Near the water, it's a short walk down to the docks and to nearby shopping at the marina.

The breakfast in the morning was quite nice, and while were eating outside a friendly cat appeared. I admit we fed it and it purred. Five stars, would pet again.

The hotel was pretty good. Only thing I did not like for the hotel is that the corridor the light seems to turn off. It is motion detector, but the timing of the motion detector is very very short, including the public restrooms you barely go in and the light turns off. Creates a sense of darkness And honestly being very, very cheap about it. If you’re reading this and you still like motion detector lights in a five star hotel, which I have never ever ever seen in any of my travels. I recommend you increase the timing instead of what feels like 30 seconds to at least five minutes.

This is the rare hotel that really is in perfect position to offer easy access to the beach (out the back gate and you are there), the major tourist areas. (15 minute walk), top restaurant (Lola’s) but still no crowd noises. Couple all of this with some first class service and you have a platform for. Memorable experience

The hotel was a little bit of luxury, where the staff delivered on customer service every time. The room was superb with a huge comfy bed and a large bathroom. Breakfast had every option you could think of and all the food was fresh and laid out perfectly. We only ate one evening at the hotel and the food was excellent, it was a bit of a chaotic evening as there was a local thunderstorm which meant a lot of hotel guests were eating at the hotel which put pressure on staff, but they coped admirably despite the demand and the conditions. Only disappointment was the local public beach which was just across the road from the hotel, it was tired and expensive to hire sunbeds & umbrellas. The old town and harbour area are just 15 minute walk away, so an excellent location to see the main sites.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It’s perfectly located—just a short stroll from both the port and the charming old town, making it an ideal base for exploring without needing transport.

The bedrooms were a real highlight: modern, beautifully refreshed, and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. From the plush bedding to the sleek bathroom fittings, everything felt clean, fresh, and well-maintained.

The pool area, while lovely, was a little on the compact side. On a couple of occasions, we did need to wait for sun loungers to become available, but once settled, it was a relaxing spot to soak up the sun or enjoy a dip.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their attentiveness and friendly approach made a real difference and contributed to the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Overall, this hotel delivers on location, comfort, and service. A great choice for couples or small groups looking for a stylish and convenient place to stay. We had a lovely time and would absolutely return.

The staff at the Hotel Park is excellent, but the hotel itself is tired and in need of some updating. The carpet in the rooms and halls is worn and the bedding is generic and not comfy. We stayed three nights and cleaning services only came one of them. After a long day of sight seeing, this was disappointing.

The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, the food is great, but the vibe is a little lacking, even though we were there on a weekend we were only one of two tables having dinner. Overall, it's a nice enough place but it is definetely overpriced for what you get. I would suggest looking for a smaller boutique hotel (there's lovely one next door), before spending the money at this hotel. Again, front desk staff, the bar staff, all excellent, but the experience overall is not enough to justify the hefty summer price tag.

We stayed at Hotel Park for 2 nights and I would not recommend anyone looking for a 5 star experience to come here. The property is dated and extremely tired. While the staff in duty were all lovely the condition of the hotel, room, and amenities is not considered as luxury. Location is great but there’s really not much else to this other hotel than that.

Overall the hotel was good, although personally I would not stay here again.
My personal points.
Pros
1) staff very friendly and helpful.
2) maids were excellent, room was also spotless.
3) general hotel was clean and well presented.
4) close to a small beach, although the beach was often crowded and the sea was quite shallow, if you like swimming it was possible to wade out 150m to the deaper water.
5) walkable distance to the old town, approx 15-20 min walk depending on your pace.
6) shops and restaurants in walkable distance from the hotel.
7) good central location.
8) good breakfast, although I would like to see more options instead of the same food choices every single day
9) spa, health and wellbeing was excellent

Cons
1) very small gym, if more than 3 people wanted to use the weights it would be a struggle.
2) the hotel charge for parking, which for a 5 star hotel I couldn’t believe, it cost me 20 euros day (140 over the week)
What I also did not like was the limited parking spaces and I often had to park outside the hotel grounds in the overflow spaces, there was an event while we there and I was also told I had to leave my car keys as my car might have to be moved to the garage to allow a space for other cars.
3) on Friday there was a wedding at the hotel and the main lobby was full and noisy. The noise went on until 4am in the morning we little regard for the guests staying at the hotel.
4) limited coffee supplies, 1x teabag and coffee per day.

