins pour vous être agréables. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Bon séjour dans l'ensemble, chambre correcte avec climatisation appréciable ainsi que le coin cuisine qui permet d'être libre de déjeuner ou dîner librement à toutes heures.
Par contre, je trouve que le restaurant applique des prix excessifs pour la qualité des plats...

Bon accueil à l'arrivée. Chambre en rdc, vue tronquée par un mur sinon joli panorama.Bruyante par la proximité de l'accueil. Salle de restaurant agréable. Piscine mal entretenue: liner sale, mobilier vieux et disparate. Bonne position de l'hôtel.

A recommander pour un séjour en Martinique

Séjour agréable et reposant. Studio idéal pour deux (prévu pour 3 personnes) avec une jolie vue sur la mer. Petite terrasse cuisine bien aménagée. Hôteliers accueillants et prêts à rendre service avec le sourire. Restaurant de qualité dans l'Hôtel.
Hôtel simple mais propre et agréable. Chambres bien insonorisées.
A recommander pour un séjour en Martinique.

Renoviertes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel

Wirklich einziger Minuspunkt ist das WLAN, welches nur in der Lobby funtioniert.
Im 21. Jahrhundert sollte meiner Meinung nach unbedingt ein Router im Zimmer sein.
Ausser man will sich mit der \"Digital Detox\" - Zeit selber belügen.

Accueil très chaleureux; toute l'équipe est charmante, et disponible. Vue sur le diamant de la chambre et de tout l’hôtel en général.
Le restaurant est réputé et c'est vraiment mérité.
La situation à proximité de l'anse Mabouya est appréciable.
Un petit bémol concerne cependant le studio qui pour nous était situé dans le bâtiment principal au dessus du restaurant et des cuisines avec le désagréments du bruit. Je pense que les studios situés dans l'immeuble plus récent sont beaucoup plus agréable.

Excellent emplacement pour découvrir le sud

Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour son emplacement et sa petite capacité. Nous avons été très sensible à l'accueil de l'équipe qui à répondu à toutes nos demandes. Le restaurant est très agréable et nous avons apprécié la cuisine, le petit déjeuner est très correct, la salle à une vue exceptionnelle. L'hôtel est situé à 2 mn à pieds de la mer et le chemin des douaniers le longe, au lever du jour c'est très appréciable pour une balade tranquille. La chambre est confortable la literie de qualité, tout est neuf et au goût du jour. Le bémol c'est l'emplacement \"cuisine ouverte sur l'extérieur\" qui ne permet pas de profiter de la vue splendide vu la configuration de lieux, il faut rester debout.

Wir hatten das Hotel wegen der Bewertungungen im Internet gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht.
Man braucht allerdings einen Mietwagen, da eigentlich nichts in Gehentfernung ist. Falls man im Dunkeln ankommt, ist es sinnvoll die Koordinaten des Hotels ins Navi einzugeben. Es gibt aber schon Hinweisschilder an der N5.

Un bémol : J'ai une peur bleue des chiens et il y a 3 en permamence a l'accueil et en liberté. Les responsables assurent qu'ils sont gentils mais cela rebute quand on en a peur.

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel, Seeblick und Spitzenküche

Wir waren vom 27.06.2015-01.07.2015 in diesem herrlich ruhig gelegenem Hotel direkt am Meer.
die Wohungen sind sehr originell, der Balkon ist die Freiküche mit Sitzecke direkt aufs Meer, die vom Wohnraum mit Glastür abgetrennt ist. Knallige Farben dominieren, sehr geschmackvoll, besonders das edle Bad.
Die Küche ist spektakulär - richtig französische Küche zu bezahlbaren Preisen. Wir waren begeistert ebenso vom umwerfend freundlichem Service und dem herrlich gelegenen Hotelrestaurant. Man spricht sogar deutsch und englisch.
Wunderschöne kleine \"Anse\" Bucht zum Baden und relaxen unter Meermandelbäumen, ganz naturbelassen, traumhaft.
In den nächsten Ort fährt man nur 5min, sehr schön besonders am Wochenende die vielen kleinen Grillrestaurants direkt am Meer.
