We have stayed at Metropol six or seven times now and we always come back as this hotel offers great value based on location, price and very friendly and pleasant staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel when traveling to Warsaw.

Nice room, some reviewers noted that the hotel was extremely loud. There was some noise from the street on the sixth floor but nothing much really with the window closed. I requested a quiet room, so maybe that explains it. Would stay here again as close to the train station.

The gentleman at the front desk was fantastic! Very courteous, pleasant and informative! I was able to upgrade my room without any issues! The room was spotless as always during my prior stays here! I have been staying at Metropol since 2024 every time I visit Poland and the consistency of high level service combined with very reasonable prices is the main reason I do not look at other hotels!

Rooms are fine and breakfast good was still very overpriced for what you get. The central location is convenient but is not worth the noise. When the hotel supplies ear plugs, you know you’re in for it.

If you land on the wrong side of the building like we did, trams from the road below rattle you awake at all hours and there’s no end to the traffic noise even on the 8th floor. And to make it soooo much worse, your window is used as part of a screen for a massive advertisement and is lit up ALL NIGHT. I kid you not. It’s insanity.

We had another stay booked for the following week and cancelled it as soon as we checked in. Run away quickly.

Very noisy location

Hotel directly faces a very busy and noisy traffic, tram and metro junction. It even supplies ear plugs in the room but we couldnt sleep. The hotel otherwise was fine but the evening meal and service was poor. I wouldnt recommend.

Well located, central hotel, all public transport options on doorstep to explore Warsaw with ease. Bus to Old Town near roundabout. Warsaw Central Station, Zlote Tarasy shopping mall, Palace of Culture Science approx. 8 minutes walk. Hotel and rooms clean with views. Fridge and tea/ coffee making in room, + cold water dispenser for guest use on each floor level. A lovely Bar & Bistro at hotel, nice food and pleasant waiters and reception desk staff. Good value hotel. Would return here again.

I stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately, my experience didn’t meet expectations. One of the major disappointments was the view – the window was completely covered by a large commercial banner, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. It made the room feel dark and enclosed, taking away from the comfort I was hoping for.

Another issue was the lack of soundproofing. The noise from outside and neighboring rooms was very noticeable, making it hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep.

On a positive note, the staff were courteous and check-in was smooth, but overall, these issues significantly impacted my stay. I hope the hotel considers improving sound insulation and providing clearer information about room views in the future

From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. When I had an issue with the toilet, the team immediately upgraded me to a beautiful suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The front desk clerks were always friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Breakfast offered plenty of delicious choices each morning, and I enjoyed dinner in the restaurant one evening as well. The female server was attentive, and the carbonara was absolutely delicious.

The hotel’s location is ideal—just a short walk to the train station and the old town. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Nice and clean hotel

Double bed still comfy and large solid pillows. Room on a small side but we didn’t come here to spend time in the room but to explore the area.
Breakfast was amazing with lots of options. Great coffee. Location really, really convenient to most attractions that we came to see. Public transport almost at doorstep but we walked pretty much everywhere. Very close to many restaurants where you can find all kinds of world cuisine.

I am not sure whether this is where an envelope disappeared from my bag, I noticed too late and when out of Poland altogether. Might have something to do with a particularly unfriendly gentleman at the front desk who stored my bags for 1/2 a day when I arrived? Or with room service? I guess I'll never find out, but caution with your valuables throughout your stay is advised.

Had an amazing stay at Metropol. It was right by the Palace of science and culture bldg and old town is just about 15 min walk. very convenient and lots of restaurant , shopping around. hotel staff were excellent, they hold our bags since we arrive early morning and checking was at 2 pm. They had amazing drinking water machine (hot, cold and sparkling) by the elevator and hot water pot, big glass jug were helpful. Very clean hotel, comfy bed and decent size room based on what we paid. Overall great and we would stay next time.. thank you!

The hotel's proximity to the central rail station is a huge plus, making arrivals and departures incredibly smooth, especially for those traveling by train. This central location also provides easy access to public transport and many of Warsaw's key attractions, putting the city right at your doorstep. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, meeting basic expectations for comfort and hygiene.

However, the tranquility I hoped for was elusive. Despite being on the 7th floor, my room was subjected to relentless and uneven noise from the city trams. This wasn't a gentle hum, but rather an intrusive, annoying vibration that persisted well past midnight. I would estimate the sound level frequently reached 80-90 dB, even late into the night, making it incredibly difficult to relax or sleep soundly.

lets start with the good things: the location is great the breakfast is very nice. the rest is way below the standard of even a three star hotel. the small room could be over looked but it is so minimal equipped. no extra pillow or blanket, no writing pad or pencil, no welcome small bottle of water. pure corner of coffee. it feels that the hotel is trying to get the maximum giving the guest the minimum. basically NO value for money. and at the check out they are sending you to Expedia to get your stay invoice.

Nicely located near the \"srodmiescie\", easy walk to train station and shopping centre, decent buffet breakfast, good size room.
This hotel is located in an extremely noisy part of Warszawa, with noise from cars, trams and police sirens penetrating the hotel rooms throughout the night. If you like to get a good night sleep go somewhere else.

This property is in an excellent location. The central station is one tram stop away, an there is a train from the airport stopping 1/2 a tram stop away.

Great steakhouse located nearby, as well as a British Pub, and the mall behind centraal station with a Popeyes chicken.

The rooms are small-medum sized.

The breakfast was good, but overpriced.

I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in an excellent location within a 5-minute walk of several bus and tram lines. Less than 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel has a closet right by the reception desk where you can store luggage before or after check in or check out. There is a restaurant on site but we did not try it. The hotel room had very bright lighting, which was a nice change from most hotels. Would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean and quiet and the location is great. I have taken about 20 international trips in recent years and it's always a struggle to find the hotel once I arrive keeping in mind that it's not easy to ask people on the street for help since many do not speak English. But I have to say that the Hotel Metropol was the easiest hotel ever to find! The hotel isn't lying when they say on their site that it's \"directly across from the Centrum Metro station\". I found it in seconds and was glad to see how easy it was. The breakfast was good as well.

There is an area I'd like to see an improvement in: the pillows were not comfortable at all. There was so support in the slightest...it was like putting your head on a cotton ball so your head is basically lying on the bed...really the pillow served zero purpose. Some hotel chain should make a marketing gimmick where they say, \"Our beds have a wide variety of pillow types so you get to choose which one you prefer!\" It's a million dollar idea, isn't it? But unfortunately both of the Metropol pillows where the cotton ball types so I had no choice but to use this awful option which meant my head had no support and thus I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked.

But again, I did enjoy my stay here and would stay here again when next in Warsaw.

Very disappointed when we arrived in our room to find that the 'view'...was completely obscured by a giant advertising banner hung on the side of the hotel. While I understand that they face a major intersection and are probably making a fortune from this, they should really make it clear if your room is affected by this before making a reservation, and in my opinion, have the rooms that are affected at a discounted rate. Additionally, the shower was completely incapable of keeping a constant temperature, oscillating between freezing cold and scalding hot. On a brighter note, the staff was friendly and attentive and it's a fairly easy walk from the central train station; nonetheless, you could probably do better for the money in this area of Warsaw.
