The location was good. Just a short walk uphill. Wasn’t the best location for my father who can’t walk very far. The pictures on Expedia showed a pool with a water slide, so we booked this hotel as my child was hoping for a pool, but the pool is at the hotel next door. The hotel next door has a restaurant and lobby bar which would have been a better choice.
The beds were foam and we did not find them comfortable.

ACs in the room were not working well. They gave 2 fans to make the room cooler but the fans are very noisy specially at night. We left the room for at least 5 hours and put the \"clean the room\" sign at the door. When we came back, room was still not cleaned. Swimming pool is good but only for 3 hours access and its in the other hotel. Location is good 10-15 mins walk to the lake but if you have luggages, difficult to just go by walking from bus station because location is up the hill. Breakfast is ok.

Nice hotel in a complex of hotels. Good location. We actually had a view of the castle ad church, which was lovely. Check in staff were a little cold, nothing bad just we started feeling like we should feel sorry for th as thet didnt want to be there. Room was very clean, goid facilities. Comfy. Balcony. The swimming pools in a nearby hotel. We used it everyday, brilliant place. Very relaxing and lovely staff.

The staff was very accommodating. I was just upset that the hotel listed a laundry facility, so we saved our laundry from traveling for two weeks and we were told that there was only dry cleaning. Luckily, we found a laundry facility about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

When we arrived to the front desk it took 10 minutes for the receptionist to appear, but that did not honestly bother us as much as she saying that all guests have arrived today and she does not have my reservation which made me feel uncofortable and I had to show my reservation. It went on and on until at one moment she finally gave us the keys. Morning reception was occasionaly friendy. I general i did not feel welcome at this “hotel”..?

Staff was quite friendly and helpful, and rent bicycles out to guests.

Breakfast was nice and varied, but the room is too crowded. It is a small space for the number of guests being served.

I don't understand hotels that do not allow their guests to use their computer and an HDMI cable with the inroom TV/Monitor (its menu functions are locked)

Savica Garni is a really nice hotel for the price. The more extravagant ones start to get very expensive. I enjoyed my stay.

I would say the hotel was a 3 star at a push not a 4 star as advertised. The staff were friendly & check in was simple but the room & bathroom was not clean & had a very unpleasant smell throughout our stay. There were also bits of rubbish left from the previous guests such as a scrunched up tissue, peach stone & a packet of opened cigarette filters on the outside table. There was also an unexpected ‘tourist tax’ added when we checked out that we were not aware of

first of all, they charged extra money for local taxes, even that in hotels.com they said the price includes of all taxes!!!!
roof had a almost not working air condition, it was 32 degrees!!! hot hot hot!!!! couldn't sleep!!!.
i said the AC is not working, they said they would repair... but did nothing.
the ceiling of the room was low, i couldn't stand in half of the room!!!!
my kid bumped his head!!!
room is so small, in NY they have bigger rooms!

This property is about 15 minutes away from the town and wasnt easy for us to drive thru the small roads to get to the guesthouse. However we were pleasantly surprised when we got there and we were glad we booked at this hotel. This property is located at the top of the hill and we had a great scenary from the property. The property was Clean, good service, personal breakfast.... We were happy all over. We really enjoyed staying at this property

Hotel Savica Garni is perfectly clean and the staff are lovely. The Room was of a good size and the ensuite bathroom was quite large. We had a balcony which was lovely, even in winter! The only slight issue was that the room was a bit too warm at times. Free Wifi was also a bit slow, but fair enough for the mountains. We also had access to the swimming pool in the wellness centre across the driveway, however we did not know this in advance and therefore did not bring swimming costumes, but it looked lovely. The hotel is a 5minute walk (downhill) from the lake front, and a 10 minute walk from the restaurants in the town.

This hotel looks good from the exterior and lobby area. Our room was small, hot, and dirty. The shower would get scalding hot and then change to cold. The breakfast had a nice variety of food but the coffee was not good. You can easily walk to the lake from the hotel and there are several good restaurants close by. Parking was free. We would not stay there again.

Got an apartment with one double bed and 2 sofas that was not even made up. No balcony either. Only window was a roof window so the only thing that could be seen was the sky.
Was promised a compensation but as expected nothing has been repaid after 2 weeks.

I'm sure that my family stayed in this hotel when it was self catering 12 years ago! It is a very pleasant hotel very close to the facilities of Golf Bled hotel. When I stayed, there were mostly families but the children were very well behaved! The staff are extremely helpful .

