The room is fine, although the temperature cannot be adjusted and is warm for a Canadian’s comfort. The room charge was collected at check in rather than check out, and an addition 200 euro deposit was collected at the same time.

Enjoyed my stay at this lovely Garden Hotel. It was conveniently located near restaurants and parking was available on the nearby streets.
The buffet breakfast was delicious! Housekeeping could be improved.
Would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Trois-Ilets!

Modern hotel in Trois Ilets

This is a comfortable hotel, located across the street from the Creole Village, with its shops and restaurants. My room was spacious and modern. Service was excellent. I enjoyed my meals in the hotel's restaurant.

I did have one problem with my room. When I wanted to go to bed, I could not turn off the lights! When the technician could not fix the problem, I was moved to another room.

Resort is very nice with a great location and the center pool is a highlight. Service, while very friendly is very slow. We had to wait 45mins past check-in time to get into our room (3pm check-in) and there were multiple instances where we would be waiting for a bartender or waiter to attend to us. We were on island time, not rushing, but there was an instance where I was the only person at the bar and the bartender let me wait 20 mins so he could finish a conversation with a colleague. Evening restaurant service though was excellent!

We liked our stay at La Pagerie a lot. It’s an easy walk from the ferry, and in a busy lively area.

The staff spoke good English, and check in was easy. Our room had good air conditioning and a big comfy bed. The balcony and coffee making area was also a nice addition.

The grounds were well maintained - look for the pet tortoise’s little pen! The pool was really nice too and the bar staff were friendly and made some great drinks.

The only downside is that parking can be hard to come by in the area so you may need to drive around for a bit if you have a rental car.

Overall we would recommend La Pagerie to anyone staying in Martinique!

Comfortable rooms with nice pool

The room was clean and comfortable. The housekeepers were really good. The lobby was welcoming. But the koi fish in the trench in the lobby did not have any space to move, which upset me every time I walked by them. The pool area was very nice with a relaxed vibe and was never crowded. We liked the location near the shops, marina, beach and ferry. The food in the restaurant was not good at all though they made it look nice on the plate.

€300 per room card hold!

Stayed many times previously no welcome back/drink or upgrade, fair enough. Booked several months previously and apparently after I had booked they had changed the room card deposit/hot from €100 per room to €300 per room! This is for a €120 night hotel. Last time I stayed my room deposit sat in pending for a month untk it finally dropped back into my account. No way was I giving them €600 (two rooms) to hold until they decide to return it! I am a gold member and stay in many hotels all over the world and the biggest deposit I have ever been asked to pay is £150, so why they are asking everyone for €300 is beyond me. The hotel was having major renovation and all day banging drilling and painting, the lift out of action. Because I refused to give the deposit as I wasn’t previously informed they then demanded I left my passport with them. They treat customers like criminals and apart from the majority of the staff being amazing especially the breakfast staff and gizzelle in housekeeping a brilliant location I will not be staying again.

Noisy and Rude Staff

Quite simply the noisiest hotel ever stayed in...and also the reception staff where not particularly friendly and accomodating

Pre-arrival I contacted the hotel and asked for a quite room - no response.
On checkin I aaked again amd the response wa 'the room alloated is normally ok'.

Actually the room was above an ice cream / cafe and alao above the hotel restaurant/breakfast room so double whamy - dragging chairs and moving furniture until 12.30am only for it to start again at 07.00 in the morning with dragging furniture, tipping cuttlery into trays...
So... do not stay here if you want to relax and enjoy a good nights sleep - it simply won't happen.

Staff generally treat you like you are trying to rob the place - from panicking that trying to get away without paying for breakfast (becasue they cannot find you in the breakfast room) and standing over you whilst another fetches the bill..

As for Pool Towels....No possibility for 2 days to change wet pool towels - told no twice on consequtive days.
First day was a flat blank no despite having the towels 2 days and they being wet.

Second day, the first comment was no because you are checking out today even though we had been told it was ok to use the pool as our flight was not until 20h. The response was no you can keep the wet used towels.. Then another receptionsit told us there were no towels..
Actually they have issues to wash them and people steal them - implying i wanted to steal them...

Fabulous breakfast and staff serving at all bars. The reception staff let this place down. Very standoffish. No recognition for being a returning guest, no recognition for being a gold member. Nothing, I couldn’t get the WiFi password to work and receptionist told me I need to learn and go back to my room and keep trying! It didn’t work and she had to swop the code. No early check in they wanted €50 for late check out and no upgrade. The location of the hotel is great with bars cafes shops and restaurants on the doorstep.

