Very noisy everyday until 10pm due to hotel event.
Car can't enter the hotel area so i needed to walk with luggages from the entrance to gate, Blocked the way to fitness center so I had to go out to street to come back to my room from Fitness center

I have stayed at Daewoo Hanoi at least 8–9 times over the past 4 years, but sadly, each visit seems to set a new low in service standards — even at the Club Room level where one would expect the highest quality. This most recent stay was by far the most disappointing, with at least five separate service failures.
A glaring example: when I tried to extend my stay, the Club Lounge attendant first assured me it would be updated in the system. After making me wait an hour, I was told instead to book online and provide the itinerary number so they could “feed it into the system.” On top of that, I was informed I would have to check out by 8 am because “important guests” were arriving — which I later discovered was not even true. Essentially, I was forced into an early checkout despite Club benefits usually including late checkouts.
What makes matters worse is the constant passing of responsibility between teams. The Club Lounge sends you to the lobby, the lobby refers you to the backend, and the guest is left to chase different people just to resolve basic issues. This is not the standard expected of a hotel that positions itself as premium.
Frankly, the service levels at the Melia Club Lounge are far superior — attentive, consistent, and professional. If it weren’t for the road closures this time, I would have stayed at Melia instead. Unless Daewoo seriously addresses this steady decline in service, I don’t see myself — or other loyal repeat guests — continuing to return.

This was a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. It is about 3.5km from the Old Quarter but only 15-20mins in a taxi, which were always available and cost less than US$5. Great facilities, lovely clean pool and away from the noise. The nightclub nearby was also a hidden gem for the younger crowd (or those young at heart).

Absolutely loved my stay at the property. Its very well located right next to two shopping centers. Centrally located for easy taxi ride to anywhere in Hanoi and what a great deal for a 5star property. The staff was absolutely phenomenal with above and beyond customer service. Concierge was very helpful with shopping and sight seeing recommendations and their breakfast selection at the restaurant was one of the best i have ever had. I would highly recommend this property and definitely come back again.

전망도 훌륭하고 직원들의 서비스와 오래되었지만 객실 상태도 좋았습니다. 스마트티비가 있어서 유튜브 등 이용이 편했고 수영장이 한산해서 아이들과 오면 좋을꺼 같아요. 다만 조식은 현지식과 중국음식 위주라 한국인들 중 향신료 안 좋아하는 분들은 호불호가 있을수 있습니다.

家族3人で宿泊しました。2歳の息子を連れて行きましたが、スタッフのみなさんが親切にしてくださり、快適に過ごすことができました。レストランにはベビーチェアなどありませんが、周りの人が気を遣ってくれるので、夕食も朝ごはんもスムーズにいただけました。
プールサイドの奥には小さな公園もあり、ホテルステイを楽しむことができました。

Overall it's excellent hotel. Stay was short and did not fully explore all the amenities. I didn't know the VIP amenities exist. In the future I will rebook the hotel IF:

1. There is early check in, late check out.
2. Executive floor. Check in staff did not inform me.
3. Juice bar during breakfast.
4. Chance for upgrade.

Hotel facility is good but the management must learn what is important for guests. Their operation is too old-fashioned. They do not understand the basic life in 2023 in terms of needs to charge devices. Hotel attendants are not thinking, but just standing there. Only when some managers tell something, they start to do something. This means that the hotel management failed in the basic training of their service providers.

A little out of the centre but right next to the Lotte Observation Deck (which is terrifying but brilliant) this is the perfect place to relax, hop in a cab - 20 mins and around 70k - 90k dong to the old quarter/ centre of Hanoi. Great pool and restaurants/ bar. Lovely huge bed.

On my walk back from fine dining at Edo, the Japanese place on the 1st floor, I just froze once I set my feet in the lobby since the whole space was being flooded with sweet live music delivered passionately by a pianist. It’s safe to say that I’m not such a great music lover but I was totally overwhelmed by her performance, both so strong and delicate at the same time that it was more than good enough to soothe my soul, tired from a long day of an early-morning flight from Seoul to Hanoi followed by a series of business meetings. Since this is not my first time to stay here but 6th or 7th for the last two plus years, I should have known much earlier that there were live piano performances in the evenings at the lobby. Now, should I feel lucky or not?

Not conveniently located but with inexpensive taxis to take you any place. Across the back highway there is a supermarket and a mall with a great food court - which is really several restaurants in the same floor, not the American style food courts. There is also an ATM in front of the hotel. Feeling lazy? You can order pizza.

Good enough for the Russian Diploamtic Attaché and the National Vietnamese Football, good enough for us!

Great facilities, including spa, sauna, gym and a massive pool.

Rooms are relatively expensive compared to Vietnam standards and the location is alittle far from old town. But you do get what you paid for, club services included free cocktails and all day Vietnamese coffee.