We arrived in low season for this town and therefore some of the expected services that were advertised through the site were not available. We booked this hotel based on the kids activites however nothing was available at this time which was disappointing and this was not indicated. On a more positive note hotel is clean, staff polite and helpful. Rooms were a little dated and require new pillows but clean and were able to have ajoinjng rooms for the kids which was great with young kids. Would recommend hotel during peak season if you have a family,

Savica was a nice stay. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Good location. Easy walking to the restaurants and shopping as well as lake. No more than 10 minutes. Had a good view of the Bled castle from our balcony room. Rooms were a bit tight but not bad. The spa area at the nearby Hotel Golf location was one of the highlights for my niece. You can use the facility free of charge for a total of 3 hours each day (I believe). Waterslide etc. Breakfast was very good with attentive service. Very family orientated hotel. I recommend the stay.

We had great vacation and that what is the most important. Slovenia and Bled by itself are wonderful. The people are extremely friendly, the nature is gorgeous, it is a very relaxing place.Lots of possibility if you wish to do some adventure, sport, but you could also have fantastic vacation just being in Bled around the lake as it is so peaceful and regenerating.
Hotel provide great facilities from the golf hotel with large pools, and the spa.

WE could not open a window or the balcony door because our next door neighbor was smoking continuously on the adjacent balcony. When we said we would leave the hotel we were moved to a great upgraded suite. Also, the water temperature in the first room changed during the shower.

we stayed for nearly 1 week with 2 small kids and they had a wonderful time. we had a family room which had the convenience of a kitchenette and a separate room (from the main bedroom) with a dining table and sofabed. it also had a small outside terrace. We would recommend to families with small children. The staff are very nice.

If you are thinking about visiting Lake led go ahead and stop thinking nda start doing. Absolutely gorgeous. My favorite destination and I have been all through central Europe. Words can not describe it. Hotel was great. Next door they have a sister hotel with a pool you can use. The pool was fabulous. My kids loved it. I can not brag about this destination enough. It is a good hotel for families with children. For a family with 2 kids and an infant we got a suite that has two rooms, there was enough place for all.The rooms are very functional and convenient. The breakfast is good. The swimming pool of the neighboring hotel that is used by hotel guests is great. We have traveled with another couple , the room they got for the first night was not as good as our as it was on the 5 floor , but it was replaced the next morning. Overall a good hotel and we would recommend it to our friends.

Great hotel for families but only ok breakfast

This is a good family hotel in a beautiful location. They also have family suites which are great for large families. The only negative is the breakfast. It isn't up to the same standards that you will find in Germany or Austria, which are nearby. The best part of the hotel is access to the pool, which is located in Hotel Golf across the street. The pool overlooks Lake Bled and has views of the castle.

Hotel is a bit removed from the main hotels along the lake. Only the top floor will have a lake view. The family room we booked, which said it had a kitchenette did not have one. The hotel quickly fixed this by moving us into an apartment, which had a kitchen (though no microwave), but they did say their family rooms do not have kitchenettes, so there appears to be an error in the description on the hotel.com website. Staff were all friendly. It is a hotel you would only stay in, if you have a children.

Great central location.Good family rooms and enough space for family of 4.The children liked the kids club , albeit a little early in season and lovely woman who ran it.The access to the Wellness Centre and its pool was a big plus and the views over Lake Bled are great from the various pools.

Definately would consider going back

We stayed at the Savica for a week and if we went back to Bled again would definately consider going back. It is a superior 3 star and all the rooms were very clean and modern. We also had access to the pool in Hotel Golf which was amazing. It is very kid friendly with lots of cool activities to make the experience fun for the kids but staff are also very accomodating.

Ein Hotel an ruhiger Lage, sehr geschätzt haben wir die Möglichkeit, im Schwesterhotel auf der anderen Strassenseite das wunderschöne Hallenbad (mit grosser Rutsche und Whirlpools etc) benutzen zu dürfen.

Generell zu viele Autos auf der Anlage, welche kreuz und quer parkiert sind.
Der Speisesaal für das Frühstück ist bei grosser Anzahl Gäste im Hotel etwas klein.

Value for money is a joke

When you open the door to the room you get the feeling you just stepped 40 years back in time. Everything is old, aircon is only working in some rooms, the minibar has a nice description of how it works but there is no minibar in the room.
On the plus side the kids loved the waterpark that is included. If you are thinking this doesn't match the rest of the discription, you are right... The waterpark is in the hotel across the street. You are allowed in for three hours, which is plenty enough to be fair.

SO what should this cost? 80... Maybe up to 120 Euro for a night would be reasonable. But no. They charge you €400 for one night! Oh yeah, and just to rub it in, they charge €10 per day for parking in an over filled parking lot.

Overall the hotel would be good, but it is much more expensive than what is worth. For what we paid I would have expected a bigger room, with a real queen (or king) size bed (not two singles united), a hook where to hang the towels in the bathroom (tat was missing) and a working soap dispenser in the shower (the first day I disassambled the dispenser as it was not working, so to use it as a normal bottle, leaving it on the rack in the shower, the second day I found it exactly like that, as the cleaning person simply didn't care).