The Hotel building was nice & the rooms had space. The lobby & restaurant were pleasant. The rooms might be 3.5 stars

We had the most difficulty getting good information from the staff! Before we arrived I asked for help understanding the COVID requirements for the country and they sent me a correct chart in French but told me the wrong information about it. I had to keep going back & forth with emails until they finally confirmed what I thought the chart said.

In advance, I asked to switch the 1 big bedroom to 2 twin beds & they agreed to. When we arrived I asked & they said yes. When we got to the room it was still 1 big bed. We didn't have time to waste that late due to the curfew. We asked that when they got the right room together to transfer our bags.

After dinner we went to the new room and things were missing. We called asking and they said they'd look. Later we found our items behind the front desk.

We wanted to enjoy the beach the last day but they said that we needed to get to ferry to St Lucia 3 hours early and that the local ferry wasn't dependable & we needed to allot more time for that. We got to the Ils des express ferry & they weren't even open yet! Also the local ferries were always on time, we needn't have taken the earlier one. So we wasted time at an empty ferry station when we could have enjoyed the beach. and the ferry lines took so long, the ferry didn't leave until after 8. That man had us on the 4:20 local ferry.

Swimming pool area is stunning and bar pool is cool.

Hotel La Pagerie- Perfect!!

Hotel La Pagerie was such an amazing stay. The room has a small kitchen area with fridge which was handy to do a bit of shopping and make your own breakfast if you don’t want to pay the expensive price of 20€ per person for breakfast. The hotel is clean and beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need. No need to bring towels, toiletries, hair dryers etc, all provided. The staff speak very good English and go out of their way to help. The swim up bar is so nice for sitting sipping cocktails in the sun. The bed was the comfiest I have ever slept on and the bed is so huge I could stretch my arms out and still not touch either sides of the bed! Village Creole right next to the hotel has some lovely restaurants where we ate each night and the beautiful marina is a stones throw away. You need a car if you want to explore the island but the beaches are just a few minutes walk and there are some lovely restaurants right on the sand. Overall an amazing stay, thank you b

The hotel is in a nice location, pretty stores and nice restaurants. The room is spacious and clean. You can hear through the walls (baby crying, slamming doors) but nothing that kept us up at night. Huge bed and a cute balcony. It’s expensive and I wouldn’t say worth the price, breakfast is basic but all in all, nice experience.

We loved this hotel!! It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The pool was too chilly and we rarely saw anyone in there. We stuck to the beach everyday. There were two that were about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. AMAZING location! It is next to the Creole Village which has all of the shops, bars, and restaurants you could need. A 5 minute walk down the road is the marina, which is great for excursions or a dinner on the water. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. They scheduled taxis, pointed us in the right direction, and gave us converters when we forgot ours. Would recommend 100% and would come back.

The staff at the hotel were all so friendly and helpful.
The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. Really enjoyed the hotel and facilities.
The pool and swim up bar are a strong plus point. The hotel serves a substantial breakfast and has a good a la carte in the evening. The town around has good restaurants and car hire places to explore the Island. The main attraction of this location is the proximity to the harbour, loads of fantastic boat tours.
The downside (and not the fault of the hotel) is that it is not beachside. The local beaches are ok, but not the best. Enjoy the hotel and take a trip or two.

3 star hotel max. I would rate this hotel as a clean motel. Minimal amenities and staff speaks very limited English except for the manager.

There is live music across the street until 1:30am on Saturday - so don’t book if you sleep early and want a quiet night in.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The beds were very comfortable, pool was clean and refreshing, and the lobby was very pretty and comfortable to hang out. The only thing I was disappointed in, was spending the extra money to have a garden view. We were stuck at the end of the row facing the garden. Because of this our balcony seemed to be smaller than others. It might have been the same size, but the view was partially blocked. I would not spend the extra money next time.

Buffet breakfast was way overpriced - twenty dollars per person - for mediocre quality and selection. (The coffee machine was great!)
I've NEVER experienced such calming hot water in a hotel bathroom - dangerously so. Yet the hotel in other ways is environmentally caring.
Housekeeping forgot at least one towel 2 times out of 5.
Very comfortable bed/pillow.
Why can't tropical hotels equip their patios with screen doors?
Noise from the lobby carried directly up 2 floors to our bathroom.

This is clearly one of the best places to stay in Martinique. It is clean, the staff is fabulous, and it is close to many great little restaurants. If you're looking for a place with great beach options within walking distance, this isn't the place for you, since there are \"OK\" places nearby. Of course, if you go to Martinique, you want to get a car and visit the entire island, including its array of beaches. Here are two things management could improve: more outlets (including US friendly outlets) and some small sofas or loveseats, instead of just chairs in the rooms. Otherwise, they're doing fabulous and, again, the staff is great.

