Just an all around excellent hotel. Beautiful inside and out, amazing breakfast, delightful staff. Would recommend to anyone staying around Lake Bled.

Gorgeous suite, great views, fabulous dinner both nights and delicious breakfast.
Staff made us feel very welcome.
We experienced both sunshine and snow and were glad to make use of the sauna in our room! Would highly recommend.

Very comfortable beds, breakfast fantastic. Very clean, has everything you need, staff very friendly. Dinner options very limited and pricey so went out , church bells very noisy and every 15 mins. Views beautiful and nice walks around

The air conditioner wouldn’t go below 22, we woke up pouring sweat. Everything was an add-on. Renting a bike for an hour was slightly cheaper than 4 hours; not free for guests. Breakfast for charge, mini bar is full but they’ll email you after your departure to settle that cost as well. Meh.

The hotel is extremely clean and has been built to a very high standard throughout the rooms and public areas including the outdoor seating area, Reception and the restaurant.

There is free private car park for up to approx 10 cars, including an EV charging bay.

Very friendly staff, who speak perfect English, who were all very helpful.

The location is in a small residential village with nothing around such as restaurants/bars etc, so unless you eat at the hotel, the nearest place is Bled to get something to eat or have drinks, which is either approx 30 minute walk along the country lanes or 10 minute drive, but be wary if visiting Bled in a car that you cannot park without it costing at least €6 for as little as 1 hour.
Kransjka Gora, one of the Ski Resorts, is approx a 40 minute drive, Bonhinj likewise, so if Ski’ing, you are best hiring a car, as the buses are not overly frequent given it’s such a remote location.
There is a small supermarket just up the road from the hotel which is handy.

The only downside to the location I found was that it is near to a couple of local churches, which have the traditional church bells that go off every hour and every 15 minutes in between.

The bells are extremely loud and quite annoying when you are trying to get some sleep. The hotel have recognised this though and provided a little plaque explaining its part of the Slovenian culture but recognise guests need a good nights sleep and provide ear plugs in the room.

We stayed at Hotel Julian Alps from Wednesday 28 Jan to Friday 30 Jan and had a fantastic experience.

The hotel is very clean, calm, and relaxed, with genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. The food was excellent — the cooked breakfast has a huge selection, and the absolute highlight is the House Speciality eggs, which are outstanding.

Our room was a good size, comfortable, and well maintained.

The surrounding Alpine scenery is beautiful, and the location is perfect: only a 3-minute drive to Lake Bled, but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxed stay with great food and easy access to Bled.

This has so far been our favorite European stay! The rooms were so unique (we ended up staying in 2 different ones because we extended our stay). The staff were incredible and the breakfast was delicious. I would make a trip back to Slovenia just for this hotel

Only 3 months old, everything was new, modern and clean. But the service and meals were exceptional. Full breakfast with creative list of eggs Benedict style options including a local one. The 3 course dinners also included local fare and were excellent. Also full bar with local made schnapps and extensive list of fantastic Slovenian wines. The service was also very efficient, relaxed and friendly so that we could engage the staff in conversation. The setting is a beautiful green farm village next to the local church and a bell tower that pealed throughout the day )but not all night). Hotel is in Sgornje Gorje, a short hike downhill to Lake Bled but far from the crowds around the lake. We were able to hike down to and around Lake Bled and up to the castle and back up to hotel. The area is green, hilly, surrounded by the alps and the sounds of active farms. Very picturesque.

Exceptional experience! The staff is very attentive to every detail and want to make your stay a 5 Star. The chef prepared meals with outstanding blend of tastes, presented eloquently and provided a personal explanation of the courses. Best flavorful meal with rolling hills and old town historic setting. Five Star!!! We also rode e bikes for 60k and found the rides perfect for this activity and safe. Perfect location to hop on and ride along the river to other towns. Perfect location to access Lake Bled with minutes to the city center. Exceptional property. Enormous amount of heart went into developing this property and it shows with an exception 5 star from room, staff, food, amenities. Definitely would stay again!

The a la carte breakfast and the view from my room was the highlight of my trip. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with modern amenities it is your perfect hotel. We were there on a comfortable summer day, so managed to survive without the AC. The AC in our room worked more like a fan rather than a cooler, so just something to be mindful of, it could get uncomfortable in the room if it gets too hot.

Stayed three nights in June in one of the suites with a balcony. Beautiful property in the high farmlands in the Julian Alps. Recently converted (in May? of 2025) a farm and farmhouse into an awesome hotel with 13 rooms in two different buildings. The hotel owners definitely didn’t cut corners - buildings, grounds, kitchen, decorations, furniture, etc. Room amenities were exquisite.
Staff was super friendly and patient.
Great breakfast each morning - combination of buffet and eggs/etc a la carte.
We had dinner one night. The dinners during our stay were a limited prix fixe menu of three choices - fish (trout), venison (deer) and beef medallions. I had the beef and it was delicious. My wife asked if she could order off menu for a vegetarian dish, which they happily accommodated. It was also delicious. Good wine selection.
Our suite room included a sauna in the bathroom, which was a wonderful treat.