Very comfortable hotel. Rooms were very quiet, nearly sound proof. Great breakfast options. Main benefit was very close proximity to the beach, though the beach isn’t very clean. Local area was fine - about 10-15mins walk to more built up area with market and shops.
Staff were professional and helpful. Having outdoor pool and jacuzzi on site was very convenient, especially when the beach was busy.
We didn’t eat in the restaurant as it was quite pricey and didn’t see great vegetarian options. Make sure to ask for your Expedia rewards discount card from reception, if applicable.

We had a really comfortable stay at Hotel Par, travelling as a family with teenage boys. We enjoyed the pool and location, a short walk from the old town. Breakfast was plentiful and the live pianist a treat.
Staff all very pleasant.
Bed was comfortable and quality glazing made it quiet, even when there was a wedding party in the hotel,
Bar felt expensive for cocktails that were hit and miss, and I wish the wardrobe had longer hanging space for dresses, but overall I would recommend.

We are a family of 5 travelling through Croatia and we had a 1 night stay over I split. We chose this hotel for the pool and sea view. We thought the hotel facilities were perfect. The food was amazing. The front of staff are amazing, very friendly and really helpful. The pool boy was great. The only let down if there is one was the bar staff at the pool side restaurant and bar were very lazy. Overall it was a fantastic hotel.

Everything was great except for the last night. The electrical system malfunctioned and the lights in the bedroom woul turn on and off every 15 minutes. The night clerk tried to help to no avail. He finally suggested I remove the room key from the socket so that all the power would be out. That solved the problem with the lights. However, I use a CPAP machine for my apnea. Hence, I spent the night from hell. Before I left I told the hotel staff about it and they told they had already called an electrician. That was nice (for the next client, not for me).

What we didn't like (at 80 of age) was the room allocation, 4th. floor with split level sleeping quarters in the attic apparently reserved by the Agency (block booking) according to the management comments, no alternative rooms available as the hotel was fully booked; as such I expect recompense.

Nice location, close to beach and downtown Split. I booked a single room and somehow ended up in this closet of a room. Expect that in London or Tokyo but not in Split. There were three hairs in the bathtub. I am not freaked out about that like most people but you start to wonder what else was not cleaned. Breakfast was nice but mediocre for a 5 star hotel. Pool is small but nice. They have one guy walking around the pool the whole day to keep it clean which is nice but also start to work on your nerves.

Had a wonderful break at Hotel Park. Room very comfortable. Hotel is beautifully kept. Staff friendly. The reception team and manager Mark, excellent. The hotel recommended restaurants every night. All were delicious.
The pool was closed, this was frustrating as this was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. There had been a storm prior to our arrival and this was why it was empty. We understand these things can’t be helped but our son was disappointed.
Mark responded well to our complaint, he is very professional and a great asset to the hotel alongside Molvic on reception whose personal touch and interest was a welcome interaction.

This hotel is a real gem! Set next to a park and across the street from the beach. Easily walkable to Old Town and the palace where there are so many great dining and shopping options. Right next to the ferry port as well where you can set out to explore the beautiful islands off the coast of Split.

But the best part of our stay was the service! Top notch in every department and the breakfast was the best we have experienced in Europe!

Nice room on the 4th floor with big bathroom and sitting area with desk, then upstairs to the bed and another toilet. Only 20 minutes walk into the old town. Pool area is nice but not very big. Not many parking spaces but we were lucky to get one but 20 Euros a night.

Very noisy at night till 3/4 am in the morning, 2 out of 3 nights of our stay we were woken by noisy parties in the outdoor area. Staff were not as helpful with booking an island tour, we ended up going to the pier and booking it our selves. Parking is very expensive at $30 euro per day, we travelled through Europe for over a month and this was the first hotel that charged for parking.

we booked the superior double room with sea view, but the sea view is mostly blocked by the street scene and couldn't enjoy the sea view very much. The bathroom area was very big with bath tub which was very nice. The buffet was good as well. There were not many things nearby around the hotel besides one public beach.

for the amount of money i was charged for a one-night stay, I would have expected a 5-star hotel. The carpets throughout the entire property were stained and filthy same in the room. The dining area was inadequate same with the breakfast (the worse setup i experienced in my entire trip) if i was staying more than one night I would have checked out and found another hotel. I want a partial refund because this is not a $ 450-a-night hotel and no way is it 5 star. 2.5 3 at best. SUBPAR

The Perfect Balance of Luxury and Class

The Parknis everything you expect from a luxury hotel. The service is impeccable. The facilities are perfect lower levels to upper. Every inch is spotless.
