The hotel is directly connected to Fortune Town, and you can easily access Central Plaza Grand Rama 9 right through the MRT station, making it a fantastic spot for shopping.
However, the location isn't the most ideal for traditional sightseeing. It’s quite a distance from the Grand Palace and major temples—expect about an hour's commute by taxi or subway. Also, I highly recommend bringing a filtered shower head if you have sensitive skin.

Gorgeous property. Rooms were very nice, pool was nice, breakfast buffet was incredible (including gelato!). Mall across the street had lots of great restaurants and shopping. Subway was a block away for quick access to other parts of town. Great stay.

However, one area that could be improved is the towels. On the first day of our stay, we still noticed a slight smell from them. It would be even better if they could be cleaned more thoroughly.

A special thank you to the staff of in the Executive Lounge and especially Khun Aki and Khun Ek for their professional calm guidance in evacuating the building. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions, preferring this to the overly touristy Sukhumvit area. The hotel is modern and clean, with good-sized rooms. The MRT subway is just steps away from the hotel, giving easy and quick access to the rest of the city.

I reserved A Deluxe Skyline and was under the impression of getting a room on top floor with outstanding view. Upon checking in, I was told no deluxe room was available. How could that happen when I made the reservation and paid for it online? I was told that I was given an upgraded room, better the the one I reserved. The room I got was no extraordinary but a standard room. I smelled a strong odor of smoke even though, I was assured it was a non-smoking facility. Hotel needs to make efforts to honor customers reservation and deliver the room customers reserve with no excuses. On a positive note, all staff from housekeeping, door. Reception, and restaurant were excellent! Breakfast was acceptable.

Very convenient to get to Suvarnabhumi Airport and around Bangkok in general. The airport train is connected to the MRT at Makkasan Station. One stop away the MRT station comes up very near to the front door of the hotel. The hotel is also located on top of a small shopping center with lots of food choices and connected underground (thru MRT station) to the shopping mall across the street. Jodd Fair night market is just across the street. Lots to do without even leaving the area.
The bathroom could have been cleaner in my room and the lighting was quite dark in the bathroom. The lighting in the room was a bit too bright and some of the light switches were not working properly. I believe most of the rooms are currently being renovated though.