Love Martinique! The hotel was great...located close to shops, beach and dock (shuttle boat). Recommend renting car (apparently there are very few automatic mostly stick shift) as it is 30-40 minutes from airport. If driving be aware that Martinique has lots of hlls, rotaries and very dark at night, no street lights but we felt extremely safe. There were NO crazy, angry and impatient drivers like in US. Taxi from airport to hotel was very expensive, especially at night. Paid $80 Euros. The people were absolutely beautiful inside and out...French speaking but were patient and kind to non-French speakers (unlike Paris). Food and restaurants were great...the wait time can be long for food to be prepared so don’t go to restaurant starving you may become “hangry” waiting for your food to arrive. Finally the only frustration we had was the public smoking. Because all restaurants are open to the outdoors, smoking is allowed in restaurants and there are no non-smoking sections. It wasn’t a deal breaker and didn’t happen at every meal but it was annoying as a non smoker coming from the US.

An Oasis of relief

We came to Hotel La Pager from St. Martin having been evacuated from the island after Hurricane Irma. You could say that anything would be better than what we had experienced, but this was a superb hotel and not at all expensive. The staff were even good during the second Hurricane (Maria)!!

For me, the best asset of the hotel was his lovely, friendly and very helpful staff. The room was clean, confortable and quite spacious. The breakfast was lovely but the breakfast room could be a bit cooler (it was very hot despite a few fans). The swimming pool is quite small by the garden is very pretty. Great location but some issues....

Overall experience was OK. Location was fantastic, can't beat it however check in was not good. My friend joined me last minute so we paid a supplement fee however did not get the extra towel/sheet/items needed for a 2 person room. The receptionist at the time was unable to help us because he didn't know where to find extra linens. Also our air conditioner wasn't working the 1st night but no one was available to fix it until the next day. Lastly, the magnetic strip on the keys weren't working well so despite talking to receptionist about it, it always took us 3-5 tries to open the door. I'm not a picky traveler by any means, I've lived in 3rd world countries & can definitely rough it but for the price of approx 150 euros we paid per night, I think the hotel standard could have matched the fee. The air conditioner was fixed the next day so that was good.

Nice hotel, was close to restaurants/bars/beach

Overall great experience! I don't speak much French, but the staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and pretty quiet (garden facing). Very close to many restaurants/shops, a ferry, and of course the beach! Highly recommend staying here and I traveled solo.

Very nice hotel in a great location

We just returned from a three-day stay at La Pagerie and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The pool and lobby/ restaurant musicians on Friday and Saturday evenings created a nice upscale ambience, while the Creole Village across the street provided lots of shopping and dining opportunities. We rented a car and found Trois Ilets an excellent take-off point for island exploration. Le Baguet next door was our go-to for breakfast and their wonderful bread combined with ham, cheese and fruit from the store down the street for great picnic lunches during our drives.

Wonderful hotel!

Great staff! Accommodated my needs. Great location, near many restaurants and close to the beach. Wi-Fi exists, but at times spotty. Highly recommended, will stay there again.

The staff is very friendly and all spoke English. The rooms were big and clean. The hotel is located across the street from many shops and restaurants and less than a 5 minute walk to a public beach and the ferry to Fort de France. Pointe du Bout is a great spot for tourists and this hotel is located in the middle of it. The pool is nice, but I would recommend getting their early to save yourself a seat. The swim up pool bar is nice and they serve lunch from 12-3pm.
The hotel has a restaurant that we never ate at. The breakfast buffet is 20 Euros a person and dinner is a pre-fixed meal that is also expensive. The lunch was also a little pricier than other restaurants in town so we opted not to eat there either. Compared to other hotels, La Pagerie seemed to be the most modern and all hotel restaurants were expensive.
There is also a bar inside the hotel that serves delicious and strong drinks. There is always something going on- entertainment, classes, artisans/vendors.
There is free parking for those who rent a car and a taxi to the airport costs 40-55 Euros, depending on the day and time of day.

Nice Hotel if You Speak English

Nothing really wrong with the hotel itself. Nice room, good location and restaurant was quite good. However, our experience at the hotel was poor in my opinion owing to a significant language barrier. While I recognize Martinique is a French island we were quite surprised that no one spoke English. It made things during our stay difficult. It should be made clear when folks are booking that English speaking patrons will find it difficult if not impossible to communicate