Overall great stay - and I’m a hard grader.

We’ll definitely be back.

Best accommodation around Bled

Wonderful hotel near Lake Bled, opened in June 2025. Serves amazing breakfast with plenty of choices of the dish. The restaurant serves Michelin level dishes at a reasonable price and ask the knowledgable staff about the wine, they serve great Slovenian wines both by the glass and by the bottle. Staff were friendly and always very helpful.

This is a recently opened boutique hotel nestled in the farms of the Julian alps. It is scenic and upscale with every attention to detail in the furnishings and meals. We rented e-bikes for a 72 km trek between lake bled and lake bohinj and have a 5 course dinner to follow from the set menu with three entree choices-we chose veal trout and steak. Hospitality was so awesome they even helped up pay our parking ticket! Nina and Blas at the front desk and serving breakfast took care of just about everything. The family room was awesome for us four. It’s a little hike to Bled ((30 minutes by foot) which was the only downside but we were in a bucolic farmland only to awaken to church bells and birdsong. This was a very special experience I would highly recommend to anyone need of a getaway.

O hotel é muito novo, super arrumado e limpo. O quarto era bastante espaçoso. A equipe de funcionários foi muito prestativa, nos ajudou com informações a respeito de trilhas, horários de ônibus e tudo. A localização é muito boa, em um lugar super tranquilo e bem próximo do Lago Bled. O café da manhã é fantástico, com muitas opções de comida para você se servir, oferecem café feito na hora e ainda tem um cardápio para você escolher pratos. Maravilhoso o hotel e quero voltar mais vezes.

La camera è sicuramente bella pulita e accogliente. Non ci aspettavamo il water e la doccia e lavandino accanto a letto tutto insieme nello stesso ambiente. Noi forse noi ci siamo abituati. Sicuramente era una camera più economica credo che ci sono camere dove il bagno è in una stanza e non in un open space lo preferisco. Per chi prenota controllate sé questa opzione c’è nella vostra stanza e se vi piace prenotate pure.
Letto comodo e super pulito i cuscini purtroppo scomodi troppo morbidì. Avrei gradito la possibilità di scegliere la rigidità o no.
Temperatura in camera anche qui per noi troppo alta avrei preferito poterlo controllare e cambiare. Almeno noi non abbiano visto il termostato in camera. Abbiano aperto le finestre perché a tratti faceva davvero caldo.

Buona scelta di dolce e salato buonissime le omelette preparate al momento. Forse qualche accorgimento in più sulla preparazione e posizionamento dei prodotti.

Hotel de reciente apertura ubicado junto al lago Bled, a pie es un paseo de menos de 30’. Habitación amplia, moderna, cómoda. El desayuno: buenísimo. Es desayuno a la carta y está todo buenísimo. El personal muy agradable y atento.
Lo único a tener en cuenta es que el Spa aún no está operativo.

Man kann ein paar Dinge direkt von dort aus unternehmen.

Frühstück ist frisch gemacht,herzhaften Sprossen werden a la carte geordert und sind nicht 0-8-15 wie man es sonst von Gastgebern kennt.

Abends auf Wunsch 3 Gänge Menü, auch lecker, nur leider bei uns keine Möglichkeit für Kinder etwas gesondertes zu bestellen. Ist evtl. Nicht jeden Abend so.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht im Julien Alps verbracht und haben uns bei unserer Ankunft darüber wahnsinnig geärgert. Das Ambiente war wunderschön. Der Alte Bauernhof ist gerade frisch Umgebaut und renoviert. Die Location vereint modernen Komfort und den Charme eines traditionellen Bauernhaus.

Wir hatten das Glück eine der ersten Gäste zu sein und wurden zum selben Preis in eines der luxuriöseren Zimmer verlegt. Eine Falsche regionales Wasser ist inklusive und das Frühstück des stilvollen Restaurants des Hotels war sehr lecker.
Der Service war sehr gut. Uns wurde das Hotel gezeigt und vorgestellt. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Man kann sich sogar direkt vom Hotel E-Bikes mieten und damit ins nahegelegene Bled oder durch die Berge fahren.

Wirklich wunderschön und eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

Fantastisk overnattingssted i nærheten av Bled

Utrolig flott opphold på dette helt nye hotellet. De ansatte er veldig serviceinnstilte og vennlige. Nydelig og stort rom med flott bad.
Velutstyrt rom med bl.a vannkoker. Frokosten var fantastisk der du fikk velge fra en variert meny. (Omelett, pannekake mm)
Vi hadde en uforglemmelig 3 retters middag i restauranten om kvelden :)
Total stillhet hele natta.
