We love this hotel. The rooms are spotless, the staff are wonderful. The breakfasts are outstanding. This hotel is within an easy walking distance to all major attractions as well as the u-bahn. We keep rebooking this hotel.

- Really well kept hotel - nice overall
- Good restaurant onsite
- Nice breakfast with a ton of variety and made to order egg dishes - although not worth 30 euro pp (if not included in the stay)
- Great location
- Nice amenities in room

Cons:
- Check-in process was less than desirable - there was only one staff member actually working check-in (although we saw multiple around the desk) and a line waiting for help

Great breakfast. Room comfortable. But no business centre despite Expedia listing that it had one. Room was cleaned very late one day (probably due turning over rooms for guests leaving / new guests coming) — so I’d advise putting out the make up room sign when you go out; they’ll clean it faster.

We were informed of our upgrade at check-in. Provided on of the best spaces we’ve experienced traveling. Location was fantastic. Enjoyed a quiet nightcap in the lounge. Staff was very friendly & helpful. WiFi was good but required joining a loyalty club.

Very clean, beautiful hotel. Our only complaint was the bar/restaurant was very short staffed. The bartender and server had to answer the room service phone line also, which often rang and rang because they were so busy and the whole bar/restaurant had to listen to a loud phone ringing. The staff also needs to tell inconsiderate guests that are having a face time conversation with someone on their phone to please take it outside!

We were in Vienna to tour, and this hotel was perfect. Great showers, great beds and perfect location. Breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day.

The only \"negative\" that I can think of is that they had a concierge available when we checked in Friday (IE someone who knew what was going on culturally in the city); but that person was only there on Friday. I didn't realize that, and thus missed my opportunity to avail myself of her services.

I would definately stay there again.

We had a good stay in the hotel. Location is very good, just next to train station. The front desk staffs have been very helpful during our stay, especially Amanda who is very friendly and helped us to make reservations at cafe and restaurants, saved us from the long line.

The only downside is the design of the hotel bathroom, there's very limited space to put our toiletries.

The hotel is very close to city center, but you would not know it, it was very quiet, even though we had windows that open to the street below. The rooms are good sized, with e writhing you need for your stay.

Excellent hotel in great location

I've stayed here before, and it was as good as ever. Wonderfully designed shower, comfortable bed, good internet, and the air-conditioning was excellent (and without noise or cycling on and off). The location is perfect, and there are numerous restaurants of all types in walking distance.

Perfect for a long weekend in Vienna

This is a traditional, elegant, discreet hotel. It has a superb location. Lighting is excellent. Many outlets for charging phones, etc. and very? Very quiet. Note: for those traveling lightly, this hotel is around the corner from the U3 Herrengasse stop making it incredibly easy to take the CAT airport train to the city and then transferring to the U3. There is no faster, easier way (and much, much cheaper than a taxi).

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. Staff were very professional, with no problem speaking English. Steigenberger hotel is so close to Michaelerplatz which was brilliant for getting to see places on foot. A special thanks to one of the receptionists named Y. Pena Mata. She was so hard working and always greeted myself and my husband with a lovely smile, a credit to the hotel. We will definitely return.

Wonderful stay - Highly recommended!

We stayed for 7 nights as a family (two parents and a 12.5-year-old daughter ) and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The hotel’s location is perfect – right next to a metro station and just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and main attractions, yet very quiet and peaceful.

Breakfast was rich, varied, and luxurious, served in an elegant yet cozy setting. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding – everyone was courteous and efficient.

Although we initially had an issue with the air conditioning in our room, the hotel’s Customer Service Manager, Izabela, handled the situation impressively. She ensured we had a temporary room immediately and later moved us to a spacious corner room similar to our original booking. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, with thoughtful gestures and excellent service.

Overall, we left extremely satisfied and would warmly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna!

Excellent location and nice facility. King size bed room was reserved but not given at check in, so had to change rooms. Room was consistently very hot which resulted in lack of sleep. Asked front desk but no one was sent to help. Shower head position seemed uncomfortable. Also no help was sent for that.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in Vienna and the experience was simply perfect. The hotel was impeccably clean, every corner shining. A great stay from start to finish. Absolutely wonderful location, less than 5 mins walk to the main shopping streets, next door to Cafe Central and less than 10 mins to most of the Christmas markets (which is what we went for). All that yet in a nice quiet street, the only noise was the clip clop of the horses pulling the numerous carriages. The room was modern, comfy and spacious with all the amenities you could want. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

The deluxe rooms were superb and very spacious. We liked the little extras such as the coffee machine and the first free drinks in the mini fridge. The tv also plays through speakers in the bathroom. Bath robes and slippers were provided. Hotel in a great location to visit the attractions. The metro is so close as well. The breakfast was also very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the initial lack of hot water in the shower.
