Still the nicest place to stay in Ilheus, but a couple issues made it less than ideal this time.
The facilities are nice, the food is good and reasonably priced, and the location on the beach is great. This place has been my go to for many years.
This trip, we had problems getting served at lunch time in two different restaurants. The first time was an hour ordeal, the second day we left after waiting for 25 minutes while all the tables around us were being served. Maybe because we aren't Brazilian?
My other issue this trip is they gave us what i consider to be the worst room in the resort because every guest walks by it: room 11. This is the second time in four trips they've given me that room. I've ended up switching rooms both times. My recommendation is don't take a room number less than 21, the higher the better, because people walk by talking. I stated this in my reservation request but it didn't do any good.
Because of both of these issues, I'm going to try a different place on my next visit even though i like the Jardim Atlantico.

Great facilities, breakfast is outstanding. Lobby service like check in and check out is absolutely TERRIBLE so get ready for when you need anything from the reception. They actually KEPT MY PASSPORT with them and did not bother to return it, I only realized it when I was about to get on the plane. If I hadn’t acted quickly to have a uber driver pick it up for me I would’ve missed my flight. Something absolutely UNACCEPTABLE from such an acclaimed hotel. What a shame.

I will never have anything bad to say about this resort. This resort is so head and shoulders above all the rest, there is no comparison. I plan to have my wedding reception there. It continues to impress me to such a high degree, and also my fiancé. It would take a lot of convincing to get us to stay somewhere else.

I totally enjoyed my brief stay here. The property is right on the ocean beach - not huge but lots of great surf and sand and sun. Umbrellas and seating is provided. Adjacent is a roofed patio with deck chairs - waiters scurry around to to take food and drink orders on both beach and deck. And next to this is a large pool complex with nooks and crannies and kid areas. Lots of recreational opportunities. Kid friendly with entertainers for them too. The buffet breakfast expansive and yummy. Ask the Bahian-costumed lady to cook an omelet to order.
Close to the airport but to go downtown or airport expect a 15 minute wait for a taxi. Has an agency where you can book local tours - I did not use it. TV has really no English channels. I’d easily stay here again.

O resort é muito bom, mas para mim a minha suite deixou a desejar. É pequena, mas esse não é o principal problema. Tem um pequeno quintal no fundo, porém com um muro alto, eu acho que poderia ser grades ou baixo, para poder ter pelo menos vista para o jardim, porque não tem vista para nada. O colchão não é la essas coisas, mas não é ruim (nós reservamos a suite luxo). Nós gostamos e muito da surpresa que fizeram pra minha esposa (aniversariante), primeiro no café da manhã, que teve até bolo e a cordialidade dos funcionários,, muito obrigado.

Hotel limpo organizado, nas fotos apresentadas aparace muito mais novo. Ponto positivo late chekout, todo apoio para utilizar na praia. Negativo tinha evento no final de semana e o som da festa do eventofoi pra mais de meia noite, estava muito alto atrapalhando o sono. Alem de hospedes utilizando caixinha de som atrapalhando todos.

O atendimento é excelente, o café da manhã muito bom, os monitores e brincadeiras para crianças excelente.
O restaurante achei que caiu a qualidade, acredito que tenham trocado o chefe. Não acertava o ponto da carne e o sal também.
No banheiro do quarto que fiquei não tinha divisão do espaço do banho e o banheiro ficava o tempo todo muito molhado.

Atendimento maravilhoso dos funcionários, principalmente do bar/restaurante. O quarto deixa a desejar, seja pelo conforto, pelo tamanho e também pelas peças usadas (travesseiros ruins, toalhas de banho pequenas e pouco àsperas). Café da manhã maravilhoso, muitas opções e tudo muito gostoso. Área de lazer espaçosa e muito boa, bem cuidada; a piscina é gelada (poderia haver um climatizador). Equipe de monitoria ótima, todos muito alegres e super queridos. A recreação ia até as 22h (isso faz uma enorme diferença para as crianças, já que não querem dormir cedo)

Hotel bom, porém com pontos a melhorar.

Estive hospedado de 20 a 25/10 e nesse período tivemos alguns problemas pontuais, mas que porém poderiam ter sido evitados pela equipe do hotel.

1. Como chegamos mais cedo que o horário de check-in não liberaram o quarto de imediato. Informaram que assim que o quarto tivesse liberado iriam nos avisar, que poderíamos usar a área útil enquanto isso. Porém esperamos quase 2 horas e somente avisaram que o quarto estava disponível quando fomos perguntar.

2. O quarto que nos colocaram além de ser minúsculo e escuro não tinha ventilação alguma. Pra completar estava tendo uma obra bem de frente à janela do quarto (que já não ventilava pela posição), então além de não podermos abrir a janela porque iríamos dar de cara com os operários da obra, estava um barulho insuportável, impossível de ficar no quarto. Reclamamos na recepção 3 vezes antes de tomarem alguma providência. Somente após 3 dias conseguiram nos mudar de quarto e tivemos um pouco de \"paz\" para ficar no quarto.

3. Em todo o hotel tem placas dizendo que não é permitido uso de caixa de som próprio, até porque já tem música no hotel e no restaurante da praia. Porém um infeliz simplesmente ligou sua caixa de som dentro do restaurante da praia, num volume absurdo, que inclusive estava superando o volume da música do hotel, e ninguém fez nada. Questionei o funcionário do restaurante que me disse que o gerente já tinha conversado com a pessoa uma vez pedindo para abaixar o volume, mas que como a pessoa estava muito alterada pel
